      "body": "Mire mi celular y eran las siete con veinte minutos, una noche que parecía falta de emociones positivas en la localidad de Ravines Town o quizá solo eran ideas mías, estaba algo desmotivado, sin embargo la luna llena estaba iluminando las calles que parecían no prestarle demasiada importancia, aunque las nubes la tapaban a ratos no podía dejar de verla y divagar en mis pensamientos, hace pocos minutos mis abuelos habían discutido, y es algo curioso no podía dejar de pensar en el hecho de que eran treinta y uno de Diciembre faltaban solo horas para despedir el año y el ambiente que se respiraba en la casa estaba tan tenso que incluso yo me vi agobiado de pensamientos negativos, a pesar de eso ni bien eran las nueve, ya me había bañado y vestido con un jean azul, una camisa blanca y por supuesto mis botines negros, incluso me dio tiempo de pulir y alistar mi barba para la acción, aunque si bien lo pienso fue un total desperdicio, aunque lo curioso era que a pesar de estar por terminar el año, no se lograban escuchar demasiados fuegos artificiales como en años anteriores me atrevería a decir que eran casi nulos de no ser por los ecos que provenían de la plaza principal de Ravines Town.\nEran ya pasadas las diez yo aún me encontraba en el frente de batalla, todos esos dulces no se venderían solos, aunque la venta no fue mala me atrevo a decir que esperaba algo mejor, mi madre, mi padrastro, mi pequeña hermana Alexa y mi hermano Lucius estaban cercanos a la plaza central pasando el rato, querían alejarse un poco del ambiente de la casa de los abuelos, yo aún estaba algo optimista y con ganas de salir a festejar con algún conocido, algo difícil considerando que a pesar de haber pasado gran parte de mi niñez acá en Ravines no tenía demasiados conocidos de con los que salir más allá de mi primo Brian y mi prima Eliana. Bien temprano había pasado Brian por el frente de la casa y me dijo que posiblemente saldría después de haber partido el año, así que decidí que yo también saldría a esa hora, como era de suponer ni bien pasadas las once ya todos en casa de mis abuelos estaban dormidos a excepción de mi tía Onel y mi abuelo Nicola, mi abuelo estaba vendiendo como de costumbre aunque con una vestimenta muy descuidada para la ocasión, casi como un vagabundo incluso tenía la camisa sin abotonar, ya faltando treinta minutos para partir el año decidí empezar a recoger todo para ir a la plaza con mi familia, justo antes de salir decidí cambiar mi camisa por una azul me pareció mucho mejor la verdad me sentía algo incómodo con la blanca además de no querer mancharla, salí apresurado y llegue justo mientras sonaba el himno nacional por la radio anunciando el nuevo año, luego de un abrazo muy sincero entre todos aunque mucho menos hipócrita que otros años pues salimos a caminar mientras compartíamos unas frituras de maíz llegamos al malecón a observar la luna y sentir la fría brisa que se aproximaba calmando nuestras emociones, pasados unos cuarenta minutos de eso todos se fueron a dormir así que salí en busca de Brian, su madre me dijo que no estaba pero podría encontrarlo en la fiesta de Hugo así que sin pensarlo partí en tan solo quince minutos ya estaba en medio de un gran montón de personas, vaya alboroto que hacia este Hugo, solo veía volar los billetes por todas partes, lanzados sin temor alguno en medio de una música muy caliente y bailes más que sensuales, suena como un video de cualquier rapero norte americano pero no, esto realmente pasaba en Ravines Town, luego de buscar un rato no conseguí a Brian pero me conseguí a un amigo y sus primas, me dije listo ya tengo con quien andar, pero por alguna razón no encontraba animo ni entusiasmo en medio de aquel alboroto como si me faltase algo, me dije seguro son los nervios ya se te pasara, pero que va después de cuarenta minutos en medio de tal fiesta, no despertó en mi ningún animo de bailar con aquellas mujeres dispuestas a mover sus curvas junto a mi cuerpo, luego de mirar sin ánimos de nada decidí marcharme y afrontar el hecho de que no era para mí esa noche, camine lentamente por las calles sabiendo que solo había perdido mi tiempo, llegue a mi destino consciente de que algo así no se repetiría, al menos no muy pronto, pero no lamentaba mi decisión, aun así esa fue la peor despedida del año que recuerdo hasta ahora.\n\n*Algo triste para alguien tan joven.*",
