titleMy Diamond Gods and why I love Them
bodyHello and thank you for reading, I'm a NA server player (Callmejeffe) I'm no grand master but my profile is open if you want to look me up and add me, I currently have 50+ gods mastered around 1300 hours in Smite, and I have 5 Diamond Gods that I hold near and dear to me (As of this post). For the longest time I was striving to master all of the gods before I finally got burnt out on learning the basics of a new god, then swapping to an entirely different role. It can be cumbersome trying to step into a new god every game and constantly shifting your play style. So I finally sat down and decided to get my Diamond, Chaac. Chaac the Mayan God of Rain Rain is life. Showers from above soak the earth, feeding seeds which grow into precious fruits and grains. Man and beast alike are sustained by this cycle. Without rain, this world would be barren and all living things would turn to dust. Thus is the power of Chaac, God of Rain. But, like all great power, it did not come without cost. In mankind’s earliest days there were no farmers, so they starved beneath the sun. For days, Chaac sought a way to feed them. Deep in the mountains he discovered a golden boulder and cleft it with his mighty axe. Within was Maize, the crop that would change the Mayan people forever, and Chaac was worshipped and adored for it. Drunk with pride, Chaac sought the object of his deepest desire, the wife of his brother. For a time, their affair remained secret, but that was not to last. Chaac’s brother, the Sun God, discovered them. Without a word, she dutifully returned to her husband and Chaac, realizing what he had done, let her go, but a rift formed between the two brothers that would never heal. In his grief, Chaac drove his axe into the sky, and from the wound tears of regret fell. Since then, Chaac has chosen a life free of pride and selfishness, devoting himself only to mankind. As a reminder of his greatest failing, he continues to cleave the heavens, washing the land in sustaining waters. Thus do crops grow. Thus do the people survive. Thus is the power of Chaac, God of Rain. It started as a joke that 2 of my friends and I would do, it was team beefcake as we called it, Hercules Chaac and Aphrodite in a joust match. Usually just out of being lane bullies we won a fair bit of time and had some great laughs tower diving with all of the heals. Chaac is my usual go to if I'm needing to lane and I haven't felt confident with my Bellona lately. Chaac is a good learner god, if you're new to solo, or even warriors and general, Chaac is a good place to learn how to box effectively as a warrior. (I'm still waiting on my Diamond Skin rework though) After I got Chaac to Diamond I decided that I would go back to mastering other gods, I only had around 30 or so mastered at this point. I hadn't bought the god pack yet either so my favor and gems were always spent trying to purchase new gods to master. After about another week of grinding out mastery, I decided to take a break from it and grind out a Diamond. My next choice was.. Vulcan Smith of the Gods When the Gods of Rome ride chariots across the sky, it is Vulcan that made them. When they reach for weapons to wield in battle, it is Vulcan that forged them. When the very earth rumbles and mountains erupt in searing flame, it is Vulcan’s rage that burns. Smith of the Gods, Vulcan crafts with fire and forge as an artist would with paint and brush. As an infant, so hideous was Vulcan that his disgusted mother, Juno, cast him into the sea from the heights of Mount Olympus. So great was the fall, it smashed one of Vulcan’s legs, a wound from which he would never recover. Beneath the waves, a sea nymph, Thetis, rescued the child-god and raised him as her own. As Vulcan grew, he ventured to the surface and discovered fire and the art of smithing. His natural talents emerged and he forged wondrous jewels for his adopted mother. Summoned to a gala on Mount Olympus, Thetis wore Vulcan’s glittering gifts, but when Juno discovered Vulcan had made them, she jealously demanded he return to Mount Olympus. Angrily, Vulcan refused. In his stead, he sent a magnificent throne of gold and gems that imprisoned Juno when she sat upon it. For three days Juno was so entombed, and would have remained so had not Jupiter, Vulcan’s father, interjected. To Vulcan he offered an exchange, Juno’s freedom for the hand of Venus, the most beautiful Goddess of Love. Vulcan agreed. Though his vengeance was served cold, the fire of spite still burns in Vulcan’s chest. Unable to truly forgive, he loses himself at the forge. None of the wondrous chariots, jewelry or weapons he crafts can ever fill the hurt in his heart, but each one is worthy of a God. Vulcan is great, chef Vulcan needs to be a thing, because I sling the spicy meatballs. Vulcan has a very run and gun style to him, it's hard to be a successful Vulcan by just tower sitting. With Vulcan you have to use the knock back from his 1 ability to position yourself correctly while kiting. He can be very heavy handed coming into a fight out of the jungle with his knock back providing soft cc constantly. Plus, it's always fun to hit a tactical nuke on some unsuspecting victims. By around this point I was tired of mastering new gods, plus my favor was sorely depleted, I decided to look at my worshipers and see who my next Diamond could be, Loki, nope fuck that. I decided not take Loki from a 5 Mastery, instead I took this god from 3rd Mastery and played them almost every game till I hit Diamond. It was a means of saving favor, and also having some amazing ults. Kukulkan Serpent of the Nine Winds Upon the high winds of Mayan lands rides the feathered serpent, Kukulkan. Awesome and terrible to behold, majestic yet sinister, Kukulkan embodies the danger and beauty of a double-edged sword. Time has worn away knowledge of this God like the breeze over stone. Perhaps Kukulkan prefers this. He is known by many names and worn the face of man and beast - and worshipped with the kind of reverence born of fear. Dotted across the vast forests of the Mayan lands stand great pyramids bearing his serpentine likeness, architecturally perfect so as to catch the light and bring to life those slithering stone statues. Painted in blood, sacrifices were made upon these sites to appease Kukulkan. He is the lord of death and rebirth. To the world, he brought the four elements, but of wind he keeps control. A great gem, worn about his sinuous neck is said to be the source of all air. To the people, he brought the calendar. That glorious, portentous stone disk, which counts time to a distant future, only to stop abruptly and with horrifying finality. To the battlefield, he brings a legacy of power and domination. Sacrifices made for his favor were measured in blood, but mortal blood is weak. It seems that, for Kukulkan's ultimate appeasement, the blood of a God is required. Now Kukulkan has an awkward place in the meta, that place is no where really. He's a really fun god to play, but he lacks a lot of things like a proper escape and CC. However what he lacks in running like a scared feeble god, and stuns, he makes up for in disgusting amounts of damage over time and raw power. Please if you play Kukulkan do not DOUBLE STACK, please just trust me, get spear of the magus for penetration shred and Soul Reaver for the mana and damage proc, and I guarantee you'll have a better game than sitting in lane stacking constantly. After 100+ games in a row of Kukulkan finally getting him to Diamond, I had purchased a few new gods that I had really been wanting to play. But the problem was that I kept just leveling mages, I had very guardians or warriors mastered. I hadn't figured out how to properly play a tanky class, but then it hit me, why play a guardian when you can play a burst mage. Bacchus God of Wine Eat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow you may die. None adhere more vigorously to this creed than Bacchus, the Roman God of Wine, lewd behavior, and madness. After spending much of his formative years with his impressively intoxicated mentor Solinus, whom Bacchus loves like a father, the God of Wine is now a wanderer and teacher. He’s journeyed across all of Asia, through India, and finally back to Rome, spreading the “Mysteries of the Vine,” a ritual involving incredible amounts of wine to lower inhibitions, freeing one from social constraints, oppression of gender, sexual taboos, and the stresses of life. Quite the successful ritual, if ever there was one. Much of this ritual seems to have come from Solinus, who is widely known to have vast, secret knowledge and the ability to predict the future, though only while completely drunk. The king Midas, covetous of this knowledge, captured Solinus, endeavoring to extract it by providing the scholar the finest food, drink, and entertainment he could muster. Bacchus finally tracked down his mentor in the court of Midas and discovered him well fed and cared for. Quickly, Midas lied, claiming Solinus had been lost and the king had taken him in. Seeing through the ruse, Bacchus offered the monarch a boon. Midas asked that anything he touched be turned to gold. Without hesitation, Bacchus granted this. He tested his new gift on a twig and stone and found them turned completely to gold. Elated, Midas called a feast, but found his food turned to gold in his hands and his daughter solidified at his touch. Starving and crazed, Midas begged Bacchus to remove the “gift.” Bacchus acquiesced, allowing the greedy king to wash his hands in the Pactolus river. As the golden touch left his hands, the river sands transformed to glittering gold. Of course, the product of continuous overindulgence in alcohol and deviant behavior, Bacchus could simply be insane. If have never played Bacchus you're truly missing out, he maybe literally be my spirit animal or at least my stand. The reason I took a liking to Bacchus was because when I tried out other guardians like Khepri or Geb, they felt boring, I was always just walking up to enemies and saving my team mates, dying, then hoping my team would win the team fight. Bacchus, you control the team fight, because you can just jump over their Frontline guardian and warrior and hit their Backline, and if you haven't felt the power of a half tank/ half blaster bacchus, trust me it'll shock you. Bacchus's ult is pretty stupidly powerful especially since there is no delay it's an instant burst of damage to all of those around you. Ps for best damage bacchus always be sure to include Polynomicon. Bounce, Poly, Burb, Poly, Drink, Poly, Ult? Nah they're already dead. After succesfully getting Bacchus up to Diamond I felt much more well rounded and diverse in my play and skill. I actually went on a binge of trying to create damage versions of guardians and even jungeling with ymir. But my always started to set in again, I need to get a new mage to Diamond, but who? I still felt the support role running through my veins and didn't want to just go back to hoping my damage would be able to beat the other team if we had no Synergy, I wanted a god that others would group up to instantly and fight with me. Chang'e Faerie of the Moon Not always born in the crucible of creation, sometimes Gods ascend by tragic happenstance. Such is the tale of Chang’e, Goddess of the Moon. Among the immortals that lived in the Heavens, Chang’e was the most elegant dancer, like a dove on windswept currents. She drew the affection of the hero archer, Hou Yi, and the two were soon married. Everything was perfect. Yet, beneath the Heavens, all was not well. Ten suns, the ten children of the Jade Emperor, rose to scorch the earth and boil the seas. Brave Hou Yi, bow in hand, shot nine from the sky, sparing only one. Though the world was saved, the Jade Emperor was furious his children were killed. In punishment, Hou Yi and Chang’e were made mortal. Chang’e grew melancholy and danced no more. To restore their status in the Heavens, Hou Yi found the Elixir of Immortality, but thieves came to steal it while he was hunting. Chang’e struggled to hide the Elixir, but, in the end, was forced to drink it. Too much for one person, the Elixir gave her immortality, but it also swept her into the sky. Since then, Chang’e has lived on the moon, forbidden to see her husband, a Jade Rabbit her only companion. Yet, the Earth is once again in peril, and Chang’e finds herself upon the mortal surface. Perhaps, this is a second chance. If only she can save the world without angering the Jade Emperor, she can at last reunite with her husband. Chang'e can be a pretty toxic thing to play with or against, the reason being is Chang'es early game is super weak, your base movement speed is lower than Ymirs and you have mana problems. Because of this Chang'e can be extremely tough to start in Conquest, the Jade bunny is nice but not if you can't make any money because you can't kill minions before they reach your tower. All of that aside, if you're smart and play well you can easily get the upper hand based of Chang'es kit and become a fed monster that not only will 2 shot the enemy team, but will elegantly heal all of your allies. These were my first 5 gods I ever pushed up to Diamond, I don't think I'm near Diamond on anything else, Loki is still probably my next highest and I don't know if I can play that much Loki. Thank you all so much for reading, add me in smite if you want and shoot me a message.

"body": "Hello and thank you for reading, I'm a NA server player (Callmejeffe) I'm no grand master but my profile is open if you want to look me up and add me, I currently have 50+ gods mastered around 1300 hours in Smite, and I have 5 Diamond Gods that I hold near and dear to me (As of this post). \n\nChaac the Mayan God of Rain\n\nRain is life. Showers from above soak the earth, feeding seeds which grow into precious fruits and grains. Man and beast alike are sustained by this cycle. Without rain, this world would be barren and all living things would turn to dust. Thus is the power of Chaac, God of Rain. But, like all great power, it did not come without cost.\n\nIn mankind’s earliest days there were no farmers, so they starved beneath the sun. For days, Chaac sought a way to feed them. Deep in the mountains he discovered a golden boulder and cleft it with his mighty axe. Within was Maize, the crop that would change the Mayan people forever, and Chaac was worshipped and adored for it.\n\nDrunk with pride, Chaac sought the object of his deepest desire, the wife of his brother. For a time, their affair remained secret, but that was not to last. Chaac’s brother, the Sun God, discovered them. Without a word, she dutifully returned to her husband and Chaac, realizing what he had done, let her go, but a rift formed between the two brothers that would never heal. In his grief, Chaac drove his axe into the sky, and from the wound tears of regret fell.\n\nSince then, Chaac has chosen a life free of pride and selfishness, devoting himself only to mankind. As a reminder of his greatest failing, he continues to cleave the heavens, washing the land in sustaining waters. Thus do crops grow. Thus do the people survive. Thus is the power of Chaac, God of Rain.\n\nIt started as a joke that 2 of my friends and I would do, it was team beefcake as we called it, Hercules Chaac and Aphrodite in a joust match. Usually just out of being lane bullies we won a fair bit of time and had some great laughs tower diving with all of the heals. Chaac is my usual go to if I'm needing to lane and I haven't felt confident with my Bellona lately.\n\nChaac is a good learner god, if you're new to solo, or even warriors and general, Chaac is a good place to learn how to box effectively as a warrior.\n(I'm still waiting on my Diamond Skin rework though)\n\nAfter I got Chaac to Diamond I decided that I would go back to mastering other gods, I only had around 30 or so mastered at this point. I hadn't bought the god pack yet either so my favor and gems were always spent trying to purchase new gods to master. After about another week of grinding out mastery, I decided to take a break from it and grind out a Diamond. My next choice was..\n\nVulcan Smith of the Gods\nWhen the Gods of Rome ride chariots across the sky, it is Vulcan that made them. When they reach for weapons to wield in battle, it is Vulcan that forged them. When the very earth rumbles and mountains erupt in searing flame, it is Vulcan’s rage that burns. Smith of the Gods, Vulcan crafts with fire and forge as an artist would with paint and brush.\n\nAs an infant, so hideous was Vulcan that his disgusted mother, Juno, cast him into the sea from the heights of Mount Olympus. His natural talents emerged and he forged wondrous jewels for his adopted mother.\n\nSummoned to a gala on Mount Olympus, Thetis wore Vulcan’s glittering gifts, but when Juno discovered Vulcan had made them, she jealously demanded he return to Mount Olympus. Angrily, Vulcan refused. In his stead, he sent a magnificent throne of gold and gems that imprisoned Juno when she sat upon it.\n\nFor three days Juno was so entombed, and would have remained so had not Jupiter, Vulcan’s father, interjected. To Vulcan he offered an exchange, Juno’s freedom for the hand of Venus, the most beautiful Goddess of Love. Vulcan agreed.\n\nThough his vengeance was served cold, the fire of spite still burns in Vulcan’s chest. Unable to truly forgive, he loses himself at the forge. None of the wondrous chariots, jewelry or weapons he crafts can ever fill the hurt in his heart, but each one is worthy of a God.\n\nVulcan is great, chef Vulcan needs to be a thing, because I sling the spicy meatballs. Plus, it's always fun to hit a tactical nuke on some unsuspecting victims.\n\n\n\nBy around this point I was tired of mastering new gods, plus my favor was sorely depleted, I decided to look at my worshipers and see who my next Diamond could be, Loki, nope fuck that. I decided not take Loki from a 5 Mastery, instead I took this god from 3rd Mastery and played them almost every game till I hit Diamond. It was a means of saving favor, and also having some amazing ults.\n\nKukulkan Serpent of the Nine Winds\nUpon the high winds of Mayan lands rides the feathered serpent, Kukulkan. Awesome and terrible to behold, majestic yet sinister, Kukulkan embodies the danger and beauty of a double-edged sword.\n\nTime has worn away knowledge of this God like the breeze over stone. Perhaps Kukulkan prefers this. He is known by many names and worn the face of man and beast - and worshipped with the kind of reverence born of fear.\n\nDotted across the vast forests of the Mayan lands stand great pyramids bearing his serpentine likeness, architecturally perfect so as to catch the light and bring to life those slithering stone statues. Painted in blood, sacrifices were made upon these sites to appease Kukulkan. He is the lord of death and rebirth.\n\nTo the world, he brought the four elements, but of wind he keeps control. A great gem, worn about his sinuous neck is said to be the source of all air.\n\nTo the people, he brought the calendar. That glorious, portentous stone disk, which counts time to a distant future, only to stop abruptly and with horrifying finality.\n\nTo the battlefield, he brings a legacy of power and domination. Sacrifices made for his favor were measured in blood, but mortal blood is weak. It seems that, for Kukulkan's ultimate appeasement, the blood of a God is required.\n\nNow Kukulkan has an awkward place in the meta, that place is no where really. He's a really fun god to play, but he lacks a lot of things like a proper escape and CC. However what he lacks in running like a scared feeble god, and stuns, he makes up for in disgusting amounts of damage over time and raw power. Please if you play Kukulkan do not DOUBLE STACK, please just trust me, get spear of the magus for penetration shred and Soul Reaver for the mana and damage proc, and I guarantee you'll have a better game than sitting in lane stacking constantly.\n\nAfter 100+ games in a row of Kukulkan finally getting him to Diamond, I had purchased a few new gods that I had really been wanting to play. But the problem was that I kept just leveling mages, I had very guardians or warriors mastered. I hadn't figured out how to properly play a tanky class, but then it hit me, why play a guardian when you can play a burst mage.\n\nBacchus God of Wine\nEat, drink, and be merry, for tomorrow you may die. None adhere more vigorously to this creed than Bacchus, the Roman God of Wine, lewd behavior, and madness.\n\nAfter spending much of his formative years with his impressively intoxicated mentor Solinus, whom Bacchus loves like a father, the God of Wine is now a wanderer and teacher. Quite the successful ritual, if ever there was one.\n\nMuch of this ritual seems to have come from Solinus, who is widely known to have vast, secret knowledge and the ability to predict the future, though only while completely drunk. As the golden touch left his hands, the river sands transformed to glittering gold.\n\nOf course, the product of continuous overindulgence in alcohol and deviant behavior, Bacchus could simply be insane.\n\nIf have never played Bacchus you're truly missing out, he maybe literally be my spirit animal or at least my stand. titleSome tips to improve your frags
bodyHello all, thanks for reading. I just wanted to go over a few things that might help you improve your CSGO play. A lot of these are general things, but they are essentials and will help you in the long run. The first thing I'd like to say is that CSGO is different in many ways than most FPS games, it has very precise variables that can alter how you play the game. If you're new to the game the best advice I can give you is slow the fuck down. Most new players try run and gun tactics similar to maneuvers you'll see in COD and BF, but CSGO is different, that shit doesn't work here. Rule number 1: The walk key is your friend, by default it's shift, you probably discovered it wanting to sprint only to find out it slowed you down? Well let me tell ya, the stealth approach will take you further than a loud approach. Utilize your walk key and call it out to team mates if you plan to approach silent, no point in walking if 4 others are running around like the apartment above your bedroom. Rule number 2: Crosshair placement, I see it frequently that people will slightly lean their camera forward as they run. If you keep your crosshair at head height constantly, you'll be surprised on the amount of headshots you'll pick up. This is especially true when peaking/pieing corners or when others are. Rule number 3: Team play games without a team is tough, always be supportive of your team. If it's to much just mute them, but DO NOT start bad mouthing them because what little cooperation you did have is now gone, or if you're the top fragger on your team but your bottom frag is having a real tough game just offer them encouragement let them you got the trade because of them, etc. Rule number 4: Have a mic and use it. We do not have time to read in the bottom of the corner of the screen during a fire fight. It's even more frustrating when someone types most of the game, only to be wearing a mic the whole game. If you're not comfortable talking on the mic, then only speak when it's crucial. CSGO isn't a chatty game, if you aren't making calls then just remain quiet and listen for footsteps etc. But you need to make calls, YOU NEED TO MAKE CALLS. Calls are more important than frags, because if you don't get that kill and your team can't trade because you didn't give them the intel it makes for a bad round. Rule number 5: Know how you want to peak, where you want to peak before you do it. So the technique you will for forever use to turn a corner in a shooter from now on will be pieing a corner. What that means is aim directly at the corner that you wish to turn (head height always, that's rule 2) and make a wide turn, keeping your crosshair on that corner will allow you to easily flick shot someone since you will facing them head on with proper aiming. The best part to pieing a corner wide rather than sharp is you get more room to maneuver as you need. How many times did you go flying around a corner to meet 3 enemies that lit you up? Trust me when I tell you to pie a corner from now on. When you peak understand where the enemy could be after you expose yourself to them, this mainly comes down to map knowledge. But if there's always someone in palace, or window, etc. When you peak the corner be head height for where you want to focus and pop out and take the shot. Rule number 6: Don't spray, ever. Honestly, unless you only use that 1 gun, try to avoid spraying. It's worth knowing spray patterns but working on learning how to 1 shot with your AK from across the map will do you a lot more than knowing how to spray. Spraying, even with knowing spray patterns, can come down to luck. There's never absolute certainty that all over your shots will be on point even with having perfect muscle memory for that spray pattern. But learning how to to tap out a few shots at a time will help you overall with any gun you pick up.

If it's to much just mute them, but DO NOT start bad mouthing them because what little cooperation you did have is now gone, or if you're the top fragger on your team but your bottom frag is having a real tough game just offer them encouragement let them you got the trade because of them, etc.\n\nRule number 4: Have a mic and use it. Calls are more important than frags, because if you don't get that kill and your team can't trade because you didn't give them the intel it makes for a bad round.\n\nRule number 5: Know how you want to peak, where you want to peak before you do it. Trust me when I tell you to pie a corner from now on.\n\nWhen you peak understand where the enemy could be after you expose yourself to them, this mainly comes down to map knowledge. But if there's always someone in palace, or window, etc. When you peak the corner be head height for where you want to focus and pop out and take the shot.\n\nRule number 6: Don't spray, ever. But learning how to to tap out a few shots at a time will help you overall with any gun you pick up.",

titleNot your average 5 anime list
bodyHello all, and thanks for reading. Have you been searching for a new anime but can't seem to find one? How about every time you ask someone for a new anime to watch and they give you the same generic answer? Well I'm here to try and help you break from the shonen mold and find something new and exciting to watch. Now these are just some of my favorite anime, not in any order. ![jojo.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmaM9iY1Ds9cyp9kcHsLiRYgBJm5Nk7YWa1TAvR3ACCbms/jojo.jpg) Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Jojo's is a juggernaut of a show in the East, spanning over two decades at this point. It follows the Joestar bloodline from generation to generation. Each Joestar feels new and fresh, mixed in with lots of pop culture references and oddly specific off the wall facts makes for a battle anime that doesn't feel like a battle anime. Why Jojo's? Because the writer Hirohiko Araki, found an elegant solution to the mundane power up mold that shonen continues to follow. When I say the power up mold, I mean generally each arc of an anime ends with some kind of character progression, maybe they got a new power, or they became stronger or faster, etc. Araki has negated this effect with creative genius. No fight will ever feel one sided no matter how ridiculous. Now Jojo's does have pacing problems for about the first 10 episodes. But if you've watched Bleach, Naruto, or Dragon Ball Z I would prefer you keep your complaints to yourself. There is no filler arcs. Araki just needed a few issues to find his stride in this masterpiece. ![berserk.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmXoLU2S8WcuVjDUwQa77UG1wFjpTnxG71NgWsKiVDZbQt/berserk.jpg) Berserk Probably the most compelling story in a manga/anime I've ever experienced. Berserk follows the story of Guts, the baby who was found under his dead mother and raised by mercenaries. From an early age Guts would fight grown men in a life or death battle, but fate always has a seemingly different plan for guts. He is forced to join The Band of The Hawk, another mercenary group after losing in a duel to the leader the hawk of light, Griffith. Why Berserk? Have you ever watched a couple seasons of an anime and never once felt moved? Are you tired of characters feeling bland and generic? Fear not, Berserk will blow mind. Berserk's story it dark, extremely, like you need night vision goggles to make it through this one, but how this story will move you in ways you didn't think an anime could. You can feel the desperation in every character wanting to achieve their dreams so badly that the world really feels believable and tangible. I would recommend the manga vs the anime though. Just so we're clear. The manga can never be adapted into an anime properly I feel. Unlike jojo's which I feel can flow better as an anime given their action scenes, Berserk can feel clunky to watch between it's awkward 2d to 3d design. Watch the golden age movies 1 through 3, then go back and read the manga. I promise you, you won't regret it. ![MHA.png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQSKbYbozDjnLRJkDKpPnkx8jgdV3uZcSZhB5Jm1fNt8M/MHA.png) My Hero Academia MHA is a newer anime, only into it's 2nd season but is making large waves. The story follows Midoriya, a boy who lives in a world populated by people with special powers known as quirks. Midoriya's dream is to one day become a hero like All Might, the strongest hero and the symbol of peace. But Midoriya soon learns he's born with no quirk at all. Why MHA? Other than being my favorite anime of the season, with some of my favorite opening songs ever. Do you love western comic book heroes? Have you ever wanted to see what a Japanese Superman would be like? Do you love shows with massive rosters of compelling supporting cast members? Then step on up and Smash your way into MHA. MHA's world grounds itself and humanizes the main character to you, a quirkless individual. It's a show about grit and determination through your own resolve, not a typical 'with the power of my friends I can do anything' anime. ![banner_3347.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZXk6yTV7mBWPLYQmCBGoM2kmkbrudM8iFwUyJRS4wm5o/banner_3347.jpg) Seven Deadly Sins Seven Deadly Sins is a fantasy anime, taking place years after the Seven Deadly Sins tried to stage a coup against the King. The sins vanished after that day, going into hiding for what had happened. The story follows Elizabeth, the daughter of the King. The King is now Ill and she believes that the Holy Knights, the Kings army, are up to something sinister. She sets out from the castle to seek out the Seven Deadly Sins, the only ones with the power to take on the army of the Holy Knights. Why Seven Deadly Sins? Do you love having a powerful main character who's a womanizing powerhouse? Or amazing character conflicts that will tear you between which character you want to truly win? Then please feast your eyes on the Seven Deadly Sins, it's a netflix original and well worth your time to watch. ![one punchmana.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmVgqzNVDKVdRjkKFZQHYVRAL4q5kqTHpbhi84pynNiwhb/one%20punchmana.jpg) One Punch Man One Punch Man follows Saitama, who after defeating a half man half crab monster trains for 3 years, becoming so strong he can practically one shot anything. Saitama however has lost his love for fighting though, it's no challenge for him if he can end any fight with one punch. He feels disconnected with everyone and disinterested in everything. Why OPM? Other than watching saitama crush classic anime archetypes and stereotypes with overwhelming power? Then I'd say you need to jump on this one. It's created by ONE, who's original manga, for lack of a better term was rough. Extremely rough. The fact that we got the beautiful animation from Madhouse Production from the source material is insane, but fortunate. ONE's work was picked up solely because the story, trust me the visuals are tough to see. But that's how strong this character is. I thank you for reading. Join me in the comments for some anime talk. I love discussing anime.

titleTwo fun bots to have in your discord
bodyHello all, as the admin to my own channel I've often looked at ways to improve my discord for the community. The first one that personally makes my jobs easier, is called Discal. This nifty bot you can add announcements or shouts through different channels and permissions. I personally enjoy utilizing this tool when there's a scheduled event (Ranked, Streaming, Podcast, etc.) They're easy to manage, delete, or to set up recurring events, or triggered events. ![discal.PNG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmaRJV2ykWe5Vi2huzV48XxnjNdArV6MD6k7GKVHJrj4Eh/discal.PNG) Here's a general example from my stream when I was working on adding new events to my channel. The bot is fairly intuitive to use, but there is support software if it'll be easier for you to use, rather than typing commands. If you are tired of constantly updating your channel or just want to spice up the way you announce something, I'd recommend this bot. Now I do have more bots, but some are just niche picks. I want to focus on my two favor bots that I'll use regularly. Other than Discal, my most often used bot would be FredBoat. ![fredboat homepage.PNG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZmzMKqvRzLmHtXj6boBwHLxdFowpmnZNpog9cgPMfMVR/fredboat%20homepage.PNG) If you're doing a podcast or stream and are using discord as your means of voice chat, Fredboat is a great way to include everyone in either music, or just any audio from youtube. Fredboat is free to use, with a responsive discord community that you can freely join and speak with them. How does it work? It's uses simple commands like ;;join (to join the voice channel that you're currently in) and ;;play insertURL (to have it play the audio that you linked.) ![fredboat example.PNG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmNksmAaK3yC2EWHmDbQdvfEJn6RN3inp7cQjhTag5vpM6/fredboat%20example.PNG) ![fredboat example 2.PNG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmZuEUTuJtfLpwZDY9qBwtxVM9R6qbhT7EeiUrSPVQJMf1/fredboat%20example%202.PNG) I hadn't selected anything for Fredboat to play yet, but that's what it looks like. It'll join your channel, you use the ;;play command and you're on your way. There is a free option, but I do enjoy the bot and use it often enough that I invest the $2 a month to support the creators. I'm constantly adding more bots to my channel and playing with them, so if I can find a few more I'll make a new list. But for now these are the two bots that I feel everyone can get use out of.
