Today everything has evolved, so has the slavery. Abolished in 1865, slavery has taken the name of modern day slavery and several other forms in United States of America. Modern day slavery and its forms have taken over the lives of humans and is being practiced globally because of the tremendous profit.\n\nModern day slavery in america\n\nModern day slavery in America.\nModern day slavery has infected and destroyed humanity to its depth. Because it’s very profitable, many drug smugglers have turned towards this unforgivable crime. Modern day slavery has taken many forms i.e. Bondage labor, child labor, domestic servitude, forced marriage, sex trafficking and human trafficking. Among these, human trafficking and forced labor are prevalent in America. Because if its expanded network and practice throughout the whole country, modern day slavery gets unnoticed. Imagine a child running through the streets selling things or working in a farm and a lady working in a barber shop. Can they be victims of modern day slavery? It’s likely to be that their freedoms are being exploited and being threatened to work. In United States of America, the trafficked humans are either forced into labor or thrown into prostitution. Victims can be anyone of any age, religion, color and gender. And as we learn more about human trafficking we discover a cruel world cloaked in utter evil. A world where mostly young girls but also boys are brought and sold into the sex trade. It’s a multibillion dollar business and united states of America profits $14.6 billion from prostitution.\n\nStatistics of Modern day Slavery in America.\n\nHuman trafficking generates $32 billion each year and $9.5 billion comes from U.S operations.\nBetween 14,500 and 17,500 people are brought into the U.S each year as modern day slavery.\n50 pc of these victims are children.\nOut of all trafficking cases in the U.S, 83 pc are American born citizens.\nFour most common U.S destinations for human trafficking.\n\nCalifornia\nNevada\nTexas\nNew York\nChildren and teens are at the highest risk. An estimated 300,000 American children are victims of human trafficking per year. 800,00 people are trafficked across international borders per year. 50 pc are children and 80 pc are women and girls. The average age is 12-14 years old. Slavery in the modern day slavery is at all-time high. About 30 million people live in modern people live in modern day slavery around the world. These numbers are higher than those during trans-Atlantic slave trade. Other people just live in the moment and do not subject themselve to any kind of wait because they believe its furastrating. \n The aim for these both kinds is happiness but the question is do they get it? A person who affliate his happiness with luxury must not go for it through a medium which he might dislike.\nA very clear example would be of someone who is doing a very hard job as an accountant from 9 am to none. he might be earning as much as he wants but he is unable to take out his timefor his family. he is unable to work independently and this very person, who throughout, his whole life wanted a lavish life is suddenly not finding satisfaction in his money.\ndid you notice? he waited and couldnt get satisfied even though he got what he wanted.\nthe reason why this happen is that sometimes we forget our personal desires and the needs of our personalities. sometimes we are forced into something because it is a trend in the society. sometimes we find glamour in it because we believe people will appreciate it.\n\nThe is the biggest mistake one can make because this can not give us happiness. we are just satisfying the needs of people who see us. The real point here is as a renowned man said,\"Happiness comes from within, not without\"\n\nWe creat happiness in true sense when we crawl under our own self, we create it when we anylse the very state of our own mind and focus on our will.
