      "body": "<html>\n<p>FB shares look ready to roll over, while ATVI and MEET are ready to run higher after their declines</p>\n<p>&nbsp;With the stock market still flashing signs of potential weakness as it &nbsp;trades at the top of its range, the charts&nbsp;are continuing to identify a &nbsp;large number of bullish and bearish opportunities. It’s a reminder that, &nbsp;hey, there’s always a bull market <em>somewhere</em>.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>Facebook Inc&nbsp;</strong>(NASDAQ:FB), <strong>MeetMe Inc</strong>&nbsp;(NASDAQ:MEET) and <strong>Activision Blizzard, Inc.&nbsp;</strong>(NASDAQ:ATVI) are three big stock charts you should be paying&nbsp;attention to.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;Facebook Inc (FB)</p>\n<p>&nbsp;Facebook&nbsp;has been one of the quieter performers in the market lately, &nbsp;especially given the fact the shares normally attract all kinds of &nbsp;attention after earnings. FB&nbsp;stock has made its recent run from $111 to &nbsp;almost $130, setting up a short-term profit taking opportunity for &nbsp;traders.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;By three different measures, the FB stock chart is starting to show &nbsp;signs of a transition from short-term bull into short-term bear mode.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;First, Facebook chairs are coming off an overbought reading from its RSI &nbsp;indicator, which peaked about two weeks ago when the stock made its &nbsp;final push to $130. The last time that the stock’s RSI was this high was &nbsp;in May after Facebook shares had popped to just under $122 and then &nbsp;started to roll over, eventually selling off to the $111 level before &nbsp;finding a bottom.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;Secondly, the momentum indicator for Facebook shares is showing&nbsp;that &nbsp;the recent consolidation just below $122 is more than that, as momentum &nbsp;is starting to swing to the seller’s advantage.</p>\n<p>&nbsp;Finally, after an attempt to break above the top Bollinger band in &nbsp;late July, the stock has been held in the tight trading range, which is &nbsp;resulting in a contraction of the Bollinger bands. A contraction in the &nbsp;bands is often a precursor to an increase in volatility, and given the &nbsp;shift in momentum in oversold indications that volatility is likely to &nbsp;be to the downside for FB.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;On a last note, Facebook shares recently moved to one of the largest &nbsp;percentage difference between their closing price and 50-day moving &nbsp;average. This often happens ahead of what technicians refer to as a &nbsp;period of regression to the mean.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;According to the charts, shifts in&nbsp;momentum and potential selling &nbsp;pressure should lead FB stock back to support at the $116 level in a &nbsp;relatively short period of time.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;<strong>MeetMe Inc (MEET)</strong></p>\n<p>&nbsp;What comes up, must come down, and in the case of MEET stock that’s &nbsp;exactly what’s happening, as it appears the profit takers finally pushed &nbsp;the “sell” button on this parabolic chart ahead of the company’s &nbsp;earnings results, which were announced after the close yesterday. But &nbsp;there’s an opportunity for traders on the massive decline.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;In three&nbsp;days, MeetMe shares have saved off about 35% of their value &nbsp;moving from their highs at $8.15 for the current price of $5.02. To &nbsp;many, the 35% pullback would be seen as a disaster, but for those who &nbsp;either sold at $8 or those who haven’t owned the shares, the technical &nbsp;buying opportunity is in the works.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;MEET stock has declined into a dramatic, oversold condition that is &nbsp;worthy of a “dead cat” bounce at the minimum, as the RSI is now matching &nbsp;readings that we saw in April ahead of a quick 25% rally in shares. In &nbsp;addition, MEET shares are sitting at $5.00. Low dollar prices &nbsp;(especially single-digit prices) tend to see support and resistance at &nbsp;even dollar prices. The $5.00 point will produce some buying power for &nbsp;the shares.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;The best part, the company provided earnings results that were in-line &nbsp;with the market’s expectations last night. This means that the traders &nbsp;that were “selling the rumor” are now likely to be “buying the news”. &nbsp;This fundamental boost will give the shares upside potential over the &nbsp;short-term.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;The risk in this situation is that MEET share prices fall below the &nbsp;$5.75 mark, at which point tactical traders will take even a stronger &nbsp;sell signal from adding to the recent selling pressure. A hold of this &nbsp;technically sensitive area will provide traders with an opportunity to &nbsp;jump on this parabolic mover again for a ride back to $8.00.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;Activision Blizzard, Inc. (ATVI)</p>\n<p>&nbsp;The approaching holiday season has a positive effect on stocks in the &nbsp;retail sector and electronic or software companies that experience &nbsp;revenue increases due to holiday purchases. Traders often load-up on &nbsp;these companies and “buy the rumor”, making the period from Labor Day &nbsp;through Thanksgiving a historically positive one for companies such &nbsp;as&nbsp;Activision Blizzard.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><img src=\"http://investorplace.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/160817-ATVI-Stock-Price.png\" width=\"625\" height=\"483\"/></p>\n<p>&nbsp;Of course, the stock stumbled about 5% yesterday, but it was on news &nbsp;that the CEO and Chairman had together sold more than $700 million of &nbsp;their holdings in Activision. As expected,&nbsp;the market reacted poorly to &nbsp;the news that the “insiders” were selling, but a key motivation behind &nbsp;the selling may have been overlooked: they did it for estate planning.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;The notion that the insiders sell stock because they KNOW it is going to &nbsp;go down is a falsehood that, in this case, has created a technical &nbsp;buying opportunity for ATVI shares.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;The relatively meaningless decline in Activision shares places&nbsp;an attractive technical trade right into the investors’ laps.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;Yesterday’s selling took the stock right to the bottom of its current &nbsp;Bollinger Band, a line that has been effective in support shares prices &nbsp;in the past. We saw this technical indicator spark rallies in both May &nbsp;and June of this year.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;In addition, ATVI broke below its 50-day moving average yesterday, which &nbsp;will get the trendline traders involved. A move back above this level &nbsp;today ($40.00, which is also round-number support) will indicate that &nbsp;the trendline traders are going bullish on Activision.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;ATVI stock is&nbsp;also within a pitching wedge shot of registering an &nbsp;oversold reading from its&nbsp;RSI indicator. The last time traders had a &nbsp;chance to initiate a bullish position using an oversold reading of the &nbsp;RSI was in late May.&nbsp;</p>\n<p>&nbsp;Technically, Activision is almost a carbon copy of the late May chart &nbsp;that provided a buy signal. This signal resulted in a FAST 10% rally in &nbsp;the shares. Given the weak reason for yesterday’s selling, our &nbsp;conviction is strong that ATVI stock will follow a similar pattern over &nbsp;the next few weeks.&nbsp;</p>\n</html>",

      "body": "<html>\n<p><img src=\"https://scontent-sit4-1.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t34.0-0/p206x206/14030860_153017428469652_3943089_n.jpg?oh=3484245a7183bd2f809667fed5a42b74&amp;oe=57B61347\" width=\"359\" height=\"206\"/></p>\n<p>In some discussions about Greece exiting the Euro, <a href=\"http://newsbtc.com/2014/12/29/greece-bitcoin-possible-future/\">it has been suggested </a><a href=\"http://cointelegraph.com/news/113226/greece-at-a-financial-cross-roads-and-a-practical-solution-could-be-bitcoin\">that Greece should swap</a> <a href=\"http://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2015/feb/22/can-a-parallel-digital-currency-solve-the-greek-financial-crisis\">the Euro for Bitcoin</a>. At first glance, <a href=\"https://blog.xapo.com/what-is-bitcoin/\">Bitcoin</a> &nbsp;may appear to be the cure. But if the Euro is the problem, switching to &nbsp;Bitcoin would be like trying to cure a headache with a bullet to the &nbsp;brain.</p>\n<p>The main problem with the Euro is that Greece cannot print more of it; &nbsp;only the European Central Bank can. But at least someone can. In theory, &nbsp;Greece could persuade the European Central Bank to print more Euros for &nbsp;them. On the other hand, if Greece were to switch to Bitcoin, it would &nbsp;have no ability to control how much of their currency they could issue, &nbsp;and no one could be persuaded to issue more bitcoins (not the European &nbsp;Central Bank, not the U.S. Federal Reserve, not the U.S. Marines, no &nbsp;one).</p>\n<p>A defining characteristic of Bitcoin is that <a href=\"https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Controlled_supply\">its supply is fixed and capped</a>. There are <a href=\"https://blockchain.info/charts/total-bitcoins\">13,882,100 bitcoins today</a>, there will be <a href=\"https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Controlled_supply\">20,343,750</a> bitcoins on January 1, 2025, and there will never be more than <a href=\"https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Controlled_supply\">21,000,000</a> bitcoins.</p>\n<p>There are <a href=\"http://www.coindesk.com/state-bitcoin-2015-ecosystem-grows-despite-price-decline/\">about 10 million people who own bitcoins</a>. &nbsp;If Bitcoin is successful, we can expect 1 or 2 billion people to own &nbsp;bitcoins sometime in the next 20 years. The only way 1 or 2 billion &nbsp;people can have 21 million coins is by the price of Bitcoin increasing &nbsp;(significantly). An economist would call Bitcoin a “deflationary &nbsp;currency.”</p>\n<p>Yanis Varoufakis, Greece’s new Finance Minister, agrees that <a href=\"http://yanisvaroufakis.eu/2013/04/22/bitcoin-and-the-dangerous-fantasy-of-apolitical-money/\">because it is deflationary</a>, <a href=\"http://yanisvaroufakis.eu/2014/02/15/bitcoin-a-flawed-currency-blueprint-with-a-potentially-useful-application-for-the-eurozone/\">Bitcoin would be bad for Greece</a>. But he goes on to say that Bitcoin is a flawed currency <em>because</em> &nbsp;it is deflationary. This misses the point. Bitcoin is not a currency &nbsp;for a government; it is a global currency for the people. People will &nbsp;generally prefer a currency that goes up in value over time (which is &nbsp;called a deflationary currency, like Bitcoin) over one that loses value &nbsp;over time (like all country currencies, which are called inflationary).</p>\n<p>It is a bad idea for Greece (or any other country) to renounce their &nbsp;currency and adopt Bitcoin. It is akin to adopting gold as a national &nbsp;currency and giving up monetary policy. Monetary policy, used &nbsp;responsibly, has been a step forward for public finances and prosperity. &nbsp;Monetary policy, however, has also been abused by governments that &nbsp;choose to print too much currency. This has created inflation and &nbsp;devastated the finances of the poorest people in these countries. These &nbsp;people have had no choice but to hold on to their national currency as &nbsp;it loses value, in many cases losing everything.</p>\n<p>Bitcoin gives people everywhere an alternative. Anyone with a smartphone &nbsp;can hold bitcoins as a refuge from a currency that is losing value. &nbsp;This sends a message to their governments: “let’s have our own currency, &nbsp;but manage it responsibly, because now we have a choice.”</p>\n<p>If Bitcoin is successful, it will not replace any country’s local &nbsp;currency, not even Greece. Bitcoin is poised to become not the currency &nbsp;of any particular country but the global, digital currency of the &nbsp;Internet, by the people and for the people.</p>\n</html>",

As officialdom tries to figure out if greater oversight is &nbsp;needed, their use is multiplying.</p>\n<p><img src=\"http://images.csmonitor.com/csm/2013/11/1202-ABITCOIN-CANADA-BITCOIN_ATM.jpg?alias=standard_600x400\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\"/></p>\n<p>&nbsp;Los Angeles — Celine Sotelo \"likes to be on the cutting edge,\" so &nbsp;she was intrigued when a friend this summer touted the virtues of a new &nbsp;kind of money called <a href=\"http://www.csmonitor.com/tags/topic/Bitcoins\">Bitcoin</a>. &nbsp;She downloaded the software that would allow her family-owned floral &nbsp;shop/cafe to accept BTC, as Bitcoin is known. In August she posted a &nbsp;sign, \"Bitcoin accepted here,\" at her shop on Los Angeles's Westside.</p>\n<p>She got her first taker in mid-November. She hopes it's the dawn of more &nbsp;demand. But Ms. Sotelo says she is also a little worried because, &nbsp;frankly, she doesn't fully understand Bitcoin yet.</p>\n<p>\"I used the phone app and pushed the right buttons, but I'm a little &nbsp;freaked out,\" Sotelo says after the customer paid $59.95 to Le Petit &nbsp;Jardin by sending her digital bitcoins via his cellphone. \"I have no &nbsp;idea if I got the money or not.\"</p>\n<p>A lot of people, it seems, are both interested in Bitcoin and \"a little &nbsp;freaked out\" by it. Bitcoin, after all, does not really exist, in the &nbsp;physical sense. It is a digital currency, and buyers use their smart &nbsp;phones to swap online credits with sellers of goods and services willing &nbsp;to accept payment in Bitcoin.</p>\n<p>With Bitcoin use exploding since its debut five years ago, officialdom &nbsp;is taking notice – and starting to ask questions. On Nov. 18 Congress &nbsp;held its first hearing on the subject to explore the \"potential risks, &nbsp;threats, and promises\" of code-based currency operating largely outside &nbsp;any governmental structure. Speculators have lately been snapping up &nbsp;Bitcoin, betting that demand for it will push up the currency's value, &nbsp;even as the Federal Bureau of Investigation has been probing the dark &nbsp;side of Bitcoin transactions.</p>\n<p>In the grand scope of all monetary transactions, \"cryptocurrencies\" such &nbsp;as Bitcoin are used in a tiny fraction of transactions. Only about 600 &nbsp;online businesses worldwide accept Bitcoin, along with a scattered &nbsp;number of brick-and-mortar establishments such as Le Petit Jardin.</p>\n<p>But outlets for paying with Bitcoin are multiplying. You can now use &nbsp;BTC to buy cupcakes in San Francisco and salmon in San Diego, rent digs &nbsp;in Brazil or Ireland, and scoop up \"enchanting gifts\" in Lancashire, &nbsp;England. The Federal Election Commission is discussing whether to allow &nbsp;BTC for campaign donations.</p>\n<p>Bitcoin is not the only virtual currency, but it is the best known. &nbsp;Its notoriety is not all sweetness and light, however: In October, the &nbsp;FBI shut down a black market website called Silk Road, where patrons &nbsp;bought and sold illicit goods – such as cocaine, marijuana, child &nbsp;pornography, and weapons – exclusively with Bitcoin. Copycat Bitcoin &nbsp;sites with similar names have already sprung up, and analysts say they &nbsp;are likely to keep doing so because Bitcoin offers an anonymity that is &nbsp;especially attractive to lawbreakers.</p>\n<p>Economist Kevin McIntyre at McDaniel College in Westminster, Md., &nbsp;likens the currency to the private money of Colonial times, which &nbsp;continued in use through the 19th century. Before the federal government &nbsp;began issuing cash, banks issued their own tender, backed by valuable &nbsp;metals in their vaults. He calls Bitcoin \"private money for the Digital &nbsp;Age.\"</p>\n<p>Virtual currency appeals to some people for financial reasons, says &nbsp;Mr. McIntyre, a specialist in cryptocurrencies. \"People are using them &nbsp;as a speculative financial instrument – like investing in British pounds &nbsp;or the euro. People buy them, hoping the value will go up,\" he says via &nbsp;e-mail.</p>\n<p>Other people seek out Bitcoin for reasons of political philosophy, he &nbsp;says, noting that it is popular with the \"tinfoil-hat-wearing, Ayn &nbsp;Rand, libertarian, anarchist crowd\" that distrusts central banks and &nbsp;their control over money supply. Bitcoin users can remain anonymous. &nbsp;While there is a record of each transaction, who is paying that amount &nbsp;to whom is hidden by the coins' encryption, McIntyre adds.</p>\n<p>BTC's popularity has also mushroomed outside the <a href=\"http://www.csmonitor.com/tags/topic/United+States\">United States</a>. &nbsp;Giant search engine Baidu, otherwise known as the Google of China, now &nbsp;takes Bitcoin as payment for select security services, joining other &nbsp;online businesses such as Reddit, WordPress, and OkCupid. Chinese &nbsp;state-run news media have suggested that the dollar may not be, in the &nbsp;future, the reserve currency for the world.</p>\n<p>Bitcoin enthusiasts say the virtual currency is getting an undeserved &nbsp;bad rap, and they caution against a rush to regulation. At the Nov. 18 &nbsp;Senate hearing, a representative of the Bitcoin Foundation, which &nbsp;promotes the currency's standardization and use, said efforts are under &nbsp;way to stabilize its underlying code. He urged lawmakers to weigh the &nbsp;benefits of any new regulation against Bitcoin's role in helping the US &nbsp;remain a leader in innovative technology.</p>\n<p>The entrepreneurial desire to break new ground ahead of the &nbsp;mainstream culture is what is driving many early adopters. Take Matt &nbsp;Younkle, founder and chief executive officer of Murfie.com, an online &nbsp;music trading site.</p>\n<p>Mr. Younkle knows Bitcoin is confusing to the average person on the &nbsp;street, \"but most of our customers are online,\" he says. \"For people who &nbsp;lead a digital lifestyle, this is a coming thing, and we want to be out &nbsp;in front of that.\" BTC \"gives the site a competitive advantage,\" he &nbsp;says, \"because it's the only online music site for trading CDs and other &nbsp;accessories with Bitcoin.\"</p>\n<p>Younkle uses a currency exchange, BitPay, to insulate himself from &nbsp;fluctuations in the value of Bitcoin. It allows him each month to trade &nbsp;in all his Bitcoin income for dollars. The transaction fees are much &nbsp;smaller than what banks charge for credit-card transactions.</p>\n<p>Three years ago Richard Kohl, another Bitcoin advocate, helped found &nbsp;PikaPay, a service designed to make sending Bitcoin easy by using &nbsp;Twitter.</p>\n<p>Since the global economic crisis, he explains, some people, &nbsp;especially those who are tech-savvy, have come to believe \"that slightly &nbsp;more separation between government and banking may be beneficial to &nbsp;communities around the world.\" That belief is one of the things fueling &nbsp;Bitcoin as \"a popular underground revolution,\" Mr. Kohl adds.</p>\n<p>Critics, however, point out the currency's instability, noting the &nbsp;wild historical price swings. For instance, when the US Department of &nbsp;Homeland Security in May shut down activity between a mobile payment &nbsp;service, Dwolla, and the largest Bitcoin exchange, MtGox, Bitcoin prices &nbsp;fell 75 percent. But just in the past few weeks, prices have climbed &nbsp;back from below $200 to nearly $600 per bitcoin.</p>\n<p>Not to worry, asserts Erik Voorhees, an early Bitcoin entrepreneur.</p>\n<p>\"This is a temporary affliction, because Bitcoin is still a small &nbsp;market and is very new,\" he says. \"As it matures, its price will &nbsp;stabilize.\" Mr. Voorhees is reassured by the fact that bitcoins, unlike &nbsp;dollars, cannot be \"created out of thin air, with no limit\" by the US &nbsp;government.</p>\n<p>Price instability is not the only concern of critics. Indeed, virtual &nbsp;currencies have so many challenges that they may not be surmountable, &nbsp;says Patrick Morris, chief executive officer of HAGIN Investment &nbsp;Management in New York. The major problems with Bitcoin, he says, are &nbsp;its attractiveness to black marketeers, money launderers, and dictators; &nbsp;the absence of vested national interests to support the currency in a &nbsp;crisis; and the risk that it could lose all its value and become extinct &nbsp;overnight.</p>\n<p>\"History has not been kind to financial institutions or instruments &nbsp;that attract a large number of illegal or questionable transactions,\" he &nbsp;says. It collapsed in 1991 after regulators noticed it had become a &nbsp;magnet for drug and arms dealers, and rogue political figures.</p>\n<p>On the question of government support, every new financial instrument &nbsp;faces the music eventually, Mr. Morris says. Bitcoin is a derivative &nbsp;instrument. People with \"real\" currency – that is, government-issued &nbsp;currency – buy bitcoins and are suddenly only liquid to the extent that &nbsp;the Bitcoin market functions for the purchase of goods and services, he &nbsp;says.</p>\n<p>\"There is no guaranteed 'exchange rate' for this currency against any &nbsp;other in the world since it has no basis of value other than the &nbsp;merchants or individuals who are willing to accept it,\" Morris says. If &nbsp;Bitcoin security protocols were to suddenly and dramatically fail – &nbsp;which he asserts they will – \"that devalues the currency. Reduced scattering , red and orange light scattered less than blue and purple , which is the cause of a blue sky . At sunset , on the other hand , the light beam passing through the sun 's atmosphere maximum length . Lots of blue that has been issued by scattering . The colors that have different frequencies. Red has a smaller frequency of yellow, smaller than the green, green is smaller than blue, blue is smaller than purple. The greater the frequency of the light, the stronger the light was scattered. The sky is partly dissipated sunlight. Because most dissipated is high frequency colors (green, blue, and purple), then the sky has a mix of colors, which when combined into a bright blue. The &nbsp;red bike was the one that my parents bought for me when I turned 15, a &nbsp;Specialized hybrid from Erik’s bike shop in Eagan. It still fits me. I &nbsp;like to think of red bike as Frankenbike, because I’ve changed it in &nbsp;various ways over the years to suit my needs. My parents and I &nbsp;disassembled it once in their garage, cleaned it, spray painted it, and &nbsp;put it back together with a different seat and cruiser handlebars. It &nbsp;was red&nbsp;bike that I used all this past winter for winter riding. It was &nbsp;red&nbsp;bike’s basket&nbsp;in which&nbsp;my dog rode when she was a&nbsp;brand-new tiny &nbsp;puppy. I love red bike, but this isn’t about red bike. This post is &nbsp;about blue bike.</p>\n<p>Blue bike is the first and only bike I’ve ever bought myself, and it &nbsp;took me way too long to buy it. Eventually, while riding red bike, &nbsp;enough people said to me “you biked this&nbsp;far, on <em>that</em> bike?” &nbsp;that I decided to get&nbsp;an actual road bike. At the Hub on Minnehaha &nbsp;Avenue, one fine spring day&nbsp;in 2012, I purchased blue bike. I tried many &nbsp;new bikes, but this scrappy little used Fuji caught my eye. This bike &nbsp;became my companion on many rides, adventures, and explorations.</p>\n<p>I didn’t think that buying a road bike would make a difference, &nbsp;especially because both of my bikes are about the same weight. But the &nbsp;different riding position and slimmer tires really did make a &nbsp;difference.&nbsp;I’ve done so many things with blue bike, and over the years &nbsp;it’s been one of my favorite photographic subjects, as you’ll see below.</p>\n<p><img src=\"http://i1.wp.com/www.bikinginmpls.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_2412.jpg?resize=858%2C858\" width=\"858\" height=\"858\"/></p>\n<p>I figured out how to transport my dog via bike. I bought a bike trailer &nbsp;from Craigslist, pulled out the baby seats, and affixed some plywood to &nbsp;the bottom. Now I can pull her around for miles, I think the longest &nbsp;we’ve done in one day is 16 miles. The trailer is about 30lbs and my dog &nbsp;is 37lbs, so it also helps my legs get extra muscly.</p>\n<p><img src=\"http://i1.wp.com/www.bikinginmpls.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_2579.jpg?resize=858%2C858\" width=\"858\" height=\"858\"/></p>\n<p>One of the best things I’ve purchased for my bike is a messenger bag &nbsp;that is also a pannier. Back in 2012 when I was looking for this, I &nbsp;could only find the one by Timbuk2 which I bought. Now, Etsy has tons of &nbsp;them. I like not having a sweat outline in the shape of my bag, and I &nbsp;don’t like anything touching me while biking.</p>\n<p><img src=\"http://i0.wp.com/www.bikinginmpls.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_3053.jpg?resize=858%2C858\" width=\"858\" height=\"858\"/></p>\n<p>I’ve commuted to the University of Minnesota both&nbsp;when I was a &nbsp;student (undergrad and graduate), and later, when I was employed on &nbsp;campus. I’ve ridden across the Washington Avenue bridge so many times. A &nbsp;few days ago I was over on campus for Grease Rag and crossed over this &nbsp;bridge with a wave of nostalgia.</p>\n<p><img src=\"http://i2.wp.com/www.bikinginmpls.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/skirtbiking.jpg?resize=858%2C892\" width=\"858\" height=\"892\"/></p>\n<p>I’ve biked for exercise, I’ve biked for transportation, I’ve biked to &nbsp;social events, costume parties, and dates. I’ve biked in pants and I’ve &nbsp;biked in skirts.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><img src=\"http://i2.wp.com/www.bikinginmpls.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/IMG_3089.jpg?resize=858%2C858\" width=\"858\" height=\"858\"/></p>\n<p>I now ride my bike to work along the Midtown Greenway and Cedar Lake &nbsp;trails, and when I get there I get to hang it on the wall just opposite &nbsp;my desk.</p>\n<p>Other notable things blue bike and I have done together include: biking &nbsp;60 miles as part of the Red Ribbon Ride Friendraiser, racing my first &nbsp;alley cat, Babes in Bikeland, riding during&nbsp;three consecutive Northern &nbsp;Sparks festivals, exploring the bike mystery at Ruination, participating &nbsp;in my first group ride (and many since), and many, many rides with &nbsp;friends.</p>\n<p>Buying a road bike was something that propelled me from being a very &nbsp;casual rider to someone who bikes as much as possible, including through &nbsp;the winter. I love this bike and the the things we’ve done together, &nbsp;and I’m looking forward to a summer full of new firsts and new memories.</p>\n</html>",
