| title | Steemit Engagement Contest | Defend any Three Statements by @Yormie | 20% payout to @pak-charity |
| body | Hello Steemians! I warmly welcome you to this week contest on the steemit platform. This has been wonderfully great on this steemit platform this month as we have many engagement across the selected communities for the steemit engagement contest. I am Olawale Abayomi Sina and my username is @yormie here on this great platform. I am delighted to be part of the users engaging in the contest organized by steemitblog and the entire steemit team. On this post I will be defending three of the statement given by steemut pakistan in her post. Therefore, I want you to follow me closely. Happy reading! The three statements I will be defending are; • Votes are not guaranteed - SC1 • Punishment never has a good effect • Money is more important than Love Let's begin with, "VOTES ARE NOT GUARANTEED-SC1" The statement "vote are not guaranteed" is a statement of steemcurator01 of the steemit platform. Steemcurator01 is one of the prominent curators on the steemit platform. What does the statement means, The statement means that curation is not ascertain for every content write up made on steemit platform. It simply implies that irrespective of your attractive and quality post, vote is never guaranteed for it. Users need to know this so that they will not be disappointed if they see that their contents not been curated, which brings to notice that Votes are not guaranteed. If you don't get vote or your content is not curated today does not mean it will not be curated tomorrow. You just need to keep publishing great and quality contents relentlessly. PUNISHMENT NEVER HAS A GOOD EFFECT The second statement I will defend is punishment never has a good effect. I will say this is right because there have been many instances where punishment which was thought to bring good fruit later brought pain and agony. For instance, there is a family who had two children, a boy and a girl. The boy happens to be the elder. Their parent love them very well and give them what they want anytime. The parents did not allow their children to mingle with other children around them. But the children would always sneaked out to play with their friends. Anytime they did this, their parents would flog them and beat them. But on a faithful day, they children sneaked out as usual to play with their friends. Then when they got home, the father severely punished them, unknowing to him that one of the children has gotten internal injury as a result of the punishment. Then around the mid night, the child started crying and shouting "my chest, my chest".... Before they carried him to the hospital, he died. Eventually, the doctor later told the parent that they caused the death of the child. This is just a typical example of many instances where punishment has created pain, agony and even lost of lives. We should be very careful when punishing the children or any one that may offend us, because punishment never has a good effect. There is another instance where punishment later turn a child to a tug in the street. Some people believe if they don't punish a child it will grow to be a wayward person. Well, while that may be true, but I believe there is a way to correct a child without necessarily beating or flogging him or her before he harken to the instruction or correction. MONEY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN LOVE Money, not love, is the glue that keeps couples together. This may seem like a very shallow statement. But if you hang in there with me I think you’ll see exactly why money is more important than love . First, let me explain what I mean. I’m not saying that money should be the objective of your relationship. Quite the opposite. Financial success results from a partnership that works. Creating wealth can’t be your primary objective when you deal with other people if you want to be successful. Anytime you do something just for the money you are going to feel empty and unsatisfied. Based on my own personal and professional experience I feel very strongly about that. And this goes for all relationships. Marriage, friendship and even business. And I’m not saying that having a lot of money will make your relationship successful either. No amount of money in the world can guarantee that. Come up with tangible and meaningful ways to improve your joint financial life over the short and long run. Then put those changes in place immediately. If either of you are unable to do this, I strongly recommend that you seek counseling. There is a lot at stake when it comes to money and your relationship. My experience tells me that you can never be happy with another person if there is wide disagreement on money and/or disconnects between shared values and actions. This is true no matter how much two people love each other. From this fact, you see that, money is very important. Without money, you may not be able to preserve your love. CONCLUDING PART In this post, I have defended three statements out of the 5 statements we were given in the contest. The statement one is that vote is not guaranteed and I have defended this statement in my own opinion. Your opinion or perspective to this statement may not align with mine. If it does not, don't worry, everyone view things on their perspective and we are bound to have different perspective in life. The second statement is punishment never has a good effect. While I am a man of principle and values, I don't dispute the fact that correcting errors or mistake is bad. But there should be a way to do it without causing another incurable pain. Lastly, I defended the statement that says, money is more important than love. All the statements put me in a tight corner. But what do I do? I don't have any choice but to defend it. I hope I tried my best defending all these statements. Thank you for reading my article. |

| title | Achievement 3 by @Yormie Task: Content Etiquette |
| body | Greetings steemians, I am excited to have my achievement 2 post verified. In this achievement 3, I will be showing my understanding of the content Etiquette on steemit. Vast knowledge, thoughts, ideas, articles, journals, videos and images already exist in our modern day, and to be factual, writing some articles, conducting researches, creating contents to an extent does not require a writer to reinvent the wheels. Therefore Content creators, writers, researchers sometimes build on already existing ideas, expressions or resources that are available online or offline. This is a wonderful and acceptable idea if done properly. This brings me to the topical issue plagiarism. WHAT IS PLAGIARISM? Plagiarism to my own definition is presenting someone else's work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form. https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblogs.egu.eu%2Fnetwork%2Fwater-underground%2F2018%2F06%2F22%2Fhow-can-we-make-hydrogeology-free-from-plagiarism-reflections-five-years-after-a-documented-case-of-plagiarism-in-the-hydrologic-sciences%2F&psig=AOvVaw3YMz2d_hmLefx4Yj6pvC-2&ust=1637264094875000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAgQjRxqFwoTCPD-26-SoPQCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAX The act of copying the content of other people and presenting it to be yours. It is a serious issue and requires extreme attention. When you do not write the content but copy the content of others, then it is plagiarism. It is also known as theft which is an immoral activity. The plagiarism detection exposes the truth of the content within seconds. http://panamahitek.com/en/plagiarism-types-and-alternatives https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=http%3A%2F%2Fpanamahitek.com%2Fen%2Fplagiarism-types-and-alternatives%2F&psig=AOvVaw3YMz2d_hmLefx4Yj6pvC-2&ust=1637264094875000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAgQjRxqFwoTCPD-26-SoPQCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAR TYPES OF PLAGIARISM AND HOW TO RECOGNISE THEM All types of plagiarism involve using someone else’s words or ideas without proper citation. That can mean copying a whole text, copying just a snippet, or rephrasing an idea. These are the 5 most common types of plagiarism: (1) Global plagiarism ; means plagiarizing an entire text by someone else. (2) Verbatim plagiarism ; means directly copying someone else’s words. "title": "Achievement 3 by @Yormie Task: Content Etiquette",
"body": "Greetings steemians, I am excited to have my achievement 2 post verified. In this achievement 3, I will be showing my understanding of the content Etiquette on steemit.\n\nVast knowledge, thoughts, ideas, articles, journals, videos and images already exist in our modern day, and to be factual, writing some articles, conducting researches, creating contents to an extent does not require a writer to reinvent the wheels. Therefore Content creators, writers, researchers sometimes build on already existing ideas, expressions or resources that are available online or offline. This is a wonderful and acceptable idea if done properly. This brings me to the topical issue plagiarism.\n\nWHAT IS PLAGIARISM?\n\nPlagiarism to my own definition is presenting someone else's work or ideas as your own, with or without their consent, by incorporating it into your work without full acknowledgement. All published and unpublished material, whether in manuscript, printed or electronic form.\n\nhttps://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fblogs.egu.eu%2Fnetwork%2Fwater-underground%2F2018%2F06%2F22%2Fhow-can-we-make-hydrogeology-free-from-plagiarism-reflections-five-years-after-a-documented-case-of-plagiarism-in-the-hydrologic-sciences%2F&psig=AOvVaw3YMz2d_hmLefx4Yj6pvC-2&ust=1637264094875000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAgQjRxqFwoTCPD-26-SoPQCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAX\n\nThe act of copying the content of other people and presenting it to be yours. It is a serious issue and requires extreme attention. When you do not write the content but copy the content of others, then it is plagiarism. It is also known as theft which is an immoral activity. The plagiarism detection exposes the truth of the content within seconds. \nhttp://panamahitek.com/en/plagiarism-types-and-alternatives\n\nhttps://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=http%3A%2F%2Fpanamahitek.com%2Fen%2Fplagiarism-types-and-alternatives%2F&psig=AOvVaw3YMz2d_hmLefx4Yj6pvC-2&ust=1637264094875000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAgQjRxqFwoTCPD-26-SoPQCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAR\n\n\nTYPES OF PLAGIARISM AND HOW TO RECOGNISE THEM\n\nAll types of plagiarism involve using someone else’s words or ideas without proper citation. That can mean copying a whole text, copying just a snippet, or rephrasing an idea.\n\nThese are the 5 most common types of plagiarism:\n\n(1) Global plagiarism ; means plagiarizing an entire text by someone else.\n\n(2) Verbatim plagiarism ; means directly copying someone else’s words.\n\n(3) Paraphrasing plagiarism ; means rephrasing someone else’s ideas.\n\n(4) Patchwork plagiarism ; means plagiarizing parts of different sources and stitching them together into a new work.\n\n(5) Self-plagiarism ; means recycling your own previous work. https://www.scribbr.com/plagiarism/types-of-plagiarism/#:~:text=The%20most%20common%20types%20of%20plagiarism%20are%3A%20,%20%20Serious%20%202%20more%20rows%20\n\nPlagiarism is a serious form of academic dishonesty.
