For instance in academic, the students need information for the purpose of planning, organizing and controlling of his daily academic activities. \n\n\n\n\nIf a student is not not informed properly, he/ she may not be able to perform well in his or her academic career. Information drive the economy, government, public through printed materials like newspapers, magazines, journal, textbooks, and many others. \n\n\n\nOrally like radio, television, public address system, daily face to face conversation, and many others. Proper information aid good and timely decision making.\n\n\n<center><div class=\"phishy\">What do you understand by being “informed” “uninformed “partially informed”, misinformed?</div></center>|\n|-\n\n\n\n- **Informed:**- to be *informed* simply means to be aware of. It is the situation of knowing what is going to happen or take place or occur. It can be a succession of activities or actions expected to happen in the nearby future.\n\n- **Uninformed**:- this is the condition of not being aware of an event that is likely to occur in the nearby future. This is information can be misleading the person without knowing that it is fake or untrue.\n\n<center><div class=\"phishy\">Which of the category above was your experience?Share your story with us</div></center>|\n|-\n\n**_I was uninformed that there is a class test._**\n\nWhen I was back from school one day, in school we have online platform to receive information concerning our academic activities. During the power outage in Uyo metropolis, I found it difficult to charge my phone. As usual I called my friend in the morning when I woke up on Wednesday to enquire if there is lecture. \n\n\nMy friend told me that there is a seminar for all the lecturer that all activities in the faculty that day is cancelled. To my greatest surprised at evening I heard that there was a class test, and I missed the test because my phone went of when the information was passed online.\n\n<center><div class=\"phishy\">How did you handle it and what were the lessons learnt.? </div></center>|\n|-\n\n\n\nAfter the test, I tried to write and explain to my lecturer through my class representative that my device was down when the information was disseminated if he will agree to give me a make up test. Briefly, it can be a chance to get or acquire a valuable thing in life like assets, time, admission, scholarship award, appointment in an office, visa to travel out of the country, and many others. As the say goes “opportunity comes but once”. \n\n\n\nTo me, opportunity comes every day and every time in life, but when you are able to utilize and maximize the opportunity mark it once. For example, a secondary school leaver that wants to study in the higher institution has an opportunity to register for admission this year or may decide to wait till next year he or she register. \n\n\n\nThat is why I said “opportunity comes every time” not once. To become an ambassador, one has to study to acquire skills and knowledgeable characteristics that would qualify and help him or her to defend his or her county well in the international level or foreign land. \n\n\n\n\nI completed both my primary and secondary education in the year 2012. I studied national diploma in public relations and awarded a certificate in the year 2015. Currently, I am an undergraduate student studying history and international studies in the University of Uyo, Nigeria. We just have to keep a lookout for these opportunities because if it passes you, it may never come back again. \n\n<center><div class=\"phishy\">Introduction:</div></center>|\n|---|\n\n\n\n\nThe word “**opportunity**” can portray many forms of understanding to different sets of individuals. Briefly, it can be a chance to get or acquire a valuable thing in life like assets, time, admission, scholarship award, appointment in an office, visa to travel out of the country, and many others. As the say goes “opportunity comes but once”. \n\n\n\nTo me, opportunity comes every day and every time in life, but when you are able to utilize and maximize the opportunity mark it once. For example, a secondary school leaver that wants to study in the higher institution has an opportunity to register for admission this year or may decide to wait till next year he or she register. \n\n\n\nThat is why I said “opportunity comes every time” not once. In this write up, I will state the big opportunity of my life, the influence and my work towards it.\n\n\n\n<center><div class=\"phishy\">What would be the great opportunity of your life?</div></center>|\n|--|\n\n\n\nI have several views of great opportunities in my mind, but the one I would cherish much is my becoming an ambassador. It would be a great opportunity to me to represent my country Nigeria in another country, foreign countries or international business organizations.
