Words are difficult to gather and I ask for some leniency if this comes off the wrong way or my point is not clear enough. \n\nUpfront, all I can say is anyone who posts war videos showing humans being captured or worse, dying, is an asshole. \n\nHow many of us remember the videos out of Somalia during the famous Blackhawk Down incident when the bodies of two American service members were dragged through the streets? \n\nRemember the outrage over Al Jazeera when they aired terrorist home videos of Americans being captured and the members of Blackwater who were brutally killed in an ambush later scorched and hung on a bridge in Falluja. \n\nWhat about Ambassador Chris Stevens in Benghazi? \n\nAll the aforementioned events had locals videotape the atrocities.  Unfortunately, the American media helped spread the enemy’s propaganda. \n\nToday, new video has surfaced pertaining the US Servicemembers ambushed in Niger. \n\nI expect American media to release these videos as the American media is a shit-show in and of itself caring only about ratings. \n\nBut what infuriates me most is knowing at least two US Military Owned and Operated Veteran organizations released this video—uncut. \n\nYes, these two organizations posted the video where their alleged “brother’s in arms” were seen for the very last time—alive—taking their last breaths. But worse, their faces were clear as day allowing the family members to actually see these videos as well. \n\nSome would argue that this should not be a big deal considering how violent video games and movies and television has become. \n\nLet me counter by saying video games, movies, and television is not real life. \n\nPeople are watching these videos as if they are watching a scene from a war movie. \n\nSorry, Tom Hanks didn’t really die in Saving Private Ryan—he is alive and well. \n\nBut, folks like those killed overseas really are dead. They were our brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, mothers, fathers, etc. And, their families suffer daily with their loss. \n\nBut how any military/veteran organization can release these videos of their own brothers in arms baffles me considering the biggest excuse I have seen to date pertains to a nice fat CYOA explaining the release was for the public to obtain some lessons learned. \n\nThere are no lessons learned considering we do not get to see the full scope of the operation so that excuse is null and void. And yes, I am calling you on your bullshit considering such individuals damn well know they released same for click bait, wishing to cause controversy, capitalizing on the loss of some of their own. \n\n(Of notes, I am not mentioning the two organizations who released these videos because the last thing I want to do is give them any more publicity which is EXACTLY what they are looking for) \n\nSimply put, there are no excuses and no need to release such videos. \n\nBut hey, lets release them anyway so some kid can get so desensitized to human life, he goes into his school and shoots up the place.",

Simply put, my job strictly involved physical security operations. Not only did I conduct these operations, I taught them. &nbsp;</p>\n<p>America has been stricken with violence since its inception as a nation. But contrary to popular belief, our violent culture is not necessarily one of a “gun culture.” <br>\n<br>\nPer capita, The United States has fewer guns then any time in our history—again, per capita. &nbsp;<br>\n<img src=\"https://images.huffingtonpost.com/2015-05-21-1432225070-1642674-vpcnorcgraphicone-thumb.jpg\" width=\"570\" height=\"284\"/><br>\n<br>\nAnd our violence is not necessarily one saturated around guns. <br>\n<br>\nIn fact, some arguable studies have claimed that<a href=\"http://dailycaller.com/2016/01/05/gun-control-owners-criminals/\"> guns have saved more lives than actually take</a>. (Of note, the statistics in these reports are not conclusive)<br>\n<br>\n<a href=\"https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2016/crime-in-the-u.s.-2016/tables/table-12\">According to the FBI</a>, in 2016 alone 1,604 people were killed by knives while only 374 people were killed by a rile. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nIf we understand the term violence, we should note that in <a href=\"https://www.cbsnews.com/news/opioids-drug-overdose-killed-more-americans-last-year-than-the-vietnam-war/\">2016, more Americans died by opiate overdoses</a> than the those who perished from the entire Vietnam war. And, in <a href=\"http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4015536/A-grim-tally-soars-More-50-000-overdose-deaths-US.html\">2017, 50,000 Americans died by heroin overdoses</a>. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<a href=\"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motor_vehicle_fatality_rate_in_U.S._by_year\">In 2016, 37,461 Americans died in car crashes</a>. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nYes, America is one violent place. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nBut the one place we need to attempt to reduce our violence is in our schools. <br>\n<br>\nInterestingly, we actually have done that over the years. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<a href=\"https://www.usnews.com/news/politics/articles/2017-07-27/report-school-violence-bullying-down-in-us-public-schools\">Education Department's National Center for Education Statistics</a> concluded in a recent report that the rate of violent incidents in middle schools dropped from 40 incidents per 1,000 students in the 2009-2010 school year to 27 incidents in 2015-2016. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nUnfortunately, even with the decline in violence within our schools, we maintain a very dangerous situation as seen recently in Columbine, Sandy Hook, and now Parkland. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nMany people believe stricter gun control is the answer and they may actually be right. Others believe there is no need for stricter gun control but rather better enforcement within the pre-existing gun control policies and they too may be right. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nI am not here to debate the gun control dilemma. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nWhat I am here is to explain a very simple concept that virtually every physical security specialist understands and that is sector defense. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nFirst and foremost, I am against current lock-down procedures founded in many schools across the nation. <br>\n<br>\nI would much rather see the “Run, Hide, Fight” principle. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<strong>The “Run, Hide, Fight” principle is very simple. </strong><br>\n<br>\n<em><strong>Run</strong></em>—if you have the opportunity to escape, do it. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<em><strong>Hide</strong></em>—if the opportunity to escape does not exist, find the best cover and concealment possible and take advantage of it. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<em><strong>Fight</strong></em>—if your cover and concealment is no longer doing its intent in protecting you, you must find it in yourself to fight. &nbsp;Now, if we understand the “Run, Hide, Fight” principle, we should take it a step farther in how this can be accomplished to the greatest success possible within a school setting. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Understanding Sectors.</strong> <br>\n<br>\nThe vast majority of schools across the nation have multiple hallways and multiple floors. &nbsp;A single active shooter cannot sweep and clear and destroy every single hallway and floor no matter their firearm of choice. <br>\n<br>\nHowever, what if the school had a plan to lock down the location/sector where the shooter was physically located ie the hallway or classroom? &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nThose students and staff who are not in the lock-down sector can and should be on the “Run,” exiting the facility. Those who were locked down in the same sector as the shooter are now in the hide phase of “Run, Hide, Fight.” <br>\n<br>\nBut how dare we lock our precious cargo in with a deranged killer? &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nHere is when we discuss “stashing.” &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\n<strong>Understanding “Stashing.”</strong> <br>\n<br>\nStashing is described as storing something safely and secretly in a secured place. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nPersonally, I do not believe every single teacher across America should be armed. However, that does not mean teachers should not have access to tools that can safeguard themselves and their peers and students. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nIf I were in a recommendation capacity for any school district or government body discussing this dilemma today, I would make the recommendation that schools maintain stash sights. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nThese stash sights would have weapons in them and those weapons would not be pistols but collapsible AR/M-4 style weapons. The sights would not be in every classroom but some may be while others may be in say, storage closest, or other pre-designated locations—and, they would be secured with fingerprint detection locking mechanisms on the actual doors to the stash sights themselves. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nIn these stash sights would not just be weapon systems but also medical kits specifically designed for treating gun shot patients—gauze, tourniquets, &nbsp;chest seals, tape, quick clot, etc. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nBut who would have access to these stash sights? Not everyone. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nThose with access would be volunteers who would quarterly training in medical first aid along with weapon familiarization and proficiency training. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nIt is these individuals would be responsible to take the fight to the active shooter in the “Run, Hide, Fight” concept. <br>\n<br>\nIt would be these individuals who would fight and provide the needed time for students to exfil out of the sector under attack. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nBut you said the sector would be locked down. <br>\n<br>\nYes, the sector would be locked down however, I noted I am not a fan of lock-down procedures as most schools who implemented same do. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nEven under a lock-down, students need an escape option. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nThe escape option may be as simple as going through a window. <br>\n<br>\nBut more technical, maybe that escape option is an access point of escape from an opposite doorway which could be manually unlocked. <br>\n<br>\nEither way, the option must be present to escape the kill-zone. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nWhy? <br>\n<br>\nBecause in truth, the “Run, Hide, Fight” principle should not be a strict stand-alone concept forcing individuals to pick one of the three and sticking to that specified principle. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nYou may have the means to run but at one point, maybe there is another shooter which you identify and now must hide. <br>\n<br>\nMaybe that shooter walks past you and you find and opening to run again. <br>\n<br>\nMake sense? <br>\n<br>\nOf course, I am not in a position to have anyone take any of these recommendations and go with them as the concepts described within constitute much more depth of understanding. Nor should anyone take this information and attempt to institute same without professional consolation from a true no bullshit physical security specialist. &nbsp;<br>\n<br>\nThat which has been written within are simply my own recommendations for others to read and debate. <br>\n<br>\nBut truth is, if I ever was in a position to create formal recommendations to any school, I would highly encourage them to consider such. &nbsp;&nbsp;</p>\n</html>",

They have their own insight and value however like everyone in the crypto space, no one has all the answers so its critical diversifying your knowledge base. And, personally, I appreciate both YouTubers.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>But where or HOW did this all start?
