It also offers a good vantage point for viewing the himalayean range. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Rock Garden</strong>.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Its a beautiful place with a small waterfall. This place has got varities of flowers landscaped in the rocks. Females can also get dressed in the local dress and take pictures &nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Nightingale Park/Srubbery Park.</strong> It is about 2-5 kms from Darjeeling Railway Station and walkable from the Chowrasta. It is a beautiful park with a package of cultural program performed daily during the tourist season and its opening time is 4.00 p.m. and closing time is 8.00 p.m. The park has recently been extensively re-developed, and now comprises of a giant Statue of Lord Shiva, a temple, and provisions for live-interactive entertainment. &nbsp;&nbsp;The best time to visit the park is in the evenings and &nbsp;its Good spot for photographers, You may think alternative of Tiger-hill to see the sunlight magic on Kanchenjunga from this Park. Darjeeling Cable Car is one of the key tourist attractions in Darjeeling One of the best ways to soak in the beautiful views that Darjeeling is so famous for, a ride on the ropeway can be an awesome experience. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Singalila National Park</strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Singalila National Park is a reserved forest area located at the Singalila ridge in Darjeeling district. This is a high altitude park spanning between 7,900ft to about 12,000ft covering an area of 78.6 square kms. This is in fact the highest altitude park in the state of West Bengal. Singalila National Park has some of the rarest and exotic animal life. Many of them are high altitude animals that are found mostly in the Himalayas. One of my favorites here is the Red Panda. There are also exotic larger animals in the park like the Himalayan black bear, clouded leopards and such. Occasionally even tigers can be seen in the park. Some of the popular birds in the park include long tail minivet, blood pheasant, black throated &amp; brown parrotbill, robins of many types, cuckoo, slender billed babbler, satyr tragopan, fire-tailed myzornis and lot more.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>View from Singalila National Park </strong>&nbsp;</p>\n<p>You get breathtaking views of the Eastern Himalayan peaks from various places along the route through the park. As you move up towards Sandakphu, Kanchenjunga appears to be closing in and come face to face with you. From Sandakphu, you get a panoramic view of the snow range that stretches for over 300kms from Nepal in the west through Sikkim and Bhutan to all the way up to Arunachal Pradesh. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Best time to visit Singalila Park&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;There are two great seasons to visit the park. They lived in the forests of Gorbea ( Álava ) and also in the Selva de Irati ( Navarra ) and in the area of Ataun , in Guipúzcoa . They walked humanly, their bodies covered with hair and a long mane that reached their feet. They had knowledge of magic. The Basajaun was heavily built and about 2 to 3 meters tall. The Basajaun watch over the forests and all wild creatures. They are rural genies, They are also considered to be the protector of flocks. They are the first to have cultivated the earth. Human beings obtained the right to cultivate the earth when a man won a bet with a Basajaun. They are very swift runners and sometimes attack men or seduce them and sometimes carry off young men to be their husbands. They are very curvy women with thick dark hair and features, and usually carry on with their own business.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Ebu Gogo</strong></p>\n<p><img src=\"http://gossipglue.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/ebugogo.jpg\" width=\"325\" height=\"264\"/></p>\n<p>The Ebu Gogo are a group of human-like creatures that appear in the mythology of Flores, Indonesia. In the Nage language of central Flores, ebu means “grandmother” and gogo means “he who eats anything”. These little people are said to be about 1.5 m tall, had wide and flat noses, broad faces with large mouths and hairy bodies. It is also said by the islanders that the Ebu Gogo can repeat what is said to them in parrot-like fashion. The people of Flores believe that the Ebu Gogo were alive at the time of the arrival of Portuguese trading ships over 400 years ago. A children’s story Ebu Gogo: Tales of Mini-Man has even been written which recounts the tale of how the Ebu Gogo may have interacted with the humans 18,000 years ago. &nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Fir Bolg</strong></p>\n<p><img src=\"http://gossipglue.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/04/Stamfordbridge.jpg\" width=\"344\" height=\"281\"/></p>\n<p>The Firbolg were an ancient race of people that ruled Ireland before the Tuatha de Danaan and the Melesians. They chose Connacht. According to Hesiod, the Giants were the offspring of Gaia (Earth), born from the blood that fell when Uranus (Sky) was castrated by his Titan son Cronus. There are also other stories featuring giants in the Old Testament, perhaps most famously Goliath.
