Concerned, the Dr. ran after his dog, only to find it fighting with a green, alien humanoid. As the Dr. was looking for something to defend himself with, the alien ripped the dog in half. Dr. Reed was lucky enough to find a large branch and bash in the things head. He noticed a craft, seemingly floating above some foliage. It was small, black and in the shape of an obilesque. \n\nHe ran back to his home to grab his camcorder so he could document the alien and the craft. The creature is still alive, yet unmoving as you can see it blinking. When Dr. Reed tries to video tape the craft, the film distorts as if the craft is creating some type of interference. \n\nHe wrapped the alien up in a thermal blanket and brings it to his garage where he further documents the alien body. Again, we can see it blinking, but that’s it, no other bodily movements, not even in the face. I guess the only conclusion is that the creature was paralyzed. Done with his investigation, he puts the live alien in the freezer, when it starts screaming… allegedly. He was afraid the body would rot, even though it is still alive. \n\nLike with most cases involving alien encounters, Dr. Reed was hounded by ominous people who found out about his possession of the body and wanted him to hand it over along with a piece of mystery jewelry known only as “The Link Artifact”. This artifact was even alleged to have been anaylized by metallurgist/chemical engineers in Osaka, Japan in 1999.\n\nDr. Reed claims that he used the link several times and it started to change his body, allowing him access to communicate with an angel/light being known as “The Elder”. Here is Dr. Reed having a particularly bad, or good trip live and on the air, enjoy!\n\nWell anyway, eventually, these shadow government people ripped up Jonathans house and all that stuff was stolen, including the alien sickle. In all my years following this case, I don’t think Dr. Reed ever mentioned what happened to the obilesque craft. Maybe it auto-piloted back its own planet, or maybe it was towed.  Dr. Reed even claimed to have been shot by these shadow government people, but it is clearly just a bad make-up job. \n\nIf some seedy section of the government wanted Reed dead, he would be dead, they wouldn’t have settled for a pot shot at his shoulder. And Dr Reed is still out there to this day lecturing on his encounter. I guess you could argue that they have let him stay alive only because it would be too suspicious to kill him at this point. \n\nI would argue that these shadow people, or even special interests groups would be afraid of killing someone who threatens their livelihood, or whatever ideology they stand for. Look at what happened to the guy who invented a car that ran on water. And this guy was waaaay more of a high profiled news figure than Dr. Reed. \n\nUltimately, the ufological community as a hoax generally accepts Dr. Reeds story, and I believe it is too. On April 17th, 1897, an alien craft crashed down on a farm near Aurora, Texas, smashing into a windmill and resulting in the occupant’s death. \n\nThe farmland belonged to a judge J.S. Proctor and the crash was reported to an Army officer out of Fort Worth, Texas. The alien astronaut was described as “not of this world”, and Martian, which was the parlance of the time. The Martian was buried in the Aurora cemetery with full Christian rites. \n\nThe debris of the U.F.O., or airship was thrown into a nearby well. The farm was later purchased by a man named Brawly Oates in 1935. Oates cleaned out the debris from the well and used it for his drinking water. He soon developed an extreme case of arthritis and figured it was on account of the wreckage contaminating the well. \n\nBarbra Brammer, a former mayor to Aurora, researched this incident and came to the conclusion it was likely a hoax with good intentions. He ran back to the farmhouse to report his sighting to everyone, only to be met with skeptical sniggers. \n\nMoments later, the family dog started barking, kicking up a bigger fuss than ever heard by the family. This prompted Billy and Lucky Sutton to grab rifles before they went out to investigate. They stepped out to see a creature, three to four foot tall walking towards the house with its hands up, as if to surrender to the men. \n\nThe creature had large eyes and a large head, a long but negligible slit for a mouth, and long, spindly arms and legs equipped with hands and feet that were equipped with claws. Startled by the appearance of the thing, the men released a volley of bullets at the thing. Apparently, none of their bullets hit, as the thing just did a back flip and ran into the nearby woods. \n\nThe men ran back into the house, only to see the creature, or another one just like it, at one of the windows. They shot, blasting holes in the screen. They went outside to see if they hit it this time. As they walked out onto the porch, a green, clawed hand reached down at the men. They shot, apparently missing again, as the thing leisurely jumped down and floated to the ground. \n\nThis interaction between the Suttons and the entities when on for a couple hours until they decided to make a break for it. They managed to make it to their trucks and drive into town where they sought the help of police. Over twenty officers arrived back to the farm with the Suttons. There was no sign of the creatures and after the police finished their observations and writing their reports, they left the farm at around 2:15 a.m. \n\nTo the family’s horror, the things soon returned after the police department’s departure, and again, the men shot at the things until they finally as the sun came up. Upon their second visit, the police decided to call in the air force. The Suttons were interviewed separately, and there were no discrepancies in anyone’s account of the ordeal. He grew up in Iowa, his father a baker. He was very shy and had a face full of acne. Shunned and teased by the attractive girls at his high school, he grew to hate them and even fantasized about killing them. \n\nHe found solace in hunting and would spend a lot of time isolated in the woods. He later joined the army and was a successful drill instructor in Pocahontas, Iowa. Things were going well for Hanson, he even got married in 1960, but his dark anger would soon get the better of him. \n\nHe served 20 months in jail for burning down a bus garage for the public school system in Pocahontas. During his incarceration, his wife filed for divorce. After he got out, he moved to Anchorage, Alaska. \n\nPossibly inspired the short story “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell, Robert Hanson would abduct woman, fly them into the wilderness in his Cessna, and then hunt them down. This would later be his downfall. One claimed to have seen a large eyed creature, with a bulbous head and tendril like fingers. The eyes were glowing and it appeared to be climbing over an old stone wall. William Bartlette was the one that saw it best, later creating the famous “Dover Demon” sketch. \n\nJohn Baxter was walking through the woods that same night and claimed to see the same creature. Another young person, Abby Brabham, reported seeing the creature standing up, displaying its 4-foot tall stature. All three witnesses drew sketches of the creature and all three were very similar.\n\nKnown as the Mannegishi by the Cree Indians and Memegwesi by the Ojibwa, this little creature is thought to be very similar to the Dover Demon. Considered to be one of “the little people”, the memegwesi is a trickster, known to live in between the rocks of rivers and tip over canoes. It goes like this…\n\nIn ’67 a van-load of hippies, told a park-ranger named Quinlinn, they’d been awakened in the night by a scratch at the window, there was a dogman looking in and grinning.\n\nThis is allegedly a true encounter with a dogman happening along the Muskegon River in Michigan; however, reports of it are non-existent on the Internet. \n\nOne very similar account happened down in Arkansas back in October of 72. This is recounted by Pam and involves her husband, brother, and her two sleeping babies being terrorized by a wolfman while camping out of their Volkswagen van.  \n\nHe started the engine and that's when, in the glow from the headlights, we could see a hairy THING, 10 feet away and coming toward the van!\n \nAs it got closer, its silver-tipped hairs glistened in the light. It had a grayish streak from its shoulders down its back, to its buttocks. The creature was walking on 2 legs, was around 7 or 8 feet tall, had a barrel-chest, and skinny legs. It never gave us a good view of its eyes, so I can't tell you what they looked like. I COULD see that the face was not ape-like. It was dog-like. Its ears had tufts of fur on top of them and it was very human-like in its movements and general body structure.\n \nIt moved smoothly and quickly, around to the back of the van where it followed the base of the ridge, away from us. It lips were curled back revealing huge pointy teeth, and hands, not paws, but human like hands with claws are sharp as knifes. \n\nWith blood pouring out of its mouth, the group actually debated putting it in the back of their truck and bringing it back into town but Jacob was adamant that it was too heavy. They came up with the idea to come back and check on it after they were done at the jobsite. But when they came back, it was gone. \n\nLater that week, Jacob’s house was attacked. It started when Jacob and a member of his family heard howls coming from the distance. Something very large then rammed into the side of their mobile home, almost turning it over. Jacob thinks that it was the same creature that they had seen at the side of the road.
