body<em>To be active</em> is one of the terminologies which have been frequently echoed at the present day in the educational world. However, the paradigm which flourishes among our society today in Asian coutries is that the students have been as if the firstly executor that should be very active. This perception also occurs in Indonesia either in the urban cities or regional area, including in Aceh. Which then bring many opinions stating that “teaching is very easy and enjoyable if the students are very active” or “the teachers placed in favourite schools are very lucky since most of the students there are very active and smart”, “we are as teachers are very difficult to teach this subject because most of the students are not active” and any else opinions. A simple definition of active learning was delivered by Bonwell and Eison (1991) as “anything that involves students in doing things and thinking about the things they are doing” (p.2). So, the characteristics of active learning are involving students with more activities rather than listening, developing student’s skills by giving less emphasis on transferring information, engaging student in activities like reading, discussing in a small group discussion (Bonwell and Eison, 1991, pp.2). Eventhough the active learning pedagogy is an imported teaching-learning method from western countries to Indonesia and have several challenges in order to implement it, such as inadequate of infrastructure and facilities, still the teacher has a prominent role to be an executor to conduct an active learning and to encourage the students to be very active. In nature, all students are still learning, need encoragement to be confident, and absolutely the guidance from the teacher to conduct their active learning action. Based on the casual group discussion with the students in two senior high shools in Langsa, most of students feel excited for the teachers who are more active and this makes them more interested on the subject taught by those teachers. Well, this is only my self-reflection as the teacher and I’m lookng forward hearing your comments. Hopefully, as the educators, we can make a better change to education of Indonesia, esp. Aceh. Namun, paradigma yang muncul dan mengakar pada masyarakat kita saat ini bahkan untuk seluruh negara Asia adalah siswa/murid seakan-akan yang selalu dituntut untuk menjadi pelakasana utama untuk keaktifan dan senantiasa menjadi lebih aktif. Persepsi ini juga didapatkan di negara kita Indonesia baik itu di kota besar atau di kota kecil, termasuk Aceh. Atau guru?</b> Baiklah, untuk menjawab pertanyaan ini, menurut saya, sangatlah penting bagi penulis untuk terlebih dahulu mendefinisikan pengertian dari <b>Apa itu Pembelajaran Aktif? </b> Menurut Bonwell dan Eison (1991) ciri-ciri dari pembelajaran aktif adalah penglibatan siswa untuk lebih banyak berinteraksi dengan berbagai kegiatan yang tidak hanya mendengar, sehingga siswa lebih banyak memperoleh kesempatan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan mereka melalui kegiatan-kegiatan seperti membaca, diskusi, dan role-play. Meskipun pembelajaran aktif merupakan metode pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang diimpor dari negara-negara Barat ke Indonesia dan memiliki beberapa tantangan dalam proses pelaksanaanya secara holistik, seperti tidak mendukungnya sarana dan fasilititas sebagai alat media pembelajaran , namun guru masih memegang peranan utama untuk menjadi pelaksana kegiatan pembelajaran yang aktif untuk mendorong para murid menjadi lebih aktif. Secara harfiah, semua siswa masihlah dalam proses pembelajaran serta membutuhkan dukungan untuk membuat mereka percaya diri, dan tentunya bimbingan dari para guru untuk membuat para siswa menjadi lebih aktif. Berdasarkan grup diskusi dengan para siswa di dua sekolah menengah atas kota Langsa, umumnya para siswa merasa sangat senang dengan para guru yang lebih aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran melalui berbagai aktifitas dan hal ini membuat mereka menjadi lebih tertarik dengan mata pelajaran yang diajarkan. body<em>To be active</em> is one of the terminologies which have been frequently echoed at the present day in the educational world. However, the paradigm which flourishes among our society today in Asian coutries is that the students have been as if the firstly executor that should be very active. This perception also occurs in Indonesia either in the urban cities or regional area, including in Aceh. Which then bring many opinions stating that “teaching is very easy and enjoyable if the students are very active” or “the teachers placed in favourite schools are very lucky since most of the students there are very active and smart”, “we are as teachers are very difficult to teach this subject because most of the students are not active” and any else opinions. A simple definition of active learning was delivered by Bonwell and Eison (1991) as “anything that involves students in doing things and thinking about the things they are doing” (p.2). So, the characteristics of active learning are involving students with more activities rather than listening, developing student’s skills by giving less emphasis on transferring information, engaging student in activities like reading, discussing in a small group discussion (Bonwell and Eison, 1991, pp.2). Eventhough the active learning pedagogy is an imported teaching-learning method from western countries to Indonesia and have several challenges in order to implement it, such as inadequate of infrastructure and facilities, still the teacher has a prominent role to be an executor to conduct an active learning and to encourage the students to be very active. In nature, all students are still learning, need encoragement to be confident, and absolutely the guidance from the teacher to conduct their active learning action. Based on the casual group discussion with the students in two senior high shools in Langsa, most of students feel excited for the teachers who are more active and this makes them more interested on the subject taught by those teachers. Well, this is only my self-reflection as the teacher and I’m lookng forward hearing your comments. Hopefully, as the educators, we can make a better change to education of Indonesia, esp. Aceh. Namun, paradigma yang muncul dan mengakar pada masyarakat kita saat ini bahkan untuk seluruh negara Asia adalah siswa/murid seakan-akan yang selalu dituntut untuk menjadi pelakasana utama untuk keaktifan dan senantiasa menjadi lebih aktif. Persepsi ini juga didapatkan di negara kita Indonesia baik itu di kota besar atau di kota kecil, termasuk Aceh. Atau guru?</b> Baiklah, untuk menjawab pertanyaan ini, menurut saya, sangatlah penting bagi penulis untuk terlebih dahulu mendefinisikan pengertian dari <b>Apa itu Pembelajaran Aktif? </b> Menurut Bonwell dan Eison (1991) ciri-ciri dari pembelajaran aktif adalah penglibatan siswa untuk lebih banyak berinteraksi dengan berbagai kegiatan yang tidak hanya mendengar, sehingga siswa lebih banyak memperoleh kesempatan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan mereka melalui kegiatan-kegiatan seperti membaca, diskusi, dan role-play. Meskipun pembelajaran aktif merupakan metode pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang diimpor dari negara-negara Barat ke Indonesia dan memiliki beberapa tantangan dalam proses pelaksanaanya secara holistik, seperti tidak mendukungnya sarana dan fasilititas sebagai alat media pembelajaran , namun guru masih memegang peranan utama untuk menjadi pelaksana kegiatan pembelajaran yang aktif untuk mendorong para murid menjadi lebih aktif. Secara harfiah, semua siswa masihlah dalam proses pembelajaran serta membutuhkan dukungan untuk membuat mereka percaya diri, dan tentunya bimbingan dari para guru untuk membuat para siswa menjadi lebih aktif. Berdasarkan grup diskusi dengan para siswa di dua sekolah menengah atas kota Langsa, umumnya para siswa merasa sangat senang dengan para guru yang lebih aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran melalui berbagai aktifitas dan hal ini membuat mereka menjadi lebih tertarik dengan mata pelajaran yang diajarkan. Akhir kata, ini adalah sebuah refleksi pribadi saya sebagai tenaga pendidik dan saya tunggu komentar dan upvote anda di blog ini. So, the characteristics of active learning are involving students with more activities rather than listening, developing student’s skills by giving less emphasis on transferring information, engaging student in activities like reading, discussing in a small group discussion (Bonwell and Eison, 1991, pp.2). \n\nEventhough the active learning pedagogy is an imported teaching-learning method from western countries to  Indonesia and have several challenges in order to implement it, such as inadequate of infrastructure and facilities,  still the teacher has a prominent role to be an executor to conduct an active learning and to encourage the students to be very active. In nature, all students are still learning, need encoragement to be confident, and absolutely the guidance from the teacher to conduct their active learning action. Based on the casual group discussion with the students in two senior high shools in Langsa, most of students feel excited for the teachers who are more active and this makes them more interested on the subject taught by those teachers.\n\nWell, this is only my self-reflection as the teacher and I’m lookng forward hearing your comments. Hopefully, as the educators, we can make a better change to education of Indonesia, esp. Aceh. \nCheers...\n\n***\n<b>Bagian 1: Siapakah yang harus terlebih dulu Aktif? Namun, paradigma yang muncul dan mengakar pada masyarakat kita saat ini bahkan untuk seluruh negara Asia adalah  siswa/murid seakan-akan yang selalu dituntut untuk menjadi pelakasana utama untuk keaktifan dan senantiasa menjadi lebih aktif. Persepsi ini juga didapatkan di negara kita Indonesia baik itu di kota besar atau di kota kecil, termasuk Aceh. Ada beberapa opini pribadi yang muncul dikalangan guru misalnya “mengajar akan menjadi sangat mudah dan menyenangkan jika para siswanya aktif-aktif” atau “ guru yang ditempatkan di sekolah favorit sangatlah beruntung karena umumnya siswa disekolah tersebut adalah aktif dan pintar-pintar”, “kami sebagai guru merasa sangat sulit untuk mengajar pelajaran ini karena umumnya siswa di kelas tidak aktif”, dan masih banyak opini lainnya mengenai keaktifan siswa. Atau guru?</b>\n\nBaiklah, untuk menjawab pertanyaan ini, menurut saya, sangatlah penting bagi penulis untuk terlebih dahulu mendefinisikan pengertian dari <b>Apa itu Pembelajaran Aktif? </b> Menurut Bonwell dan Eison (1991) ciri-ciri dari pembelajaran aktif adalah penglibatan siswa untuk lebih banyak berinteraksi dengan berbagai kegiatan yang tidak hanya mendengar, sehingga siswa lebih banyak memperoleh kesempatan untuk mengembangkan kemampuan mereka melalui kegiatan-kegiatan seperti membaca, diskusi, dan role-play.\n\nMeskipun pembelajaran aktif merupakan metode pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang diimpor dari negara-negara Barat ke Indonesia dan memiliki beberapa tantangan dalam proses pelaksanaanya secara holistik, seperti tidak mendukungnya sarana dan fasilititas sebagai alat media pembelajaran , namun guru masih memegang peranan utama untuk menjadi pelaksana kegiatan pembelajaran yang aktif untuk mendorong para murid menjadi lebih aktif. Secara harfiah, semua siswa masihlah dalam proses pembelajaran serta membutuhkan dukungan untuk membuat mereka percaya diri, dan tentunya bimbingan dari para guru untuk membuat para siswa menjadi lebih aktif. Berdasarkan grup diskusi dengan para siswa di dua sekolah menengah atas kota Langsa, umumnya para siswa merasa sangat senang dengan para guru yang lebih aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran melalui berbagai aktifitas dan hal ini membuat mereka menjadi lebih tertarik dengan mata pelajaran yang diajarkan.\n\nAkhir kata, ini adalah sebuah refleksi pribadi saya sebagai tenaga pendidik dan saya tunggu komentar dan upvote anda di blog ini. However, this time, quick and easy to be prepared and certainly tasty. *** ![1.JPG](https://steemitimages.com/DQmV4JYBdegaDr4iFRxCBoXEeRgY1e1EMQ8GchypY3uRKCg/1.JPG) *** <b>INGREDIENTS:</b> - several prawns, - tomato sauce - chili sauce (if you are a spicy lover) - carrot, cut in small cubes - 3 eggs, whisked - leak/celedry, onion, garlic, chopped - salt and pepper - 2 spoons of butter <b>How to Make:</b> - First, whisk the egg in the bowl. - Second, add the chopped leak/celedry, onion, and garlic, also prawns. - To taste, add pepper and salt into the bowl of eggs. - Further, heat the butter into the pan and then pour the bowl of egg like you make an omelette.
