Because I see how society tends to undervalue this disorder, in my experience, even when I don't have this disease, It has been causing me and so many people a lot of nightmares and suffering.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Starting from a very uncomfortable &nbsp;fact for me, and that Is, that I couldn't get to know any of my grandfathers because the both of them commited suicide and nowadays, my grandma suffers depression and I see how day by day this Illness keeps doing damage to her, being sincere that is a very painful situation for everyone and due to this, i will teach people a little bit about this disorder.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Some fact about depression.</strong></p>\n<ul>\n  <li>More than 10% of world population suffer It or have the chance to suffer It at least one time in their lives.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Almost half of the people that suffer It doesn't look for help.</li>\n  <li>Depression multiplies by five the possibilities of committing suicide.</li>\n  <li>There's no test or analysis for depression, the diagnostic relies on the mental health professionals.</li>\n  <li>It is considered one of the most expensive Illness for the health system.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Understanding people who suffer.&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>I will be sincere, I have felt sad in some times of my life, but I can't talk about depression from a personal experiencie point of view, nonetheless, I have seen how people isolate, keep getting distance until they reach a no return point, due to this and the motive that seeing the people you love In these situations hurts a lot, I will share some tips that have worked for me when I have helped some friends to battle depression.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>https://i.imgur.com/l2qGGwh.jpg</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Tips:</strong></p>\n<ol>\n  <li><strong>Go to a doctor or a mental health professional: </strong>People tend to underestimate the work of these professionals, this occurs because they feel that a psychologist or a psychiatrist won't help them at all, so you will need to remind people the importance of visiting the doctor and If you can, ask them If they want you to be with them.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li><strong>Patience: </strong>You got to understand that the person you want to help Is going through a hard process and prepare yourself because It could be a very, very long process In which you are going to deal with a constant negative attitude, so you got to be patient.</li>\n  <li><strong>Distractions: </strong>This step will Imply that you have to make plans for people, depressed people tend to pull themselves apart from everyone so, the more time they are alone, the more they will suffer, so It is important that you look for an activity, and if it is in the outside, better.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li><strong>Remind them their own value:&nbsp;</strong>Even when you are helping someone, you have to consider that they start to feel alone, they feel that nobody loves them, so is very important that you remind them how much they mean to you.</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Final Thoughts</strong></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Depression is something that everyboy could suffer in any point of their lives, we have to learn about that in order to help everyone we can, I hope this post help someone and I also hope that I can keep writing and helping people among this community and In life.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n</html>",

      "body": "<html>\n<p>https://i.imgur.com/YBwSRlA.jpg</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>El título de este post resume todo lo que quiero comunicar, la depresión esta infravalorada, y ¿Por qué? porque sencillamente observo como la sociedad suele menospreciar esta enfermedad que desde mi experiencia, aunque no la padezco, me ha causado momentos desagradables.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Empezando por un hecho bastante incómodo, y es que, no pude tener la dicha de conocer a ninguno de mis abuelos, ya que ambos cometieron suicidio, y hoy en día, mi abuela sufre de esta enfermedad y veo cómo poco a poco va consumiendo a la gente, lo cual siendo sincero, es algo bastante doloroso y debido a estos motivos, me propuse enseñar a la gente lo terrible que puede ser.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Datos Importantes sobre la depresión:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n  <li>Más del 10% de la población mundial sufre o tiene posibilidades de sufrirla en algún momento de sus vidas.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>Aproximadamente la mitad de las personas que padecen de depresión no buscan ayuda.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li>La depresión multiplica por 5 las posibilidades de que una persona cometa suicidio.</li>\n  <li>No existen pruebas físicas o análisis que lo detecten, el diagnóstico está sujeto a juicio del profesional clínico de turno (Psicólogo o Psiquiatra).</li>\n  <li>Es considerada una de las enfermedades más costosas para el sistema sanitario.&nbsp;</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Comprendiendo a los que padecen.&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>Seré sincero, me he sentido triste en algunos momentos de mi vida, pero no puedo hablar de la depresión desde la experiencia, ya que no he padecido de esta enfermedad, sin embargo, he observado como las personas se aíslan, se distancian cada vez más, hasta que probablemente lleguen a un punto de no retorno, debido a esto y porque duele un montón observar a tus seres queridos en este estado, compartiré algunos tips que me han funcionado para ayudar a las personas a salir de este padecimiento.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>https://i.imgur.com/YBwSRlA.jpg</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Tips para ayudar a personas depresivas:&nbsp;</strong></p>\n<ol>\n  <li><strong>Insistir en ir al médico: </strong>Las personas comúnmente suelen menospreciar el trabajo de los profesionales de la salud mental, esto ocurre porque la mayoría siente que dichos profesionales no generarán ningún tipo de ayuda, por ello, es importante insistir y apoyar, un buen consejo sería acompañar a las personas al Psicólogo/Psiquiatra si así les parece más cómodo.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li><strong>Paciencia: </strong>Tienes que comprender que la persona está pasando por una enfermedad y prepararte, ya que puede ser un proceso de recuperación bastante largo, en el que tendrás que soportar actitudes negativas, es por ello que la paciencia es fundamental para brindar ayuda.</li>\n  <li><strong>Distraerle: </strong>Este paso implica que hagas planes, las personas deprimidas suelen aislarse de todo, por lo que mientras más tiempo pasen solas, sus problemas aumentarán, por ello, es importante que busques alguna actividad en la cual puedan distraerse, si esa actividad es fuera, en algún sitio que no sea su casa, mucho mejor.&nbsp;</li>\n  <li><strong>No menosprecies su dolor: </strong>Por más insignificante que te pueda parecer el motivo por el que una persona pueda estar deprimida, nunca, pero nunca menosprecies sus causas, esto solo puede traer efectos negativos</li>\n  <li><strong>Demuestrales lo valiosos que son: </strong>A pesar de que te encuentres ayudando a una persona, debes tener siempre en cuenta que ellos empiezan a sentirse solos, que nadie los quiere, por lo tanto, es fundamental que les hagas recordar que su existencia significa muchísimo para ti, y por qué no, para los demás.&nbsp;</li>\n</ol>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><strong>Reflexión final</strong></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>La depresión es algo a lo que todos estamos expuestos, es por ello que debemos aprender a sensibilizarnos con las personas que padecen esta enfermedad, espero que este post sirva de algo para ayudar a las personas, y que si nos tomamos la salud mental en serio, contribuyamos a formar un mundo en el que todos se sientan mejor, por más utópico que esto suene.&nbsp;</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\n</html>",
