In March, I have visited Yuntai Mountain in Jiaozuo, Henan Province, China with a dozen friends. It was not the best season for tourists in early March since the trees were not green and water flow was relatively low. YuntaiMountain had a ticket price discount for celebrating the International Working Women’s Day, so the number of tourists was tremendously larger than usual. We even had difficulty to go down the mountain. The experience was quite tortuous. But beyond our expectation, the incomplete tour left a lot of wonderful memory. In our group, there was a girl who took incredible pictures even the scenes seemed normal. So as the famous sentence goes, it’s not the lack of beauty in life, but the lack of the eyes to find thebeauty. (Besides, compared to that girl, it is the lack of iphoneX, external camera lens, aperture control software, film editing software, photoshop, aesthetic taste and so on…) There was another girl who had no interest in hiking but she took most of her time to buy food and have a taste in the food street of the town under Yuntai Mountain. She recommended a kind of Chinese yam chips, a kind of source made by Chinese yam and other delicious snacks so that we could take some home as souvenir. My parents liked them very well and they even told me to find out if we could buy them on website. When returned to the hotel, our friends played cards such as the Crime Scene. The game was interesting. At the beginning, we were seriously playing to find “criminals”, but after a while, we became actors and screen writers to compete whose story was the best. It leads to sleeping in the next day. Many friends lied in bed until lunch was ready. Food was the stimulus for us to get up since the hotel manager had good cooking skills. If you went there late, you would have nothing to eat. So the overall tour was marvelous, whether I was playing or watching others playing, I felt joyful. Here are the photos taken in Yuntai Mountain (special thanks to photographer Linlin). Jidanbufan is a traditional snack which looks like a bowl. “Jidan” means an egg. “Bufan” means that the cooking procedure is with no turning around action. The white part is the bottom of the food that is made of Chinese yams. Then an egg will be put on the white part in a tailor-made pot to be roasted. Then, some source will be put on the roasted snack when you can enjoy it. This snack is very suitable for breakfast. |

In the developed world, average life expectancy is increasing. What problems will this cause for individuals and society? Suggest some measures that could be taken to reduce the impact of ageing populations. Ageing society, which means the average life expectancy is increasing, is due to technology development. It is a coming event which is certain. People will grow old slowly and die at a very high age. Then what will be different? From the aspect of making a fortune, ageing society means nowadays younger people should be trained better than before to get a job, since people already in work positions are skilled and can work for a long time. On one hand, the so-called noble jobs are not easy to find, since the growth of white-collars’ salaries are relatively low compared to CPI. On the other hand, young people are piled in the third industries for example delivery, because the work is simple and flexible. Due to shortage on endowment insurance,old people start to retire later. Some old people who have bad health situation don't like this. Some old people are occupied by grandsons so even if they have retired from companies, they are still busy in household work. Some old people with good health situation enjoy regular time table and getting progressed, so they retire from work late or find a new job after retiring. The good example is that Alibaba is offering highly-paid job vacancies for people who are over 60 years old. The requirement is quite high, including knowing old people’s consuming sentiment and using mobile apps familiarly and so on. So if you are good at making money, ageing is not a problem. Then, what can we do? As for old people, they are sort of lucky since they’ve already had or will soon have retirement pay. So the most important thing should be have an open mind and embrace the new changing world. Being independent and doing some meaningful things to make their life more colorful. As for young people (including middle-aged), they must save money for their retirement and children’s education fees. If no children, they should prepare even more. I have seen a Korean TV series called* Dear My Friends* which tells different ways to spend time when people are old. it can enlighten young people a lot. Young people are under big pressure but they still have time and energy. So, what should everybody do no matter you are young or old? I suppose it should be a person with resources, power and plans. Ageing society is probably becoming a society that encourages these people and makes huge difference between individuals.

Principles is Ray Dalio’s classic work. Dalio is a famous investor in America who has built Bridgewater—a company which is called “Apple in investment area”. This company has made tremendous money as well as innovation in management. The book is named “principles”, so the main content is Dalio’s life and work principles. The book which is like a code, has many clauses. Each clause begins with a concept, and ends with explanations and examples. Chapters in the book are all very serious except the first one about Dalio’s life, while in the first chapter I feel like reading an interesting historical annals. This character of the book is due to the writer Dalio’s career experience and life motto. Since he is a professional investor who likes earning money in early age and doing jobs such as reading data of all kinds of economy affairs, his personality is direct and serious, at the same time not so relaxed and considerate. But reading this serious book, I use a quite leisure attitude. Up to now, I have finished half of the book. I was stirred by the first chapter of Dalio’s life. And in the second chapter, Dalio talks about life principles with the latest technology of brain science. This part is a little bit hard to understand and is suitable to read fast and just leaves a rough idea in mind first. Then when we meet certain problems in real life, we can read the related content more deeply and that will yield better results. 1 What does Dalio’s life impress me most? I think it is real life in no matter who has a very success life. Dalio’s story is not a legend. He is not a ”god” who can buy things that forever increase in price. In fact, he takes years to calculate and summarize to find what to invest and which kind will earn a lot but he also fails a lot. In this difficult situation, he can also write down his principles and keep on summarizing, so he has a strong heart and clear mind. He has experienced bankruptcy, company-managing crisis and difficulty to find the second leader of Bridgewater. He doesn’t like to be famous since every time after being reported, he will be written like a monster in investing or an evil leader or both. In his company Bridgewater, he told everybody to tell the truth. So he received a critical letter later. The letter said he made the employees feel huge pressure and being humiliated. Oh my god, Dalio wanted to cry… But his reaction was really good. He chose to take reality and be a real man, which is the most direct shock to me. As for this critical letter, he changed a lot: he kept the aim of letting employees do things simply and directly, but he found another way to combine nice communication, relaxation and consideration in it to make them feel happy. My feeling of this part of book is being realistic since a man clever as Dalio is also making huge mistakes and everybody’s life is not easy. 2 Dealing with shortcomings In the second chapter, Dalio writes a principle which deals with shortcomings. I like it very much. It has four aspects: 1) you can deny your shortcomings 2) you can admit your shortcomings and try your best to turn shortcomings to strengths (this depends on your ability) 3) you can admit your shortcomings and cop out 4) or, you can change your aim As for the four aspects of the method, we usually think about 1 and 2 because they are direct. 3 and 4 give us a switch of mind. All roads lead to Rome. We can change a way to reach the goal or we just change the goal. Always remember: our life all depends to us. 3 Dalio talks about three themes in chapter 2 which are all related to men. 1)interpersonal relationship Dalio says, “Although earning money is vital, having meaningful work and interpersonal relationship is more significant. Meaningful work means the work which I can put my heart and soul into it. Meaningful interpersonal relationship is a situation that I care about them deeply and they care about me deeply too.” 2)who should be trusted? Dalio is very impersonal, so people whom he trusts should have two standards. A: they have succeeded three times or above in a certain area B: they can explain their opinions well even under questioning 3)how to deal with conflicts among people Dalio says there is a two-minute-law to solve the problem. The two-minute-law means that each person takes turns to speak, can and only can speak for two minutes and others cannot disturb him or her during that time. It will ensure that we can express ourselves and listen to others. Usually conflicts are not threats but opportunities to learn. There is a good way to learn which is repeating the words said by others. 4 Conclusion Principles in Principles are easy to follow due to the distinct way of writing. Some points Dalio mentions touch me a lot, so that I can do things both combine them and my own experience to come up with my own “principles”. That is great. |

\n\n以下是本文的英语版:\n\nPrinciples is Ray Dalio’s classic work. Dalio is a famous investor in America who has built Bridgewater—a company which is called “Apple in investment area”. This company has made tremendous money as well as innovation in management.\n\nThe book is named “principles”, so the main content is Dalio’s life and work principles. The book which is like a code, has many clauses. Each clause begins with a concept, and ends with explanations and examples. Chapters in the book are all very serious except the first one about Dalio’s life, while in the first chapter I feel like reading an interesting historical annals.\n\nThis character of the book is due to the writer Dalio’s career experience and life motto. Since he is a professional investor who likes earning money in early age and doing jobs such as reading data of all kinds of economy affairs, his personality is direct and serious, at the same time not so relaxed and considerate. But reading this serious book, I use a quite leisure attitude.\n\nUp to now, I have finished half of the book. I was stirred by the first chapter of Dalio’s life. And in the second chapter, Dalio talks about life principles with the latest technology of brain science. This part is a little bit hard to understand and is suitable to read fast and just leaves a rough idea in mind first. Then when we meet certain problems in real life, we can read the related content more deeply and that will yield better results.\n\n1 What does Dalio’s life impress me most?\n\nI think it is real life in no matter who has a very success life.\n\nDalio’s story is not a legend. He is not a ”god” who can buy things that forever increase in price. In fact, he takes years to calculate and summarize to find what to invest and which kind will earn a lot but he also fails a lot. In this difficult situation, he can also write down his principles and keep on summarizing, so he has a strong heart and clear mind.\n\nHe has experienced bankruptcy, company-managing crisis and difficulty to find the second leader of Bridgewater. He doesn’t like to be famous since every time after being reported, he will be written like a monster in investing or an evil leader or both.\n\nIn his company Bridgewater, he told everybody to tell the truth. So he received a critical letter later. The letter said he made the employees feel huge pressure and being humiliated.\n\nOh my god, Dalio wanted to cry…\n\nBut his reaction was really good. He chose to take reality and be a real man, which is the most direct shock to me.\n\nAs for this critical letter, he changed a lot: he kept the aim of letting employees do things simply and directly, but he found another way to combine nice communication, relaxation and consideration in it to make them feel happy.\n\nMy feeling of this part of book is being realistic since a man clever as Dalio is also making huge mistakes and everybody’s life is not easy.\n\n2 Dealing with shortcomings\n\nIn the second chapter, Dalio writes a principle which deals with shortcomings. I like it very much. It has four aspects:\n\n1) you can deny your shortcomings\n\n2) you can admit your shortcomings and try your best to turn shortcomings to strengths (this depends on your ability)\n\n3) you can admit your shortcomings and cop out\n\n4) or, you can change your aim\n\nAs for the four aspects of the method, we usually think about 1 and 2 because they are direct. 3 and 4 give us a switch of mind. All roads lead to Rome. We can change a way to reach the goal or we just change the goal. Always remember: our life all depends to us.\n\n3 Dalio talks about three themes in chapter 2 which are all related to men.\n\n1)interpersonal relationship\n\nDalio says, “Although earning money is vital, having meaningful work and interpersonal relationship is more significant. Meaningful work means the work which I can put my heart and soul into it. Meaningful interpersonal relationship is a situation that I care about them deeply and they care about me deeply too.”\n\n2)who should be trusted?\n\nDalio is very impersonal, so people whom he trusts should have two standards.\n\nA: they have succeeded three times or above in a certain area\n\nB: they can explain their opinions well even under questioning\n\n3)how to deal with conflicts among people\n\nDalio says there is a two-minute-law to solve the problem. The two-minute-law means that each person takes turns to speak, can and only can speak for two minutes and others cannot disturb him or her during that time.\n\nIt will ensure that we can express ourselves and listen to others. Usually conflicts are not threats but opportunities to learn. There is a good way to learn which is repeating the words said by others.\n\n4 Conclusion\n\nPrinciples in Principles are easy to follow due to the distinct way of writing. Some points Dalio mentions touch me a lot, so that I can do things both combine them and my own experience to come up with my own “principles”. That is great.",

Recently,I have read a book in a reading activity with a group of people, which is called *Women’s Positive Psychology *(因为书名叫女子幸福课,没有英语翻译,我就根据哈佛幸福课的英语名字来起).Among tens of books I have read, this is the only one that I want to criticize.Since the activity had a tight schedule, I just tried my best to read and finish the homework as quickly as possible. But when the activity is finished, I have time to rethink about it. It seems more and more interesting because of the book’s onion, articles from others who also participated in the activity, and the planning and details of the activity. So I come up with some ideas. 1 First, I am more convinced that the contents are vital to choose a book. If you don’t like the contents, don’t waste your time to read. This book* Women’s Positive Psychology* has boring contents. When I read it then, the feeling was stronger. Moreover, another key point of choosing a book is its publishing house and edition number. Disappointedly, the book doesn’t have a publishing house and it is sort of inner materials and customer comments printed by the company of “Qingyi New Education”. So without public check, this book is mysterious and shows little to us. For a person like me who didn’t take a course of “Qingyi New Education”, I don’t know whether it is valuable. Besides, it doesn’t have a beautiful bookcover and the design is quite casual, too. So the attitude that the book cover and design shows is another point to choose books. 2 This activity was not all bad. The promoter put great effort in it and the financial issue was very clear. For example, the punish fund of homework delayed was invested to a charity program and the detail was shown in our wechat group. Most people in the group supported the opinion of* Women’s Positive Psychology* since this book is suitable for their life stage.They mainly are born in 1970s, have married and got children. They didn’t believe that the book was short of logic and examples were too narrow. Their homework mainly talked about their life stories with their husbands and children, or big topics about education. In the beginning of this activity, I was quite expecting to see high-level thinking. But after finishing the book, I was disappointed since the main idea is still women should be gentle and do things suitable for their gender. It is normal and lack of thinking. It is not worth of the slogan of new education and the high study fee. So the conclusion is clear that each one has an opinion which is most suitable for his or her environment. The only thing we can do is to have a better choice. 3 The articles I wrote were all about critical thinking. I was quite careful because I don’t want to use criticizing as expressing emotion and make others unhappy. I just said something that had evidence such as generalization, lack of logic and lack of examples. The comments were out of my expectation. The promoter praised me for critical things and my articles have received some “likes”on website. I was more relaxed that I dare to volunteer my homework as the group best (apparently I received no votes). What I learn most is why we should criticize and what the proper way to show criticize is. The ultimate aim of criticize is not to change others in to a certain direction, but to keep ourselves free, comfortable and self-consistent. So showing ourselves is more important and influencing others may be serendipity. The book Women’s Positive Psychology didn’t give me much but the activity did. |

| body | 文章 Didi takeover of Brazil’s 99 piles pressure on Uber(滴滴收购巴西打车应用99加速国际化) 三 语言分析 1 押头韵 Pile pressure on 2 精彩的从句 A local start-up, 99 has amassed 14m users and 300,000 drivers in Brazil, which, with over 200m inhabitants, is one of the most competitive markets for car-booking apps. Which从句是修饰限定Brazil的,which之后先跟着with的一个成分,再说is one of… Uber has 17m users and 500,000 drivers there, making the country its second largest outside the US. 3 “… While many localised car-hailing apps have emerged in individual countries, global operators such as Didi and Uber see network effects as their customers travel around the world. |

| author | danxuhg |
| body | How to earn money from writing articles by order requirements? I believe that I should find three types of people. Today, I’d like to introduce the second type. Part Two – find a boss Finding a boss is really, really important, because a boss can give me the most direct feedback from a business perspective. A boss’s main job is choosing the direction, for example, what will be the theme of the articles, what is the expecting transfer rate ofreaders to be customers, and so on. Bosses judge writers' work by salaries and care only about results. By communication and confliction with bosses, we writers will experience the real world’s need. The main problem of new comers in writing is that we hardly gain comments. Since bosses have been in a certain industry of a period of time, they have further understandings and their advices are more useful. Writing missions provided by a boss have the features of limited time and quantified requirements, the articles can be measured and improved more efficiently. A boss is usually very pragmatic. He is always telling the truth since he pays me not the other way around. Usually, when we ask for advice from family members or friends, they won’t say bad things. As a result, we improve slowly. People who can criticize me are really valuable. So I am pretty proud of having several bosses, and will continue to develop and maintain such "friendship". Then the question comes, how to find a boss? Many media companies will put contact information, or job vacancies offered on the Internet, so you can search and find them. Send a CV and former works to a potential boss. If the work they need, they will hire you. Didi takeover of Brazil’s 99 piles pressure on Uber A local start-up, 99 has amassed 14m users and 300,000 drivers in Brazil, which, with over 200m inhabitants, is one of the most competitive markets for car-booking apps. amass [ə'mæs] verb transitive ■to get a large amount of something, especially money or information, by collecting it over a long period 集聚,积累,大量收集(尤指钱或资讯) •She has amassed a huge fortune from her novels. •The company said the debt was accumulated during its acquisition of nine individual businesses. •Some of his colleagues envy the enormous wealth that he has amassed. •A large crowd of reporters collected outside the Prime Minister's house. •We gathered blackberries from the hedgerow. •He heaped more food onto his plate. •Unpaid bills began to pile up alarmingly. |

He is always telling the truth since he pays me not the other way around. Usually, when we ask for advice from family members or friends, they won’t say bad things. As a result, we improve slowly. People who can criticize me are really valuable. So I am pretty proud of having several bosses, and will continue to develop and maintain such \"friendship\".\n\n写作行业的新手最大的问题是缺少反馈。 \n\nThen the question comes, how to find a boss? Many media companies will put contact information, or job vacancies offered on the Internet, so you can search and find them. Send a CV and former works to a potential boss. If the work they need, they will hire you.\n\n那么问题来了,怎样找到老板呢? Didi takeover of Brazil’s 99 piles pressure on Uber A local start-up, 99 has amassed 14m users and 300,000 drivers in Brazil, which, with over 200m inhabitants, is one of the most competitive markets for car-booking apps.\namass\n[ə'mæs] verb transitive\n■to get a large amount of something, especially money or information, by collecting it over a long period 集聚,积累,大量收集(尤指钱或资讯)\n•She has amassed a huge fortune from her novels. \n•The company said the debt was accumulated during its acquisition of nine individual businesses. \n•Some of his colleagues envy the enormous wealth that he has amassed. \n•A large crowd of reporters collected outside the Prime Minister's house. \n•We gathered blackberries from the hedgerow. \n•He heaped more food onto his plate. \n•Unpaid bills began to pile up alarmingly. ,

danxuhgpublished a new post: how-to-earn-money-from-writing-articles-part-one
2018/01/06 15:04:51
| author | danxuhg |
| body | How to earn money from writing articles by order requirements? I believe that I should find three types of people. Today, I’d like to introduce the first type. Part One – find a customer After writing the first draft of my articles, I began to check the following questions: Does the article I wrote useful to a customer? Does the article have a clear outline, tremendous details and even amazing stories? Stories are especially essential because it is not only useful but also spiritually enjoyable. The films’ scripts are wonderful examples. Those who can use interesting stories to express boring, professional topics are really brilliant writers. My point of view has been changed. At the beginning, what I wrote were called diaries. The only reader was me, so I wrote freely and even didn’t look back on it. That can’t be treated as true writings. But when I took a job at a new media company, I realized how vital it was to let my customer understand me. Once I met that kind of situation: The opinions and facts that I used in my article were very simple, I thought, but the readers’ reflection was not that good. They said the logic is not clear and the examples were not interesting. After my colleague’s revision, I found my weakness. My expressions were not humorous and the article was lack of key sentences to catch the readers’ attention. So I realized writing should be considerate, and should always imagine readers sitting in front of me with their specific needs. That’ s why I say the first type of people I should find is a customer. |

"body": "How to earn money from writing articles by order requirements? I believe that I should find three types of people. Today, I’d like to introduce the first type.\n\nPart One – find a customer\n\nAfter writing the first draft of my articles, I began to check the following questions:\n\nDoes the article I wrote useful to a customer? Does the article have a clear outline, tremendous details and even amazing stories?\n\nStories are especially essential because it is not only useful but also spiritually enjoyable. The films’ scripts are wonderful examples.\n\nThose who can use interesting stories to express boring, professional topics are really brilliant writers.\n\nMy point of view has been changed. At the beginning, what I wrote were called diaries. The only reader was me, so I wrote freely and even didn’t look back on it. That can’t be treated as true writings.\n\nBut when I took a job at a new media company, I realized how vital it was to let my customer understand me.\n\n\nOnce I met that kind of situation:\n\nThe opinions and facts that I used in my article were very simple, I thought, but the readers’ reflection was not that good. They said the logic is not clear and the examples were not interesting.\n\n\nAfter my colleague’s revision, I found my weakness. My expressions were not humorous and the article was lack of key sentences to catch the readers’ attention. So I realized writing should be considerate, and should always imagine readers sitting in front of me with their specific needs.\n\nThat’ s why I say the first type of people I should find is a customer.",
