      "body": "The post-office allowed the creation of experimental radio stations in 1922. Then, the British Broadcasting Company was created as an independent company as the wish as its first general manager John Reith.\nA Royal Charter created the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) in 1927.\nTelevision broadcasting became regular in 1936. In 1937, TV showed for the first time the Coronation procession of King George VI. However, Television broadcasting had to stop during WWII because if the risk of the use of the signals as a beacon by German’s bombers. Today TV is the first leisure activity in people ‘s time spending.\nThe BBC is managed by 12 Governors, 4 of them represent Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the English regions. Fees were introduced to finance TV broadcasting: everyone has to pay £126,50 a year for a colour TV, £42 for a black and white one. People aged over 75 years old pay for free and blind people pay 50% of the fees. The annual budget, £3,8 millions is mostly financed by the fees but also by the commercial service BBC Worldwide which sells videos, books...\nBecause of its neutral and independent position, the BBC knew clashes with authorities which accused them of having an unpatriotic stance in some circumstances.\nThe main channels of the BBC are BBC one, the first television channel which have a high quality reputation, BBC two talking about national and international events, BBC three, BBC four, BBC parliament, BBC News 24 and CBeebies and CBBC for children.\nInternational channels do exist too: BBC world, BBC Prime, BBC America, BBC Canada, BBC Japan and BBC kids are broadcast out from Great Britain.\nThe BBC became quickly the symbol of British society.\n1954 saw the creation of the ITA (Independent Television Authority) which role was to regulate new television network. The following year, commercial televisions, like ITV1, financed by advertising, appeared. This channel broadcast\nprograms about sport like the UEFA Champions League...\nOther independent television channels appeared like ITV2 in 1998, ITV3 in 2004, ITV4 in 2005 and ITV News.\nChannel 4 created by the 1980 Broadcasting Act was known for their provocation movies showing sex or violent scenes. A red triangle on the corner of the screen announces a “Special Discretion Required”.\nBritish Sky Broadcasting, a pay TV service (Sky News, Eurosport...) is the most popular subscription TV service in the United Kingdom.       "body": "Hi everyone, \nAs a student, i want to share with you, my work on the English and American world.\nSo, first, I'll begin with the most essential deed of the US history : its constitution of 1776. \n\nAt the beginning of the 17th century two major movements settled in the New World, to develop commerce with England. A chart of conduct was quickly drafted to organize society and preserve the peace there. The first enfranchised men enabled a representation system in local meetings. Direct democracy was born in America. In most of the 13 colonies the system was\nsimilar; with a clear separation between executive / legislative / judicial power (checks and balances to guarantee surveillance of each power) and a bicameral system of two houses for the legislative one.\nGradually difficulties appeared, particularly with the British government, since autonomy became commonplace in more and more commercial areas. New acts were imposed between 1760 and 1775, which were the fuel for protests and a claim for independence. The Boston Tea Party (May 1773) epitomizes this case, as it stirred the revolutionary spirit of the Declaration of Independence (July 4, 1776).\nCongresses in Philadelphia gathered the grievances of the protestors, among whom many Presidents to come. In 1777, the first articles were published for a Confederation of States, with unfortunate shortcomings\nand limits. Under America’s first governing document, the Articles of Confederation, the national government was weak and states operated like independent countries with only one chamber of Parliament. But in 1787 the Continental Congress completed a new Constitution, ratified by all States in 1790.\nThe two diverging trends are about the autonomy of each state, or on the contrary a strong central government. Originally , The new U .S.\nConstitution established America’s national government and fundamental laws, and guaranteed certain basic rights for its citizens. It was signed on September 17, 1787, by delegates to the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia, presided over by George Washington. Also at the 1787 convention, delegates devised a plan for a stronger federal government with three branches along with a similar system of checks and balances (mutual control).\nBut still, a bill of rights lacked.
