      "body": "This week we had another shooting at a school and once again it is time for me to turn off the news, and stop reading Twitter and Facebook to avoid the idiotic gun control talk.\n\nSo many people, including many friends, just cannot think for themselves anymore. They want to ban AR-15's. Why? Because they look scary, you do not need that gun to hunt, it shoots to many rounds, blah blah blah. What you wont hear is a single one, of what I know are well meaning people, offer an actual solution that will work. The ONLY way to stop gun violence would be to create a magic button to make ALL firearms just disappear, and if we have that kind of power we could just use it to make evil people go away and throw in cancer while we are at it.\n\nUse your common sense people, murder is already illegal everywhere yet murder happens. Gun laws are very strict in Chicago, and yet they kill each other daily with them there. Fix that place with these \"fantasy gun control laws\" and we can talk about doing it to the nation. It wont happen, that is just fact.\n\nThe lack of common sense goes even further when we do not let security carry guns at businesses or teachers protect our students in schools. We even advertise it! No gun zone, do your worst, no one will stop you. I just cannot believe the stupidity of the masses in America, the inability to see both sides of a problem and work for a solution instead of tearing each other down. I mean I get it, it breaks your heart to know what those kids went through, and you just don't want it to happen again. Guess what, gun owners don't either. But ask yourselves. Have you been spitting hate at them? Are you not part of the problem when you fail to recognize the difference between good and evil, and lump those that do not want to lose the right to bear arms into the evil category? \n\nLet me give you an example of the absolute hypocrisy that happens each and every day, and please, tell me I am wrong on this.\n\nDrunk driving kills people daily, mothers, fathers and and children. Every day there should be outrage that alcohol is available to just walk in a store and buy. There should be calls to abolish it! Start talking about that to one of your outraged liberal or conservative friends and you will get a whole lot of back peddling. They blame the individual, not the drink. You see it is easy to want to take away something you don't care about, it makes you feel better because you are sick about what happened, and everyone else is crying for action so you do to, and because you cannot think for yourself, you fall into the echo chamber of calling for a ban on assault rifles. So why don't we do do the same for alcohol? Because we know the vast majority of people that drink do not kill people, and we know prohibition will not work. \n\nDo you understand that a 9mm pistol can hold multiple rounds in a clip, and clips can be changed in seconds? The effective difference in that and an AR-15 is accuracy at distance and they way it looks. So why is that important? Because when people say you have no need for a particular firearm they look at it from the point of view that it is over the top. Let society break down from a natural disaster or pandemic and see how much you enjoy being unarmed, and yes I know that is extreme and unlikely but it is always a possibility. Also, remember the only way to protect yourself from a corrupt or evil government is by being armed. It is why it is in the constitution, and it is a bit ironic that many of the people that hate the current president, would like to be disarmed so that if things were to ever get worse, they cannot fight back.\n\nSo what can we do?       "body": "Well, I watched my Decentraland investment soar way up, and I really considered taking it off the table at .00000620, but I didn't, and now it is way down due to the rise in BTC. I am still up, and I am still remaining calm on it. I have decided I will probably exit when it gets up in the .00000700 range and move to Cardano, as it seems to be at a good entry point. Hopefully Haejin revisits the technicals before then.\n\nHe had a nice summary a few days ago but much has happened in the last couple of days and I am not sure if they affect the short term look.\n\nI have watched more videos and read more on the technicals of trading than I ever thought I would. Things are making more sense, but I still feel as if I am guessing. I am hopeful that I will have that ahh-haa moment where some of it starts to be more clear, but for now I just sort of groan and make confused faces when I am trying to find Elliot Waves. Cardano is a perfect example of something I just cannot make heads or tails of.       "body": "I blogged myself into it! I have purchased Decentraland at .00000345, about 5 cents, it seems to have bottomed out and hopefully will begin the long climb. I have to be honest, I am nervous. I am out of the BTC race until this resolves, and that could be weeks, and we all know BTC could go to 25k before the end of December, soo yea, well I am not going to think about that.\n\nWeird how when you click that button, you want to immediately click it again and sell, sell, sell! I am going to try and keep from doing that by keeping the calming voice of haejin in my mind.\n\nCurrently haejin is the only person on steemit that I follow every day and he is the reason I made an account. His blog is https://steemit.com/@haejin. He is awesome! He post multiple times a day on cryptcurrency trading, he teaches, he counsels, and he is a voice of reason in the cryptocurrency space. I know from listening to him, that the quickest way to lose your money is to chase other money. So I am going to tell myself that until Christmas, then I will decide to hold or sell.       "body": "I am fairly new to Cryptocurrency. I have purchased my small share of a Bitcoin, waded through alt coins and tried telling everyone I know about the fact that this is a once in a lifetime chance to make money with cryptocurrency. They all think I am crazy. Bitcoin is a bubble, everyone will lose their money, yada, yada, yada.\n\nSo seeing as I do not have anyone to talk to in person about many of the things that stir my passions, I started this blog. Hello, and I am TruthFirst, even if you do not agree with me, I am going to put my honest thoughts here each day. Political correctness will not get in the way of saying how I see something.\n\nSo, the story of my passion at the moment is Bitcoin. Somehow my small fraction keeps making me more profits and, if I just left it alone, I believe it would continue to do so. However I am now torn because I stumbled across Decentraland - MANA and I believe this has everything coming together, at just the right time, to see this coin soar like no other. But do I believe that enough to give up my stake in bitcoin? Here are my thoughts as of now.\n\nDecentraland is a world, built on the blockchain, where you buy land and build anything you want on it. From what I have read, I believe you can produce items, invent games, attend concerts really anything you want to do, and all of it is paid for with MANA the coin that shot up 200% on Bittrex on 12/06/2017.  It has given up most of those gains when the price of BTC shot up, which makes it seem like even more of a value.\n\nHere is the company website. decentraland.org\n\nSo why do I think this may be a monumental chance to see a big profit? \n\nFirst and foremost, unlike a lot of coins, this one is actually used for purchasing power in the game. So for instance they are having the first land sale auction starting on December 15th. Technically you can get a 10m x 10m piece of land for 1000 mana, about $53.00 dollars at current price of .00000345. That is not a very big piece of land, and there is no way it is actually going to sell for the minimum price. So as they lead up to the sale, it makes sense to me that the MANA price should go up. Once bidding has started, I expect a second jump as land prices shoot through the roof and people scramble to buy more MANA to buy more land.\n\nNow, you may be thinking that is just crazy talk, but look at Cryptokitties. I don't understand the fascination with those things, but they are such a big deal they bogging down the ETH network. Building a world, much like the OASIS in Ready Player One, seems infinitely more cool! Plus also, I think you can bring that kittie to virtual life in Decentraland.\n\nI have not decided if I would want to hold long term or not. I do believe that long term this is going to soar, but there could be a dip after the land rush as people wait for the next phase, which will be the playable portion. I also think they are burning many of the coins during purchase, which would only push the remaining coins up in value. \n\nYou tell me, am I just projecting my love for a book on this project? Ready Player One is in my top five books of all time, and I have read a lot of books! To be fair, most of the things he writes about were in my wheelhouse of life experience, so I may be bias, but still, Steven Spielberg is making the movie and that will be out on March 30th, 2018. The bonus for this as it relates to Decentraland, is that the trailers are already running, exposing more people to the idea of a virtual world.\n\nI think I have blogged too good.
