Y llegando el que había recibido cinco talentos, trajo otros cinco talentos, diciendo: Señor, cinco talentos me entregaste; aquí tienes, he ganado otros cinco talentos sobre ellos. Ellos no esperaban nada a cambio, sabían que estaban allí para eso. Pero a causa de la intención sincera que había en ellos, el señor a quien servían los sorprendió, y los recompensó más allá de lo que se podrían imaginar. Y no simplemente porque hicieron, sino debido a la intención que cargaban en sus corazones.\n\nHay muchos que hacen lo mismo que esos siervos hicieron para Dios e incluso más, pero no son recompensados porque la intención con la cual lo hacen es mala. Multiplican los talentos ya teniendo como objetivo el reconocimiento y la recompensa. Se empeñan en hacer las cosas de Dios solo para alcanzar un determinado título o privilegio, sin tener la consciencia de que son simplemente siervos. Estos, en realidad, están intentando colocarse sobre lo mucho, en vez de estar a disposición de su Señor para ser colocados en el lugar que Él quiera.\n\nSon los principios de Dios los que rigen Su Reino, no los principios de los hombres. Para Dios, el ser supera al hacer. Si usted hace algo que no corresponde con lo que usted es, o con lo que carga dentro de sí, entonces lo está haciendo en vano. Cuadrillas de trabajadores limpiaban este martes los escombros en la capital.\n\nLa situación estalló el lunes luego de que, en medio de intensos llamados de la oposición a la Fuerza Armada para que rompa con Maduro, 27 militares robaron armas de un cuartel y se atrincheraron en un destacamento en Cotiza (norte de Caracas), donde fueron detenidos.\n\nAumentando la tensión, los opositores se preparan para manifestarse el miércoles contra lo que consideran un presidente “usurpador” y exigir un gobierno de transición y elecciones.\n\n“La única transición en Venezuela es hacia el socialismo”, refutó el número dos del chavismo, Diosdado Cabello, al llamar a los seguidores del gobierno a marchar masivamente en distintos puntos del país.\n\nSerá el primer gran pulso en las calles tras las violentas protestas que dejaron unos 125 muertos entre abril y julio de 2017, en medio de la peor crisis en la historia moderna del país petrolero, con escasez de alimentos y medicinas y una hiperinflación que el FMI proyecta 10.000.000% para 2019.\n\n– Llamado a la Fuerza Armada –\n\nEn este contexto, el Parlamento, de mayoría opositora, debatirá este martes el marco legal de su propuesta para instaurar un gobierno de transición, que incluye el ofrecimiento de amnistías a militares que desconozcan a Maduro.\n\nLa sesión desafía una sentencia que dictó el lunes el Tribunal Supremo de Justicia (TSJ, de línea oficialista), que declaró nula la junta directiva parlamentaria presidida por Juan Guaidó y reiteró el fallo judicial de 2016 que declaró en desacato al Parlamento y nulas todas sus decisiones.\n\nBajo el liderazgo de Guaidó, el Congreso -de mayoría opositora- declaró a Maduro “usurpador”, después de que asumiera el 10 de enero un segundo mandato considerado ilegítimo por varios gobiernos, y prometió la amnistía a los militares, considerado el sostén del presidente.\n\n“No te estamos pidiendo que des un golpe de Estado, que dispares. Todo lo contrario, te estamos pidiendo que defiendas junto a nosotros el derecho del pueblo (…) a ser libre”, dijo Guaidó en un mensaje a los militares, difundido la noche del lunes.\n\nEl jefe legislativo, quien se ha dicho dispuesto a presidir el gobierno de transición, asegura que el mensaje del Parlamento está calando y que el fugaz alzamiento militar muestra el descontento en la Fuerza Armada.\n\nEn medio de la creciente tensión, la Unión Europea apuesta a lanzar en febrero el grupo internacional de contacto que impulsa para buscar una salida negociada a la crisis, anunció la jefa de la diplomacia europea, Federica Mogherini.\n\n– Aministía, la puerta –\n\nPara la experta en temas militares Sebastiana Barráez, la amnistía -que también favorecería a funcionarios civiles- “puso en alerta al poder establecido. Le abre una puerta a aquellos militares que (…) hastiados de lo que sucede al interior de la FANB”, dijo.\n\nMaduro denuncia que está en marcha un “golpe de Estado” de la “derecha”, detrás del cual dice que se encuentran Washington y varios gobiernos latinoamericanos que sostienen que su reelección en mayo de 2018 fue producto de elecciones ilegítimas.\n\nCuando tomó posesión para su polémico segundo mandado, Maduro recibió la promesa de “lealtad absoluta” de la Fuerza Armada, integrada por unos 365.000 efectivos y 1,6 millones de milicianos civiles.\n\nLa FANB, que se dice chavista y antiimperialisa, asegura que está unida. Pero según la ONG Control Ciudadano, unos 180 efectivos fueron detenidos en 2018 acusados de conspirar, unos 10.000 militares pidieron la baja desde 2015 y más de 4.000 desertaron de la Guardia Nacional en 2018.\n\nDos generales figuran entre los detenidos por un presunto atentado contra Maduro el 4 de agosto, cuando dos drones cargados de explosivos estallaron cerca de una tarima donde encabezaba un acto militar.",

Entonces, la visión de Abraham se abrió.\n\nA partir de ese momento, comprendió que lo que estaba en cuestión no eran sus propios planes, sino los Planes de Dios. De pronto, su pedido que, hasta entonces, parecía tan grande, se volvió insignificante delante de lo que Dios quería – después de todo, ¿qué es un hijo comparado con una nación? El héroe de la fe notó que un hijo podría responder a su necesidad, pero no era suficiente para responder a la necesidad del Plan de Dios. Por consiguiente, todo lo que él comenzó a desear más fue agradar a Dios, respondiendo a las necesidades de Su proyecto por medio de la nación que nacería de él.\n\nCuando notamos que lo que tenemos y queremos es poco en relación a lo que Dios tiene y quiere, no tenemos miedo de sacrificar, de dar lo que sea. Incluso sintiendo el dolor latiendo en su pecho, Abraham entregó a su hijo en el Altar, porque su visión no estaba más en Isaac, sino en las estrellas del cielo y en la arena del mar. Su sueño era el sueño de Dios, y Abraham sabía que Dios jamás le pediría que hiciera algo que estorbara Su propio sueño.\n\nQuizás usted esté enfocado solo en un hijo – la solución de un problema, sea familiar, sentimental, económico o de salud – y no ha visto la grandeza de aquello que Dios planea hacer a través de su vida. Quizás ese hijo sea suficiente para usted, pero no lo es para Dios. ¿Y qué es lo que usted más quiere? ¿Agradarse a sí mismo o a Dios? ¿Aferrarse a lo que usted ya tiene y desea, o aferrarse a lo que Dios tiene y desea para usted y para la humanidad?\n\nAbraham no fue egoísta. Muy por el contrario: no tuvo miedo de renunciar a su sueño por el sueño de Dios. Y, a fin de cuentas, ¿sabe de lo que él se dio cuenta? De que no necesitaría quedarse sin su hijo, solo era necesario que no tuviera su corazón en él.
