We arrived on the island of Venice late in the morning, even though we had planned to start much earlier. Maybe the red kois were netted and placed into holding tanks, as that is what I would have done before the cleanup if it was my own pond. I have seen how they net the fish before a tank cleanup in the local pet shops. This is a fairly big pond, and it is always a peaceful time to just watch the water lives of the pond's residents.       "body": "Amidst the refreshing greenery of nature, my eyes accidentally caught sight of a figure standing gracefully on one of the leaves. At first glance, I fell in love with this beautiful creature. I approached it very slowly and cautiously, so as not to frighten it, which would leave me alone. As I walked, I immediately set my camera. As soon as I reached it, I aimed my phone's camera at the tiny dragonfly. I didn't want to waste such a beautiful moment.\nThe dragonfly I found is known as a marsh bluetail, but some also call it a damselfly. It's a tiny, needle-like dragonfly from the Coenagrionidae family. In agricultural environments, especially in rice fields, this dragonfly is quite popular. They are abundant in those areas. They prefer cool, humid areas, as these are the most comfortable places for them to breed and thrive. The one I found was in a small bush near a rice field.\nHowever, it's also worth noting that this dragonfly seems to be quite experienced in photoshoots. When we first met, the dragonfly was perched right on the tip of a leaf. After I snapped a few pictures, it moved to another leaf. It did the same with this second leaf. It moved again to another leaf. Finally, it settled on a flower bud that hadn't yet opened.       "body": "My partner and I got back home, and quite tired. We ran out of food to cook, which means our fridge is empty. We decided to go out to buy food. Initially, we thought of going northwards because there's a bazaar there, and a food strip is also open.\n\nWe ended up going southward. It's peaceful as we walked the park, and go to the roasted chicken store. When we saw Kowloon House where they sell noodles or mami, as well as some Chinese foods, we opted to go there.\n\nGlad that foods aren't too expensive. The soup tastes good as well.       "body": "We drove through the night sing to music, our spirits high as we started our journey. The Moon was big tonight and had a yellow hew to it. As we drove, travelling to our destination, so did the Moon travel from the horizon to up above us.\nWe made good time and we were in Sydney by about 2am. This was both good and bad. It meant the first leg of our trip went quickly, unfortunately the airport terminal we were using to fly to Darwin was closed until 4 am so we had to sit outside on the seats in front of the terminal building. Our flight was not until 8am so we had a bit of a wait. We walked around for a bit and got some food to eat. I had forgot how much the food costs at the airport, it is so expensive. But then eating out is expensive I guess.\nAt 8am we boarded and were on our way to Darwin. Like most flights I have been on, the flight felt like forever, even though it was only a 4 hour flight. The on board movie was “Crazy Rich Asians”. It is a movie that I had previously seen which was good as I had forgotten to get the complementary head phones from the stockpile at the gate.\nI still enjoyed the movie even though it had no sound and it helped pass some of the time.\nWe got to Darwin and picked up the hire car. Then we drove to our families place to stay.\nWe caught up with family and in the evening one of my daughters and I went for a walk as I was feeling a bit low on energy after a nap and needed to take a walk to pick my energy back up again.\n\nHere are some photos from our walk.       "body": "In Cairo I decided to get up early in the morning to visit the well-known citadel which is located more outside the center and to get there, a trip to the east of the city must be made. The citadel was already built hundreds of years ago during 12th century and the goal was to build a stable fortress that would withstand attacks by the crusaders and because of the location on the Muqattam mountain it was perfect to have the whole environment in one view. It was inhabited over the centuries by different rulers of the country and it came again and again to the fact that things have been rebuilt to adapt the protection more and it was already considered as the most powerful military institution in the country which was to guarantee the protection of the government.
