Fear doesnt get you through an open door; it keeps you in the hallway. Well why would God want you to be abnormal?\n\nHe doesnt. He truly desires for you to be set free from all your fears.\n\nThere are many facets and aspects of fear. One of the big ones is having fear of what others think of you. People do things, say things, and even buy things because of the fear that they have of what others think.\n\nMany times people join clubs or organizations because they are afraid that if they dont, others might think badly of them.\n\nPeople say things and talk a certain way because they are afraid that they might not say the right thing in front of the right people.\n\nPeople purchase items because of fear not measuring up to those around them. And on and on it goes.\n\nYou dont have to live with fear. Here are 3 simple keys to getting rid of fear.\n\nFirst, start by realizing that God truly loves you and that His love for you is unconditional. The Bible teaches that nothing can separate you from His love. Nothing. His love for you does not change, ever!\n\nSecond, ask God to help you to get rid of all your fears. He has promised to deliver you from all your fears. That is His desire for you a life without fear.\n\nThird, make decisions based on what is best for you, not how it may or may not appear to others. Youll never, ever be able to please everyone, so stop trying to. Youll never, ever be right in everybodys eyes, so stop trying to.\n\nWhen you make a decision, ask yourself, Why am I making this decision? Is it based on fear? And for every funny and touching story they have, they will be able to tell you another for every hardship they encountered. Parenting is something that is done in many different ways by each parent. The following are four general styles employed by parents.\n\nAuthority: Authoritarian parents rule on just that: authority. Commands are given to children that they must follow regardless of the circumstances. If these commands are not followed, harsh punishment will ensue. These parents do not welcome feedback from their children. In fact, it is met with severe punishment. The children tend to be quiet and unhappy. They have more of a fear than a love for their parents. Male children have trouble dealing with anger and female children have trouble facing adversity due to their heavily structured life where nothing ever changes.\n\nIndulgent: Indulgent parents tend to be described as lenient. They allow immature and childish behavior. These parents expect the children to learn from their mistakes and to fend for themselves in most times of need. These parents tend to be democratic and allow for feedback from there children on issues. They will hear both sides of an argument and usually make a compromise. They are the happy medium. While expecting proper behavior from their children, they welcome feedback and questioning on certain issues. Theyre able to demand things of their children but are also able to respond to what theyre child says, questions and requests. These children tend to be the happiest, most confident and self assured of all the mentioned parenting styles. It is very difficult to be a purely authoritative parent.\n\nPassive: Passive parenting is being completely uninvolved. These parents may never be home due to immaturity, work or the like. These children are usually raised by grandparents, older siblings, babysitters or themselves. There is no parental involvement at all.",

You need to have something to contrast your happiness with. What is black without white?\n\nEven though you know that sadness is a part of life, let’s try to make it a small part of life.\n\nWith that said, here are a few tips to help you feel better when you are feeling down in the dumps. They are easy to do, easy to practice every day and they work!\n\n1. Stand up straight, sit up straight. When your body is in alignment your energy can flow and when your energy is flowing freely, you can flow.\n\n2. Smile! Yes, just smile. Easy to do and effective.\n\n3. Repeat positive affirmations. Things like “I feel good”, “Positive energy flows through my body”, “I see the good in all”.\n\n4. Listen to some music that you like. It doesn’t have to be anything specific, just something you enjoy. Certain types of music work better than others, but experiment and see what works for you. Studies have shown that Classical music and new age music work best.\n\n5. Take some time out for yourself, relax and read a book, do something for yourself.\n\n6. Meditate. Meditation is an excellent habit to develop. It will serve you in all that you do. If you are one who has a hard time sitting still, then try some special meditation CDs that coax your brain into the meditative state. Just search for “Meditation music” on Google or Yahoo and explore.\n\nOur outside work is simply a reflection of our inside world. Remember there is no reality just your perception of it. Use this truth to your advantage. Whenever you are sad, realize that it is all in your mind and you do have the power to change your perception.\n\nThese tips will lift you up when you are down, but don’t just use them when you are sad. Try and practice them everyday, make them a habit. You will be surprised at how these simple exercises will keep the rainy days away.\n\nOn a final note, if you are in a deep depression that you can’t seem to shake, please go see a doctor. This is your life and don’t take any chances.",
