La question est de savoir comment et par où commencer ?\n\nDans le monde occidental, il est difficile de s’éloigner du système bancaire centralisé, parce que pour la majorité des personnes, ce système répond plus ou moins bien à presque tous leurs besoins.\n\nMais dans les villages africains, il n’y a pas de banque. Les systèmes d’argent mobile sont chers et appartiennent à un petit cercle de grands groupes de téléphonie mobile. En 2016, 48,76% du PIB du Kenya a été transféré sur M-PESA, soit environ 29 milliards d’euros. M-PESA est le système monétaire mobile créé par Safaricom, une filiale de Vodafone.\n\nCela fait presque 10ans que les africains ont l’habitude de se transférer de l’argent par téléphone. Loin de nous l’idée condescendante de vouloir seulement les “aider” en apportant la technologie des crypto-monnaie plus abordable et décentraliser. C’est un marché où les gens ont déjà l’habitude d’utiliser des monnaies digitals aux quotidiens.\n\nC’est une opportunité historique pour les crypto-monnaies de s’implémenter dans ce grand marché et de devenir une application réelle pour les masses en Afrique, puis ailleurs. Elles leurs permettrait de contrôler la provenance de produits, de faire des mesures direct de l’impact d’un investissement, et d’avoir une base de données transparentes et contrôlable pour les donateurs, les investisseurs, et les clients achetant les produits bio ou fairtrade. Ceci ne serait que possible à travers une interaction direct avec les communautés locales.\n\nCette interaction direct créera de nouveau modèles de revenus pour les communautés locales.\n\nIl faudra pour cela une “chaîne d’approvisionnement ascendante des données” donnant aux entreprises un rapport fiable, cohérent et transparent de leur responsabilités sociales (RSE). De plus il est important que les communautés locales puissent contrôler et déterminer elles-mêmes avec qui et comment elles travailleront.\n\nLa technologie de la blockchain est la réponse adéquates à ces besoins.
