Vyrazila jsem tam na víkend, abych si užila přírodu a termální prameny, a protože jsem chtěla ušetřit za letenky, využila jsem webové stránky [ryanair letenky](https://ryanairlety.cz/) , kde jsem našla levné letenky z Prahy a dokázala si užít úžasnou dovolenou, aniž bych utratila příliš mnoho peněz, stránky byly darem z nebes a nyní je vždy kontroluji při plánování nových cest.",

Od Montevidea až do Chuy - město na hranicích mezi Uruguayí a Brazílií.**\nAs I was living in Uruguay when I bought my kombi, the first roadtrip was planned along the Uruguayan coast. Dřív jsem si pronajala auto a vyjela na týden teď jsem měla víc jak dva měsíce (letní prázdniny a jako učitelka na škole jsem mívala celé léto volno). Být jak dlouho chci kde chci a s ubytováním zdarma, byla ta nejlepší senzace.**\nWe crossed through almost all the cities on the coast and the best thing about the whole experience was the freedom. Before I used to rent a car and go for only one week, now I had more than two months (summer holiday and as a school teacher I used to have the whole summer free). Od Montevidea do Punta del Este se jedná o řeku (nejširší řeka na světě) a ta se pak vlývá do Atlantického oceánu.** \nUruguay is a beautiful country and the coast is amazing. O to víc jsme měli tu možnost strávic víc času v malých městech při cestě.** \nThe whole journey is only 330km one way. I had no idea what it will be like living (yes, the idea was to give up my apartment and move into the van to live there full time) and travelling non-stop with probably not having a stable job.\n\nNo idea. What or how to do so. But the feelings in the guts were so strong. My inner voice was loud. And I just head straight went for it.\n\n*O mekanice a autech obecně jsem nic nevěděla. Netušila jsem, jaké to bude žít (ano, myšlenka byla vzdát se bytu a přestěhovat se do dodávky, abych tam mohla žít na plno) a cestovat bez přestání s tím, že pravděpodobně nebudu mít stabilní práci.*\n\n*Neměla jsem tušení jak to udělat. Ale něco mi říkalo že tohle je správná volba. Můj vnitřní hlas křičel nahlas \"Jdi do toho!\". I've travelled Uruguayan and Brasilian coast and now I'm in the south of Argentina - at the end of the world, in Ushuaia going to travel the whole American continent.\nThere is no way back. VanLife it is.\n\n*O rok a půl později ničeho nelituji. Bylo to jedno z nejlepších rozhodnutí v mém životě. Procestovala jsem Uruguayské a brazilské pobřeží a nyní jsem na jihu Argentiny - na konci světa, v Ushuaii, s plánem procestovat celý americký kontinent.\nNení cesty zpět. Well, for me it is the possibility of not being restricted by any outside force and having the possibility to do what one wants when one wants, meaning, not only that I can eat what I want when I want or watch a movie I want when I want but also that if I decide to take holidays for three weeks no employer or anyone can stop me from doing so and of course the freedom of travelling wherever I want. It has always been hard for me to understand and accept that one cannot travel because a job won’t let them. Especially for someone who lives far away from their family. I’ve met people who haven’t been to their home country for many years because they just aren’t allowed to take more than two weeks of holidays at work…I couldn’t accept that. That just simply didn’t make any sense to me. Are we sacrificing our freedom to a job where we are so easily replaceable? Yes, I get it, the job pays our bills, without a job we wouldn’t be able to afford a roof above our heads, pay for our favourite memberships, schools for children, food, etc…It’s cool if one is the boss of their own time and can manage their own time. Don’t take me wrong though. I was happy with my job. Teaching is a fulfilling profession and in Uruguay, they have 3 months summer holiday! So, with all the holidays throughout the school year and then 3 months of holiday in a row, I had nothing to complain about. Just the salary, since I was paid per hour, meaning that I didn’t receive any salary during any holidays. I should appreciate such an opportunity and as I said, the job was nice. Many many people have far fewer days off during the year and are much more confined to their working desks. But it’s not about who’s got what and who is in the better situation. Life is not about comparing with others. \nI felt for myself, that just wasn’t it. And since we live in the times of “pursuing your dreams”, and “fulfilling your purpose”, I obviously had to follow the trend. \nHowever, it is important not to forget that happiness comes from within. So, doesn’t matter where one is or who one is with. If one is not happy with themselves and within themselves, they are just simply not happy. \nSo, once again, I was very grateful and loved the place I lived in, my surroundings, the mesmerizing sunrises and beach walks, the inspiring job and the great work team. I was happy and knew that I just need something a little bit different, so when I look back 20 years later I don’t feel like I lost a chance at doing something truly meaningful to me. \nFreedom of mind is the most important form of freedom out of all and yet the most difficult to maintain. I work remotely and give English workshops at English institutes about living as a nomad. I can’t imagine living differently, at least for now.\nI miss some of my friends and it gets difficult when the family is so far away (yes, the full freedom of travelling literally wherever and whenever I want is still limited due to lack of finances). But I wouldn’t change it for anything. There is no way back. Nomad life it is.\nBut that doesn’t mean that suddenly all has been solved, I feel fulfilled and that’s it. My lifestyle fulfills me. I do feel like I’m on the right path, which is something I wasn’t so sure of when living in a static place. I lived there 5 and half years, first 3 years in west England taking care of kids then moving to London for more adrenalin. But after a while it got all just monotone. It wasn't really different to what I lived in the Czech republic - having a job to pay rent. Even though my job was very flexible. In London I worked as a hospitality assistant, working at different events, meeting royalty and celebrities. Every day I worked at different location seeing places where one has to pay entrance or get invitation otherwise. I chose where and when to work. I loved my job and can't say I was bored. I had a great time but it was also not easy - more expensive than London!!! And sooo cold in winter. But summer was amazing! I knew I would need something new sooner or later.\nSo I spent 2 years working my ass out, saving and saving up, and researching all about kombis and living vanlife.\nPandemic hit and it somehow helped me. I didn't have to be sad about not being able to go out to see people and as all classes went virtual working from the comfort of home turned into something so comfortable that I can't imagine ever going back to any office.\nI saved up just about what was needed for a basically converted van (had bed and a cooker). Broke up with my boyfriend and head towards new adventures.\nSomething completely new. Continuing working the first year of travel remotely but giving up on an address and a \"base\".\nOnce again I felt nervous and excited. But my gut was telling me that this is what I absolutely should be doing . I had no idea how to do it, what it will be like, knew nothing about engines but was sure that this is what I must do now.\n\nIt's been one year and a half I've been travelling. Or what do I THINK it was? \nI've always knew I wanted to live abroad, to travel, see the world.\n\"There must be more to it than \"just\" going to a college, a university, getting married, having kids and they devote the life to the kids, most likely get divorced, enjoy the grandchildren and then, hopefully surrounded by the loved ones, die.\" I thought to myself when I was a teenager about to finish my high school.\nI'm not saying it's wrong or that I have something against that. I lived there 5 and half years, first 3 years in west England taking care of kids then moving to London for more adrenalin. But after a while it got all just monotone. It wasn't really different to what I lived in the Czech republic - having a job to pay rent. Even though my job was very flexible. In London I worked as a hospitality assistant, working at different events, meeting royalty and celebrities. Every day I worked at different location seeing places where one has to pay entrance or get invitation otherwise. I chose where and when to work. I loved my job and can't say I was bored. I had a great time but it was also not easy - more expensive than London!!! And sooo cold in winter. But summer was amazing! People convert it into motorhomes. It cheaper. \nI love driving. This way I could traveled nonstop and with my dog! \nSo?\nWhy not!\nThis decision actually came after 3 years of living in Uruguay. I knew I would need something new sooner or later.\nSo I spent 2 years working my ass out, saving and saving up, and researching all about kombis and living vanlife.\nPandemic hit and it somehow helped me. I didn't have be sad about not being able to go out to see people and as all classes went virtual working from the comfort of home turned into something so comfortable that I can't imagine ever going back to any office.\nI saved up just about what van needed for a basically converted van (had bed and a cooker). Broke up with my boyfriend and head towards new adventures.\nSomething completely new. Continuing working the first year of travel remotely but giving up on an address and a \"base\".\nOnce again I felt nervous and excited. But my gut was telling me that this is what I absolutely should be doing . I had no idea how to do it, what it will be like, knew nothing about engines but was sure that this is what I must do now.\n\nIt's been one year and a half I've been travelling.
