      "body": "<div class=\"text-justify\">\n\n# ALL IS LOST THAT WAS GONE\n\nAn unforgiving strand of eyelash poked into my now teary eyes as I let go off my brand new vivo Y21 device. It dropped with a resounding thud but it didn't matter to me as I came to the horrific reality that it was all gone; my Steem, Steem Power all of it, gone with my lost phone some weeks back. All effort to recover my Steemit account proved abortive as it kept demanding for my master key which I had in my lost phone but hadn't backed any up.\n\n\"Hope you have retrieved all your keys?\" @focusnow had asked me over a chat some months back when I signed up.\n\n\"Yes boss\", came my mischievous reply. I giggled to myself, it always amused me how easy it was to lie. Not that I meant to lie though. He had tutored me and several newbies via an intentional WhatsApp presentation on each key, it's function and restrictions.\n\nI can vividly reminisce that memorable session when he made us understand how the posting key was for everyday logins and how this frequently used key allowed us post, vote, comment, resteem other posts, mute as well as follow other accounts. \n\n\"You all should be mindful though, that the frequent use of the posting key can easily compromise it\"\n\nThe Memo key, he had told us, was used in the process of transferring funds, to encrypt and decrypt memos. To actually transfer funds one needed a different key known as the Active key which could also be utilized to power up/down transactions, place a market order or vote a witness.\n\n\"The most important key of all\", @beautybb had further emphasized during the class, \"was the Owner key\". It's a no brainer why that is. I understood from her meticulous explanation that this very key could be use to generate or alter the other keys. \n\n\"The only thing more important that your owner key\", she went on still, \"is your Master password. This is because it can be used to generate and reset even the owner key\".\n\n\"Hope you have retrieved all your keys?!\" The voice resounded still in my head with an audacious tone finessed with mockery.\n\nI shut two reddened eyes and bit hard into my lips. I had planned to store my keys offline, in print form to be specific. Procrastination has always gotten the better of me and now I had no choice but to face the music. My brain echoed the bitter sound of a judgemental ukulele, distorted in every rhythm by its loose strings which reminding me yet again of my irreversible loss.\n\nMore regrettably was the fact that I had just powered up my Steem Power for the first time. I had over 75 Steems  in liquid form and had converted all of it into Steem Power by clicking on the Wallet button which brought out my Steem, Steem Power and Steem Backed Dollar info in that order, with a drop down box for each on the far right end. I clicked specifically on the drop down box for the first subject, the Steem which popped up several options to which clicked Power up.       "body": "<div class=\"text-justify\">\n\n# ALL IS LOST THAT WAS GONE\n\nAn unforgiving strand of eyelash poked into my now teary eyes as I let go off my brand new vivo Y21 device. It dropped with a resounding thud but it didn't matter to me as I came to the horrific reality that it was all gone; my Steem, Steem Power all of it, gone with my lost phone some weeks back. All effort to recover my Steemit account proved abortive as it kept demanding for my master key which I had in my lost phone but hadn't backed any up.\n\n\"Hope you have retrieved all your keys?\" @focusnow had asked me over a chat some months back when I signed up.\n\n\"Yes boss\", came my mischievous reply. I giggled to myself, it always amused me how easy it was to lie. Not that I meant to lie though. He had tutored me and several newbies via an intentional WhatsApp presentation on each key, it's function and restrictions.\n\nI can vividly reminisce that memorable session when he made us understand how the posting key was for everyday logins and how this frequently used key allowed us post, vote, comment, resteem other posts, mute as well as follow other accounts. \n\n\"You all should be mindful though, that the frequent use of the posting key can easily compromise it\"\n\nThe Memo key, he had told us, was used in the process of transferring funds, to encrypt and decrypt memos. To actually transfer funds one needed a different key known as the Active key which could also be utilized to power up/down transactions, place a market order or vote a witness.\n\n\"The most important key of all\", @beautybb had further emphasized during the class, \"was the Owner key\". It's a no brainer why that is. I understood from her meticulous explanation that this very key could be use to generate or alter the other keys. \n\n\"The only thing more important that your owner key\", she went on still, \"is your Master password. This is because it can be used to generate and reset even the owner key\".\n\n\"Hope you have retrieved all your keys?!\" The voice resounded still in my head with an audacious tone finessed with mockery.\n\nI shut two reddened eyes and bit hard into my lips. I had planned to store my keys offline, in print form to be specific. Procrastination has always gotten the better of me and now I had no choice but to face the music. My brain echoed the bitter sound of a judgemental ukulele, distorted in every rhythm by its loose strings which reminding me yet again of my irreversible loss.\n\nMore regrettably was the fact that I had just powered up my Steem Power for the first time. I had over 75 Steems  in liquid form and had converted all of it into Steem Power by clicking on the Wallet button which brought out my Steem, Steem Power and Steem Backed Dollar info in that order, with a drop down box for each on the far right end. I clicked specifically on the drop down box for the first subject, the Steem which popped up several options to which clicked Power up. I was asked to confirm how many Steem I wanted to power up, and I converted them all by clicking a green box titled Power Up.\n\nJust when I had understood my Steemit Wallet fully, I lost all of it and as I had no control over the hands of time, all is lost that was gone.\n\nAlas now, I have no choice but to start all over again, with a firm resolve to back up all my keys offline, especially in print form and above all double up my consistency to regain all I have lost.\n\n</div>",

I'm a 24 years old easy going fellow who likes two basic things, listening and writing. Listening is more like an addiction for me because I enjoy listening to people talk and as such you'll often find me engaging people in conversations, strangers, colleagues, family, whoever, just talk I want to listen.\n\n\nCHILDHOOD\nGrowing up without a mum has narrowed my mindset to things my father found or finds interesting, mainly sports and politics. It was boring and monotonous to me in my early years as I was either deprived of watching my favorite cartoons for some weekend EPL match which my dad fancies a lot or denied the pleasure of listening to music on the radio, any genre of professional music actually, for an unending hour of the reocurrent news that my dad never seems to get tired of.\n\n\n![IMG_20211226_150058 - Copy.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmQdHoPxC7aTSMZ2YvLSMpzWzhTNmjJ532xnqg7ye2RRAp/IMG_20211226_150058%20-%20Copy.jpg)\n\nMUSE AND OBSESSION\nNewspapers were in abundance in my home growing up and you can easily guess that they were either sports newspapers like SUNSPORTS or solely political papers like THE VANGUARD OR PUNCH NEWSPAPERS. I unavoidablyinteracted with these paperworks as I either wrapped my exercise books with them to preserve the latter or made paper crafts out of them. Over time, I transcended into gulping down the content, I should be around 12 years old at the time and since then , my interest for sports and politics are without boundaries.\n\nCurrently I'm learning to be a world renowned fashion designer for the past 6 months, it's a timetaking art that demands full attention and it's been an amazing journey so far. I still go out sometimes to play soccer with my friends during the weekends but one thing hasn't changed a bit about me and that's my obsession for sports, especially soccer, basketball, tennis, races of any sort (cars and motorbikes most especially), rugby and the list can go on and on. I'm an ardent SUPERSPORT viewer and can stream on my device when there's power outage. I love a good sport analysis, be it in form of a debate or argument, a conversation or a news.\n\n\nSTEEMIT AND I\nI have been hearing of Steemit passively for a while now but never really understood what it was all about. Thankfully @focusnow made me see the light by breaking everything down to me on how I can can share what I do best, writing, and what's more, get paid for it. That's the best thing to happen to me at the beginning of a year. It's almost like getting a new job. I got assisted to sign up by @beautybb and now that I'm here I'm going to bring in the best of sports and political gist for my sports and politics lover. \n\nMore enjoyably, I'll be reading the original thoughts of various content creators on a platform that frowns at plagiarism.
