Hal ini telah dibenarkan Jade Tadman, beliau adalah seorang juru bicara Arthritis Research Campaign, yang menyatakan bahwa beberapa penderita menemukan sengatan lebah sangat membantu. Disamping itu para ahli meyakini bahwa sengatan lebah dapat merangsang tubuh untuk memproduksi hormon yang disebut cortisol, dimana hormon ini adalah anti-inflammatory yang dapat menyembuhkan rasa sakit setelah disengat.\nSklerosis. Beberapa penderita sclerosis di Amerika mengatakan bahwa sengatan lebah bisa membantu mereka mengontrol dan bahkan mengembalikkan kondisi mereka. Untuk menyembuhkan orang yang alergi terhadap sengatan lebah dikenal dengan nama pengobatan immunotherphy dimana Pasien akan menerima suntikan setiap minggu selama delapan minggu untuk membentuk kekebalan.\n\nMadu.
