I even have a NAS server at home online, or Yandex online, but links from those services do not embed (just shows links)\n\nI want to be able to handle images via Android or via API.  Imgsafe.org site is not Android friendly however through Win, it DOES embed into Steemit (showing image not link).\n\nImgur can prob be used through Android (upload button etc) but NOT embedded in Steemit, just a link.\n\nipfs.io & ipfs.pics BOTH only show links in Steemit, no image.\n\nUploading image DIRECTLY into Steemit page DOES embed it, however I want to post via API, so direct embed will not work.\n\nUnbelievably have NOT YET found a workable solution.  Is there a Steemit setting I'm missing re which image hosting sites are allowed to embed?\nI find this behaviour of Steemit extraordinary....",

Of course, dtube is one special platform to show content from ipfs. But it lacks the speed of YouTube so the theoretical boost is missing. I guess one reason could be the largely distributed CDN for YouTube. So still ipfs has to compete with those.",

Index funds and index fund-like mutual funds get sold. And because many gold mining stocks are listed on major exchanges like NYSE, Toronto, London and even NASDAQ, they get sold as well. If one plots the S&P 500 against the GDX or the GDXJ (junior gold miners), one can see, that after 2008 the gold mining stock indices went down in-line with the S&P (or DOW) for roughly 1/3 of the downturn. Then GDX/GDXJ decoupled and heavily outperformed – after real price discovery took over again. This, while the price of the physical metal decoupled from day 1 of the stock market crash.\n2. Actively managed funds faced redemptions and where forced to sell out in order to generate liquidity while at the same time preserving the %-distribution of their portfolio positions.\n\nWhat now? Everyone has to do his/her own DD, but here is how I am positioned as of now: I own physical Gold (roughly 10% of my portfolio) as a hedge against the nex stock market crisis.
