      "body": "As far as the daw side goes I have a pc Dedicated ti running the DAW.  It cuts diwn on problems, but I do still have them.   I try to keep things as ready to go as I can.   There are tons of youtube videos on all the daws.  Just go look for a beginner guide.  Good luck man.",

      "body": "Upvoted.\n\nI occasionally mess with recording. I usually spend way too much time trying to get my audio interface and DAW figured out and not getting too much done. Some day I need to get a better handle on this stuff.  Maybe this Steemit forum will help and make us some money too. \n\nI've played guitar for many years, and only recently started trying to get some   proficiency with bass. I recently bought a 6 string bass that is a lot of fun, and really interesting to compose with too. I guess the range and sustain helps me simplify ideas. The following track is not completed and I haven't messed with it in a while, but plan to. It needs a B section.       "body": "I wasnt suggesting that the war on drugs was working.  As far as harm reduction junkies have caused a fair amount of harm to the people around them.   Thats for all of them to deal with.  I got to watch my sisters 2, 3 , 9 year old kids go through having a junkie for a mother for as long as i could stand it.  Im not mad I wish my sister well and hope she can get whatever help she needs someday.  Fact is she continues to choose that life after several treatments.  No one can stop it except her.",

      "body": "Just gotta find what works best for you.   I like to start at 7am.  Which could help explain why i am not in a band, who wants to wake up deink coffee and start writing?  As far as the bars go i lime to just do 4 bar parts even though i count in threes.  But if all you have is 4 bars just save it in a folder with the tempo listed.  If nothing else you can come back to or just try and fit in with another tune your stuck on.  Just list tempo and key ... it will help.",

      "body": "I write most of my songs directly onto the DAW. Whenever I have an idea or a melody (it's usually short, just 4 bars), I write it into the DAW and extend from that instead of laying out the track's entire arrangement. I need to change that.\n\nI noticed lots of good tracks have good compositions and arrangement. I'm also more fluent with melodies rather than drums, so most of the time, my drums are just basic ones, which I think needs to be changed. \nOh, also! When ever I have a melody in mind, I find a BPM tapper (whether it's online on desktop or an app on my phone), and try to tap out the BPM of that melody. It's a start for most of my drafts.",

What I suspect might be happening is he has just kinda figured out how to lift his leg and maybe he is holding it in because instinct is telling him to mark territory and he hasn't figured it out yet. Dog's are sometimes known to hold in urine simply for the purpose of marking territory.  Well just a educated theory after much googling. Thanks for the comment :-)",

I tend to write lyrics apart from the music.  The only problem with is you have to learn to compromise with yourself. I can't think of anything that's been banned or outlawed that has prevented a person from doing something.\n\nI had a conversation with a friend yesterday about laws and bans.  I asked if robbing a bank weren't legal would he do it.  \nHe said he would and when i asked why he said because he wouldn't go to jail.  \nI asked him how he felt about getting shot, and he claimed it was usually only one guard so he wouldn't get shot.  I replied with if it isn't against the law what makes you think they would still only have 1 guard?  I know if i owned a bank I would have a small military force or something, you'd be dead the second you tried anything.  Metal detectors all sorts of extra stuff.  \n\nRight now most people know its insured and the cops will chase you so there isn't much incentive.  If the cops didn't care I would say the risk is worse the jail.",

      "body": "Crate training helps a  lot.  Dogs generally don't want want to pee in their den.  Our dogs are trained to \"go to bed\".  We do let our dogs sleep with us on weekends sometimes, but it's a treat not the norm.    If he is drinking a lot of water before bed that may be it.  It may be that he isn't getting it all out.  It could also be more serious, maybe a UTI or something.  I'm not a vet though. I'm just dealing with a 14 year dog that is doing the same thing.",
