| title | 2017 E7 10th Yard Report - Rookie Watch (Part III) |
| body | Rookie Watch Part III Alright, you can probaly feel the 2017 football season (as well as the fantasy drafts) fast approching. With that being said, here are a few more rookiees to keep an eye on this coming preseason and season. # 1.Samuel Curtis *The person*: Curits has quick speed and versatility. Some have compared him to Percy Harvin. *The place*: In CAR, Curtis is expected to take the slot reciever position, and yet he could take some snaps in the running game as well, if so - he could have good numbers even as a rookie WR. *X Factors*: Curtis seems to have been bitten by the injury bug early, and has missed some valuable time at camp. *What to watch for*: How he is used. Does he get any looks in the backfield? How many looks in the passing game? # 2.Jamaal Williams (GB) *The person*: Williams is a 4th round draft pick, but he has good size at 6’ and being 212lbs. *The place*: GB already has a dynamic RB in Ty Montgomery. However, Montgomery has reportedly struggled with pass protection, something that Williams could be better at with his size. In addition, Williams could be the goal-line back (one on a very good offense). *X Factors*: The RB coach (Ben Sirmans) says that williams will be the #2. *What to watch for*: How much time Williams gets on the field as the #2? Will he in fact be used as a goal line back? Will he be used any other way… change of pace back? # 3.John Ross *The person*: John Ross is fast, and was drafted #9 overall. Unfortunatly, Ross has been recovering from off season shoulder injury. *The place*: At CIN, Ross has the oppurtunity to be a good #2, to the very good #1 who would usually draw most of the attention from a defensive backfield. *X Factors*: Brandon Lafell had 107 targets last year. That was with A.J. Green gone for 6 weeks however. Tyler Boyd had 81. The point is, if Ross can stay on the field, he will likely get his targets. *What to watch for*: How long before he gets to play. It’s looking like he will be able to play week #1, but will he get on the field at any time during the preseason? # 4.Marlon Mack *The person*: Mack has been desribed as a big play waiting to happen, and is a dynamic back. Mack is USF’s all time leader in yards rushing, all-purpose yards, and TD’s. *The place*: IND has one of the best backs of the last decade in Frank Gore. Gore just keeps going, and going, and going. But, eventually Gore will hang up the cleats. So, this makes Mack a back with massive potential, especially in dynasty leagues. IND has had a pretty good offense after all. *X Factors*: One of keys cogs (if not THE cog) to that offense is Andrew Luck however, and he happens to be sidelined at this time, and may not be able to return before week #1. *What to watch for*: Can Mack out perform Christine Michael and Robert Turbin? More importantly, will Luck get on the field at anytime soon, and how will he look when he does? If Luck can stay on the field, and Gore ever gets off the field, Mack could be in line for some heafty fantasy points. Up Next: Sleepers to Watch |

| title | 2017 E6 10th Yard Report - Rookie Watch (Part II) |
| body | Rookie Watch Part II Ok, so in the first installment of our rookie watch, we looked at the guys that everyone mostly already knows about. Here are some more rookies to keep an eye on, despite being a little less noticed than those first 4 guys mentioned. You may wish to add them on the 2nd end of your draft. And they have a bit more value in Dynasty leagues. # 1. Cory Davis *The person*: Davis definitly has the talent to be a fantasy force. He is 6’-3”. He has reportedly looked “explosive” in camp. He had an ankle issue earlier in camp, but said that he is 100% recovered. *The place*: TEN has been a run heavy team, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The Offense as a whole has other weapons, this leaves room for a rookie like Davis to grow and develop. *X Factors*: TEN’s QB situation is stable. Tajae Sharpe has been injured, and is still recovering. What this means is that Davis is likely going to start opposite Rishard Matthews. *What to watch for*: Rookie WR’s usually take a little time to develop. Few dominate early. Look to see how Davis looks adjusting to the NFL. # 2. Samaje Perine *The person*: Perine (pee-rhine) had 196 carries for 1,060 yards (5.4 yards per carry) and 10 touchdowns his last year at Oklahoma, adding 10 catches for 106 yards and a touchdown in 2016. This was all while sharing a backfield with Joe Mixon (who was the lead back at Oklahoma). *The place*: In WAS, Perine will have to dethrone Rob Kelly who had mixed reviews on his performance. Early speculation is that Kelly will be the seasons' starter, and leader of the backfield in touches, with Perine taking over as the #1 RB by mid-season. WAS as a whole certainly has the potential to be a very good offense for the 2017 season. *X Factors*: Redskins ranked 21st in rushing yards last year, 2nd in passing yards. So, they have been a passing team, and the NFC East looks primed to be a pass heavy division this year. *What to watch for*: Since many expect Perine to eventually take the reigns from Kelly, look for how these two do in the preseason, and how many touches they get. # 3. O.J. Howard *The person*: Howard is 6’-6”, and has been said to be the most pro-ready TE to come out of the NFL draft in a long time. His physical tools are top notch. *The place*: TB has a good offense with a developing QB in the NFC South, an offense heavy division. However, part of that TB offense is an already established Cameron Brate, along with some other pretty talented receivers. *X Factors*: Much like WR’s, TE’s usually take some time to develop before becoming dominate players. Therefore, Howard may be more of a dynasty play. *What to watch for*: How much he is used, since Brate is still there. Also, if and how fast he adjusts to pro level play. # 4. David Njoku *The person*: Similar to Howard, Njoku is has the athletic profile to dominate. *The place*: CLE has a good running offense. They also lack any established WR’s, and they let their best TE go in Gary Barnidge. This means that Njoku has an open door of opportunity in CLE. *X Factors*: If Brock Osweiler gets the nod to start in CLE, look for Njoku to get plenty of targets. Osweiler has a history of boosting a TE’s value. On the other hand, If DeShone Kizer starts, Njoku could benefit from that too, as rookie QB’s often fall back on their TE’s. *What to watch for*: Njoku looked like a man among boys in college. In CLE he will have the opportunity to shine, and he has the talent to do so. The volume he gets may be enough to give him fantasy value, but will the team ever be good enough to put up points? | title | S1E5 10th Yard Report - Rookie Watch (Part I) |
| body | Rookie Watch Part I # 1.Leonard Fournette ***The person***: Some say that he is the next Adrian Peterson. That's pretty good. Almost all agree he has the talent needed to succeed. ***The place***: The Jags have franchise QB (at least for now), and passing weapons. This means that Fournette can come in and augment what the Jags already have in place. Their defense should be improved too, which favors more ball control game scripts, which means better numbers for Fournette. ***X Factors***: Fournette gets a tough welcome to the NFL with some match-ups against some of the better run D's. You may see him do better *after* the first 3 weeks (HOU, TEN, BAL). He was the Jags first round pick (4th overall) because they are going to use him. Offensive line is not the best, but it may not matter. ***What to watch for***: Does he pass the "eye test" in the NFL? In the preseason, we would like to see what he looks like against NFL players, as opposed to collegiate players. # 2.Christian McCaffrey ***The person***: McCaffrey is a weapon, and a play maker, a “home-run hitter”. It’s in his blood. ***The place***: Carolina has been a running team, but they have other RB’s that are going to also get touches. In addition to J. Stewart, you still have Cameron Artis-Payne, and Fozzy Whittaker, not to mention that Curtis Samuel could get some touches from the backfield too. All diluting McCaffrey’s value. ***X Factors***: McCaffrey is a great as a receiver. His value is definitely greater in PPR or .5 PPR leagues. He also will likely be involved in the return game. So, in leagues that award points for yards and TD’s in the kicking game (mine do), he gets a boost. ***What to watch for***: It will be hard to see just how Carolina intends on using him in the preseason. But he has missed some time at camp, and had some injury concerns. So, look to see how sharp he looks - does he look like he gets this new system, and how he fits into it? Since he went to Stanford, I guess he will. # 3.Joe Mixon ***The person***: Well, his head coach Marvin Lewis says that Mixon is “off the charts talent-wise” ***The place***: CIN is not a great place for a rookie RB since the backfield is a bit volatile. There are other (non-rookie) RBs already there, so Mixon will have to battle it out with, and prove he deserves more touches in a competition with Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard. ***X Factors***: CIN’s O line was not good last year. They do have a nice passing offense which should keep NFL defenses honest though, and not let them key in on the run. ***What to watch for***: How does Mixon perform in comparison to his teammates in the backfield facing the same opponents? # 4.Dalvin Cook ***The person***: Cook was touted as one of the more complete backs in the draft. He was a dynamic weapon at Florida, and is proven as a pass catcher out of the back field. He would get a boost in PPR and .5 PPR leagues because of this. ***The place***: MIN had a bad Oline last year, though they did make some moves to improve. MIN did sign Latavius Murray, but right now it looks like it’s Cook’s job to lose as Murray is still recovering from an ankle injury. ***X Factors***: MIN starts the season against NO and PIT, which are favorable for the rookie RB. It is reported that Cook may have a role in the KR game. If this holds true, he would naturally get a boost in leagues that award points in the kicking game. ***What to watch for***: Mainly, we need to see how the MIN Oline looks this year. Also, is Murray ready and steady? If not, Cook could be great just from the volume he will see. Up next - Rookie Watch Part II |

In the preseason, we would like to see what he looks like against NFL players, as opposed to collegiate players. \n \n# 2.Christian McCaffrey \n***The person***: McCaffrey is a weapon, and a play maker, a “home-run hitter”. It’s in his blood.\n\n***The place***: Carolina has been a running team, but they have other RB’s that are going to also get touches. In addition to J. Stewart, you still have Cameron Artis-Payne, and Fozzy Whittaker, not to mention that Curtis Samuel could get some touches from the backfield too. All diluting McCaffrey’s value.\n\n***X Factors***: McCaffrey is a great as a receiver. His value is definitely greater in PPR or .5 PPR leagues. He also will likely be involved in the return game. So, in leagues that award points for yards and TD’s in the kicking game (mine do), he gets a boost. \n\n***What to watch for***: It will be hard to see just how Carolina intends on using him in the preseason. But he has missed some time at camp, and had some injury concerns. So, look to see how sharp he looks - does he look like he gets this new system, and how he fits into it? Since he went to Stanford, I guess he will.\n\n# 3.Joe Mixon \n***The person***: Well, his head coach Marvin Lewis says that Mixon is “off the charts talent-wise”\n\n***The place***: CIN is not a great place for a rookie RB since the backfield is a bit volatile. There are other (non-rookie) RBs already there, so Mixon will have to battle it out with, and prove he deserves more touches in a competition with Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard.\n\n***X Factors***: CIN’s O line was not good last year. They do have a nice passing offense which should keep NFL defenses honest though, and not let them key in on the run.\n\n***What to watch for***: How does Mixon perform in comparison to his teammates in the backfield facing the same opponents? \n\n# 4.Dalvin Cook \n***The person***: Cook was touted as one of the more complete backs in the draft.\nHe was a dynamic weapon at Florida, and is proven as a pass catcher out of the back field. He would get a boost in PPR and .5 PPR leagues because of this.\n\n***The place***: MIN had a bad Oline last year, though they did make some moves to improve. MIN did sign Latavius Murray, but right now it looks like it’s Cook’s job to lose as Murray is still recovering from an ankle injury. \n\n***X Factors***: MIN starts the season against NO and PIT, which are favorable for the rookie RB. It is reported that Cook may have a role in the KR game. If this holds true, he would naturally get a boost in leagues that award points in the kicking game.\n\n***What to watch for***: Mainly, we need to see how the MIN Oline looks this year. Also, is Murray ready and steady? If not, Cook could be great just from the volume he will see.\n\nUp next - Rookie Watch Part II",

| body | The only thing that scares me about Bennett is that Rodgers never throws to his TE's. He hasn't put a guy in the top 10 TE's since Finley (Yeah, I know Richard Rodgers had a top 10 year, but lets be honest that was a fluke). I agree that there is a ton of potential there, but it does kind of scare me a bit. Regardless, I do like Bennett, Rudolph, Henry, and Doyle... all those guys are on my radar, they should be available later in drafts and likely will return good numbers as value picks. |

| body | I had Rudolph last year, and was very pleased with him. Especially since I got him for free. This year, I really like Bennett. Top tier offense, one of the best QB's, not a strong running game in GB, not a strong D, and his schedule. This all = golden opportunity. Though his ADP is around 5-8 right now. |

| title | Fantasy Football 2017 Strength of Schedule First Glance for TE's |
| body | Greetings! This is the 4th and last installment of an early look-see at the NFL strength of schedule for fantasy players. We have already considered; RB’s, QB’s and WR’s. Last but not least, let’s consider the TE’s In regards to the TE’s, if you just take into consideration the first few weeks, then really there is nobody that stands out. However, when taking a look at the whole schedule there are a couple players and schedules that do indeed. Before we delve in, please note that we acknowledge that a great deal will change in regards to match-ups and S.O.S. as the season progresses. That being said, here are a couple players to note at this point: Martellus Bennett =============== Much could be said about his new team, what his role will be in Green Bay, and what his target share is likely to be. But for now, we’ll just note that the schedule has him facing 6 opponents that are quite favorable. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 8th most favorable match-ups for TE’s to be specific. In addition, that is with the *1st* and *2nd* most favorable opponents coming in the first 2 weeks of most fantasy playoffs. Tampa Bay TE’s ============= Cameron Brate and O.J. Howard also have an interesting season schedule. The Bucs TE’s have 7 very favorable match-ups. The 7th, 2nd, 6th, 5th most favorable match-ups, in that order, but with games in between. However, during the fantasy playoffs they have; the *3rd*, *5th*, and *2nd* most favorable match-ups, in that order. Of course, Brate and Howard lessen each other’s fantasy value, and much will change between now and the end of the season, but you can just make note that the Buc’s TE’s are something that you may want to take a late round flier on, or at least revisit later in the season. Kyle Rudolph =========== Like the other examples, of course there are many other factors that play into whether Rudolph is going to be as good as he was last year for the fantasy owners who had him. In the first half of the season (as it stands now), he will only have 2 match-ups that stand out as favorable. Namely, a week 4 match-up with the 3rd best for TE’s, and a game week 8 that is the #1 match-up for TE’s. That being said, the second half of the season has potential to be great for Rudolph. He ends with; Week 12 (3rd most favorable) @ DET Week 13 (5th most favorable) @ ATL Week 14 (2nd most favorable) @ CAR Week 15 (4th most favorable) CIN Week 16 (12th most favorable) @ GB True that that is a lot of games away. Yet you could also see that all those games have a good chance of being shoot-outs. It’s early, but the early outlook looks good for Rudolph. Next up; Rookie Watch |

He ends with;\nWeek 12 (3rd most favorable) @ DET\nWeek 13 (5th most favorable) @ ATL\nWeek 14 (2nd most favorable) @ CAR\nWeek 15 (4th most favorable) CIN\nWeek 16 (12th most favorable) @ GB\nTrue that that is a lot of games away. Yet you could also see that all those games have a good chance of being shoot-outs. It’s early, but the early outlook looks good for Rudolph.\n\n\nNext up;\nRookie Watch",

| title | Fantasy Football 2017 Strength of Schedule First Glance for WR's |
| body | Greetings! This is the 3rd installment of the 10th Yard Report! Today we are continuing our early look-see at the NFL strength of schedule for fantasy players. We have already considered RB’s and QB’s. For this installment, we will consider the WR’s In regards to the WR’s, here are the notables; ## Redskin’s WR’s Terrelle Pryor, Jamison Crowder, and Josh Doctson all have proven to be capable and productive WR’s (Doctson was good in collage). Kirk Cousins has also proven he can be a productive QB. Furthermore, they have a lineup of opponents that make them primed to get a great start to the 2017 season PHI (2nd most points to opponents WR’s) @ LAR (7th most points to opponents WR’s) OAK (14th most points to opponents WR’s) @ KC (12th most points to opponents WR’s) BYE SF (5th most points to opponents WR’s) @ PHI (2nd most points to opponents WR’s) So, don’t be surprised if the Redskins passing game looks great for the first half of the 2017 season. ## Colt’s WR’s There is question as to Andrew Luck’s health, and whether he will be ready week #1. If Luck ***is*** ready to go, T.Y. Hilton and Donte Moncrief not only have one of the game’s best QB’s, they also have several juicy match-ups to start the season. @ LAR (7th most points to opponents WR’s) ARI (4th most points to opponents WR’s) CLE (11th most points to opponents WR’s) @ SEA (13th most points to opponents WR’s) SF (5th most points to opponents WR’s) @ TEN (3rd most points to opponents WR’s) If they are healthy, they will be wealthy… with fantasy points to start the 2017 season. ## Doug Baldwin Seattle is not typically a high octane passing attack. They want to run it, and are committed to doing so - if they can. But they do have a legit QB who has established a special connection with his #1 WR. Out of Seattle’s WR’s, Doug Baldwin is that one, and he has proven in the past to be a fantasy relevant player. With this year’s schedule, Baldwin has a great opportunity to get revved up early; @ GB (the ***most*** points to opponents WR’s) SF (5th most points to opponents WR’s) @ TEN (3rd most points to opponents WR’s) IND (22nd most points to opponents WR’s) @ LAR (7th most points to opponents WR’s) Traditionally, the Seahawks are ugly early, surge late. We’ll see if Baldwin and team can take advantage of these early opportunities. ## Pierre Garcon Like their QB situation, the 49ers WR’s are mostly a conglomerate of “Meh”. The 49er D is not likely to shut anybody down, so they are going to have to throw. And so they are going to have to throw somebody… I guess. Right? Pierre Garcon is no Antonio Brown, but he has made some catches in the NFL. This might need to go in your Blake Bortles file - ugly, but somehow puts up fantasy numbers. It's a volume play. Anyway, the schedule probably isn't going go stop him from being productive; CAR (9th most points to opponents WR’s) @ SEA (13th most points to opponents WR’s) LAR (7th most points to opponents WR’s) @ ARI (4th most points to opponents WR’s) Meh Finally, ## Atlanta’s WR’s You already know about Julio Jones. You also probably know about Matt Ryan. The Falcons had the most potent O last year, and should have similar production in 2017 as well. Julio Jones is a given, but with such offensive power, remember Mohamed Sanu and Taylor Gabriel too. They get a nice jump on 2017 with these games lined up; @ CHI (6th most points to opponents WR’s) GB (the ***most*** points to opponents WR’s) @ DET (19th most points to opponents WR’s) Not bad. Next up - we'll conclude the look at the SOS with the TE’s After that, we’ll dive into this year’s rookies to watch out for! |

| body | Yes, many wait to draft their QB. I would have to say for me too... I would not likely be drafting any of the above. Wilson is tempting, but Seattle historically starts slow. I think it is a P. C. strategy - do just enough first half (game/season) - surge 2nd half. We'll see... I'll have more about drafting strategy later. Also... yes I too would like to see FF content do well here on Steemit! |

| body | Glad to see more content in the fantasy football section here. Welcome! I usually wait on a QB since I tend to have a knack for identifying later QB's who break out, so none of these guys will probably be on my teams, but I think strength of schedule has some weight. Sometimes I like taking players that have a nice schedule early and flip them later in a trade for someone who has a nice schedule later. |

Welcome!\n\nI usually wait on a QB since I tend to have a knack for identifying later QB's who break out, so none of these guys will probably be on my teams, but I think strength of schedule has some weight. Sometimes I like taking players that have a nice schedule early and flip them later in a trade for someone who has a nice schedule later.",

| title | Fantasy Football 2017 Strength of Schedule First Glance for QB's |
| body | Greetings! In the first installment, we took an early look-see at the strength of schedule and RB’s. For this installment, let’s take a look at QB’s. As far as QB’s go, there are only a couple of players that stand out when looking at the early schedule. Derek Carr ended his season in week 16 last year, after suffering a broken right leg. It was a tough injury, especially for the sake of the Raiders ruined playoffs hopes. However, Carr is expected to be fine for the start of training camp. Carr finished 2016 by completing 63.7 percent of his passes for 3,937 yards, 28 touchdowns and six interceptions, and he added 70 rushing yards. He was the No. 11 Fantasy quarterback in standard leagues. But remember, his numbers were cut short by his injury. He already has a dynamic receiving corps with Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree, and the Raiders passing offense could even improve with the likes of Marshawn Lynch commanding more defensive attention. With that being said, note how Carr starts the 2017 season; He’ll be staring off going to TEN (3rd worst passing D) Followed by a home game vs. NYJ (6th worst passing D, but they could be historically bad this year) Finally, is a game @ WAS (13th worst passing D) Not bad to get off on the right foot (pun intended) Here is another story with the element of injury. Many people are hopeful that Andrew Luck will be ready for training camp after off-season shoulder surgery. If he is ready to go by week 1, then you may be looking at one of the best Fantasy passers you can draft. In 38 games since 2014, Luck has posted 20-plus fantasy points 76.3 percent of the time. Only Tom Brady comes close in comparison. A week defense and a meager running game keep Luck as a top fantasy prospect for the 2017 season - if his offensive line can better protect him. The Colts already got a bit of Luck in this starting schedule; IND starts off in LA against the Rams (9th worst against QB’s) Followed by a home game vs. ARI (27th worst against QB’s) But, followed by another home game vs. CLE (the worst against QB’s last year) Yet another injury story. Last year was rough for Russell Wilson. Poor line play, no Lynch, and more than one injury hobbled his performance. Yet, Doug Baldwin, Jimmy Graham and Tyler Lockett still make for a quality receiving corps. There is hope the line will be improved this year. This would be a boost to the running game, and Wilson could see his numbers improve as well. He was a top-five quarterback the previous two years prior to 2016, and he could easily get back to that level again. The Seahawks traditionally start seasons slow however. So, how will the Hawks, and Wilson do with this starting schedule; @ GB (10th worst vs. QB’s) SF (12th worst vs. QB’s) @ TEN (3rd worst vs. QB’s) IND (7th worst vs. QB’s) @ LAR (9th worst vs. QB’s) Again, the Seahawks tend to have a conservative offensive. They want - run heavy. And it has traditionally performed much better at the end of seasons. But, if there was ever an opportunity to come out going strong. This seems to be it. |

| body | Welcome to the first - “10th Yard” report! I have won multiple fantasy championships in multiple years. Was my competition sub-par? Perhaps. However, perhaps I have *some* skill (last year I won all 7 leagues I was in), and perhaps I can shed some light on some different things that would help you in your own league. With a lull in the news coming from the NFL these days, (before camps start in earnest later this summer), let’s take a look-see at the Strength of Schedule (SOS), and see if there are any nuggets to be gleaned. Please note, this does not mean that you should draft your fantasy players based solely on their S.O.S. So much changes in an off-season. New faces in new places. Hey, old teams in new places! Yet, we *can* make some reasonable assumptions based on last years performances, and to try to gauge the start of the 2017 fantasy season. So, here are some nuggets. For the sake of brevity, (remember, they are just nuggets, not a whole gold mine), I will post one position group at a time. Let’s start with RBs Among rookie RB's, nobody has a better schedule to start the season than Mccaffrey. Oh wait, ***NO*** RB has a better schedule to start the season than the Carolina Panthers RB's! Mccaffrey is a dynamic weapon. How he will be used, and his time share in the offense remains to be seen, but he has the very best chance to get off to a great start in the NFL with a schedule like this. He’ll be staring off in SF (who were *the* worst against the run last year) Moving on to a home game hosting BUF (3rd worst against the run) Next, another home game hosting NO (4th worst run D in the league last year) Gurley’s rookie season oozed with potential. He burst on the scene with stats that made everyone think he was a dynasty lynch-pin. In only 13 games, 229 carries for 1,106 yards (4.83 yards per carry) 10 touchdowns and 21 catches for 188 yards. But, he followed with a disappointing sophomore performance last year. 885 yards (3.18 yards per carry) on 278 carries and six touchdowns, 43 catches for 327 yards. What will he do in 2017? Like Mccaffrey, he is getting the best of opportunities to get 2017 started on the right foot. He’ll be staring off hosting IND (6th worst against the run) Followed by another home game vs. WAS (5th worst against the run) Next, is SF (the worst run D in the league last year) Another rookie that will have a great opportunity to get off to a hot start is Dalvin Cook. Some touted him as the best/most complete back from this year’s rookie class. In his last year of college he averaged 6.1yds per carry, he had 19 TDs, and 33 Rec’s/488yds. Remember, The Vikings moved up in the draft to select Cook. Also, the Vikings offensive line should be improved this season. He starts off hosting NO (4th worst run D in the league last year) Next, is a road game against PIT (7th worst against the run) Followed by a home contest against TB (9th worst against the run) Howard burst on the scene last year finishing second in the NFL in rushing yards on the year (1,313), and boasting an impressive 5.2 per carry. He also had 29 receptions for 298 yards. All this despite not being the starter at the beginning of last season. The Bears passing game has several questions marks, which could result in Howard again being the primary focus of the offense in 2017. He starts off hosting ATL (10th worst against the run) Next, is a road game against TB (9th worst against the run) Followed by a home contest against PIT (7th worst against the run) Jay Ajayi had one of the more remarkable seasons last year. Despite being on the inactive list in Week 1, he finished the season with 260 carries for 1,272 yards (4.89 yards per carry), eight touchdowns and 27 catches for 151 yards. Ajayi’s success had much to do with the the Dolphins offensive line. When it was intact, he thrived, with two games of at least 200 rushing yards. He added another 200 yard rushing game in Week 16. Miami’s offensive linemen from last season have four starters returning, which should help Ajayi to continue to produce. He starts off hosting TB (9th worst against the run) Next, is a road game against LAC (8th worst against the run) Next, is another road trip vs. NYJ (13th worst against the run, but will the Jets even be competing? Serious doubts) Extra point - In week 4, Ajaji will face NO (4th worst against the run) Next, QB's |
