Let's start small. \n\n_It's better to have limited spending to challenge myself to find the most affordable use for my SBD, that gives me bigger satisfaction_\n\n<center>![splinterlandslog2020091026.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/weddinggift/UKFenfk1-splinterlands-log-20200910-26.png)</center>\n\nSo far, I have found out, based on card types in the game, it has different power points. \n\nAs far as I have observed, 1 - 6 cents of normal cards only gives out 10 power points; and it is the same from 5 - 15 cents of Rare cards only give you 40 power points; while Epic cards gets 200 points even from the lowest price.\n\nSo now with $1 USD worth, how much I could get? \n\nI could get around 5 epic cards less than 20 cents and get 1,000 points. \n\nI can also get 20 cards maximum 5 cents to get 800 points.\n\nI can get 50 cards less than 2 cents to gather 1,000 points.\n\nThis boils down to exactly what I want my deck to look like just to level them up ready for higher battles.\n\nThat is before spending for Splinters, at least $3.30 for 3 cards, and some are even more expensive. \n\n### At least I can widen my deck selection and plan how much I want to spend from my earnings.\n\n##### Maybe spend 1 USD worth of SBD a day could do the trick. \n\n<center>![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/weddinggift/roFgm5gN-image.png)</center>\n\nI can still have some chances for cards from the 15 items. \n\n<center>![rewards20200909.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/weddinggift/whsZgI7I-rewards-20200909.png)</center>\n\nEven though recently my quest rewards have pretty low probability to get all of them as cards as well.\n\n# Should I spend on orbs? \n\nI am not sure...\n\n<center>![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/weddinggift/KNtvM7Np-image.png)</center>\n\nThe probability of 5 cards to get higher power points is also lower than what I exactly want to budged from the marketplace. \n\n### So far I am still rather satisfied for getting around 10 cards for $1, but they are the ones I actually like. \n\nOh well, now I know what to do with my SBD when I want to battle. 😂\n\nI like it in the sense that I do not need to convert to STEEM and then only use it for other investment purposes.\n\n# <center>Until Then</center>\n\n<center>https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/weddinggift/LF6trYV5-splinterlands-log-20191209.png</center>\n\n",

      "body": "hey everyone!\n\nToday's the day to divert away from gaming experience and come to a curious \"investing\" experience from the Steemit Inc's new boss' exchange - Poloniex\n\n<center>![weddinggiftlog20200805.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/weddinggift/CBuE55kO-weddinggift-log-20200805.png)</center>\n\nThe fortunate part is that STEEM is still values 10x more than TRON, investing 100 TRX to test it out to see if it still works (since it was last year's Christmas promotion) and probably around whatever I have, 12.743 STEEM in my steemit wallet could worth testing out.\n\n---\n\n_especially when @crypto.piotr mentioned about the little \"panic\" looming because of the sudden power down from Steemit Inc_\n\n---\n\n# So how does the process going to be?\n\nI had about 2.5 SBD to play around into steem via our internal Steem blockchain market, I managed to gather around 12 STEEM plus whatever I had in hand I will try to send it to my poloniex account. \n\n<center>![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/weddinggift/NJ6yJsDY-image.png)</center>\n\nEven though transferring STEEM to Poloniex is seemless without fee, trading from STEEM to TRON will require some extras for taker and maker's trading fee.\n\nSo definitely I will loose a little STEEM along the way when I convert to TRX. \n\n<center>![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/weddinggift/4bybi73e-image.png)</center>\n\nI am just going to bold it and send it all out to poloniex; of course if you are doing so **Don't forget your MEMO** which I preferred to refrain from showing here.\n\n_Unless you'd like to donate some steem to my poloniex account..._ 😅\n\n<center>![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/weddinggift/ZyqgjAb3-image.png)</center>\n\nI do miss the seamless peer-to-peer exchange in @dses during the days when STEEM was boom; and everyone would be more than happy to just exchange for steem from one person to another without exchange fee. \n\nThose were the days we just checked on the exchange rate from @coingecko and we immediately exchange from steem to fiat and vice versa. \n\n##### Will this ideal exchange within local communities in the same region still take place for Steem? \n\nTime will tell.\n\n---\n\nI digress ... (because I'm waiting for 50 confirmations as I am typing this)\n\nI should not complain even though it takes about 6 minutes to complete a transaction between own STEEM account to Poloniex. \n\n<center>![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/weddinggift/THRtxIKO-image.png)</center>\n\nPoloniex has changed a bit on the Exchange page, and I am a little lost and looking for where I can trade my steem into TRX. \n\n<center>![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/weddinggift/KdbuyNTd-image.png) </center>\n\nThe easiest access, kudos to @poloniex is that it made the access to trading easier directly from the wallet.\n\nThe one thing I do not like is that the TROLL Box automatically launches on the left, blocking off the trading experience...\n\n<center>![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/weddinggift/DpYXyTAZ-image.png)</center>\n...plus it took me around 10 seconds to realise that I got to click on the buttons of buy and sell to switch the mode based on the same text box. This is very different from the traditional exchange User Interface, but I think it makes sense instead of having buy and sell set side by side. \n\n<center>![image.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/weddinggift/DjlcbaxQ-image.png)</center>\n\nThe good thing I can just click on the full amount or choose the percentage buttons to sell; but we need to remember since there's an incurring fees, I'd just do it all in a go since I am not trading a really huge amount.\n\n---\n\n# Now, let's see, if this really works....\n\nAnd the exchange is pretty seamless. Pretty much immediately TRX has been changed over.\n\n# Erm....
