They are all American citizens and all speak English but one is Hispanic, one is from Pakistan and another is from Ethiopia in Africa.  China is attracting business people from around the world and many are choosing to learn Mandarin to improve their ability to negotiate and build relationships with suppliers and customers. For now, English is the de facto world language but if you can speak English, Spanish and Mandarin you can communicate with 80% of the world population.",

      "body": "I saw Queen in 1977 when I was 19 years old. It was an incredible concert.  I didn't realize at the time how lucky I was. In 1977 Queen was still building an audience. I was standing on the floor near the stage in a small (15,000 seat) arena. A few years later they were playing to sellout crowds in some of the biggest venues in the world.  So yes, I got to see one of the greatest concert performances in rock history up close and personal. I am very lucky!",

She and some classmates are volunteering  time to Hurricane Harvey clean up efforts. I went with a friend to Houston Chinatown for lunch.  I had a  simple but delicious meal of beef and scallions.
