Whenever I go this long without posting, I feel the need to check in with you. A lot has happened in my journey as an expat. If you dont know me and arent sure what Im talking about, check out my profile and scroll through—take a look at my latest posts, where I think I go into quite a bit of detail, or you can find everything on my YouTube channel.\n\nAnyway, to cut to the chase, Ill tell you that we have a place—as they say in Spain, meaning were paying for a place to live as long as we have the money to pay for it, unless we become squatters, but thats a topic for another time.\nThe thing is, Im a little happy; I feel like Ive found that peace again that used to let me write on Hive every day. I say a little happy because the pressure of having to pay for a roof over my head is something I dont really like, and it was either that or having to keep living with my dad and my stepmom—which is also a topic for another time.\n\nAnd well, as you can see, I have a lot to tell you, but the best part is that now at least I have the space to do it—and I think the time, too—so lets start with some photos I took throughout this whole process every time I escaped to recharge my batteries in nature. I hope you like them.",

Surprisingly this trail doubled as a horse trail as well, and sure enough, a group of trail riders came down right past me. Then I thought, maybe I ought to grab a few pics of the horses? But in the rush that I was in to grab my camera, I was only able to get one “out of focus” pic. I’ll post it here anyways, something is better than nothing I suppose.       "body": "Back in 2021 I spend a lot of time during spring photographing birds and other animals. At the Weikerlsee near Linz I was able to take a lot of pictures of birds that live there. One of these birds species is the Goosander. They prefer water that is not so much moving like in a river especially when the children are still young.\n\nThe goosanders are more or less common here and from time to time I get to see one or two birds. During spring it is possible to find a family like this on ponds and lakes. As usual, today I'm exploring a small forest to look for small animal species. The forest I visited has small swamps and thickets growing abundantly in this small forest.\nAnd when I arrived there I immediately walked and looked for where they were. On this occasion, I want to share a couple of photographs of a particularly beautiful sunrise that I witnessed while moving through the city.\n\nI had woken up very early in the morning to go train several of my students who are passionate about calisthenics. To reach the bar park where we usually meet, I had to cross a relatively high bridge. This spot is personally one of my favorite places because it offers an unobstructed view of the horizon. As I was walking across, my attention was powerfully drawn to how the sunlight was struggling to pierce through the dense cloud formations during the sunrise.\n\nThe resulting effect was a sky colored in a very intense yellow tone. The scene was quite dramatic, and the soft, early light made everything appear with a different level of detail. I decided to stop and take a moment to capture it. The way the light rebounded off the wet pavement—since it had been raining earlier—and the metal surfaces of the light poles and surrounding railings was particularly captivating. The texture of the artificial materials contrasted against the organic and vibrant light of the sky.\n\nThese brief moments of transition between night and day always offer a fresh perspective on the urban environment. Taking these photos didn't delay me much, but it allowed me to appreciate the surroundings before starting the intense training session. I simply wanted to document that specific atmospheric condition and the warm colors that dominated the morning. I hope the images reflect the stillness and the unique light that characterized that early hour.",
