| body | It’s a wild comparison, but so true. Falling in love and placing a big bet both give you that rush, that uncertainty. I’ve been playing casino games for a while now, and it’s taught me a thing or two about balance. Every time I go through my [ixbet casino login](https://x1bet-nigeria.com), I remind myself to treat it like a hobby, not a fix. If you're new, start small and take time to learn the rules. Games like blackjack or roulette can be fun if you don’t chase losses. Like love, the key is knowing when to hold on and when to walk away. |

| body | I've been a fan of this American blogger slash author of a famous new york times bestseller self-help book: THE SUBTLE ART OF NOT GIVING A FUCK." This blog is a re-echo of what he is trying to point out about "What PURPOSE really means".. in which I found myself so resonated with. What is Life Meaning and Purpose? And Why does it matter?? PURPOSE is a concept that's often misunderstood by everyone. While others are asking what are their true calling, or what really makes them happy, .. What they are really referring to is something very profound and complex. The truth is… PURPOSE is just something you make up in your mind. It's essentially deciding that something is important and then doing it because you feel IT IS IMPORTANT. So in that sense, you can literally find purpose anywhere. For instance.. You can find purpose in doing the dishes, throwing out the trash. You can find purpose in studying, watching TV, reading books or even going on a date with your girlfriend/boyfriend. You can find purpose on cooking yummy meals, doing the exercise once a week, you can find purpose in building good relationships with your co-workers. What I mean is you can find purpose even in mundane tasks. What I find is that, when people are asking questions about purpose or searching for purpose, .. ..really what they're asking is " I WANT TO FIND AN IMPORTANT USE OF MY TIME." "I WANT TO SPEND MY LIFE DOING SOMETHING THAT FEELS MEANINGFUL, SOMETHING THAT DOESN'T MAKE ME FEEL LIKE A DUMB DOING IT." "I WANT TO DO SOMETHING IMPORTANT THAT I CAN BE PROUD OF." And the reason why PURPOSE is important is because a lot of the low level tactical stuff that people come to personal development for, are actually solved by this purpose question. --- PURPOSE is an ONGOING CREATION. It is NOT something you find. You're not looking under a rock and say "Oh fuck! There's my purpose! So glad I found it." No, that's not really the case.. PURPOSE is something that you create and you maintain and sometimes you lose.. and you're gonna have to create it again. Furthermore, it is NOT true that there is only a single purpose for each of us. It is not true at all whether you've been reading thru other self help books out there. You can have many, many purposes in your life. You can find purpose in being a Mom to your kids, a wife to your husband, a good employee in your job. You can find purpose in being Catmom / Catdad to your pet. You can find purpose and meaning in Romantic relationship with your longterm partner. And so on. So meaning and purpose comes from a lot of different areas of our life. And I would even say that it is healthy to diversify our sense of purpose throughout our life. Just like the way we diversify our money investments to prevent tragic misfortune, we need to diversify our sense of purpose too, otherwise we might go insane in dealing with the grief. If you're only getting purpose and meaning from ONE THING, and that thing is taken away from you, well you're doomed. Then you're gonna have a deep existential crisis and feel like your life now is meaningless. This is why some people who lack proper coping and comforting would go either commit suicide or go insane. But if you're able to derive from multiple sources of purpose throughout your life, and then one of them is taken away from you, then you can fall back on the other sources of meaning and purpose. So the idea that we have one true calling in the world or we have only one true love throughout our lifetime is bullshit. You can find any career you want as long as you can do the job well.. You can still find someone to love and who can love you even after your exes dumped you … as long as you're alive. Life purpose goes on. |

| title | WHAT AN AUNT MEANS TO ME: Dedicated to my dear Auntie Susan |
| body | ## You know that person who has been there for you since the day you were born... ## She probably one of those people who first held you in the arms and welcomed you to the world... ## A family member probably either from your Mom 's or Dad's side who is always coming in clutch whenever your parents needed them.

She's one of those people who witness your growth and development. She likely witnessed your first walk then treated your knee wound whenever you fall over. And someone who played an important role in your life. . someone who keeps spoiling you with love and attention like a mother. If you're living with an Aunt all your life you might resonate with me by the time you finished reading this. She is AUNTIE SUSAN. . . is 57 years old living off us.. because she has been broke and lived in poverty all her life. She never had kids, not even a lifetime partner who would've looked after her. I know this may sound subjective but she is the kindest person I've ever known. She was the one who reared me into a better and responsible person at an early age... when my Mom had to left me to her custody to work in another country. She has been like a second mother to me. She has been living with us through ups and downs. She taught me how to create a strong foundation with God. She taught me how to communicate with HIM through prayers. There was a time when life got tough for us when All people and other relatives have turned their backs against us except her. She was indeed supportive. She never left my Mom alone the times she needed her. She was more than a family. As I grew into an adult, she was the mediator every time I picked a fight against anyone. She was my defender and confidant who always keeps me company She was the one who wiped my tears when I was at the rock bottom of depression that nearly killed me. Just like my mother, she always gives me strength and hope to keep going. Even at times when I felt like the world has been so harsh to me. and the words she keeps on saying up to this day hit me: ##
"Tiwala lng sa Dios dai... dyan tayo nabubuhay."
which means: ##
Trust to God, He is the one who gives us life and strength."
------------------------------------------- When I left the city to get rid of the emotional pain caused by my past experiences, she was the only one who wept tears.. she got separation anxiety of not seeing me for the next 2 years. She hugged me so tight as if I was not going to keep in touch with her. By the time I got into another country for work and self healing, I went through a lot. I had been through a hellish ride in my miserable career that led me to self-isolate and disconnecting myself from social media. For almost 2 years, we never talked for hours through phone but only brief exchanging chats with each other. She kept many things to herself until one day my Mom told me frankly that she has been ill. In November 2019, she almost died due to severe bleeding in the Urinary Bladder. We saved her life by supporting her hospital bills and emergency surgery. Had we forsaken her, she would've died way too soon. On top of that, there were only me, my Mom and my sister were willing to help her despite having serious financial struggles. ------------------------------- I honor my Auntie Susan so much. I value and cherish every moment she's with us. and up to this day, we will never give up supporting her needs and providing her the love and care just like the way she cared for us.

|

| title | Midnight Thoughts # 1: What Keeps a Person from Succeeding? |
| body | You might have overheard someone saying that the reason why a person doesn't succeed in life at all is because of "the lack of circumstantial opportunities that make it happen", or "the lack of support system", "poverty", "disability", and goes on and on... Yes, it is easy to envy those people we know who seemed to earn overnight success. To people who were born with a silver spoon in their mouth. (How easy their life is? eh). It is so easy to scoff at their convenient and hassle-free life while looking at yourself as if a peasant working your ass off to survive. But that's not really the case. I know I am old enough to get hooked with the Kpop idols and I know this is a cringe alert. *(I'm not promoting a certain band but I'd like to make them as an example of what I'm trying to emphasize.)* The most successful Kpop groups such as BTS and Blackpink have obviously dominated the entertainment industry all around the world. Not only with their gorgeous looks but their amazing and unique TALENT in dancing and singing. It may seem underrated for those who knew someone does better than them but their success stories have inspired many people to bring it on in life and never give up. There's something distinctive about them that millions of people adore. It was not an overnight success for them if you'd listen to their interviews. In fact, they had to go through a very tough and harsh experience before they had even made it to the top. They had sleepless nights and body injuries as they went on the training at the entertainment agency. Even faced tons of insults by strict mentors and had been told: "they're not good enough" (while they're obviously innately talented) Most aspiring idols they went with during the training period didn't make it to the last stage of hardships. Either they gave up too soon or convinced themselves it wasn't really for them in the first place. Talent alone wasn't enough to become a Kpop idol. It requires unwavering determination and persistence in achieving success. Even if they had to experience the downsides of taking that path. Achieving REAL SUCCESS needs focus and the right attitude. Other examples of the living proof of success are those best-selling book authors, multi-millionaire freelancers, entrepreneurs, chefs, athletes, doctors ...you name it, have made it to the top with **consistency**, **determination**, and **humility**. They might have failed once, twice, BUT they never gave up. This boils down to a saying :
*" You can be extremely talented, have incredible potential. But if you don't have the RIGHT ATTITUDE and PASSION to use your talents, it will keep you from rising higher."*
And that makes sense. Now, if you are asking to yourself where do you start.. Just reminisce that certain ambition you had been thinking about.. Something that really matters to you, something that believes in that you are capable of doing it. FOCUS ON IT. AND JUST MAKE AN EFFORT TO PURSUE YOUR AMBITION. OVERNIGHT SUCCESS DOESN'T EXIST. |

| title | THE LAMENTATIONS OF A WOMAN BEHIND TALL WALLS |
| body |
https://i.imgur.com/1FV8FXo.jpg
# "... 2 years ago, I promised myself to be immune from any heartbreak ever again, until I realized I have been unconsciously building my tall walls." People would tell me I was being too sensitive and shallow every time I narrate about my break up story. They think all people have experienced sorrow in Love and my experience is not uncommon. They would say some people went through a lot more than I do. I can give that a YES. There is no people in the world who has never encountered heartbreak. But the thing is, **PAIN** is subjective. You cannot really rate the pain scale of someone who has "actually" felt it. People have different pain threshold. That's the truth. Therefore it's a NO when they tell it is so easy to mend a broken heart. In fact, that's not really the case especially for someone who is an introvert. It may be embarrassing to admit that it took me 2 years for me to move on from my sorrowful past. Been doing all the means in the world to get over from it "which were obviously to no avail" until I came to a point of stoicism and indifference. I had come across people along the process of moving on. Every single time I get invited to meet up with someone new (a suitor), there's a devil inside me saying that : ##
" I am unlikeable"
##
"People would just come and go."
##
"All people are just nice at the start."
##
"You cannot go along with that person because you're a freakin weirdo. That's why you had always been left behind."
##
"No one wants to get around with an introvert like you."
##
And yadah... yadah.. yadah...
I always presume to myself that any person I come across will just be another big mistake. And moving towards them will mean wasting another precious time of my life. So there I went on, being a skeptical while getting along with the person trying to know more a bit of me. This has been a cycle for 2 years straight. What makes it worse is that I have not been active on all of my social media accounts. I don't search for another love interest not had even entered in a dating site. I don't market my availability on my newsfeed Not even posting appealing images of me. My Facebook was just a mere medium for my family and close friends to reach out at me anytime while I'm miles away. I have been living a private life for 2 years without a single hint of new relationships. I have been living behind tall walls so scared of showing up to another person who would likely ruin my life for the nth time by breaking my fragile heart. ==================== I feel so weird af... I would pray to have someone who loves me unconditionally and genuinely and then when someone shows up, I would chicken out.. Then the pessimist side of me would delve through my accumulated MENTAL NOTES about relationships. Here's what's going on inside my head:
https://i.imgur.com/LqPfdjn.png
As the person would slowly get close to me, I would slowly wrap my heart with layers of protection (the pent-up doubts). Trying to keep my heart off falling in love. This may seem strange and insane but it seems I'm starting to develop such a reflex every time an imminent relationship slowly building up. =================================== These people wanting to love me never lasted long in my life. They just faded away until they vanished. They got tired of me. They couldn't accept the fact that all I could offer to them is platonic relationship. It feels so neutral and good not to feel devastated by anyone. Not getting hurt. Just plain heart. Feeling nothing. Feeling Numb. But all of the sudden, tears would trickle from my eyes, feeling weird, feeling extremely empty and sad... Because If I would look back along the way of my recovery, I realized I have been building up such tall walls for me to the point I could no longer feel what it's like to be in love, and what it feels like being loved. So crazy. I feel so numb and yet still hurt for being alone. Wants to be with someone but is so afraid to do so. Needs love but is afraid of getting hurt. No wonder, I am still single at 30. |

| title | THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING |
| body |
https://i.imgur.com/UnzPzK6.jpg
## Our mind is a huge mental factory. Since it is powerful, it has the ability to attract either good or bad things. ## It is also like a magnet that attracts what you think most of the time. ## When you think of bad things to happen, then bad things will likely happen. ## If you deposit negative thoughts in your mind, it will validate those thoughts by manifesting negative circumstances around you. ## So if you happen to think about something negative which pops on your head, try diverting your thoughts by deliberately shutting down your mind then channel it to think about good things in life. ## I couldn't agree more with the saying :" TRAIN YOUR MIND TO SEE THE GOOD IN EVERYTHING". ## Since that's how our mind actually works. ## On the other hand, if you keep thinking about positive thoughts, good things will manifest without you even knowing. ## You are going to attract positive outcomes once you start looking at things differently. ## Our mind is very powerful and superior. There's no doubt why it is intended to be placed at the topmost part of the human body. ## Our life depends on the quality of thoughts we have. So instead of instilling poison in our minds, fill it with positivity and inspiration. |

| title | So, How I was while staying here? |
| body | I've been asked a lot about how I was doing doing here in qatar. Since I don't usually post my life updates on Facebook, people have been wondering what I've been up to. If there is one significant thing that happened in my life while staying in this arab country is "SELF AWARENESSS". I was never aware of my strengths and weaknesses until I got to work here. I was never enlightened about life as it is and I found out that I had learned all of this too late. Back then, I admit I was oblivious about what really life is. I thought about this erroneous belief that if I go abroad and work as a nurse, I'll get myself financially secure. But TBH that's completely a LIE. This how my realization goes: "If you are working on a job, might as well you surely love every bit that you do. Otherwise, you'll be living a hellish life. It is important that you have at least two of these pillars of an ideal career: PASSION, PURPOSE and PROFIT. I know it's so rare to have those 3 a at the same time. But at least, you must have at least 2 of those. " If you only have one certain reason to stay for that job you gotta have to talk to yourself. Just like what happened to me here. I realized, i didn't like anymore the purpose of my career it serves, I have no longer passion to do every bit of my job. Despite receiving a monthly salary that paid off my bills. To me, it is a life of living hell. Because i DON'T ENJOY MY JOB. I dread everyday going to work and it is not good. I have been living and working like a hamster on a wheel which anytime can be dead in a snap. That's it. I am actually working on my way out of this. I've been thinking about my future plans and hopefully they will all work out at the perfect time. |

| title | LOOKING AT THE OLD ALBUM |
| body | While I was browsing on my old accounts, I came across old pictures that sum up how happy I was in the past. Although I have already moved on, i still feel a lil ache inside me. I suddenly remember myself enjoying the time of my life where I don't have to worry about anything. Everyday back then was an adventure. Everyday at work is something to look forward to. And every weekend would be exhilarating. Looking back to my previous life 3 years ago, I found out that I was at the comfort zone where i enjoy EVRY BIT of my job. I never complain about anything except of being a lil pessimistic about petty things. I magnified myself under the microscope, I realize I value my free time more than the job itself. That traveling isn't a luxury but a necessity to get by everyday. Back then, I used to be guilty after having a sumptuous meal and traveling to different places. But I discovered It's indeed a human necessity. One must not deprive herself of freedom and joy while working hard for a living. Because life is too short. And one must follow what her heart desires even if it means sacrificing something. Since I spend most of my time at work, might as well I'd better look for another. job after this which is in line with my values and principles. I don't need to sacrifice my happiness and freedom for the sake of security. I value happiness and abundance over slavery and scarcity. I may be miserable now with the career that I have, but rest assured this isn't going to last for a long time. If I was deprived of happiness and abundance. I'm gonna have BOTH this time. I claim it. |

| title | HOW I GOT INTO COPYWRITING |
| body |
"I never got into copywriting until I work as an Overseas Filipino Worker abroad"
Two years ago, I used to work for an old friend as a part-time content creator on her platform. I was working on a full-time job back then. However, I found to myself that I was so bad at Academic writing. I was not complying what she expected of me. I realized back then that Academic writing is something that is very challenging one to focus on, since there's no room for grammar mistakes. So after that time, I decided to finish one of her projects then quit. I opted to focus on my full-time job at that time since it required me to do so. First of all, english isn't my first language, and not even my second language since i came from a province in Philippines. I can only speak and write basic english just like other people in this world. But right now I am starting to learn and improve it by reading lots of books and speaking with colleagues in English. Although I am not like any other adept writer, I am quite fond of writing. Most of the time I write on my journal basically anything what my mind conceives. I write what I think most of the time. I love expressing myself through writing since it is my one way of relieving stress. So How did I really got into copywriting? I had this roommate whom I co-existed before she went back to our home country who really loves reading books. One time she brought me along to her errands until she opted to go to the famous bookstore in qatar. Arriving there, I found that they sell best seller books. And I found the ones I've always wanted to read "The Secrets of the Millionaire Mind". My fond of books started from that book. I have finished reading it from cover to cover. I realized many things about how to generate wealth. Then the next month, I came back to that bookstore alone and opted to buy another 3. As I roam around the book shelves, I came across this book :"The Psychology Of Selling". At first, I got intrigued with this book since it was displayed among the best sellers. One salesman recommended me to that book and he was it was a good read. I remember myself having this thought that "selling" is a difficult skill since it requires someone to be very persuasive and yet it is one of the skills that could make someone rich as discussed in the first book that I bought. Upon seeing this book, I remember I had the similar experience in the past when I was convincing the defiant mothers to have their babies vaccinated with the novel vaccine and it was indeed a tough experience. So I was pretty sure i could resonate with the book. Wanting to learn about the skill of selling and persuading, I bought The Psychology Of Selling outright. Having read the book, the salesman was right. The book was so interesting and very comprehensive. I learned a lot about how to get around selling to people with confidence and wit. It has helped me debunk my idea that "selling" is an embarrassing career. Meanwhile, I was starting to hate my job. Despite of having a strong desire to help people, I found that I don't wanna be a nurse anymore just what I had discussed on my previous blog. I was falling out of interest in my career for the heaviest reasons. Being desperate to get out of it, I searched down the internet about what are the ways to earn income online. Then I discovered this "copywriting". At first, I had no faintest idea what copywriting is. I kept searching on the web and I found out that it is selling / closing in print. I found it then interesting since it looks like it fits with my interests in writing. I like the idea of copywriting because first of all, it is writing the way you talk. Where a writer doesn't have to be academic in writing a content but being blunt and persuasive. Another thing is, the skill has something to do with what i was reading from which i learned many things about how to sell a product. For 4 months now, i am slowly integrating my learning time in copywriting. I enjoyed my learning process since I was able to easily understand the patterns and the tips of improving such skill. I am currently making most of my off duties in practicing and learning more about this new skill. I have crafted 3 samples already to include in my writing portfolio and I am hoping that this will get me somewhere to finding an online side-hustle. |

| title | WHY I AM QUITTING MY NURSING CAREER |
| body |
https://i.imgur.com/zD5Yz08.png
Nursing is one of the holistic and noble professions in the world which requires someone to have unshakeable passion to care people of various characteristics, age, race and status. Nursing career is a caring profession in which someone has to put the other's need first before her's. That is why I could not agree more if they say **NURSING** is not for everyone. It takes a real passion and *PATIENCE* to survive and thrive in this career. I am currently a home care nurse somewhere in this world but I have been serving the humanity for over 12 years now. For the span of those years, I have been switching fields. From hospital nurse, community nurse to being a home care nurse. As I looked back to those previous experiences, I realized how time flies so fast. Lots have been changed and so is my preference and values. It is kinda so sad to unveil the fact that I am planning to strike out of this career sooner. To other people, it seemed as if I am throwing the BIG opportunity now that Nurses have become in demand across the globe since the COVID 19 pandemic came up. Yes I know. It seems such a waste. And it hurts me the fact that I had never imagined myself making this ultimate decision until I was put in such miserable situation in which I am right now. But here are my point-of views: #
I Am in the Nursing Career for Wrong Reasons
To be honest, I really liked nursing when I had just graduated High School. My CSAT results tells it. Not only Nursing was comprised with Science-related subjects which I was interested in, I also liked the idea of caring people. At first, I wanted to become a Doctor. Not having enough funds to support myself, I chose Nursing course instead. There were a lot of courses to choose from in college, if I had just decided money wise. But I still ended up taking the Nursing course despite of my parents' financial constraints, because I had been following the *common flock*. So what do I mean by that?? Several Years ago, Nursing career had somewhat been a fad among freshmen students. It had been a known to laymen that Nursing is an in-demand job which could allow someone to earn lots of money especially if working abroad. The same thing I heard from my relatives who taunted me to take up nursing course. They said by being a Registered Nurse in the future, it would be easier for me to go abroad since one of them would assist me to get into it. Thus, they promised that they would assist me financially in my education. I don't know if you would agree with me, but being on Nursing Program in my old times gave such an impression to students that they belonged in a "smarter", "neat", and "well-off" club since Nursing course was one of the costly degrees in college and universities. Guess what, the University I enrolled in looked like a hospital filled of personnel in all-white uniforms. In addition to that, being an inferior student trying to assimilate with peers and not wanting to part with them, I enrolled myself to the Nursing. Funny isn't it? At my 4th year in nursing, I remember myself starting to question the path that I took. But I just continued because I could not afford to waste the time that I put in and the tuition fees my Mom had sacrificed. Fortunately, I actually became A Registered Nurse. I worked as a Hospital staff Nurse for the first 3 years of my career. However, from that experience, I realized that "this isn't me". I had this inkling that I would not definitely work as a nurse forever after I had experienced the most of the disadvantages at work. I know that there is no such Job as Perfect. Any job has its own pros and cons. But on my perspective as a hospital nurse, the disadvantages of Nursing outweighs the advantages. Now that I am a Home Care Nurse, I reminisced one of those bad days in clinical I ever had. My lame reasons to take up nursing course boils down to my present reason as a registered nurse: **TO EARN A LIVING** *I had a lot to say about my Home Care Career and why this experience became one of my incentives to quit Nursing. I'll explain it on my next blog.* Had I known the true insides of Nursing Career in the real world, I would not have chosen to be in that profession. Although i had enjoyed Nursing career at some point in my life which was being a Community Health nurse, I realized I became a nurse for wrong reasons. Working on a job to earn a living is GOOD, but if I am lacking strong passion to do it now, this career path is not going to last a lifetime. #
LONG HOURS OF WORK
There nothing worse than working on a job that I hate for very long hours!. One of my weaknesses in a job is having to work for more than 8 hours per day. Now that I am a home care nurse I work 12 hours per shift not including the 2 hours travel time to patient's house back and forth. What is more draining is I am only granted with 2 days off per week, sometimes, I would only have a **sleeping off** per week if the facility is understaffed. This does not apply to this field. It is often seen on all types of nursing career. You can just see how nurses at COVID 19 crisis have been so worn-out. Nurses are expected to work tirelessly for several hours since our career is expected to focus on patient-centered care. I remember myself working in a hospital for 3 years where I was forced to have over-time because of emergencies at work such as: *code blue*, *a huge wave of fatalities in the ER* and *understaffing*. The workload of nurses in a few hospitals at present from 8 hour per shift now became 12 hours per shift for lesser endorsements and maximizing patient care. It would be agonizing on my part since I don't have the sense of passion in bedside care for now. The longer hours I have to put up with, the more the work is killing my soul. It would not have been a problem if only I liked what I'm doing for several straight hours and it is allowing me to have a bladder break and have at least an hour to eat my lunch without a haste. #
It is Taking A Toll on my General Health
If you guys have experienced working on night shifts with irregular rest days, you would know what I am talking about. Working on night shifts does not only impair my physical health but also it messes up my sleeping pattern. I would be lucky enough if the house I would sleep in would be as quiet as the midnight. But tranquility and silence are not guaranteed if I am co-existing with people who are awake, up and about at daytime. TOO BAD, if I have a roommate or a family member who doesn't compromise for me to have a sound sleep. On the next few days, when I am scheduled on day shifts, it would be so hard for me to sleep at night since I was already accustomed to being awake at night. This is such an arduous problem if I only have 1 day *sleeping off*. (An unhealthy transition in which I had to work on day shift the next day after having the night shift). So imagine if I sleep at daytime from a tiring night shift, I would have been a night owl later on throughout the night. Oftentimes, what I get into by the time I arrive from a night shift job is noisy neighborhood and unnecessary disturbance from the people living with me. As a result, I would only have at least 3-4 hours of sleep at daytime on average. By not having enough sleep, I would feel weak and ill physically and mentally. #
SLAVERY
Although being a nurse cares and saves lives, it would also mean being a *slave* to several types of people in this scope of career. Like any slave in the world, it feels like I have to please these types of people just to survive my nursing career. And it is tiring and intolerable. ### TO THE PATIENT A nurse in a nutshell is a slave to patients, in a way that she has to be the a shock absorber of the patient's emotional, physical and mental stress. If the patient is mad and hostile I had to deal with it. So it would be not uncommon to get beaten up and yelled at at the same time. I have to take all kinds of stressors my patient emits including all the negativity and misery. And because they are ill, they do not care what would I feel if they will throw their load to me. On the physical aspect, I had to endure the physical stress at work to keep the patients safe and alive at my watch. I have to put off eating my meals if necessary especially if there is code blue , when someone needs immediate response or i need to attend the call light. I must also mention the physical risks that I face such as tolerating to lift the patients full body weight without using a Hoist because in my current assignment the patient refuses to use an assistive device when transferring from one place to another. As a result, I acquired chronic back pains and high risk for spinal injury. I realized that Patients in general lack the understanding what kind of stress a Nurse has to bear upon taking care of them. They have the **SENSE OF ENTITLEMENT** in a way that they get mad at me if I don't bring their cup of tea on time. They get admitted at the hospital demanding as if they are staying in a 5-star hotel without thinking if the nurse had even peed or eaten her lunch. You see, **patients are important**. But disrespecting me as if they own me puts me on a severe kind of emotional stress that does not easily get relieved by the time I go home at the end of the shift. Most of the time, I hardly go to sleep because I had been so preoccupied what could go wrong after my shift. * "Did I forget something?"* *"Didn't I missed anything on the chart?"* *"Has there anything been undocumented?"* *"Did I administer the medicines properly?"* *"WILL MY PATIENT MAKE IT THROUGH THE NIGHT?"* ### TO THE PATIENT'S IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBER While I attend to the patient's needs, there is one family member who thinks he knows better than I do to the point he interferes whatever nursing intervention I implement according to patient's needs and safety. So almost everytime I get myself into trouble because I had quarreled with the patient's relative whose opinions would put the patient to harm. He has written me off to the nursing service for a complaint against me. Of course, I then got told off for misbehaving at work and been asked to make an **Incident Report**. It is indeed so hard to make a content of an IR for a mistake **that is not obviously my fault..** ### TO THE PHYSICIAN I know you would say *"It is indeed your job"*. Yes I know. I AM AWARE with my duties and scope of practice the moment I recited the **The Nightingale's PLEDGE**:
https://i.imgur.com/2h1czPB.jpg
No wonder, that Nursing does not mean a separate profession. And it is nothing more than professional slavery. You see, nurses are indeed dependent to Physicians even though they have separate body of knowledge and scope of practice. Knowing that the physician is the one who makes orders for the patient's cure, I cannot go on working without having to refer to him first. Every single move that I make independently must be made known to the physician otherwise, I will be doing malpractice and I might insult his profession. (Maybe I'm just not a team-player kinda person) Not to be judgmental, It would not be hard if all doctors are nice and respectful. However, oftentimes, Doctors have a sense of dominance and acquired arrogance towards nurses. My suggestion / nursing intervention for example was not taken seriously by the doctor and when the patient worsens his condition, I am to be blamed. Another annoying for me is whenever I clarify a sloppy penmanship indicating an Order, the Doctor would rudely scold me for disturbing since he's probably in the middle of something. So I think some of the nurses would rather put off calling the attention of doctors for clarifying their orders than to risk themselves getting insulted on the phone call. Doctors are no different to patients and patient's relatives who tend to me become **emotional as well** especially if they are stressed out about saving lives. As a result, Nurses became the recipient of all sorts of displacement from irate doctors. Doctors by profession have strong desire to cure and revive patients. Some of whom are even after for a prestigious credit which is why they appear uptight. Have you ever been thrown at with a metal chart by a Doctor who was just mad at something? Yes, I have. And I acquired scratches on my skin for not being able to evade the metal chart. That happened when I was a post ICU staff nurse. If all the insults I had received from my Doctors in the past were lethal, I would have been dead by now. ### TO THE ADMIN AND NURSING UNIT This goes down to Nurse Supervisors, Headnurses and Admin Department, who change around the work rules and set up. Since they are at the higher position, they always have the right to impose unjust punishments to nurses they don't like. I'm not trying to generalized all of them, but most of them became *too personal* towards their nurses with their implementation. Standing for oneself as a Nurse by responding to a Chief Nurse for instance would mean cutthroat dealing with her. It happened to me several times, when I was trying to defend myself for being falsely accused of doing I did not do. I was put on straight duties without having off for straight 3 weeks. The schedule of course was made by the *upper* people. As a result, I got seriously sick and even contracted an infectious disease in the past. SUPERIORS are good , most folks are.. But when they get too personal . They seem unprofessional. ### TO THE CO-NURSES I'm not saying that all nurses at work are like that. Most of them are even like brothers and sisters to us. But what I'm emphasizing here is "BULLYING" It is good to get along with senior nurses ahead of us since they are the ones who will be teaching and orient us about how to get around the new job and hospital rules. However, if these "senior" nurses are insolent and arrogant , that's another story. You see, bullying is not only seen at schools, offices or sports but is also seen among newbie nurses working with a bunch of senior nurses. Bullying towards a newbie like me at that time would look like this: Getting unfair number of patients with unbalanced cases. "Would you ever survive taking care of 3 mechvent patients and a bunch of pediatric patients at the same time?" While the rest of whom are having the "Nonchalant cases". And these colleagues think that I deserve having these heavy workload so that I can learn and because they had been in the hospital LONGER than I had. Being blameworthy for a mistake committed by a colleague. Not getting help at times of too much business. Getting ostracized for being a "slow learner" someone who does not get things quickly. Getting introduced to another senior as a "talking donkey" when get asked to make verbal endorsement in the first day of work. I bet you have something to add up here... #
IT IS NO LONGER IN LINE WITH MY VALUES IN LIFE
To the people I know and whom who knows me very well in the beginning, they would probably question my decision. They would likely say I had wasted several years of education and hardworking just for lame reasons to quit. To be honest, I liked NURSING but in another aspect. I didn't mentioned in detail that I had been a community health nurse for 5 years which made up almost the bulk of my Nursing career. I like caring and helping people. And I liked it even more when i get to go to different places during home visits while meeting diverse kinds of people. I like helping people who appreciates my effort and purpose. I like making presentations among bunch of people through giving health teachings about basically what they need to know about health. I prefer serving a whole community aiming for an advantage that affects lives in large scale. And I prefer dealing patients way more different than the way I did as a hospital nurse. I like to keep a certain barrier between me and my patients and that is Professional Nurse-Patient relationship where people are partners, not bosses and slaves. I like working in touch of beautiful nature. I prefer driving around to go ahead seeing a patient while basking in the positive ambience outdoors. I do not prefer working anymore at night shifts. I could no longer tolerate long hours of work , not being vested with holidays and the other disadvantages that go along with this career. #
EMOTIONS
*"I never got to know myself more until I got assigned to a certain patient who has pushed my buttons."* In my early years as a Nurse, I was so tolerant with my patients since I understand how they felt. I used to be a patient too so I can pretty well resonate with them. However as time went by, I gradually understand deeply the essence of being a nurse. That is having an immense PATIENCE AND COMPASSION at ALL kinds of patients who come across me. When I got assigned to a patient who was rude and cocky, it was a harrowing ordeal to me. Being so ungrateful to my services, he managed to annoy me in so many ways that finally pushed my buttons. This patient was abusive in a way that compromised my safety and mental health which lead me questioned my attitude towards being a professional nurse. Overtime, I slowly relinquished my temper. I tend to have extreme anger and unstable emotions especially if I get physically exhausted at the same time. Therefore, there has been a time when I almost blow my resentment towards him in return. You see, that's how HARD nursing is. Being a NURSE is an EMOTIONAL JOB. As Nurses, we are dealing with all sorts emotions. Therefore a NURSE must be emotionally resilient even to a very rude and hostile patient otherwise he/ she might unlawfully offend the patient. Unfortunately, I discovered I did not have such a skill. I was not able to acquire that over many years. That's the problem. #
NEGATIVE ENVIRONMENT
I mentioned above that because I am a Nurse, I am dealing with different emotions. Which goes down to dealing with the Negative Environment. You might be wondering why I say that Being a Nurse means dealing with a negative environment. When You work whether in a hospital or at home, you are taking care of patient's whose prognosis are unknown. Most of them have been receiving medical treatments but were to no avail. Some of them are on the state of severe pain and discomfort. Guess what, as a nurse, You gotta deal with those negative emotions. You can then be spit out, hit at or worse yet verbally abused. You cannot appease them by saying "calm down" because they are just expressive human beings. Most of them do not care about what you feel after they blow all their frustrations towards you. In my case, I am fed up already with my patients throwing their tantrums which mostly delay my "have-to-do" nursing interventions. Administering medications to a difficult toddler or elderly while a call light goes off from a "close-watch" patients is never easy. I could not leave that patient when I am just in the middle of administering the meds in the process. The nursing environment has this subtle negativity no matter which way you look at it. For me, You are dealing with sick people whose illnesses brought them chronic pessimism in their minds. You have no idea whether that patient will make through the day so you have this vague anxiety throughout your shift. Based on my experience, I get uptight over the 12 hour shift. From heading to the workplace to the moment I close my eyes to sleep. You can pretty get my point if you have worked in a very busy hospital. Working as Nurse you gotta have a resilient spirit after receiving all sorts of negative vibes from the environment. Including the patient's family members who put high expectations on you that you should be giving your patient's the optimum nursing care. ------------------------- This decision of mine may seem lame for others. But to me it looks I am going to make a sound decision. Since I came up with this with at NEUTRAL emotion. I did not regret the whole experience as a NURSE since I got to contribute to humanity and to know myself more. That's the beauty of it. Choosing this career in the first place was a RIGHT decision. But at present.. it looks like it is no longer in line with my values and ambitions in my life. I would rather invest my efforts onto something more worthy of my time while enjoy doing other things outside of my daily job. |

And it is nothing more than professional slavery. \n\nYou see, nurses are indeed dependent to Physicians even though they have separate body of knowledge and scope of practice. \n\nKnowing that the physician is the one who makes orders for the patient's cure, I cannot go on working without having to refer to him first. \n\nEvery single move that I make independently must be made known to the physician otherwise, I will be doing malpractice and I might insult his profession. (Maybe I'm just not a team-player kinda person)\n\nNot to be judgmental, It would not be hard if all doctors are nice and respectful. \n\nHowever, oftentimes, Doctors have a sense of dominance and acquired arrogance towards nurses. My suggestion / nursing intervention for example was not taken seriously by the doctor and when the patient worsens his condition, I am to be blamed. \n\nAnother annoying for me is whenever I clarify a sloppy penmanship indicating an Order, the Doctor would rudely scold me for disturbing since he's probably in the middle of something. \n\nSo I think some of the nurses would rather put off calling the attention of doctors for clarifying their orders than to risk themselves getting insulted on the phone call. \n\nDoctors are no different to patients and patient's relatives who tend to me become **emotional as well** especially if they are stressed out about saving lives. As a result, Nurses became the recipient of all sorts of displacement from irate doctors. \n\nDoctors by profession have strong desire to cure and revive patients. Some of whom are even after for a prestigious credit which is why they appear uptight. \n\nHave you ever been thrown at with a metal chart by a Doctor who was just mad at something? Yes, I have. And I acquired scratches on my skin for not being able to evade the metal chart. That happened when I was a post ICU staff nurse. \n\nIf all the insults I had received from my Doctors in the past were lethal, I would have been dead by now. \n\n### TO THE ADMIN AND NURSING UNIT\n\nThis goes down to Nurse Supervisors, Headnurses and Admin Department, who change around the work rules and set up. Since they are at the higher position, they always have the right to impose unjust punishments to nurses they don't like. I'm not trying to generalized all of them, but most of them became *too personal* towards their nurses with their implementation. \n\nStanding for oneself as a Nurse by responding to a Chief Nurse for instance would mean cutthroat dealing with her. It happened to me several times, when I was trying to defend myself for being falsely accused of doing I did not do. I was put on straight duties without having off for straight 3 weeks. The schedule of course was made by the *upper* people. \n\nAs a result, I got seriously sick and even contracted an infectious disease in the past. \n\nSUPERIORS are good , most folks are.. But when they get too personal . They seem unprofessional. \n\n\n### TO THE CO-NURSES\n\nI'm not saying that all nurses at work are like that. Most of them are even like brothers and sisters to us. \n\nBut what I'm emphasizing here is \"BULLYING\"\n\nIt is good to get along with senior nurses ahead of us since they are the ones who will be teaching and orient us about how to get around the new job and hospital rules. \n\nHowever, if these \"senior\" nurses are insolent and arrogant , that's another story. \n\nYou see, bullying is not only seen at schools, offices or sports but is also seen among newbie nurses working with a bunch of senior nurses. Bullying towards a newbie like me at that time would look like this:\n\nGetting unfair number of patients with unbalanced cases. \"Would you ever survive taking care of 3 mechvent patients and a bunch of pediatric patients at the same time?\" While the rest of whom are having the \"Nonchalant cases\". And these colleagues think that I deserve having these heavy workload so that I can learn and because they had been in the hospital LONGER than I had. \n\nBeing blameworthy for a mistake committed by a colleague.\n\nNot getting help at times of too much business. \n\nGetting ostracized for being a \"slow learner\" someone who does not get things quickly. \n\nGetting introduced to another senior as a \"talking donkey\" when get asked to make verbal endorsement in the first day of work. \n\nI bet you have something to add up here...\n\n\n\n \n#
IT IS NO LONGER IN LINE WITH MY VALUES IN LIFE
\n\nTo the people I know and whom who knows me very well in the beginning, they would probably question my decision. \n\nThey would likely say I had wasted several years of education and hardworking just for lame reasons to quit. \n\nTo be honest, I liked NURSING but in another aspect. \n\nI didn't mentioned in detail that I had been a community health nurse for 5 years which made up almost the bulk of my Nursing career. \n\nAnd I prefer dealing patients way more different than the way I did as a hospital nurse. I like to keep a certain barrier between me and my patients and that is Professional Nurse-Patient relationship where people are partners, not bosses and slaves. \n\nI like working in touch of beautiful nature. I prefer driving around to go ahead seeing a patient while basking in the positive ambience outdoors. \n\nI do not prefer working anymore at night shifts. I could no longer tolerate long hours of work , not being vested with holidays and the other disadvantages that go along with this career.\n\n#
EMOTIONS
\n\n*\"I never got to know myself more until I got assigned to a certain patient who has pushed my buttons.\"*\n\nIn my early years as a Nurse, I was so tolerant with my patients since I understand how they felt. I used to be a patient too so I can pretty well resonate with them. \n\nHowever as time went by, I gradually understand deeply the essence of being a nurse. That is having an immense PATIENCE AND COMPASSION at ALL kinds of patients who come across me. \n\nWhen I got assigned to a patient who was rude and cocky, it was a harrowing ordeal to me. Being so ungrateful to my services, he managed to annoy me in so many ways that finally pushed my buttons. \n\nThis patient was abusive in a way that compromised my safety and mental health which lead me questioned my attitude towards being a professional nurse. \n\nOvertime, I slowly relinquished my temper. I tend to have extreme anger and unstable emotions especially if I get physically exhausted at the same time. Therefore, there has been a time when I almost blow my resentment towards him in return.\n\nYou see, that's how HARD nursing is. Being a NURSE is an EMOTIONAL JOB. \n\nAs Nurses, we are dealing with all sorts emotions. Therefore a NURSE must be emotionally resilient even to a very rude and hostile patient otherwise he/ she might unlawfully offend the patient. \n\nUnfortunately, I discovered I did not have such a skill. I was not able to acquire that over many years. That's the problem. \n\n\n#
NEGATIVE ENVIRONMENT
\n\nI mentioned above that because I am a Nurse, I am dealing with different emotions. Which goes down to dealing with the Negative Environment.\n\n\nYou might be wondering why I say that Being a Nurse means dealing with a negative environment.\n\nWhen You work whether in a hospital or at home, you are taking care of patient's whose prognosis are unknown. Most of them have been receiving medical treatments but were to no avail. Some of them are on the state of severe pain and discomfort. \n\nGuess what, as a nurse, You gotta deal with those negative emotions. You can then be spit out, hit at or worse yet verbally abused. You cannot appease them by saying \"calm down\" because they are just expressive human beings. Most of them do not care about what you feel after they blow all their frustrations towards you. \n\nIn my case, I am fed up already with my patients throwing their tantrums which mostly delay my \"have-to-do\" nursing interventions. \n\nAdministering medications to a difficult toddler or elderly while a call light goes off from a \"close-watch\" patients is never easy. I could not leave that patient when I am just in the middle of administering the meds in the process. \n\nThe nursing environment has this subtle negativity no matter which way you look at it. For me, You are dealing with sick people whose illnesses brought them chronic pessimism in their minds. You have no idea whether that patient will make through the day so you have this vague anxiety throughout your shift. \n\nBased on my experience, I get uptight over the 12 hour shift. From heading to the workplace to the moment I close my eyes to sleep. \n\nYou can pretty get my point if you have worked in a very busy hospital. \n\nWorking as Nurse you gotta have a resilient spirit after receiving all sorts of negative vibes from the environment. Including the patient's family members who put high expectations on you that you should be giving your patient's the optimum nursing care. \n\n-------------------------\n\nThis decision of mine may seem lame for others. But to me it looks I am going to make a sound decision. Since I came up with this with at NEUTRAL emotion. I did not regret the whole experience as a NURSE since I got to contribute to humanity and to know myself more. That's the beauty of it. \n\nChoosing this career in the first place was a RIGHT decision. \n\nBut at present..\n\n it looks like it is no longer in line with my values and ambitions in my life.\n\nI would rather invest my efforts onto something more worthy of my time while enjoy doing other things outside of my daily job.",

| title | THE SECRETS TO SAVING MONEY AND WHY YOU SHOULD DO SO |
| body |
https://i.imgur.com/WS9tW4B.png
*Do you have this desire to save money but you end up not having any?* Or *Do you have a monthly salary coming in but you cannot get to start saving money because you think what you earn every month is never enough?* I have some key answers to that. You see, it is so easy to loose yourself getting tempted to spend on unnecessary things,.. Especially when you are exhausted at work and you have this feeling that you need to reward yourself at least. You find it so hard to save money when you are just a generous fellow with a benevolent heart to help out your family and love ones. I have been to that feeling. And guess what. It only lead me freaking **BROKE**.. I am not saying to you that you must be selfish to your love ones by being stingy with your money. What I’m telling is you have to set priorities. Imagine ... if you have no money left for yourself, how are you going to help them back. If you don’t pay attention to your basic needs first, how can you ever help on their basic needs in return. You cannot fill another cup with an empty cup. That make sense. In a nutshell, if you don’t have savings, how can you have a reserved bullet in times of war? You are the **weapon**, your savings is your **bullet**. .. Before I get down to talking about how to save money effectively, let me just enlighten you why you have to save money not only for yourself. ------------------------------------------------------- #
YOUR JOB IS UNRELIABLE

https://i.imgur.com/IiEP5LZ.png
*Are you working on a job you hate?* *Do you find yourself easily get into trouble with your workmates or your boss?* Then it’s time for you to establish a safety net once your job itself is going to kick you out suddenly. Basically, you cannot please anyone, not even your boss, and your clients. It is inevitable that you may not suffice their expectations of you. Because all people are not perfect, all people are capable of committing minor mistakes at work.
https://i.imgur.com/e9VDegO.png
You may be just accustoming yourself or assimilating into the work culture at the moment. However, there are just circumstances that are beyond your control. Such as sudden laying off of employees because the company had to do it for certain reasons. You may not see the trouble coming such as feud between you and the company you are working with and colleagues whom you misunderstood with. ### They both have the power to make you unemployed in just a snap. Worse will happen if you don’t have saved enough money for you to use to find another job vacancy. #
THE WORLD IS UNPREDICTABLE

https://i.imgur.com/fFWeHTI.png
No matter how secure your job may seem. There are still problems that will compromise your job security. Even if you have acquired a regular solid position at work, your job still does not guarantee you the the security because you are working paycheck to paycheck. Just like what happened to the world right now, when people across the world are suffering whose jobs and businesses are affected by the **COVID 19** crisis. The most of the jobs have been forced to stop because the company had to do it for the safety of everyone. ### Guess what happened to unemployed folks, their last resort was to beg on the streets in search of food, and going on debt to feed their dependents because they don’t have emergency funds. While some are not affected by the crisis, most people right now are making their way to selling things online not because of producing benefit to customers but for their own survival. Whether you like it or not that’s the truth. The **COVID19** may have made us reflect about life in general but there is one thing that gives us reminder. It is teaching us how to save for the rainy days next time we encounter an arduous crisis like this. #
OUR GENERAL HEALTH IS UNRELIABLE
Have you ever heard of the term : “RAT RACE?”
https://i.imgur.com/46H7X5x.png
---------------------------------------------------------------------
https://i.imgur.com/gv7fQUb.png
In a nutshell , you are on the rat race **right now**. ### You are living pay check to paycheck that means the moment you stop working, you stop earning money. So if you get sick haphazardly, you have to stop working and so is your income. If a machine gets worn out as years go by, so is our health. We are not immortal beings that are incapable of getting sick or capable of defying death.
https://i.imgur.com/oRZj1g5.png
Overtime, we get older and weaker at the same time. Time will come we get easily ill while at work especially if you had been doing your job for several years. Therefore, we must have savings to plant wise investments which will benefit us in the future. ————————————- ##
DISCLAIMER: Now that you have realized the importance of saving, you may be wondering how to start. You can actually search over the web on how to save money, you can even read some books about it. But the following methods I’m gonna show you are the proven effective ways that worked for me and for most people I know.
So here are the life hacks on how to save money effectively: #
THE POWER OF HABIT

https://i.imgur.com/ehrPrPE.png
Some people say thats saving money is so difficult especially if you don’t have that much salary every month, and saving is only for those who have no financial responsibilities. That is not true. Wouldn't you know that you can actually save money despite of having a minimum wage? Th truth is it is not how much money you save every month but it's all about maintaining that saving habit every month. **We are creatures of habit**. If you keep on doing that action over and over again you get accustomed to doing it. That action itself becomes a habit if you keep on repeating that.
https://i.imgur.com/xS0w1ue.png
The same as saving your money per month. Start allocating at least one peso per month. It may sound ridiculous at first. *“What can you actually benefit by just saving a coin every month?”* When you keep on doing that habit, you’ll get unsatisfied with how small it is so you increase that amount gradually. Until such time, you find yourself saving bigger amounts every month. You can do this the other way around. Let's say you are earning a certain amount of salary per month. Allocate a certain percentage of your salary to put on your piggy bank. It all depends on how much you want to put aside as long as you are maintaining that habit. However, you must habitually do this **BEFORE spending**. If you only save after spending, you may lose control of yourself. Thus, it might be too late to realize you’ve got to save! #
DELAYED GRATIFICATION
Saving money is nothing more than having self discipline. It is so easy to get tempted to spend anytime you want and as much as you want but if you are willing to sacrifice your personal pleasure, you will never fail. One of the secrets to saving money is practicing delayed gratification. If you know what you are saving money for and how much you badly need it the future, you will beat the spending temptations around you. You must allow yourself to sacrifice a bit , so that you are going to thank your future self and you get to achieve what you want. Let’s say you wanna buy something expensive while not going on debt. What you need to do is allocate a certain money every month to save up funds that will buy what you want. Be it something you want to have as a reward to yourself. This method applies also in building up savings for your future. If you are aiming at having a comfortable retirement by the time you get old, might as well you gotta start saving by now and start controlling your unhealthy spending habits. #
KNOWING WHAT YOU ARE SAVING FOR

https://i.imgur.com/njuDHim.png
Delaying gratification which is mentioned above boils down to knowing your reasons why you save money. You have to know what you are saving money for or else you’ll lose yourself in the process. You might have tried saving some on a piggy back but you ended up breaking it to buy frivolous stuff. It's because you don’t know the reason behind why you are dong it in the first place. It is not bad to save money to buy something you like as what I mentioned earlier. But if you don't put label on your savings it is definitely hard to start off. When you start saving, try putting label on your piggy bank or a savings can.
https://i.imgur.com/H2qS07a.png
In that way, you are aware where your money goes. By doing it, you are disciplining yourself to stick on saving habit. In the real world, if you are heading to financial freedom someday, you gotta have these three savings account: *CALAMITY FUND, EMERGENCY FUND AND RETIREMENT FUND*. You can search further about these 3 must-have funds in your life on the web. But let me just unpack these the simplest way: **Calamity Fund** is a savings that you will use if unforeseeable problem occurs, such as Natural Disasters, if you are being robbed, to repair a broken down car, sudden hospitalization or sudden death of a family member, etc. It is the amount of money which you can use for the situations that are beyond ur control **Emergency Fund** is a savings account which you can use to cover your basic needs for several months. Such as sudden unemployment, if you’ve been fired by your boss, a fund to use to apply for another job, to feed your unemployed love-ones in COVID 19 crisis, and so on. **Retirement Fund** is a savings account you can use at your old age or when you choose not to work anymore. This is basically Your Financial Freedom Account. #
REWARDING YOURSELF
This may hit you really hard. Saving money can get extremely boring if you found yourself living like a pauper. The reason why people fail to saving money is that they feel they are sacrificing “way too much”. They feel they are being too hard for themselves which is why some people will loose themselves by breaking down the piggy bank to suffice pent up desires. As I mentioned earlier, it doesn't matter how small money you save as long as you are starting off the habit. Now, what you are going to do is to reward yourself each time you do the saving. You can reward yourself by spending a certain amount of money to buy the food that you want or a small stuff you want to acquire. You cannot be guilty by doing this as long as it is inexpensive and affordable. In short, you have to have FUN SAVINGS ACCOUNT. It doesn’t matter how much you allocate for your pleasures. The purpose of doing so is to “make saving money fun and exciting” In that way, you don't get bored. There is no such person who doesn't have personal guilty pleasures in life. And if we don't fulfill them at least at the minimum, we get miserable. We will feel as if we have no freedom at all if we curb those little pleasures. Do this every time you find your savings slowly building up. So that you get more motivated in saving money. #
SIMPLIFICATION

*Do you know any person who earns bigger salary than you do and yet he/ she still does not have savings?*

*Do you wonder why some people whose jobs earn much money per month and yet they are still broke?*
### The reason behind that is “they are living an expensive lifestyle over what they can basically afford”. Most people I know are keeping up with the joneses, not wanting to get left behind by their peers, not wanting to seem obsolete in their outward appearance and not wanting to be oblivious with the latest trends. As a result , they go broke. ### The sad truth is people do not realize to themselves that they have been pleasing people they hate, they buy things they don't need and tHey are living a lifestyle based on other’s approval. They buy expensive cars when they still have a functioning one. They buy branded clothes to seem FASHIONABLE in the eyes of haters they want to compete with. They eat out on expensive restaurants to flaunt on social media. They buy expensive house to seem rich. They buy basically anything expensive that will tell other people in a subtle way that “hey, i am successful”. Buying luxuries is not a problem as long as someone can afford buying those many times without getting broke. Even if they don't get paid for several months. Don't get me wrong. But if you are living off paycheck to paycheck, might as well you’d better be living below your means but within your needs. The secret to saving extra money is to live simply. Live a simple life in a way you can save spare amount of money.
https://i.imgur.com/HPntD3f.png
You must change your perspective about being successful. You must define for yourself what being rich is to you. Not from the other’s definition.
https://i.imgur.com/sYiPs6r.png
And lastly, quit comparing yourself to others. Just live the life you envision . The life you want to live in as long as you are living a comfortable life. Last but not the least… #
RECALLING THE “HARD DAYS”
*Have you experienced a moment in your life when you were starving and you had no money to buy food?* or *Have you ever been extremely broke, when you had a serious money problem and yet no one out there was willing to help you out?* That must be your serious incentive to save money by now. If you’ve never been to that miserable situation. You are lucky. But this serves as a piece of advice for you to not experience that misery in the future. There are problems arising which are beyond our control. Oftentimes they overwhelm our wallets. There is nothing more miserable than not having money in desperate times, especailly if you and your love ones are starving. It is a harrowing ordeal that you don’t want to ever experience. In order to be safe from that problem, you’d better start saving or get caught up with serious misery. ----------------------------- Saving money is often an overlooked and underestimated habit. People do not realize its importance until serious money problems hit them hard. One of the best thing about saving money is that it serves as your safety net in case of emergency. It will give you confidence and peace of mind if ever a huge problem comes across you. Each time you save money, you are also buying a certain amount of FREEDOM for yourself. "body": "
https://i.imgur.com/WS9tW4B.png
\n\n*Do you have this desire to save money but you end up not having any?*\n\nOr \n\n*Do you have a monthly salary coming in but you cannot get to start saving money because you think what you earn every month is never enough?*\n\nI have some key answers to that.\n\nYou see, it is so easy to loose yourself getting tempted to spend on unnecessary things,.. \n\nEspecially when you are exhausted at work and you have this feeling that you need to reward yourself at least. \n\nYou find it so hard to save money when you are just a generous fellow with a benevolent heart to help out your family and love ones.\n\n\nI have been to that feeling. And guess what. It only lead me freaking **BROKE**..\n\nI am not saying to you that you must be selfish to your love ones by being stingy with your money. What I’m telling is you have to set priorities. \n\nImagine ...\n\nif you have no money left for yourself, how are you going to help them back. If you don’t pay attention to your basic needs first, how can you ever help on their basic needs in return. \n\nYou cannot fill another cup with an empty cup. That make sense.\n\nIn a nutshell, if you don’t have savings, how can you have a reserved bullet in times of war?\n\nYou are the **weapon**, your savings is your **bullet**. ..\n\nBefore I get down to talking about how to save money effectively, let me just enlighten you why you have to save money not only for yourself.\n\n-------------------------------------------------------\n\n\n#
YOUR JOB IS UNRELIABLE
\n\n\n
https://i.imgur.com/IiEP5LZ.png
\n\n*Are you working on a job you hate?*\n\n*Do you find yourself easily get into trouble with your workmates or your boss?*\n\nThen it’s time for you to establish a safety net once your job itself is going to kick you out suddenly.\n\nBasically, you cannot please anyone, not even your boss, and your clients. \n\nIt is inevitable that you may not suffice their expectations of you. Because all people are not perfect, all people are capable of committing minor mistakes at work. \n\n
https://i.imgur.com/e9VDegO.png
\n\nYou may be just accustoming yourself or assimilating into the work culture at the moment. \n\nHowever, there are just circumstances that are beyond your control. Such as sudden laying off of employees because the company had to do it for certain reasons.\n\nYou may not see the trouble coming such as feud between you and the company you are working with and colleagues whom you misunderstood with. \n\n### They both have the power to make you unemployed in just a snap. Worse will happen if you don’t have saved enough money for you to use to find another job vacancy.\n\n\n\n#
THE WORLD IS UNPREDICTABLE
\n\n
https://i.imgur.com/fFWeHTI.png
\n\nNo matter how secure your job may seem. There are still problems that will compromise your job security. \n\n\nEven if you have acquired a regular solid position at work, your job still does not guarantee you the the security because you are working paycheck to paycheck. \n\n\nJust like what happened to the world right now, when people across the world are suffering whose jobs and businesses are affected by the **COVID 19** crisis. \n\nThe most of the jobs have been forced to stop because the company had to do it for the safety of everyone. \n\n### Guess what happened to unemployed folks, their last resort was to beg on the streets in search of food, and going on debt to feed their dependents because they don’t have emergency funds.\n\nWhile some are not affected by the crisis, most people right now are making their way to selling things online not because of producing benefit to customers but for their own survival. \n\nWhether you like it or not that’s the truth.\n\nThe **COVID19** may have made us reflect about life in general but there is one thing that gives us reminder. It is teaching us how to save for the rainy days next time we encounter an arduous crisis like this.\n\n\n\n#
OUR GENERAL HEALTH IS UNRELIABLE
\n\n\n\nHave you ever heard of the term : “RAT RACE?”\n\n
https://i.imgur.com/46H7X5x.png
\n\n---------------------------------------------------------------------\n\n
https://i.imgur.com/gv7fQUb.png
\n\nIn a nutshell , you are on the rat race **right now**.\n\n### You are living pay check to paycheck that means the moment you stop working, you stop earning money. \n\nSo if you get sick haphazardly, you have to stop working and so is your income. \n\nIf a machine gets worn out as years go by, so is our health.\n\nWe are not immortal beings that are incapable of getting sick or capable of defying death. \n\n
https://i.imgur.com/oRZj1g5.png
\n\nOvertime, we get older and weaker at the same time. Time will come we get easily ill while at work especially if you had been doing your job for several years. \n\nTherefore, we must have savings to plant wise investments which will benefit us in the future.\n\n————————————-\n\n##
DISCLAIMER: Now that you have realized the importance of saving, you may be wondering how to start. You can actually search over the web on how to save money, you can even read some books about it. But the following methods I’m gonna show you are the proven effective ways that worked for me and for most people I know.
\n\nSo here are the life hacks on how to save money effectively:\n\n\n#
THE POWER OF HABIT
\n\n
https://i.imgur.com/ehrPrPE.png
\n\nSome people say thats saving money is so difficult especially if you don’t have that much salary every month, and saving is only for those who have no financial responsibilities.\n\nThat is not true.\n\nWouldn't you know that you can actually save money despite of having a minimum wage?\n\nTh truth is it is not how much money you save every month but it's all about maintaining that saving habit every month.\n\n**We are creatures of habit**.\n\n If you keep on doing that action over and over again you get accustomed to doing it. That action itself becomes a habit if you keep on repeating that.\n\n
https://i.imgur.com/xS0w1ue.png
\n\nThe same as saving your money per month. Start allocating at least one peso per month. It may sound ridiculous at first. \n\n*“What can you actually benefit by just saving a coin every month?”*\n\nWhen you keep on doing that habit, you’ll get unsatisfied with how small it is so you increase that amount gradually. Until such time, you find yourself saving bigger amounts every month. \n\nYou can do this the other way around. \n\nLet's say you are earning a certain amount of salary per month. Allocate a certain percentage of your salary to put on your piggy bank. It all depends on how much you want to put aside as long as you are maintaining that habit.\n\nHowever, you must habitually do this **BEFORE spending**. \n\nIf you only save after spending, you may lose control of yourself. Thus, it might be too late to realize you’ve got to save!\n\n\n#
DELAYED GRATIFICATION
\n\n\nSaving money is nothing more than having self discipline.\n\nIt is so easy to get tempted to spend anytime you want and as much as you want but if you are willing to sacrifice your personal pleasure, you will never fail.\n\nOne of the secrets to saving money is practicing delayed gratification.\n\nIf you know what you are saving money for and how much you badly need it the future, you will beat the spending temptations around you. You must allow yourself to sacrifice a bit , so that you are going to thank your future self and you get to achieve what you want. \n\nLet’s say you wanna buy something expensive while not going on debt. What you need to do is allocate a certain money every month to save up funds that will buy what you want. Be it something you want to have as a reward to yourself.\n\nThis method applies also in building up savings for your future. If you are aiming at having a comfortable retirement by the time you get old, might as well you gotta start saving by now and start controlling your unhealthy spending habits.\n\n\n#
KNOWING WHAT YOU ARE SAVING FOR
\n\n
https://i.imgur.com/njuDHim.png
\n\nDelaying gratification which is mentioned above boils down to knowing your reasons why you save money.\n\nYou have to know what you are saving money for or else you’ll lose yourself in the process. \n\nYou might have tried saving some on a piggy back but you ended up breaking it to buy frivolous stuff.\n\nIt's because you don’t know the reason behind why you are dong it in the first place.\n\nIt is not bad to save money to buy something you like as what I mentioned earlier. But if you don't put label on your savings it is definitely hard to start off.\n\nWhen you start saving, try putting label on your piggy bank or a savings can. \n\n
https://i.imgur.com/H2qS07a.png
\n\nIn that way, you are aware where your money goes. By doing it, you are disciplining yourself to stick on saving habit.\n\nIn the real world, if you are heading to financial freedom someday, you gotta have these three savings account:\n\n*CALAMITY FUND, EMERGENCY FUND AND RETIREMENT FUND*. You can search further about these 3 must-have funds in your life on the web. But let me just unpack these the simplest way:\n\n**Calamity Fund** is a savings that you will use if unforeseeable problem occurs, such as Natural Disasters, if you are being robbed, to repair a broken down car, sudden hospitalization or sudden death of a family member, etc. It is the amount of money which you can use for the situations that are beyond ur control\n\n\n**Emergency Fund** is a savings account which you can use to cover your basic needs for several months. Such as sudden unemployment, if you’ve been fired by your boss, a fund to use to apply for another job, to feed your unemployed love-ones in COVID 19 crisis, and so on.\n\n\n**Retirement Fund** is a savings account you can use at your old age or when you choose not to work anymore. This is basically Your Financial Freedom Account. \n\n#
REWARDING YOURSELF
\n\n\nThis may hit you really hard.\n\nSaving money can get extremely boring if you found yourself living like a pauper. The reason why people fail to saving money is that they feel they are sacrificing “way too much”. \n\nThey feel they are being too hard for themselves which is why some people will loose themselves by breaking down the piggy bank to suffice pent up desires.\n\nAs I mentioned earlier, it doesn't matter how small money you save as long as you are starting off the habit. \n\nNow, what you are going to do is to reward yourself each time you do the saving. You can reward yourself by spending a certain amount of money to buy the food that you want or a small stuff you want to acquire. \n\nYou cannot be guilty by doing this as long as it is inexpensive and affordable. \n\nIn short, you have to have FUN SAVINGS ACCOUNT. \n\nIt doesn’t matter how much you allocate for your pleasures. The purpose of doing so is to “make saving money fun and exciting”\n\nIn that way, you don't get bored. \n\nThere is no such person who doesn't have personal guilty pleasures in life. And if we don't fulfill them at least at the minimum, we get miserable. \n\nWe will feel as if we have no freedom at all if we curb those little pleasures.\n\nDo this every time you find your savings slowly building up. So that you get more motivated in saving money.\n\n\n#
SIMPLIFICATION
\n\n\n
*Do you know any person who earns bigger salary than you do and yet he/ she still does not have savings?*
\n\n
*Do you wonder why some people whose jobs earn much money per month and yet they are still broke?*
\n\n### The reason behind that is “they are living an expensive lifestyle over what they can basically afford”.\n\n\nMost people I know are keeping up with the joneses, not wanting to get left behind by their peers, not wanting to seem obsolete in their outward appearance and not wanting to be oblivious with the latest trends. \n\nAs a result , they go broke.\n\n### The sad truth is people do not realize to themselves that they have been pleasing people they hate, they buy things they don't need and tHey are living a lifestyle based on other’s approval. \n\nThey buy expensive cars when they still have a functioning one. \n\nThey buy branded clothes to seem FASHIONABLE in the eyes of haters they want to compete with. \n\nThey eat out on expensive restaurants to flaunt on social media.\n\nThey buy expensive house to seem rich. \n\nThey buy basically anything expensive that will tell other people in a subtle way that “hey, i am successful”.\n\nBuying luxuries is not a problem as long as someone can afford buying those many times without getting broke. Even if they don't get paid for several months. \n\nDon't get me wrong. \n\nBut if you are living off paycheck to paycheck, might as well you’d better be living below your means but within your needs. \n\nThe secret to saving extra money is to live simply. Live a simple life in a way you can save spare amount of money.\n\n
https://i.imgur.com/HPntD3f.png
\n\nYou must change your perspective about being successful. You must define for yourself what being rich is to you. Not from the other’s definition. \n\n
https://i.imgur.com/sYiPs6r.png
\n\nAnd lastly, quit comparing yourself to others. Just live the life you envision . The life you want to live in as long as you are living a comfortable life. \n\nLast but not the least…\n\n\n\n#
RECALLING THE “HARD DAYS”
\n\n*Have you experienced a moment in your life when you were starving and you had no money to buy food?*\n\nor\n\n*Have you ever been extremely broke, when you had a serious money problem and yet no one out there was willing to help you out?*\n\nThat must be your serious incentive to save money by now. \n\nIf you’ve never been to that miserable situation. You are lucky. But this serves as a piece of advice for you to not experience that misery in the future.\n\nThere are problems arising which are beyond our control. Oftentimes they overwhelm our wallets. There is nothing more miserable than not having money in desperate times, especailly if you and your love ones are starving. It is a harrowing ordeal that you don’t want to ever experience. \n\nIn order to be safe from that problem, you’d better start saving or get caught up with serious misery. \n\n-----------------------------\n\n\nSaving money is often an overlooked and underestimated habit. People do not realize its importance until serious money problems hit them hard. \n\nOne of the best thing about saving money is that it serves as your safety net in case of emergency. It will give you confidence and peace of mind if ever a huge problem comes across you. \n\nEach time you save money, you are also buying a certain amount of FREEDOM for yourself. \n\nYou will make sound decisions in your life in general.\n\nIt will make you live a quality life in your own terms. \n\nIf you have enough savings, you will not be desperate to pick the wrong opportunity. You will have more choices, you will have more freedom on how you live your life. \n\n\n\nImage Source: GOOGLE.COM",
