      "body": "<html>\n<p>Hi there!</p>\n<p>My name is <strong>Wei-Ken Liao</strong>, on Instagram and other social networks i refer myself as \"<strong>weikendoit</strong>\" - a playful rendition to the slogan \"<em>We can do it</em>\"! Why did I choose this name? Easy as it is, I picked this nickname because I am a positive person and it represents my attitude of always seeing a plan B,... or C,... or even D.</p>\n<p>I believe in one of my mantra's, that says \"<em>Everything happens for a reason</em>\". During the past years of my career and of my personal life I have experienced events and made encounters with people, where everything could be traced back to the saying \"<em>Everything happens for a reason</em>\". We just need to find out <strong>what this reason is</strong>! Even behind the worst experience must be something good after all, otherwise all we do and what we live for is for nothing. But I will tell you more about that in a later blog post ;-)</p>\n<p>I was born and raised in Vienna, Austria, but currently I am living in Linz, which is a approximately 1 hour train ride away from Vienna. (Travel tip: take the \"Westbahn\", check their website early enough to find discount tickets or other deals!)<br>\nI am a dancer and musical performer and currently working here at the <a href=\"www.landestheater-linz.at\"><strong>Landestheater Linz</strong></a> (Regional State Theatre) as <strong>Resident Dance Captain</strong> for all musical theatre productions. I am in charge of all musicals that are produced and shown here, whilst I am performing on stage as well - not in all productions though. The shows we are playing have a very high standard and are chosen very specifically, namely not for their commercial effects in order to function as cashcows. The shows here are considered less mainstream-musicals, some of them unknown to the Austrian audience, hence we have the privilege and honor to play many German-speaking premieres here! What are my duties as Resident Dance Captain? I'll let you know...in a later blog post. Curious? ;-)</p>\n<p>So, why Steemit? I am trying myself out as blogger, hence I thought that Steemit would be a nice platform to establish and improve my skills as blogger and writer. Für Stephen Sondheims \"Assassins\" und die Europäische Erstaufführung von Dave Malloys \"Préludes\" übernahm er die Choreografie. \nDavor war Wei-Ken Liao in zahlreichen anderen Produktionen auf der Bühne zu sehen; dazu zählten allen voran \"A Chorus Line\" (Paul San Marco, Stadttheater Klagenfurt), \"Mackie Messer – Eine Salzburger Dreigroschenoper\" (Dance Captain, Salzburger Festspiele), \"Flashdance\" (Dance Captain, Theater St.Gallen), \"Aida\" (Mereb, Thuner Seespiele), \"Evita\" (Theater Erfurt), \"Bounce – The Killer Swing Musical\" (Regieassistent/Ensemble, Vindobona Wien), \"Musical Rocks!\" (Tänzer/Swing, Tourneeproduktion) und \"Miss Saigon\" (Stadttheater Klagenfurt). \nZudem war er Tänzer für Conchita Wurst, Adam Lambert, Natasha Bedingfield und Dave Stewart. \n\nAuch für Film und Fernsehen stand Wei-Ken Liao bereits vor der Kamera; so tanzte er in der TV-Liebeskomödie \"Bollywood lässt Alpen glühen\" und im Kinofilm \"Im Weißen Rössl – Wehe du singst!\".\n\nNeben seiner Tätigkeit als Musicaldarsteller ist er auch als Tanzdozent und freischaffender Choreograf tätig – er choreografierte u.a. für Puls4 (Finale von Herz von Österreich), PartyLite Austria und Europe, für REWE Group Austria und weitere Galas.",
