Y si esa ayuda es desinteresada y se pone en marcha de manera altruista, su valor es el doble que el de otros gestos.\n\nPero ojo, no es solo una cuestión de dar lo que ya no necesitamos o de repartir entre los más vulnerables aquello que nos sobra. La ayuda desinteresada consiste en otra cosa: es compartir aquello que tenemos con otros a quienes les hace falta y, gracias a ello, contribuir a su bienestar y su calidad de vida. ¿Lo has puesto en práctica alguna vez?\n\nAyudar a las personas: fórmulas cotidianas y gratificantes\nCuando hablamos de ayudar a las personas, una de las alternativas más recurrentes es vincularnos a un proyecto de voluntariado, bien sea en nuestro país o en latitudes, culturas, territorios o continentes lejanos. ¿Te gusta la idea?\n\nNo obstante, no es necesario tomar la mochila y coger un vuelo hacia el otro lado del mundo para poner nuestro granito de arena. También puedes hacerlo a través de actos cotidianos y sencillos pero con un inmenso valor humano. Mira los que te proponemos a continuación y dinos si ya practicas alguno:\n\nDonar artículos de primera necesidad, medicamentos, alimentos o incluso sumas de dinero que financien proyectos de asistencia a poblaciones en riesgo de vulnerabilidad. Hay muchas organizaciones en activo que necesitan recursos materiales para cubrir sus actividades.\nRetribuir a quienes han hecho algo por ti en algún momento de tu vida, más allá de cuándo o de cómo lo han hecho. Por ejemplo, si alguna vez estuviste entre los beneficiarios de una fundación o de un proyecto en concreto, ¿por qué no implicarse ahora como voluntario para ayudar a otras personas?\nAlentar a quienes soliciten tu ayuda a buscar una vida digna. Un consejo, una recomendación o incluso una palabra pueden ser elementos que sirvan como guía a personas en situación vulnerable. Recuerda que tus conocimientos también son una fuente incalculable de solidaridad.\nImplicarse de lleno en proyectos de tu comunidad o en iniciativas que vayan orientadas a la construcción de un mundo más justo y solidario. ¿Quién mejor que tú mismo para saber lo que necesitan las personas que comparten tus mismos espacios de convivencia?\nRefugiados: ayudar a las personas más necesitadas\nUn ejemplo de lo que decimos se aprecia actualmente en las familias que han decidido acoger voluntariamente en sus hogares a personas refugiadas, quienes huyen de sus lugares de origen por culpa de la guerra o de crisis humanitarias.\n\nLa guerra de Siria, en concreto, ha provocado que más de 5,5 millones de personas deban abandonar sus hogares y buscar lugares más seguros, casi siempre en los países vecinos como Jordania, Irak, Líbano o Turquía.\n\nTambién en Europa se han registrado ejemplos de acogida de personas que en medio de este tipo de crisis lo han perdido todo, dejando toda una historia de vida en sus lugares de origen. Estos casos son un claro ejemplo de solidaridad, empatía, altruismo, humanismo y sensibilidad social de los que todos deberíamos tomar nota.\n\nAdemás, ahora también puedes ayudar a los refugiados con un regalo de boda solidario el día de tu enlace matrimonial, un regalo muy diferente y gratificante a la vez.",

      "body": "![](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmPjndzyKaL6bJx9H76KvCnyp8bdYHz8PfbjA1YeebmK2t/image.png)\n\nDecálogo para ser un buen ciudadano\n\n\nEste artículo te dará pautas para ser mejor ciudadano, toma en cuenta que el primer pasó es la autoevaluación y la voluntad de esforzarte.\n\nCada día debemos esforzarnos en conseguir un mejor país, objetivo que  solo  lo lograremos si todos nos comprometemos en aportar un granito de arena, no importa lo pequeño que sea y desde donde lo hagamos.\n\nSi solo cumpliéramos con nuestras responsabilidades de cuidar el medio ambiente, cultivar los valores cívicos, respetáramos las creencias, los derechos humanos, protegiéramos los animales, rechazáramos la violencia, cumpliéramos con nuestras obligaciones, levantáramos la voz para exigir, participáramos en el desarrollo de nuestra comunidad y valoráramos a los demás, de seguro que viviríamos de manera diferente.\n\nA continuación dejamos en tus manos estas diez normas generales de convivencia.\n\n1. Cuida el Medio Ambiente\n\nCualquier cosa es inútil si no hay un planeta donde vivir. No basta con que no cortes un árbol, sino que debes sembrar más, ya que entre el 25 y 30 por ciento del dióxido de carbono que se emite a la atmósfera proviene de la deforestación.\n\nConsume menos energía en tu casa, oficina y automóvil; no tires desechos en la calle y genera la menor cantidad de basura, realizando compras verdes, bajo el principio de las tres erres: reducir, rehusar y reciclar.\n\n2. Cultiva Valores Cívicos\n\nLa mejor manera de lograr una buena calidad de vida en una sociedad es a través de valores cívicos, como el respeto, la tolerancia y el apego a la ley.\n\nPracticas estos valores cuando eres abierto y optas por el diálogo antes que por el conflicto. La tolerancia se logra al tener disposición para la comunicación con los demás y respeto por la libertad de pensamiento.\n\n3. Respeta las Creencias\n\nLa Constitución establece que está prohibida toda discriminación a las creencias de los demás, cualesquiera que éstas sean.\n\nTodas tienen derecho a practicar su fe sin ser discriminadas, juzgadas o condenadas. También debes respetar el derecho de quienes no creen en nada.\n\n4. Derechos Humanos\n\nProcura que los gobiernos y autoridades respeten los Derechos Humanos que protegen, entre otras cosas, la vida, dignidad, libertad e igualdad.\n\nConstruye en tu entorno una cultura de paz y respeto, transformando las relaciones inmaduras y jerárquicas en maduras e igualitarias; coopera en vez de competir destructivamente y busca el bien común en lugar de sólo el bien propio.\n\n5. Protege a los Animales\n\nLas especies son parte fundamental del ecosistema. Si tienes mascotas, tu obligación va más allá de alimentarlas y darles un techo. Acciones como limpiar sus desechos, educarlas y esterilizarlas contribuyen a su protección.\n\n6. Rechaza la Violencia\n\nLa violencia genera más violencia, destruye comunidades que conviven en armonía y pone en riesgo la vida e integridad física de las personas. Si eres violento, debes buscar ayuda.\n\nSi eres testigo de violencia debes denunciarla. Puedes hacerlo en las Unidades de Atención y Prevención de la Violencia Familiar.\n\n7. Cumple tus Obligaciones\n\nLa ética es básica porque con ella se establecen acuerdos para una sana convivencia y la construcción de sociedades justas a través de las normas. Cuando no cumples las reglas, se rompe el tejido social. Por eso hay que ser respetuoso al conducir y no invadir lugares para personas con discapacidad, por ejemplo.\n\n8. Levanta la Voz y Exige\n\nNo sólo se trata de elegir a las autoridades: hay que vigilarlas; si no se vigilan, se corrompen. Exígeles que cumplan las metas específicas previamente acordadas.\n\nLa Ley de Libre Acceso a la Información le ha dado al ciudadano una herramienta poderosa para exigir cuentas a sus gobernantes. En todos los portales del Gobierno hay una opción para que pidas información. Parte de la obligación ciudadana es denunciar las irregularidades y, aunque a veces hay temor, también hay que alzar la voz.\n\n9. Participa\n\nAdemás de ser exigente con la autoridad, debes ser copartícipe y corresponsable de lo que pasa en tu barrio. La participación ciudadana está incluida en el Plan Nacional de Desarrollo como una forma de llegar a la democracia efectiva.\n\nLa participación también incluye tener tu cédula actualizada y acudir a las urnas para elegir a los gobernantes.\n\n10. Valora al Otro\n\nEste es el principio del que se parte: la convicción de que cada quien tiene algo que dar y algo que hacer.
