He might actually launch nukes, they say.  He's going to ruin the economy by forcing American companies to operate exclusively in the U.S., they say.  He's going to illegally harass, incarcerate, or deport millions of immigrants, they say.  He's going to accelerate the Fed's expansion of the monetary supply and risk hyper-inflation, they say.  The list goes on...and on...and on.\n\nEvery single concern about the dangers of Donald Trump might be absolutely true.  But to fixate on Donald Trump is to fall for one of the biggest bait-and-switches in history!\n\nDid you ever stop to ask just how one man, in one branch of government has accumulated the ability to do any of the things mentioned above?  Do we really have a government where one man has the power to blow up the entire economy...or the entire world?!  Given that these concerns are expressed by other politicians and other political operatives, it must be true - it must be true that the President of the United States really does have this power.  How the hell did that happen?\n\nHere's the kicker, liberty fans.  For at least the past 100 years the very same political class that now shrieks at the idea of a President Trump is the exact same political class that has funneled every imaginable power of government straight into the Oval Office.  From the introduction of the Federal Reserve, to the elimination of the gold standard, to the War Powers Act, to warrantless wiretaps, to targeted drone assassinations, to the war on drugs, to surveillance and censorship of the internet, even to the power of conscripting American citizens for forced labor, this political class has personally seen to it that every possible danger that a President Trump might afford is maximally amplified by giving him a big red button for every bad decision he might make.\n\nThe danger of Trump isn't about Trump at all.       "body": "<p><img src=\"//i66.tinypic.com/140b6vm.jpg\" /></p>\n<p>A quick survey of Android app development tutorials/posts yields volumes of beginner guides and hyper specific technical details.  Certainly beginner guides are critical - every developer needs a jumping off point.  Additionally, technical proficiency is requisite for developing meaningful apps.  But is that all it takes to be a good Android developer?  Is the job really all about &quot;How to do X&quot;?</p>\n<p><strong>Not in my experience.</strong></p>\n<p>I'm a professional Android developer with about 5 years in the Android app industry.  My anecdotal experience has demonstrated that classic software engineering principles, application architecture, effective communication, and agile development processes are where the most value lies for Android developers.</p>\n<p>I'd like to bring that experience and insight to Steemit...that is, if Steemit readers like you would appreciate the insight.  If so, please up-vote this post, I'll get the signal that Android dev strategies are in demand, and I'll begin writing guides that might help you solve your app development problems in new ways.</p>\n<p>Future posts will attack questions like these:</p>\n<ul>\n  <li><strong>Is code really the solution to coding problems?</strong> (Intro to application architecture)</li>\n  <li><strong>What if Android apps are the same as all other apps?</strong> (Analysis of Activitys, Services, and Broadcast Receivers)</li>\n  <li><strong>Do you even know why you're writing code?</strong> (Code readability)</li>\n  <li><strong>Source code isn't a meritocracy...or is it?</strong> (Code ownership and oversight)</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Etc, etc, etc...</p>\n<p>Let's fill in the holes of Android dev education together.  Simply click that upvote and I'll get to writing!</p>",
