      "body": "<html>\n<p>I'm very new to steemit (btw Hello!) &nbsp;I've been researching a little about it, I've been looking around a bit and I'm now ready to provide my very first impression as a fresh \"content user\" in the most constructive way I can.<br>\n<br>\n## PROs: <br>\n* I love the idea even though I realize that I don't grasp it completely yet.<br>\n* I like the community around it. It feels like a welcoming, polite and balanced community.<br>\n* Most of the content I've been reading so far seems quite curated and deep. Similar to Medium from the reader perspective.<br>\n<br>\n## CONs:<br>\n* The navigation experience is pretty poor<br>\n<br>\n## Stressing on cons<br>\n<br>\nIn order to be more helpful I'm going to list what I don't like or what I'm missing the most (not in order). <br>\n<br>\nIn general, I feel like steemit could learn a lot from reddit from the usability and user experience stand point. Do you agree?<br>\n<br>\nThe feature I miss the most is the ability to subscribe to some tags. I see that many <a href=\"https://steemit.com/steemit/@alavan/feature-request-why-can-t-we-follow-tags\">others</a> have expressed the same feeling more than a year ago but I don't see the functionality implemented yet. All this looks really weird and I'm pretty sure there is something I'm missing or not understanding.<br>\n<br>\n I also don't enjoy the research delegated to google: it feels patchy, don't you think?<br>\n<br>\nOh, I just realized that while composing a post there is no markdown support. Seriously? This caught me off-guard, honestly.<br>\n<br>\nLess important but still relevant is the interface: I like the dark theme and its simplicity but I'm pretty sure that someone might prefer a different scheme color. The same goes for the fonts choice: I don't like serif.<br>\n<br>\nAdditionally I think that I would like to see who are the trending authors, say, in the last week and month. I'd love to be able to see who are the 10 most rewarded authors.<br>\n<br>\nP.S.
