      "title": "It is true:  YOU are your own worst enemy.",
      "body": "Far too often we have a tendency to get into our own heads where limitations are concerned.  The feelings of \"I'm not good enough\" or \"I don't have that knowledge/experience so I can't do it\" are common with everyone, even those most successful.  Recently, when having a motivational conversation with some of my colleagues, I asked two questions:\n\n1.  What do you want out of life?\n\nand\n\n2.  What is stopping you?\n\nOne of my colleagues responded to #2 with \"Subconscious thoughts.  They limit me in what I can achieve.\"  I responded with \"BULLSHIT!  Because you believe those thoughts limit you, they do.  It's like Zig Ziglar used to say, 'You can or you cannot, either way, you are right.'\"  We parted ways and I later find out that...apparently, I hurt his feelings.  This is paramount to continuing the relationship because, honestly, I need people who are willing to easily understand the simplest of statements.  \n\nI don't know everything, just like everyone else.  In fact, Henry Ford once said he could answer any question that was asked to him.  A group of journalists put him to the test.  They asked him a question and he immediately picked up his phone and called someone.  When he was asked he explained, \"Let me remind you that I have a row of electric buttons in my office. All I have to do is press one of them to call the person who can answer any question on any subject I wish to know, relative to the business at hand. I take care of the business, they take care of the questions. Now would you be so good as to explain why, just to answer you questions, I should have a brain stuffed with general culture, when I am surrounded by employees who can supply any information I might want to know? \"\n\nWe all have our limitations, but rather than be stopped by them, we simply acknowledge them and find ways around them.  I'm not a great programmer, but I know people who are, and with their help I can get things done that I would like.  \n\nI guess the point of this is...don't let your fears, your doubts, the little voice in the back of your head saying \"Stop\", to stop you.  Ignore it and move on.\n\nUnless you are trying to kill someone...then please, by all means, listen and obey.",

      "body": "First off, allow me to say that I am Chairman of the Libertarian Party of Mississippi.  And while that fact alone may cause you to think that there is going to be bias, rest assured, there is not.  I supported Austin Petersen during the Libertarian National Convention in Orlando on BOTH of the votes.\n\nSo, if i disnt support Johnson at the Convention, then surely I am merely towing the party line...right?  Wrong.  As a leader of a state political party, I am thinking past November.  While I fully do not expect Johnson to win and question some of his campaign strategies, I support him getting 5% of the National votes.  That will give the Libertarian Party \"Major party\" status nationally, which will legitimize the effort we are trying to accomplish.  Moreover, there are states which do not have ballot access like Mississippi has and their access is tied to what the National party structure is and being classified a \"Major party\" will give access to candidates that, prior to, would have to gather thousands of signatures just to be on the ballot.  Moreover, the LNC (Libertarian National Committee) spends hundreds of thousands of dollars every election cycle on ballot access fights and paying people to help gather signatures, and this would save us some money.\n\nI disagree with Johnson on many issues, why not, afterall, I am an Anarcho-capitalist compared to Johnson's Classical Liberalism.  So...why am I  supporting Johnson?\n\nBecause when you compare the two major party candidates what you get are people who have used and abused the system and have no real knowledge of how to effectively govern.  Johnson, and VP nominee William Weld were both Republican governors of Democratic states...and they were both elected to two terms.  Both of them lowered taxes and unemployment.  When Johnson left office New Mexico had a budget surplus.  When Weld left office he managed to significantly reduce the deficit.  Both of these men know how to govern...and govern responsibily.
