The conflict is real especially when we internalize these rules and moral codes. Having sexual urges and still being in a community that is against pre-marital sex is a perfect example of this dynamic struggle. This also applies to other drives like aggression, need for superiority, jealousy, envy and many more; they clash with societal and moral rules, conduct and codes. Worse is even the religions with their doctrines and dogmas, they try to push it down the throats of young ones with the sole purpose of growing the right way to become better youths and leaders of tomorrow or just to grow in the way of the lord, their creator. How does one survive this struggle? Pleasing one’s desires would mean breaking the laid down conducts. I am pretty much faced with this probing situation daily and so are many others, what can be done?\n\nGrowing up as a child in a Christian family, it was easier to keep up with what the society and church wanted from me – to be good. They made me believe that being good and doing the right things by avoiding wrongs, would make me have peace with my soul. The ball game changed when I became aware of my urges and the satisfaction I felt with fulfilling those urges coupled with the guilt thereafter, that one of the moral conducts have been bridged by my incessant need to explore. My lustful desires burning up with so much hunger to be fed while the psychic structure Sigmund Freud referred to as Super-ego tries so hard to fight against such desire. This makes me doubt the existence of my faith sometimes. What if there is no god, no place to be sent for eternal suffering and punishment for failing to keep up good moral conduct while on earth, a place called hell, what if it is non-existent? What if there is no heaven, a place that Christians believe is a reward for living righteously while on earth, what if it is non-existent? It could be that we have just this life to live, no one after, all punishment and rewards could be given here on earth, so why don’t I just live this life to the fullest, not caring about laws and morals. The dynamic struggle between my ID and Super-ego results in so many thoughts.\n\nhttps://i.postimg.cc/DzK1t7zF/silhouette-1321399-1920.png\nThe rate of atrocities in the world grows concurrently with the increase in churches. What some Christians are capable of these days are things unheard of. Though we are striving for perfection, which is one of the reasons for the existence of the church, so we can rub minds with one another like they say “Iron sharpens Iron”. This just shows that everyone goes through or experiences this struggle. Those that could not resist withholding theirs, and is been caught in the open, are termed bad and immoral while those that are lucky enough not to be caught are seen as good. The truth is, we all got our skeletons locked up in the cupboard.\n\nI am a sole believer of the saying “Do what makes you happy”. I feel the struggle between doing what we feel like and what is considered wrong in our conscience. Once our conscience feels guilty about that which has been done, then we should probably not engage in such. We should try to repress urges that are considered immoral to the mind and focus on things or skills that would serve as a distraction and also play a pivotal role in the increase of our abilities. It was more like a ‘forward ever _ backward never’.  Well! The past year has been full of surprises as the mighty Bitcoin was humbled, though still the most valuable coin. Bitcoin fell as low as below $3500 in 2018 and was on the rise as at the beginning of 2019. This seemed like a new year present to the community but then, it is heartbreaking to know that bitcoin is on the red again. \n\nThough seems like the best time to acquire bitcoin, investors are unsure and are looking for better alternatives irrespective of predictions of crypto experts forecasting that there shall be a bull run before the end of 2019. Willy Woo, a crypto expert, and analyst behind exodus wallet and fomonomics still strike a note of caution. Owing to his invention and [Network Value to Transaction ratio](https://woobull.com/nvt-signal-a-new-trading-indicator-to-pick-tops-and-bottoms/), he still believes that bitcoin has not left the hooks of the bears but won’t bottom out until the second quarter (Q2) of 2019. “All our blockchain indicators remain bearish. NVT, NVTS, MVRV, BNM, NVM. They are experimental but have served to make very correct calls to date, even when traditional on-exchange indicators were reading to the contrary. Woo admits that the table might turn at any time, irrespective of his predictions being based on the best tools.\n\nAlso, this fluctuation in bitcoin price is gradually dragging other altcoins down the drain. They have been richly blessed and endowed in ways that is appealing and sometimes intimidating to men. Unfortunately, there are times they leave us with heavily thumping heart, wide eyes, mouth agape and brain busy trying to figure out different things pertaining to so many aspects of their lives, like their mood or when it swings, what exactly it is they want, what it is we have done something wrong, what they feel and a whole lot more. I can categorically say, ‘understanding women is not entirely impossible but it would have to be taken up as a course in school’. Sometimes I feel women don’t even understand themselves.\n\n I have not been on the good side of relationships; I guess that is what inspired this article. I felt the need to share my encounter with you and to get your views on how some relationships are not worth it, or maybe the woman is the one not worth the worth. By virtue of being in a relationship, one should be accustomed to love, trust, growth, romance, peace, satisfaction and most important of all, Happiness. There are many more bliss and blush that comes with a relationship, but when one is not getting any of that out of a relationship, what can be done? \n\n On a cool evening after my football training, I met a beautiful lady. I was initially intrigued by her interest in watching the football training and when I talked to her, I was even more intrigued by her love for sports because only a very few women enjoy sports. We exchanged contacts, and in a few weeks, we were close friends already. As the days went by, I knew I wanted to be more than just friends with this girl. I told her about my growing feelings but she was against the idea of a relationship and strictly wanted to be just friends. I could not give up easily, I went with the flow hoping that she would change her mind eventually. We got even closer that any outside person would think we were dating, still, she would keep insisting and playing it like a reminder in my ears that we were just friends. I could not take it anymore, I had to stop going way beyond bounds for someone who refused to reciprocate my throbbing feelings. I reduced the calls, the time, the care and many other sacrifices I had been making. I started hanging out with my other female friends which I had stopped because she felt jealous about it.  Soon enough, she started doing the calling, the caring, just to win back my affection but I was long gone by then.\n\n I could not remain an unrequited lover, a victim to women’s heart confusions. It was not even a relationship yet, it was depriving me of so much, friends, happiness, creativity. It could be that her purpose in my life is to teach me not to succumb to any relationship or friendship that is not bringing out the best in me. After I made the decision to stop the excessive care, I then realized I was backward in a lot of things. I left set goals pending, and stalled my priorities just because she became my goal and priority. Not everyone is the same, you might be lucky enough to find someone who brings the best in you. Just don’t be blinded so much by love that you can’t tell when you are depreciating or elevating. Loving can be a scam if you let it be, not necessarily by the other partner but by you.",
