Recently I did a post on my favorite [Gundams](https://steemit.com/anime/@ultimostarman/top-5-gundam-models-from-the-franchise) of the franchise and now I am looking at my top five mobile suits that are not gundams from the entire gundam franchise.\n\n## Tallgeese\n![Tallgeese.gif](https://steemitimages.com/DQmTfSp969EDpBNmFXF8Nb7hwuXVjLMz4AvzbwX1M5nTmJA/Tallgeese.gif)\nThe Tallgeese mobile suit makes its appearance in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing during the After Colony era of the timeline. Tallgeese is used by the Organization of Zodiac (OZ) in the anime and is notable for being piloted by Zechs Merquise. \n\nTallgeese is considered to be the prototype design that all gundams and moblie suits in the After Colony timeline. Tallgeese has had two additional models created in with the second being nearly identical to the first due to using parts of the first after it was destroyed.\n\nTallgeese is fitted with weaponry that enables it to perform both at close-range and long-range fighting very well. Tallgeese's weapons include:\n- Dober Gun\n- Beam Sabers\n- Shield \n- Missile Pod\n\n## Gouf\n![Gouf.gif](https://steemitimages.com/DQmdjGvvvLEjKjkcJsHLHegSMSK9FKH9TSguQqajcm3Azby/Gouf.gif)\nThe Gouf was a mobile suit that made it's appearance in Mobile Suit Gundam during the Universal Century era of the timeline. The Gouf was mainly developed as a stronger version of the Zaku II used by the Principality of Zeon. Gouf's were used mostly as a mass produced model and no notable pilots used it during the war in Mobile Suit Gundam. \n\nGouf's were one of the mobile suits that saw limited use and eventually had production stopped as it was other models became more favored for battle. \n\nThe Gouf's main weapons consisted of:\n- Machine Gun Hand \n- Heat Rod\n\nIf needed, the pilot could use all standard weapons that were used by Zaku II mobile suits. \n\n## ZAKU Warrior\n![ZAKU Warrior.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmSaia1kaGZyfiUAL2KbcA4VHARLCs4Qv8p3JN5189NdPQ/ZAKU%20Warrior.jpg)\nThe ZAKU Warrior made its appearance in Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Destiny during the Cosmic Era of the timeline. The ZAKU Warrior was a mass-produced unit used by the organization Zodiac Alliance of Freedom Treaty (ZAFT) and thus was used by many different pilots.\n\nThe ZAKU Warrior was created after the first war that took place in the timeline. This particular mobile suited is noted for being stronger that other models and was used as a means to cope with military restrictions of a treaty that was signed in the anime.\n\nThe ZAKU Warrior has weapons that allow it to be used as both a long-range and short-range fighter depending on the situation. It's weapons include:\n- Hand Grenades\n- Shoulder Shield \n- Beam Tomahawk\n- Beam Rifle\n- \"Cattus\" Recoiless Rifle \n\n## Gadessa\n![Untitled.png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmXMDqGm6miFnDYEHWzjmwrhjMrXH52d1EPt13YcWjVm9a/Untitled.png)\nThe Gadessa mobile suit makes it appearence in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 during the Anno Domini timeline. The Gadessa was a special mobile suit built for the antagonist organization Innovators and was piloted by characters Revive Revival and Hiling Care.\n\nThe Gadessa was produced in limited numbers as only Innovators were able to pilot these suits to its full capability. The Gadessa would serve as the base design for more advanced mobile suits used by the Innovators.\n\nThe Gadessa is mostly a long-range fighter and support unit though it does have close range weapons if the situation calls for it. Its weaponry includes:\n- GN Mega Launcher \n- Beam Saber\n- GN Vulcan Wrist Guns\n- GN Cutter\n\n## Jesta\n![Jesta.png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmYXUrntJBfpp5YeNzX6xFGQZmsiAoARJ6i5v5RLzsxRrA/Jesta.png)\nThe Jesta mobile suit makes it appearance in Mobile Suit Unicorn during the Universal Century timeline. The Jesta mobile suit is used by the Earth Federation and is used mainly as an escort unit for Unicorn Gundam. \n\nBeing that the Jesta suit is a escort unit, its main objectives on the battlefield is to destroy ordinary enemy units so that more powerful gundams can fight stronger enemies without sustaining damage from needless fights.\n\nJesta mobile suits are equipped with various weapons to help complete its mission on the battlefield. These weapons include:\n- Vulcan Head Guns \n- Hand Grenades \n- Beam Rifle\n- Beam Saber\n- Shield\n\nDo you have a favorite mobile suit from the gundam franchise. The concept of giant battle robots seems so cliche and overdone, but it seems more often than not the core gundam series have consistently deep, meaningful stories. Just finished watching Iron Blooded Orphans and I still haven't fully recovered.",

During this time space colonies representing nations of the earth are created and the Gundam Fight Tournament is established to determine which nation rules all of space.\n\nShining Gundam was created by Neo Japan to take place in the 13th Gundam Fight and is piloted by Domon Kasshu.\n\nLike most Gundams, Shining Gundam has various weapons that it uses in battle. These weapons consisit of:\n- Beam Sabers \n- Vulcan Head Guns\n- Smoke Grenades\n- Shining Finger (ultimate attack)\n\n\n## Gundam Heavyarms Kai (Endless Waltz Version)\n![Heavyarms Custom.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmQnf6jmv9htmEiLRV6CNSKJgUg8tAErbcf8zvyD4ZCMFE/Heavyarms%20Custom.jpg)\nGundam Heavyarms Kai makes its appearance in Mobile Suit Gundam Wing series. Making an appearance as well in the Endless Waltz movie, this Gundam is a part of the After Colony era of the timeline.\n\nHeavyarms Kai is the second version of Heavyarms model and it is known mostly for its incredible assortment of weapons making it a powerhouse on the battlefield. The pilot of this Gundam is the young Trowa Barton.\n\nHeavyarms Kai uses more bullet and missile weapons compared to other Gundams and its arsenal includes:\n\n- Vulcan Head Guns\n- Beam Gatling Cannons\n- Homing Missiles\n- Chest Gatling Guns \n- Micro Missiles \n\n## Blitz Gundam\n![Blitz.png](https://steemitimages.com/DQmdzayREdjBtj79a21ySyKpcSKrkrcU689W1Kxn7Cuau27/Blitz.png)\nBlitz Gundam makes its appearance in the Mobile Suit Gundam SEED which takes place in the Cosmic Era of the Gundam timeline. This Gundam is piloted by Nicol Amalfi in the anime.\n\nBlitz Gundam is special in that it is meant to be used as a stealth unit as compared to a front line fighter. The black color helps with stealth capabilities and Blitz is equipped with special systems that make it able to not be picked up on radar systems.\n\nBlitz Gundam's weapons allow for it to switch from attack to defense quickly making it a versatile fighter. Its weapons include:\n\n- Gleipnir Grapping Claw \n- Trikeros Shield System \n\nBlitz Gundam's Shield houses different weapons such as a beam saber, beam rifle, and penetrating darts.\n\n\n## Gundam Nadleeh\n![Gundam Nadleeh.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmVm2McFeUmxVb3kVQkQ5EcRnkN41Mh2qsBiQRZnT7u2N6/Gundam%20Nadleeh.jpg)\nGundam Nadleeh makes its appearance in Mobile Suit Gundam 00 which takes place during the Anno Domini era of the timeline. It can only appear when the pilot sheds the heavy armor that is worn by Virtue. This Gundam is most known for being piloted by character Amuro Ray.\n\nThe RX-78-2 Gundam is one of the most iconic Gundams from the entire franchise even having a life-sized statue that was built of it. \n\nThe weapons that the RX-78-2 Gundam uses in battle consist of:\n- Vulcan Head Guns\n- Beam Sabers \n- Beam Rifle \n- Shield \n- Hyper Hammer \n- Beam Javelin\n\nThese are just a few of the many Gundams that appear in the anime and manga of the Gundam franchise.
