It's funny, people think I am always texting, but really I am always working. It is important to have your go to apps that help you get you photos edited and organized the way you want. These are my top go to apps that I use to keep my photos looking amazing and organized. \n \n**Facetune**\n \nSo this one is a no brainer... it is pretty much Photoshop on your phone. You can edit everything in your photo from lighting to blurring skin and even changing you eye color. With all of these options, it is tempting to go overboard.\n \nHowever, it is important to keep your makeup looks as close to what you actually created as possible. These options are there to just help enhance your already beautiful features. There is nothing worse than looking at an over edited photo and knowing it. \n \n**Phonto**\n \nThis one is quick and easy! You can use this to put text over your photos. With so many internet trolls out there, people love to steal your photos. And a lot of the time, you probably don't even know it's happening. There are millions and millions of photos and accounts out there so it is impossible to keep track of who is and isn't using your photos. \n \nI use this app to add a watermark to all of my photos. So even if someone is reposting me and not giving me credit, my username will always be in the photo so people will know where it came from. A quick tip for this is to make sure your watermark is in the middle of your photo so people can't crop it out. \n \n**Preview**\n \nThis app is probably my favorite! As a beauty blogger, Instagram is a great resource to reach out to new people to get them to come to your website. However, you do need a sexy looking feed to hook those viewers. The Preview app can help with that because when you upload photos to the app, it appears as they would on Instagram. However, you can move them around and order them to you preference so you can see how our entire feed will look. \n \nIn addition to that, you can also write all of your captions ahead of time so all you have to do the day of posting is copy and paste it over and your post is ready to go. I always spray a healthy amount after I get out of the shower and towel dry my hair. I found that after a week of using it my hair is noticeably softer and shinier. It also helps my hair not break as much when I am brushing it. Not only is it amazing for my hair, but it smells so good to. This is a must get people!\n \n**Redken Extreme Shampoo and Conditioner**\n \nThis specific shampoo and conditioner set has helped my hair tremendously! It is slightly more expense, but it is worth it. This stuff is the real deal! It was made to help strengthen damaged hair and it does just that. The reason why it helps damaged hair so much is because it is full of proteins that helps strengthen you hair and stop it from breaking. \n \n**OGX Moroccan Penetrating Oil**\n \nAnother important step to improving damaged hair is by applying an oil mask to you hair once a week. At first, I thought this was a little overrated and I didn't think it would help much. Most of the time when I would go to get my eyebrows done I would say the same thing, \"Keep the shape, just clean them up... please.\" I would always get confirmation that they would do that. Except time and time again I would walk out completely livid because my eyebrows were a different shape and a lot smaller. \n \nI don't know what it is, but as soon as people see my thick and dark eyebrows, the first thing they want to do is make them skinny and wax a lot of my hair off. This completely baffles me because the trend now with eyebrows is very natural and thick. Anyways, this is why I have resorted to tweezing. I wanted to avoid another experience like this at all costs. \n \nSo rewind to about a month ago, a new Ulta had opened by my place which was a godsend. I popped in to pick up some products from the new MAC Holiday collection. As I was looking around I was approached by a woman at the Brow Bar trying to get me to book an appointment. I was like, \"Ummm no thank you I've had enough bad experiences getting my eyebrows waxed.\" Then she sold me the pitch and I bought it. So I made an appointment. \n \nWhen I got to my appointment, the woman who was going to do my eyebrows (Cristina) was there and ready to go. The first thing she had me do was sign a waiver which I wasn't expecting. It asked about medications you were taking and some other things that you had to sign off on. But I wasn't too phased by that. So I signed my brows away and really hoped it would be a good experience. \n \nFirst of all, Cristina was such a lovely and amazing gal. We had great conversations throughout the duration of my waxing and she made me feel really comfortable. I have very sensitive skin so she started by putting an oil – not sure what kind – in the areas where she would be waxing to help with sensitivity and to make sure the skin would not pull. \n \nShe then created a brow map, this is what sold me on the pitch. They create a map around your eyebrows of where they are going to wax and what they will look like. I think she used the Brow Zings to create the lines around my brows. Once I was good with the map, she got to waxing. \n \nApparently Benefit has a special wax formula they use that is great with sensitive skin, so I was here for that. The wax was smooth and really didn't hurt as much as other waxing experiences I have had. Once that was complete, she took her time and tweezed and trimmed my brows so that they looked perfect. \n \nAfter that, she added some soothing cream and a primer to reduce the redness. She then filled in my brows with the Benefit Brow Zings and put the Benefit Brow Gel Over it and even put on concealer to help with the redness even more. Overall, I was thrilled with the result. In the picture they look really dark, but that's only because I wasn't wearing any other makeup. I was super happy with the service I got and the result. They really understand what they are doing!\n \nMy only complaint is that it was $21 which is quite expensive. It was worth it because of everything Cristina did and the result, but it's not something I can afford to do every two weeks. Maybe once a month to a month and a half.       "body": "For all of you out there with acne and those who struggle with scarring, I feel you. It sucks... I mean that's not the most eloquent or sophisticated way to put it, but it's the truth. The first thing people see is your face so it's hard not to feel slightly insecure about the scarring that is left over on your face. It is by no means anything you should hide or be ashamed of, it happens to the best of us. I personally use the Neutrogena Oil-Free Pink Grapefruit Foaming Scrub. Sun exposure will make acne scars even darker which will make them more visible and they will become more of a challenge to get rid of. I have always struggled with sunscreen because I feel like it makes my face oily. However, my dermatologist recommended the Elta MD UV Pure Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 47. Active acne will heal faster when it is moisturized, and the faster it heals, the less it will scar. Moisturizing won't necessarily help diminish the looks of current acne scars, but it will prevent future ones. I use the Skin Fresh Oil-Free Moisturizer that I got from my dermatologist's office. It is the perfect consistency and I can easily apply makeup over it without it looking oily or cakey. \n \nA new product I have introduced into my daily regime is the Human Heart Nature Sunflower Beauty Oil. It is an all natural and vegan product that is literally only premium sunflower oil. At first I wasn't sure how effective this would be, but one I started using it, I noticed a difference in the redness and scarring on my skin immediately. I know it's not as easy as it sounds, but once you get in the right skin care regime, you will notice that your skin is healthier and fresher. Make sure to take off your makeup every night and wash you face. I currently use the Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash. This has really helped my skin improve acne wise and has reduced my oiliness.\n \nI also use an acne cream called Epiduo Forte. I was prescribed this by my dermatologist, but it is pretty much just a benzoyl peroxide cream on steroids. You can get creams similar to this over the counter, so my suggestion is to just go to your nearest drug store and try out whichever one is in your price range.\n \n**See a dermatologist**\n \nAt the end of the day, the best thing you can do it see a dermatologist to help with these problems. If your scarring is severe enough, you may have to get different facials or procedures to help improve it. Everything I listed above is what has worked for me personally. I've used ProActive and what feels like all of the other trendy skincare routines that come and go. I also feel like I've tried every home remedy as well. Needless to say, it sucks having skin issues.\n \nHowever, there are ways to help your skin that are all natural. Recently, I was on the search for new skincare products that were also natural and I discovered this brand, [Human Heart Nature](https://humanheartnature.com/us/). I have done quite a huge haul from their website and I have converted solely to their brand when it comes to skincare. \n \nHere is my regime!\n \n**1. Wash Face**\n \nI have a few different face washes from them such as their [Balancing](https://humanheartnature.com/us/index.php/face/balancing-facial-wash.html), [Nourishing](https://humanheartnature.com/us/index.php/face/nourishing-facial-wash.html) and [Hydrating](https://humanheartnature.com/us/index.php/face/hydrating-creamy-wash.html) Face Wash. My go to is the Balancing wash because I have combination skin and this one in particular seems to really help with that. I really love their washes because they are very cleansing, hydrating and they have helped my acne tremendously. I switch between the three honestly depending on my mood. \n \n**2. Scrub Face**\n \nI only do this maybe 3-4 times a week so I don't dry out my skin. I use their [Detoxifying](https://humanheartnature.com/us/index.php/face/detoxifying-mask-and-scrub.html) and [Purifying](https://humanheartnature.com/us/index.php/face/facial-scrub-with-strawberry-scrubs-50ml.html) scrubs. Once again, I switch between them depending on which scent I want to be perfectly honest. \n \nI do prefer the Detoxifying one because it can also be a face mask and I find that it really helps with reducing redness on my skin. \n \n**3. Toner**\n \nAfter I have finished washing my face, I use their [Balancing](https://humanheartnature.com/us/index.php/face/balancing-face-toner.html) Face Toner. I only do this if my skin is feeling extra dirty or if I am having a breakout. I just pour some in my hands and pat it in to my face. \n \n**4. Moisturize/Oil**\n \nI use a combination of their [Night Moisturizer](https://humanheartnature.com/us/index.php/face/night-moisturizer-2016.html) or [Day Moisturizer](https://humanheartnature.com/us/index.php/face/100-natural-day-moisturizer.html) and the [Sunflower Beauty Oil](https://humanheartnature.com/us/index.php/face/sunflower-beauty-oil.html). I usually use about two to three pumps of the moisturizer and one pump of the oil twice a day. I find that the oil in particular helps with healing my acne faster. So if I am having a bad breakout, I will apply more oil and try to use it about three times a day. The beauty oil is my personal favorite!\n \n**5.
