It is great to think bitcoin is back on it's feet and looking healthy. However, this run up can't last forever. When will it end? From a technical point of view, I see this as a profit taking opportunity. We are currently sitting right under the $9.3k resistance. We had a brief break out above it, but it quickly got rejected. we are seeing a retest of this level, and I don't think it'll hold up. The MacD is a momentum indicator and on the daily chart it is almost crossing to the downside indicating a possible retrace. 90% of people lose money in this market, that's because 90% of people react on emotions. When things look good they buy, and when things look bad they sell. You want to think the opposite of the herd. At the very least, right now is not the best time to buy. We are looking for a pull back. If it does happen to break out above 9.8k. My Idea becomes invalidated. It went from $12k all the way to $7k. A lot of people were bullish when bitcoin reached it's high of 12k. But I wasn't.  In my last post I warned people about this big drop two weeks ago. I had said that it's most likely to fall if it broke $10.5k, and $9.3k for safer measures. My prediction came true. Now, where do I think bitcoin is likely to go?\n\nTo start, we are still on a down trend. It is clear that Bitcoin has not yet broken out of it's bear market. The $1700 dollar move from 7.3k has gotten people to have hope. Hope is not how you invest. What we want to see is actual confirmation it'll keep going up. Don't get suckered into these small rallies. So, where should we buy and sell?\n\n#### The good:\nBitcoin had a nice $1700 dollar run up in the last couple days. A pullback was expected to happen around the $9.3k level. How far will the pullback go? Some people think $8.3k. That is a possible level for reversal. Anywhere from $7.8k to $8.3k is a good area to buy for a short term trade with a target at $9.8k. Bitcoin could go above $9.8k, but it's less likely to do so. Until we see Bitcoin break $11k I do not feel like holding Bitcoin is a good idea. If Bitcoin were to break $10.5 - 11k I expect it to test the $12.5k level. A break above $12.5k will bring Bitcoin out of it's bear market and holders can now stop panicking. Until this happens, we are in a bear market and holding is risky. \n\n\n#### The Bad: \nWe saw Bitcoin have a fall from $11.8k all the way to $7.3k in the last 2 weeks. A run up of $1000 dollars in the last couple days hardly seems like anything if we look at the broader scheme of things. However, I don't expect this run up to die off just yet. It looks like Bitcoin will be retracing to $7.8k. I am looking for Bitcoin to hold up here. If not, I am expecting to see Bitcoin fall to 6.8k - 7.3k. A break below 6.8k will be really bearish for Bitcoin and a retest of 6k will come into play. 6k is a level Bitcoin has to hold up, but I fear at this time it would be unlikely if Bitcoin came to retest this level. A short term bounce is expected though and an intra-day trading move could be done. \n\nFor now, I only see this as a day trading opportunity, not a holding one. Patience is key in the market. A 1700 dollar run up is hardly nothing compared to the last couple months. Don't get suckered into buying at a high for a holding position. Holding on a bear market is one of the hardest things to do. Unless you are willing to lose 50% of your holdings if you buy and hold now, you shouldn't be buying. Follow a trading plan and money management plan.  The best investors in the world don't go into a market without some type of strategy, why should you be any different? You all deserve the best. It went from 12k all the way to 7k. A lot of people were bullish when bitcoin reached it's high of 12k. But I wasn't.  In my last post I warned people about this big drop two weeks ago. I had said that it's most likely to fall if it broke 10.5k, and 9.3k for safer measures. My prediction came true. Now, where do I think bitcoin is likely to go?\n\nTo start, we are still on a down trend. It is clear that Bitcoin has not yet broken out of it's bear market. The $1000 dollar move from 7.3k has gotten people to have hope. Hope is not how you invest. What we want to see is actual confirmation it'll keep going up. Don't get suckered into these small rallies. So, where should we buy and sell?\n\n#### The good:\nBitcoin had a nice $1700 dollar run up in the last couple days. A pullback was expected to happen around the $9.3k level. How far will the pullback go? Some people think $8.3k. That is a possible level for reversal. Anywhere from $7.8k to $8.3k is a good area to buy for a short term trade with a target at $9.8k. Bitcoin could go above $9.8k, but it's less likely to do so. Until we see Bitcoin break $11k I do not feel like holding Bitcoin is a good idea. If Bitcoin were to break $10.5 to 11k I expect it to test the $12.5k level. A break above $12.5k will bring Bitcoin out of it's bear market and holders can now stop panicking. Until this happens, we are in a bear market and holding is risky. \n\n\n#### The Bad: \nWe saw Bitcoin have a fall from $11.8k all the way to $7.3k in the last 2 weeks. A run up of $1000 dollars in the last couple days hardly seems like anything if we look at the broader scheme of things. However, I don't expect this run up to die off just yet. It looks like Bitcoin will be retracing to $7.8k. I am looking for Bitcoin to hold up here. If not, I am expecting to see Bitcoin fall to 6.8k - 7.3k. A break below 6.8k will be really bearish for Bitcoin and a retest of 6k will come into play. 6k is a level Bitcoin has to hold up, but I fear at this time it would be unlikely if Bitcoin came to retest this level. A short term bounce is expected though and an intra-day trading move could be done. \n\nFor now, I only see this as a day trading opportunity, not a holding one. Patience is key in the market. A 1700 dollar run up is hardly nothing compared to the last couple months. Don't get suckered into buying at a high for a holding position. Holding on a bear market is one of the hardest things to do. Unless you are willing to lose 50% of your profits if you buy and hold now, you shouldn't be buying. Follow a trading plan and money management plan.  The best investors in the world don't go into a market without some type of strategy, why should you be any different? You all deserve the best. I have been very accurate with my predictions. I may give a broad speculative perspective, but I do say which way Bitcoin is more likely to head and I have yet to be wrong. I told people to buy at $6k instead of $8k.  I told people to buy at $9k when it had a break out. I told people sell at $11k and re-buy back at $9.5k. Anyone who followed my posts exactly sold near the top and bought near the bottom. While, I don't expect to be this accurate all the time, It does say something about my track record. Why am I boasting about myself? Because my view has slightly changed on bitcoin. I was more bullish 3 weeks ago (not truly bullish), but I thought bitcoin had a good chance to break out of it's downtrend. I still think there's a chance it might, but not as much as before. We just saw bitcoin fail to break out of the head and shoulders pattern. A lot of volume came in when bitcoin failed. This is a bad sign. Right now is not the time to get into bitcoin if you are on the side lines. It's like a 50-50 gamble, we need to wait for more confirmation to be truly bullish or bearish. So, what are we looking for? \n\n### The Good: \nTo be bullish, we need to break above $12.5k with a lot of volume. Volume is very much needed to confirm that bitcoin is truly out of it's bear trend. This is when we can start thinking about new highs. Until that happens, bitcoin is in a bear trend which makes trading risky. Bitcoin is currently sitting at $10.6k, this is near the 20 SMA. bitcoin has bounced off this spot already in the last week. This makes it a possible reversal zone to keep the momentum going. I expect a short term bounce at the least, but to see this bounce to be truly good it would need to break the high of $11.8k. This would likely bring in buyers and a chance to break out of $12.5k will come in play. If bitcoin breaks below 9k, it is very likely to go to the green uptrend line around $6.5k to $7k. This is a potential reversal area, and I expect a short-term bounce. This would be a good area to do an intra-day move, but I fear the market won't keep this level. After failing to break 12.5k so many times, it might panic sell further. This may cause the price to break to $5k, and possibly even $3k. I believe that is more likely than it reversing at the green uptrend line for good. However, that is if we break that low, we are still in a good area. A break below $10.6k will likely cause bitcoin to fall to $9.8k. And a break below $9.8k is when I might start worrying. If you know how to short bitcoin, you can still make money. We need to wait for more confirmation that the price will keep increasing. A good indication that bitcoin will go to new highs is when it breaks the red downtrend line. This level currently sits at $10,650 today. A break above the red downtrend line and a successful retest of this line will likely bring in a lot of buyers. With this volume confirmation, it would be a really good sign for bitcoin. This is great area to buy. Now, that doesn't mean we'll be going to new highs, but it does mean we  can reduce our risk a lot when the chance comes to break out of the $12.5k resistance. Lots of people thought Bitcoin was about to go above $12,000 and bought at the high of $11,250+. This is from rushed decision making. It briefly broke the red downtrend line (which gave bullish signals), but we were looking for a close above that on the day. That did not happen. Anyone who followed my last post would have sold some of their trading positions at $11,000 to $11,250. Now, where will Bitcoin go from here? Is it booming down for good? I am here to say this is a much needed correction for the continuation of the bull. Could it be the start of it going back to 8.5k or 6k? It is possible, but I think that scenario is less likely. I believe if Bitcoin breaks below the red 200 SMA on the hourly chart, it is likely to go back to  9.5k. This is a good buying price, $9.5k is a strong support for Bitcoin. If Bitcoin can bounce, we'll be looking for a possible Head and Shoulders pattern. This pattern could take Bitcoin back to $15k, and possibly even $20k if it plays out. Does that mean you should buy soon and go all in? No! No one should ever go all in at one level. Do some studying and follow a trading plan. Never take all your money out at one level or put it all in at another. This will cause people to lose lots of money in the long run. I do believe the bull is going to continue. However, If we were to see Bitcoin drop below $9.5k, the level I am looking at is $8.4k. This is where I suspect the bottom will have to be for the BULL to continue. A break below this level would not be a good sign for Bitcoin and it could cause panic selling. A retest of the 6k would occur, and a possible outcome of 5k and even 3k could be at play. Remember, we are still under the down trend line and there is major resistance at $12.5k. Lots of people thought Bitcoin was about to go above $12,000 and bought at the high of $11,250+. This is from rushed decision making. It briefly broke the red downtrend line (which gave bullish signals), but we were looking for a close above that on the day. That did not happen. Anyone who followed my last post would have sold some of their trading positions at $11,000 to $11,250. Now, where will Bitcoin go from here? Is it booming down for good? I am here to say this is a much needed correction for the continuation of the bull. Could it be the start of it going back to 8.5k or 6k? It is possible, but I think that scenario is less likely. I believe if Bitcoin breaks below the red 200 SMA on the hourly chart, it is likely to go back to  9.5k. This is a good buying price, $9.5k is a strong support for Bitcoin. If Bitcoin can bounce, we'll be looking for a possible Head and Shoulders pattern. This pattern could take Bitcoin back to $15k, and possibly even $20k if it plays out. Does that mean you should buy soon and go all in? No! No one should ever go all in at one level. Do some studying and follow a trading plan. Never take all your money out at one level or put it all in at another. This will cause people to lose lots of money in the long run. I do believe the bull is going continue. However, If we were to see Bitcoin drop below $9.5k, the level I am looking at is $8.4k. This is where I suspect the bottom will have to be for the BULL to continue. A break below this level would not be a good sign for Bitcoin and it could cause panic selling. A retest of the 6k would occur, and a possible outcome of 5k and even 3k could be at play. Remember, we are still under the down trend line and there is major resistance at $12.5k.       "body": "Great Advice! Any long term holdings should be money you are willing to lose 100%. All these people selling are either traders or the ones that put too much money in crypto. If you believe in the tech, just hold. Otherwise, trade and buy back at lower prices. Though, if you are new to trading that'll be hard. I don't advise anyone to trade unless they want to learn to trade professionally. Almost all new traders lose money. Takes years to develop the skills needed to be profitable.
