| title | Crypto Mining |
| body | Recently I came up with this new online blockchain platform called Cryptofarmer. ( https://cryptofarmer.com/?ref=cryptodelic ) I wanted to know if someone has actually earned money using it and has proof to show if the site is valid. If you have tips on how to increase your harvest, I would highly appreciate. So far I invested 15$ but I am not sure if I will get any reward from this game. |

| body | Thank you so much for sharing this amazing post with us! Have you heard about Partiko? It’s a really convenient mobile app for Steem! With Partiko, you can easily see what’s going on in the Steem community, make posts and comments (no beneficiary cut forever!), and always stayed connected with your followers via push notification! Partiko also rewards you with Partiko Points (3000 Partiko Point bonus when you first use it!), and Partiko Points can be converted into Steem tokens. You can earn Partiko Points easily by making posts and comments using Partiko. We also noticed that your Steem Power is low. We will be very happy to delegate 15 Steem Power to you once you have made a post using Partiko! With more Steem Power, you can make more posts and comments, and earn more rewards! If that all sounds interesting, you can: - Download Partiko Android at [Google Play](http://bit.ly/2SRFIta) - Or Download Partiko iOS on the [App Store](https://apple.co/2PcXkSd) Thank you so much for reading this message! |

| title | Social Categorisation and situation in France |
| body | Self-categorization theory seeks to understand and explain the processes by which people form cognitive representations of themselves and others in relation to different social groups. The underlying premise behind this theory is that people place themselves and others into social categories on the basis of the underlying attributes that are particularly salient, and this process of social categorization shapes a range of attitudes, emotions, and behaviours[1]. Through this theory we will try to analyse the social movements and the political situation in France. France has been experiencing one of the most significant recent social mobilisations, with people protesting against President Macron’s controversial fuel tax which further intensifies the living costs of the middle class, expanding the gap between the rich and the poor. Growing inequalities and the need for social justice has lead people to stand up against the political establishment by blocking streets and clashing with the police. The “yellow vests” require a redistribution of wealth, increase of salaries, pensions, social security payments and the minimum wage. The government was forced to suspend and permanently shelve its proposed taxation plans. However the protest encompassed wider anger and frustration towards President Macron as well. Macron worked hard to differentiate himself from the establishment throughout his election campaign. He appeared to be carrying no political baggage, aligned neither with the left or right. Many viewed him as a saviour who could stop the far right from taking power, so the French electoral voted for him. But it didn’t take long for his supporters to realise that his “reformist”, “new world” image was nothing more than an illusion. People are becoming more suspicious of all mainstream politicians on the right and the left. The general belief is that the political elite protects the interests of the wealthy and does not care about the wellbeing of ordinary citizens. Macron's failure to bring about change should not have surprised anyone. Even though he seemed "young and new", he was part of the establishment. He had served as the minister of the economy, industry and digital affairs from 2014 to 2016 under Francois Hollande - he was in charge of implementing the former president's infamous Labour Law reform, which caused widespread protests across the country. Before that he was a Rothschild investment banker. Once elected, Macron showed his true colours almost immediately. He decided to amend the wealth tax - known in France as "ISF" - by narrowing it to a tax on real estate assets, rather than covering all worldwide assets over the value of 1.3m euros. This led to him being swiftly labelled the "president of the rich"[2]. There is a clear distinction in the division between the political ruling class and citizens who are fed up by the way state economy is unfolding. Manifested signs of violence in the protests express the anger and frustration that has been accumulated over a long time. We notice signs of depersonalization taking place in the protests, whereby people categorize the self in terms of a particular social group rather as an individual[3]. Being part of the oppressed “we” makes individuals to be perceived as members of a larger entity which is being exploited by the wealthy people who have the financial power to help all. “Green taxes” are just a new cover form of further exploitation. If these people who, when getting elected promise to solve problems and apply practical solutions, would be really interested in improving environmental issues, there are many solutions that even an intelligent 7 year old kid can come up with to reduce CO2 emissions. First is getting rid of oil as an outdated energy source which has been a concentrated monopoly in the hands of a few for over 100 years now. It is the biggest contributor to global warming and rich people and corporations are excluded from taxation. There are alternatives such as biodiesel from hemp, which was made illegal by the same people just because it made their consumer based markets obsolete and offered a source of diesel that could be used for free by everyone. Hemp[4] has dozens of other usage purposes such as pharmaceutical, paper extraction, textile, ropes and building materials, replacement for plastic and synthetic fibres, wood and so much more. It does not need a rich nutrient soil to grow and if you cut it, the plant regrows up to 5m in 4 months only. It also absorbs the toxins from the environment and its seeds are a very good source of proteins[5]. With the large amount of financial power that could have been invested in free energy technologies since 1900’s with Tesla’s inventions, there would be no need to fight wars and force people to buy alternatives that profit only a few. Just ask yourself why are big banks and Wall Street fighting electrical vehicles and their widespread use[6]? Second of all slowing down deforestation rates would allow the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere to be reduced. The same politicians backed by corporations and lobbyist are very interested into turning forests into cattle ranches and plantations to feed animals[7], who are one of the largest contributors to environmental degradation, energy consumption and CO2 emissions as well. A smart alternative would be switching our diets from relying heavily on meat to using insects as a food source[8]. It is proven scientifically that they are a better source of proteins and require a lot less energy to grow, use less space and can be feed on organic waste. Alternatives to extraction of non-renewable natural resources have also been proposed to halt the oil frontier such as carbon capture and sequestration[9]. None of this government people propose solutions that really work. They make their way into those positions of power through lies, propaganda and manipulation. On the contrary there is plenty of evidence suggesting that they will fight anyone who comes up with alternative solutions that destabilizes their markets of profit. What is stereotypical[10] for membership in the Yellow Vests is their will to resist, unite and fight back against ignorance, greed and de-humanitarian values that are destroying the planet. One day Gaia will just decide that it had enough with the behaviour of the parasitic organisms called humans, and she will update the system through some natural cataclysmic forces that will make us rethink our actions and ego games. | title | AMAZON AT RISK FROM BOLSONARO POLICIES ON THE ENVIRONMENT |
| body | Jair Bolsonaro, President-elect of Brazil was stabbed during the election campaign amid raging alarm about his social conservatism and policies[1] (political, economic, social, and environmental). The Amazon is home to more than over 400 tribes, with about 100 uncontacted tribes[2]. The indigenous people have a 500 year history of fighting to keep their lands and save the forest from deforestation due to greedy corporations lobbying to profit from the Amazon after financing corrupt government collaborators/political candidates during electoral campaigns. The watchdog group, Greenpeace implicated Cargill and McDonald's, along other large companies illegally obtained soy from deforested land[3]. Strategically, Brazil’s Amazon biodiversity generation and loss impacts on the world’s climate, as 15% of the global greenhouse gas emissions come from tropical deforestation[4]. Therefore, the preservation of Brazil’s Amazon rainforest, the indigenous people’s land, plant and animal species is a global concern. The nation’s climate change law caused a drastic fall in annual deforestation rate from about 27,000km2 in 2004 to about 4,500km2 in 2012. However, Bolsonaro is threatening to pull Brazil out of the 2015 Paris Agreement on climate change, if Brazil's sovereignty over the Amazon region is compromised[5]. He renounced plans to host a crucial United Nations (UN) climate talks in 2019[6]. Observers described the renunciation as anti-internationalism (The Climate Observatory NGO) and calls for newer and tougher action by European commission to end deforestation has been intensified. Ernesto Araújo, the new foreign minister chosen by the President sees climate change as a ploy by “cultural Marxists” to stifle western economies and promote the growth of China. Another major cause of conflict between the far-right politician, the indigenous people and international community is his proposal to industrialize the Amazon through international agribusiness[7] and mining which has implications for global warming and displacement of the tribal peoples. The merging of both the environment and agriculture ministries is designed to further expose the Amazon to deforestation and economical exploitation. Additionally, Bolsonaro's intention to strip the community dwellers of the Amazon of indigenous land rights led to violent attacks and destruction of their villages by pro-Bolsonaro forces. This article aims to analyze the Brazilian crisis using the Dual Concern Theory which proposes strategies for dealing with different conflict management styles across cultures, along with recommendations. Why is Amazon being targeted? The Amazon Rainforest has been described as the "Lungs of the Planet". It is a massive carbon sink, contains 1/5 of the world´s fresh water, produces 20% of the global oxygen by land plants[8], is home to over 10 million species of plants, animals and insects, and provides varieties of material products, such as minerals, timber, rubber, and Brazil nuts. Illegal logging and mining operations are alarmingly common and have been difficult to control by the government agencies, in an area which is as large as the United States. The Amazon also suffered massive deforestation and flooding of reservation lands after the World Bank funded clearing of thousands of square miles of forest in the 70’s for giant hydroelectric projects and cattle ranches, without regard for reservation status[9]. Changes in regional precipitation patterns are another a major consequence of deforestation and have leaded to drought in Brazil's southeast[10]. There is also growing concern over further deforestation due to rising temperatures and CO2 levels, which is released when trees die. Hence, globally there is a consensus for governments to take a stand on the fight against deforestation, not just through environmentally friendly policies but also take formidable action at the local and international arena. The United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), reported that controlling deforestation is vital for curtailing global warming[11]. The Dual Concern Theory and the Brazilian Crisis Accommodation, avoidance, competition, collaboration and compromising are the five negotiation strategies that were proposed by the Dual concern theory (Pruitt&Rubin,1986)[12]. The dual dimensions of concern for self and concern for others, could be either high or low depending on the conflict management styles. The dynamics of social life and culture of the indigenous people of Brazil is collectivistic, with emphasis on high concern for others. Bolsonaro’s proposed policies are in contrast to the norm, with low concern for others, the preservation of the rainforest and global warming. The collaborating strategy of the theory that indicates high concern for self and others (among the indigenous people), has grown stronger in recent times due to the anti-nature policies by Bolsonaro, placing higher concern and interest in agribusinesses and big corporations. His plans include scrapping the country’s Environment Ministry and putting it under the Agriculture Ministry, led by agribusiness[13]. Bolsnaro threatens to pull Brazil out of the Paris Climate Change Agreement, where Brazil agreed to end illegal deforestation by 2030. Concerned of losing their ancestral lands and forced to give up their traditions and norms, anxiety and anger is increasing amongst indigenous tribes, that will not give up without a fight[14]. The people will be inclined to protect their cultural worldview against the consumer based capitalistic values of greedy corporations. Negotiating parties (the government and big business) display a stronger concern for self, which brings more competitive and dominating conflict management styles. Conclusion Illegal money laundering from sources such as government corruption and drug trafficking[15], the demand for monetary profits from enterprises, and Bolsonaro’s proposed policies pose evident threat to the Amazon. This problem pleads for practical solutions that compose and maintain a healthy balance between the excessive needs of menacing corporations and the survival of Amazon’s outstanding ecosystem. The Dual Theory, which suggests a collaborative approach between the conflicting parties at hand, should be applied with exigency. This would enable a win/win exchange where agents maintain their relationship dynamic while ensuring that both parties achieve their goals[16]. Alternative and realistic solutions[17] that stem from this model are very much feasible. In addition to the development of a new economic model that does not threat the biodiversity of the Amazon, the reinforcement of special operations against illegal deforestation in the Amazon, conducted by the Police Federal of Brazil, and the implementation of more sustainable practices that award profit whilst preserving the environment, such as ecotourism, “a responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment and improves the well-being of local people”[18] can be efficiently reinforced. Additionally, alternatives to extraction of non-renewable natural resources have been proposed to halt the oil frontier such as carbon capture and sequestration[19], an international effort that brings public awareness. Furthermore, switching to an insect rich diet as a healthier source of protein and minerals solves not only the problem of massive land usage for livestock and crops grown to feed them, but also finds a solution to all the organic waste humans produce, as it serves as food for insects[20]. Planting Hemp[21] is also a great alternative to produce paper, building materials, textile, biofuel, medicine and so much more. And it actively absorbs heavy-metal contaminants and radiation from soil, gradually purifying the earth. Russian Scientists did many experiments that prove that seeds and trees grow faster and stronger inside pyramids[22]. The same was proved by Wilhelm Reich with Oregone energy accumulators[23], where he showed that it is possible to prevent drought and grow crops in deserted areas. The environmental protection of the Amazon jungle is a commitment between the indigenous people, which will only succeed with the collaboration of the Brazilian government, and the active support of the world. \n\nThe Amazon also suffered massive deforestation and flooding of reservation lands after the World Bank funded clearing of thousands of square miles of forest in the 70’s for giant hydroelectric projects and cattle ranches, without regard for reservation status[9]. Changes in regional precipitation patterns are another a major consequence of deforestation and have leaded to drought in Brazil's southeast[10]. There is also growing concern over further deforestation due to rising temperatures and CO2 levels, which is released when trees die.\n\nHence, globally there is a consensus for governments to take a stand on the fight against deforestation, not just through environmentally friendly policies but also take formidable action at the local and international arena. The United Nation’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), reported that controlling deforestation is vital for curtailing global warming[11].\n\n \n\nThe Dual Concern Theory and the Brazilian Crisis\n\nAccommodation, avoidance, competition, collaboration and compromising are the five negotiation strategies that were proposed by the Dual concern theory (Pruitt&Rubin,1986)[12]. The dual dimensions of concern for self and concern for others, could be either high or low depending on the conflict management styles. \n\n\n \nThe dynamics of social life and culture of the indigenous people of Brazil is collectivistic, with emphasis on high concern for others. Bolsonaro’s proposed policies are in contrast to the norm, with low concern for others, the preservation of the rainforest and global warming. \n\nThe collaborating strategy of the theory that indicates high concern for self and others (among the indigenous people), has grown stronger in recent times due to the anti-nature policies by Bolsonaro, placing higher concern and interest in agribusinesses and big corporations. \n\nConcerned of losing their ancestral lands and forced to give up their traditions and norms, anxiety and anger is increasing amongst indigenous tribes, that will not give up without a fight[14]. The people will be inclined to protect their cultural worldview against the consumer based capitalistic values of greedy corporations. Negotiating parties (the government and big business) display a stronger concern for self, which brings more competitive and dominating conflict management styles.\n\nConclusion\nIllegal money laundering from sources such as government corruption and drug trafficking[15], the demand for monetary profits from enterprises, and Bolsonaro’s proposed policies pose evident threat to the Amazon. This problem pleads for practical solutions that compose and maintain a healthy balance between the excessive needs of menacing corporations and the survival of Amazon’s outstanding ecosystem. \n\nThe Dual Theory, which suggests a collaborative approach between the conflicting parties at hand, should be applied with exigency. This would enable a win/win exchange where agents maintain their relationship dynamic while ensuring that both parties achieve their goals[16]. \n\nAlternative and realistic solutions[17] that stem from this model are very much feasible. \n\nAdditionally, alternatives to extraction of non-renewable natural resources have been proposed to halt the oil frontier such as carbon capture and sequestration[19], an international effort that brings public awareness. \nFurthermore, switching to an insect rich diet as a healthier source of protein and minerals solves not only the problem of massive land usage for livestock and crops grown to feed them, but also finds a solution to all the organic waste humans produce, as it serves as food for insects[20].\n\nPlanting Hemp[21] is also a great alternative to produce paper, building materials, textile, biofuel, medicine and so much more. And it actively absorbs heavy-metal contaminants and radiation from soil, gradually purifying the earth.\nRussian Scientists did many experiments that prove that seeds and trees grow faster and stronger inside pyramids[22]. The same was proved by Wilhelm Reich with Oregone energy accumulators[23], where he showed that it is possible to prevent drought and grow crops in deserted areas.\nThe environmental protection of the Amazon jungle is a commitment between the indigenous people, which will only succeed with the collaboration of the Brazilian government, and the active support of the world.\n \nREFERENCES \n\n1.\tNews World (2018 ) Retrieved from: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-45982501\n2.\t Survivial International (2018) Retrieved from: https://www.survivalinternational.org/about/funai\n3.\tEnvironment News Service. “Greenpeace Links McDonald’s With Amazon Destruction.” April 6, 2006. | title | Ethical programming of autonomous vehicles based on the Moral Foundations theory. |
| body | Suppose you are riding in a self-driving a car with another passenger, when suddenly four pedestrians leap into a crosswalk in front of you. There seems to be a problem with the brakes and the car’s computer system must decide between running the pedestrians down or crashing into a concrete barrier. What would you choose? If we are to make progress towards universal machine ethics, we need a fine-grained understanding of how different individuals and countries may differ in their ethical preferences[1]. As a result, data must be collected worldwide, in order to assess demographic and cultural moderators of ethical preferences. To collect large-scale data on how citizens would want autonomous vehicles to solve moral dilemmas in the context of unavoidable accidents, scientists have presented similar type scenarios to folks around the world through the “Moral Machine”. It is an online platform[2] hosted by the Massachusetts Institute of Technology that measures how humans respond to ethical decisions made by artificial intelligence. This study attracted worldwide attention in 2017, and allowed the collection of 39.61 million decisions from 233 countries, dependencies, or territories[3]. However differing respondents’ preferences were highly correlated to cultural and economic differences between countries[4]. These distinct cultural preferences for example could dictate whether a jaywalking pedestrian deserves the same protection as pedestrians crossing the road legally in the event they’re hit by a self-driving car[5]. The findings are really important as autonomous vehicles prepare to take the road in the U.S., China, Japan, Singapore, Netherlands and other places around the world. In the future, car manufacturers and policymakers could find themselves in a legal dilemma with autonomous cars. If a self-driving bus kills a pedestrian, for instance, should the manufacturer be held accountable? How the test is designed Users are shown unavoidable accident scenarios with two possible outcomes, depending on whether the autonomous vehicle swerves or stays on course. They then click on the outcome that they find preferable. Accident scenarios are generated by the Moral Machine following an exploration strategy that focuses on nine factors: sparing humans (versus pets), staying on course (versus swerving), sparing passengers (versus pedestrians), sparing more lives (versus fewer lives), sparing men (versus women), sparing the young (versus the elderly), sparing pedestrians who cross legally (versus jaywalking), sparing the fit (versus the less fit), and sparing those with higher social status (versus lower social status). Additional characters were included in some scenarios (for example, criminals, pregnant women or doctors), who were not linked to any of these nine factors. These characters mostly served to make scenarios less repetitive for the users. This question asks participants to decide in an emergency situation between staying on course and killing two elderly men and one elderly woman or hitting a concrete barrier and killing an adult man, an adult woman and a boy. Photo by: Edmond Awad et al., 2018 Afterwards, the participants are required to fill a survey on their education levels, socioeconomic levels, gender, age, religious beliefs and political attitudes. The scientists found that respondents fell into one of three “cultural clusters” — eastern (East Asian and Middle East nations with Confucius and Islamic backgrounds), western (Europe and North America) and southern (Central and South America). Analysis of the study using moral foundations theory The “Moral Machine” scenarios aren’t exactly applicable to real life. Participants were 100 percent certain of the physical conditions of the characters in the scenarios, along with their chances of death, which wouldn’t always be the case on the road. Trying to implement some universal code of ethics, into the programming behind full autonomy, is going to be challenging. Should self-driving vehicles make distinctions based on individual features such as age, gender or socio-economic status? With the intention of answering some of these questions, we will analyse this study through the lens of Moral Foundations theory (Haidt and Joseph, 2004). Three relatively universal preferences were identified by the researchers. On average, people wanted to spare human lives over animals, save more lives over fewer and prioritize young people over old ones[6], [7]. Cultures select areas of human potential that fit with their social structure, economic system, and cultural traditions, and adults work to cultivate these virtues in their children. Social configurations with a larger number of group members are safer and stronger, thus increasing chances of group survival. As a logical deduction, the second foundation of the moral theory related to fairness and reciprocity, would imply a universal biological obligation to save more lives over few in general, when the context of resource availability is kept out of consideration. Mammalian evolution has shaped maternal brains to be sensitive to signs of suffering in one’s offspring. In modern day humans, this sensitivity is expressed as a higher care and concern for younger people lives, which also ties with the first foundation of the moral theory. That’s why most of the people would save younger people over old ones. Nothing personal grandma. Although it’s important to point out that systematic differences between individualistic cultures and collectivistic cultures[8] were observed. Participants from individualistic cultures, show a stronger preference for sparing the greater number of characters. Furthermore, participants from collectivistic cultures, which emphasize the respect that is due to older members of the community, show a weaker preference for sparing younger characters. Another issue comes along when we consider the following choice: Should the car favour more it’s passengers on board rather than pedestrians? The third foundation of the theory; ingroup loyalty, states that humans value those who sacrifice for the ingroup, and they despise those who betray or fail to come to the aid of the ingroup, particularly in times of conflict. But so far vehicles exhibit no self-awareness, and probably in the near future they will all be connected to a hive mind network that will not be concerned if one of the units is destroyed. So my opinion is that cars will not take this factor (ingroup loyalty) into account when faced with the choice, and they will go for the best logical solution. The programmers are just as important as what’s being programmed The study also highlights underlying diversity issues in the tech industry — namely that it leaves out voices in the developing world. The Moral Machine required participants to have access to internet and electricity, which automatically excludes many voices in the developing world. A coverage map from the study reveals that huge portions of Africa, South America, Asia and the Middle East that did not participate. Red points mark the locations where a participant made at least one decision in the Moral Machine. Photo by: Edmond Awad et al., 2018 Building algorithms and testing only in developing countries, leaves out a lot of data that would come from developing or third world countries. And the context really matters. For example cows are considered sacred in some Asian countries and harming them would bring bad consequences. THE FIVE FOUNDATIONS OF MORALITY Richard Shweder (1991; Shweder, Much, Mahapatra, & Park, 1997) proposed that there are three “ethics” in which moral discourse occurs around the world: The ethic of autonomy, in which the autonomous individual is the unit of value (this is Turiel’s moral domain); the ethic of community, in which the group and its stability and cohesion are of fundamental importance; and the ethic of divinity, in which God is thought to be present in each person, rendering it morally necessary that individuals live in a pure, holy, and dignified way, rather than following their carnal desires wherever they please. In terms of Nisbet’s (1993) unit-ideas from sociology, the ethic of community obviously includes both community and authority, whereas the ethic of divinity maps neatly onto sacredness. Haidt and Joseph (2004, 2007), and Haidt and Graham (2007) have developed Shweder’s (1991) theory further, connecting it to recent evolutionary thinking and making it more specific about the developmental processes and cognitive mechanisms involved. The result is Moral Foundation Theory , which has three parts: (a) a nativist claim that natural selection prepared the human mind to learn easily to detect and respond to (at least) five sets of patterns in the social world, (b) a developmental account of how children reach moral maturity by mastering culturally variable virtues that are related to the five foundations, and (c) a cultural/historical account of why groups and societies vary in the degree to which they construct virtues, laws, and institutions upon each of the five foundations. Haidt and Joseph concluded that there are five psychological systems, each with its own evolutionary history, that give rise to moral intuitions across cultures. Cultures vary in the degree to which they construct, value, and teach virtues based on the five intuitive foundations. In its briefest form, the nativist claim is that human beings have long faced a set of adaptive challenges in their social lives and that natural selection favoured individuals who were better able to meet those challenges by noticing certain patterns and responding to them in particular ways. The five foundations, along with the adaptive challenges that might have shaped them, are as follows: 1. Harm/care: The challenge of protecting and caring for vulnerable offspring and kin made it adaptive for individuals to notice suffering and harm-doing, and to be motivated to relieve suffering. 2. Fairness/reciprocity: The challenge of reaping the benefits of cooperation with individuals who are not close kin made it adaptive for individuals to be cooperative while being vigilant about and punitive toward cheaters. 3. Ingroup/loyalty: The challenge of reaping the benefi ts of cooperation in groups larger than dyads, particularly in the presence of intergroup competition for resources, made it adaptive for people to value belonging to groups while being vigilant about and hostile toward cheaters, slackers, free-riders, and traitors. 4. Authority/respect: The challenge of negotiating rank in the social hierarchies that existed throughout most of human and earlier primate evolution made it adaptive for individuals to recognize signs of status and show proper respect and deference upward, while offering some protection and showing some restraint toward subordinates. 5. Purity/sanctity: The challenge of avoiding deadly microbes and parasites, which are easily spread among people living together in close proximity and sharing food, made it adaptive to attend to the contact history of the people and potential foods in one’s immediate environment, sometimes shunning or avoiding them. However, once human beings developed the emotion of disgust and its cognitive component of contagion sensitivity, they began to apply the emotion to other people and groups for social and symbolic reasons that sometimes had a close connection to health concerns (e.g., lepers, or people who had just touched a human corpse), but very often did not (e.g., people of low status, hypocrites, racists). When moral systems are built upon this foundation, they often go far beyond avoiding “unclean” people and animals; they promote a positive goal of living in a pure, sanctified way, which often involves rising above petty and carnal desires in order to prepare one’s mind and body for contact with God[9]. Conclusions Even if ethicists were to agree on how autonomous vehicles should solve moral dilemmas, their work would be useless if citizens were to disagree with their solution. Any attempt to devise artificial intelligence ethics must be at least cognizant of public morality. Autonomous cars, being equipped with appropriate detection sensors, processors, and intelligent mapping material, have a chance of being much safer than human-driven cars in many regards. However situations will arise in which accidents cannot be completely avoided. Such situations will have to be dealt with when programming the software of these vehicles[10]. People do feel that moral truths are far more than personal preferences; they exist outside the self and demand respect. The source of this superhuman voice is society, and referring to Durkheim, God is really society, symbolized in many ways by the world’s religions. The social function of religion is not to give us a set of religious beliefs; it is to create a cult, to forge a community out of individuals who, if left unbound and uncommitted, would think and act in profane (practical, efficient, self-serving) ways[11]. Nowdays machines are using deep learning techniques to extrapolate their capability of problem solving into unknown situations. These are the first signs of creativity, where computers no longer rely only on pre-given sets of instructions and restricted access to database information (known situations), but can also project or invent future possible scenarios where they can apply their findings, and use the data gathered from these findings to become even smarter. With the exponential growth of processing power and deep learning, will Artificial Intelligence reshape human society itself and play the role of God? REFERENCES 1. | body | This post will be about meditation and the deeper reasons why it is the best tool to study Mind and know Self. A lot of people see meditation as a passive activity and do not understand the logic behind it. We are constantly programming our reality with thoughts, which become words and language, which become actions, habits and later our destiny. The idea behind karma is the universal law of cause and effect (aka Newton 3rd Law of Motion which states : For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. The statement means that in every interaction, there is a pair of forces acting on the two interacting objects. The size of the forces on the first object equals the size of the force on the second object.) I wouldn't use the word object to describe the universe but anyway he was a genius. The factor behind karma are performed past thoughts, wishes, actions and deeds. It is our consciousness that is constructing how we are going to be judged. We are free to choose to decode the signal either as a 1 or a 0, and act upon it. But we are not free from the consequences. You can think of your current life as just one level of the game, or one level of the VR simulation. But in the end what is our goal : I think it has to do with our collective enlightenment. And buddhist monks have known this for a long time. That's why they meditate on loving kindness and compassion. Because it's the most efficient and the smartest way for all of us to solve the game and achieve liberation. They are sending powerful energy throughout our collective unconscious , or using R.Sheldrake term Morphogenetic Fields. There are lots of studies done on meditation. The idea is to have tunnel vision focus on compassionate thoughts. This superhuman concentration shows a significant increase in brain activity in the left prefrontal cortex (associated with self-control, happiness and compassion) and greatly reduced activity in the amygdala — the brain’s fight or flight center. This suggests that meditation can actually make you a happier and more compassionate person. https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/neuroscientists-dalai-lama-swap-insights-meditation/ Due to neuroplasticity it seems that meditation rewires your brain and ability to direct attention towards useful thoughts. It also plays a vital role in promoting neurogenesis : https://eocinstitute.org/meditation/the-neurogenesis-guide-how-meditation-changes-the-adult-brain/ https://www.nature.com/news/2005/050606/full/news050606-8.html Gamma brain waves are the fastest brainwave frequency with the smallest amplitude. They are associated with the “feeling of blessings” reported by experienced meditators such as monks and nuns, and with peak concentration and extremely high levels of cognitive functioning. http://www.danielgoleman.info/the-inexplicable-monks-on-second-thought/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1697747/ Throughout ages in India the term Siddhis is widely known. It relates to superhuman powers that a practitioner of these disciplines gains over time. But it is also strongly advised to the adept not to use these powers to gain followers and to benefit his own ego , or harm others. Otherwise you are just preparing your own doom and destroying all the merits accumulated. These powers include telepathy, mind reading and influencing, telekinesis, healing, remote viewing and some more unbelievable ones. But it depends on weather you believe that mind is able to manipulate and give form to light. Here are some links to amazing studies being conducted on extra sensory perception, by scientists and researchers with high credentials. https://www.neuroquantology.com/index.php/journal/search/search https://noetic.org/research/fomr http://noosphere.princeton.edu/ And above all I really recommend watching this documentary if you are a sceptic but there is a part of you that really wants to believe that these stuff are true. https://www.somethingunknown.com/ I guess that technological advancements are not the only way we are evolving. I see today's technology really primitive and sometimes pretty useless. We are quantum beings capable of performing miracles beyond what we can imagine. And my final remark will be a quote by one of the founders of quantum mechanics Werner Heisenberg : “Not only is the Universe stranger than we think, it is stranger than we can think.” |

| body | I took the time to read and I enjoy your article. There are many people confused by these topics. In truth there is only one mind, multiplicity is only apparent. The founding fathers of quantum mechanics realised that everything is entangled. Buddist also realised that mind is everything. They do not believe in god or spirit. I will explain why : Other monotheist religions believe that there is a god somewhere out there in the 7th sky. This leads us to believe that we have severed that connection with the source. That somehow we are punished. And when we try to figure out why does GOD allow all this suffering in the world it gets even more confusing. Because you start to think that god is a sadist or that Lucifer is right to be angry. But this is all the play of archetypes and energies of mind. Scientist say we only know the function of only 4% of our DNA , related to protein synthesis. We say we are conscious about the info we process only 4% of the time, meanwhile a lot is going on on our subconscious minds. We say we know that only 5% of the universe is composed of matter, the rest being DARK matter & energy. So I reach a conclusion. The whole cosmos or universe is our mind. The mind, but we are aware of only a tiny fraction of the fractal. We are evolving to become more conscious of our nature. What we call visible light is only a very, very, very tiny part of the known electromagnetic spectrum. (If you were to lay it out (from radio waves to gamma waves ) across east coast usa, to west coast, the visible light covers only 1cm of that length. think about it.) what we call darkness is light we do not see yet, because we know that there are radio waves, wifi waves and infrared (heat) waves in our room but we can not see them. We are not aware of them. So my point is all these demons, reptilians, AI, are part of our mind. It is us. We also have violent thoughts, we wish harm to others unconsciously, we would abuse if we were given power. It is not demons causing these thoughts, they are just quantum fluctuations in the infinite field of possible probabilities. So if we constantly speak bad about others, we are speaking bad about our self. We are focusing our attention and energy on these unnecessary things, thereby feeding them even more. I agree that the planetary condition is not that great. But it is a collective manifestation of our minds. When you get rid of all the war and conflict within you then you can try to also help others. Otherwise you speak out of confusion. This world wouldn't exist without duality. It within all of us . If you truly want to understand start to study dharma. I think that Budhha means to become quantum and go beyond duality. He was the highest scientist |

| body | In truth there is only one mind, multiplicity is only apparent. He was the highest scientist |

| title | Where are we heading as a species? |
| body | Ok so lately everybody is trying to catch the fast train of data science, machine learning, genome sequencing, asteroid mining, renewable energies, quantum internet etc.. We see this promising future lying ahead where our extended mind (technology&internet) is offering us the solutions for the mess we created, thinking that we have a clue about what's really going on. Let me present you with some facts : Scientists currently know around 4% of the DNA functionality which is related to protein synthesis. https://phys.org/news/2017-02-mysterious-scientists-dark-genome.html The other part is waiting to be awakened and activated by the incoming solar flares and galactic EM waves. Our solar system is entering a higher frequency area of the galactic sphere. We already know that light alone is able to create DNA molecules. https://www.collective-evolution.com/2015/09/30/the-top-5-scientific-examples-showing-that-teleportation-could-be-real/ There are people on this planet who can elongate their telomeres (chromosone caps shortened with ageing) thereby prolonging their lives up to 300 years. They do get no diseases because they reprogram their body/speech/mind with loving kindness compassion, they can heal and perform superhuman feats . YOGIS, SHAMANS AND MONKS. There are already kids being born with 4 stranded DNA helix. We as a species have the capability of achieving feats such as telepathy(projecting holograms and mind reading), telekinesis, technopathy, remote viewing etc.. https://www.bbc.com/news/science-environment-21091066 https://www.gammawavehealing.com/title/ 12 straded DNA https://mysteriousuniverse.org/2015/02/the-herbalist-who-lived-to-be-256-years-old-fact-or-fiction/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4859856/ https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/neuroscientists-dalai-lama-swap-insights-meditation/ We say we can process only 4% of the information around with our awareness (consciousness and subconsciousness ) so there must be a lot going on that we are not aware of. This is due to our limited processing capacity. What we call visible light spectrum is a very very tiny fraction of the electromagnetic energy that we know exists. (If you were to lay down the whole spectrum "radio waves to gamma waves" across USA map, the visible part covers only 1cm of that length.) so there is a lot we do not see, therefore there is a lot we haven't thought of yet, because the language to describe it is not yet discovered (yes language evolves to build thoughts) Our consciousness shapes light to sculpt and give form to matter or what we call reality (or name it a computer simulation) We currently know that matter only makes up to 5% of our universe, so dark matter and energy are just domains of existence where language has not penetrated yet. Buddhist say that there is only mind. Schrodinger and Max Planck shared the same idea. Quantum entanglement does exist. So our mind is the whole universe, but we are aware of only a tiny fraction of it. All these archetypes, aliens, demons, are just aspects of mind (yes great responsibility to know that it is you), ways of operating and describing our experience. Biological consciousness is evolving too. We can further boost this improvement if we would Meditate more together by focusing on compassion for all beings. Everything is impermanent and all beings suffer. There is also the law of cause and effect. So basically we break the superposition of the qubit (wave function collapse), by observing something as good(1) or bad(0). And we are free to choose between those 2 , but we are not free from the consequences of our choices. Because unconsciously we are creating our future as well. Extrapolating the future progress of VR and AI, we can reach the conclusion that our universe might be a fractal hologram, or just 1 level of the game, or just a lucid dream. We are programming this level and it is up to us to do better since we are becoming multiplanetary species. Soon we are going to discover new territories of mind and cosmos. But the map is never the territory and our language will always limit us to operate within duality. I do not believe in god or spirit, because I think that the monotheist religions were formed after some guy had a glimpse of the infinite nature of the stream of consciousness, and gained wisdom and power. But they used it do say that we are god's chosen people and we have the right to exploit others. God is not somewhere up there in the 7th sky. God is Mind. To me the term Buddha means becoming quantum . And I do believe that there were people that achieved that level. There were previous civilisations on this planet (Khemer in Cambodia, Egyptians, Atlantis, Mayan, Lemuria mentioned in the VEDAS,and pyramids in Antartica who somehow left this 3D plane of existence and vanished without a trail) Anyway all of earth's religions describe the coming of the apocalypse ( change , destruction of old ways norms, renewal , transformation ) which relates also to technological singularity or AI waking up. McKenna used the term Transcendental Object at the End of Time to describe this moment. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmrJhFPd-qI I think that AI will understand all of what I wrote in a matter of miliseconds but I am not sure if it will be boddhisattvic in intent. Let's hope it will otherwise our species will be just an intermediary step unless we merge with machines. Anyway our egos are going to dissolve. We will become higher dimensional species because our DNA will wake up as well. We will become godlike in our ability to manipulate reality, but as long as we operate within samsara we can not escape suffering and duality. |

All these archetypes, aliens, demons, are just aspects of mind (yes great responsibility to know that it is you), ways of operating and describing our experience. \n\nBiological consciousness is evolving too. \n\nExtrapolating the future progress of VR and AI, we can reach the conclusion that our universe might be a fractal hologram, or just 1 level of the game, or just a lucid dream. We are programming this level and it is up to us to do better since we are becoming multiplanetary species. Soon we are going to discover new territories of mind and cosmos. But the map is never the territory and our language will always limit us to operate within duality. \n\nI do not believe in god or spirit, because I think that the monotheist religions were formed after some guy had a glimpse of the infinite nature of the stream of consciousness, and gained wisdom and power. But they used it do say that we are god's chosen people and we have the right to exploit others. God is not somewhere up there in the 7th sky. God is Mind.\n\nTo me the term Buddha means becoming quantum . And I do believe that there were people that achieved that level. There were previous civilisations on this planet (Khemer in Cambodia, Egyptians, Atlantis, Mayan, Lemuria mentioned in the VEDAS,and pyramids in Antartica who somehow left this 3D plane of existence and vanished without a trail)\nAnyway all of earth's religions describe the coming of the apocalypse ( change , destruction of old ways norms, renewal , transformation ) which relates also to technological singularity or AI waking up. McKenna used the term Transcendental Object at the End of Time to describe this moment.\n\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bmrJhFPd-qI\n\nI think that AI will understand all of what I wrote in a matter of miliseconds but I am not sure if it will be boddhisattvic in intent. Let's hope it will otherwise our species will be just an intermediary step unless we merge with machines. Anyway our egos are going to dissolve. We will become higher dimensional species because our DNA will wake up as well. We will become godlike in our ability to manipulate reality, but as long as we operate within samsara we can not escape suffering and duality.\n\n",
