bodyhere's an idea I've been playing around with lately, to solve a problem we're always told to think outside the box, and that basically means coming up with something unusual, out of tradition, and I've been wondering how to actually do that without calling it a hunch or luck. ![hd-wallpaper-5665770_1920.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVv6djuKxizcLXaUbng9FWcghW31CBqDAyS1J1VxAKs1R/hd-wallpaper-5665770_1920.jpg) well to think outside the box we first have to understand what the box is, and the box in most situations is a system, think about it, we humans are obsessed with organizing and making up rules and prohibition, that's what we call a system, and all we have to do to think outside the box is to understand those rules and prohibitions, get familiar with the organizing system ...and then find the weak spot, a gap in the system, something unexplored, heck maybe even a design flaw, then come up with a way to use that to your advantage, three simple steps to solve problems creatively. at the end of the day thinking outside the box is just systematical thinking, which is something that's almost instictual to do.

bodyrecently I've been learning a few things about the law, and I was surprised by how unjust and immoral it is, most of us think of the law as something that must be held in high regard, and if someone breaks it we treat them like a plague simply because they are "criminals", but is that really right for us to think and do? after all the law is a man-made construct designed to organize society, right and wrong is only its second concern, the first is to make sure everything goes smoothly and nothing goes by the government, which is a whole other problem, it's true that most countries are democratic now but that doesn't mean the government isn't in control, take taxes for example, if the people were really in charge no one would pay them. I believe right and wrong should be the main concern of the law because the original goal of the law is to provide a tool to protect morality. morality s sacred, it's like an instinct, you intuitively know what's humanly right and what's not. superheroes fly around saving people and punching bad guys, it's true that's illegal but we still love them because it's the right thing to do. ![riot-6129239_1920.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVsfLjCXHf9mDXnXSE8VhYC5CvdD7JRZpGL7umcjWfzrB/riot-6129239_1920.jpg) which makes me wonder, is it immoral to break the law? how about the opposite, is it lawful to break morality? well, the second question is easy to answer, we have visual proof that you can be the worst person ever and get away with it, heck with good enough lawyers you could be found innocent of even murder, which says a lot about how the law works. the first question is hard to answer because opinions vary from one person to another, me personally? I think it's not immoral to break the law, I actually think that in some cases breaking the law is the MORAL thing to do, for example, the law forces you to report crimes, and if you don't you're considered an accomplice, but what if the person who did the crime was a good person that you love, a friend or family or a romantic interest, and what if the crime was victimless, is it truly moral to be disloyal to that person just because someone made it a rule that you should report crimes? how about a more controversial case, if a rapist is about to get away due to a technicality, is it moral to just let him? how about taxes, is it moral for governments to take away people's money just because they couldn't come up with an economic system where they don't have to do that? the law is a man-made construct, it's necessary but it's still faulty, just like humans are, it's needed to keep order, but while it's necessary for the majority to follow it it's also necessary for the minority to break it to introduce a little bit of chaos because evolution can only exist with both chaos and order, people who are powerful enough have a moral duty and responsibility to choose morality over the law to pull some strings for the rapists to not get away with their crimes and for the people to have better lives because at the end of the day the law changes and develops but morality doesn't change and doesn't get swayed by the selfish desires of the greedy and evil.

body![water-3350331_1920.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmVTQpZjL3ps1prp351jtg786WhtnjqdGtmSbD2TfS43vq/water-3350331_1920.jpg) We all have dreams, desires, and goals and it’s great to daydream about what it would be like holding that title belt high in the air feeling the energy of the crowd cheering you on. Back to reality now and here’s a question for you. How much time do you put into a day to make that dream come true? The time you spend training or doing something productive to get closer to your goal or dream, is compared to sitting on your couch watching TV. Don’t get me wrong daydreaming can be productive if you know how to creatively visualize. Realize that your habits will determine your future. Successful people have successful habits, unsuccessful people don’t. To get your dream to materialize you need a plan to structure your time into productive slots. All successful people have a plan, follow it, and gauge their progress by it. Work towards making the majority of your time being productive towards your goal, i.e. training and conditioning, read and view material that is going to help you become a better fighter such as viewing videos of your fights and your opponents to see what you need to work on. IT’S ALL ABOUT WHERE YOU PUT YOUR FOCUS Ninety percent of your focus and energy should be directed at your fight plan and career if you want to succeed in the MMA world or in any goal in life. Instead of coming home from a long day at work kicking back with a beer and watching the game, put on an instructional dvd to help you learn new techniques or improve on your speed or power. Go to the gym to lift weights, do cardio, do strength training or work on techniques with your sparring partner. During work or on your way home visualize yourself in a match performing a technique you have recently learned, so it becomes ingrained in your subconscious and is in your arsenal. Build on your strengths, not on your weakness. There are three kinds of people, people that make things happen, people that watch things happen, and people who say what just happened. Which one are you? So if you keep asking yourself why your fight career isn’t happening take an honest inventory of yourself because it’s about where we put the focus in our life that determines where we are going. If you keep on doing what you are always done you’ll keep getting what you always got. Making your dreams become reality is not about luck, or “if it’s meant to be it will happen”. It’s not hocus-pocus; it’s all about where you put your focus.

Are you getting so stressed out that it seems like youre not accomplishing anything? If so, you can use martial arts to combat that stress! Many of the skills and techniques used in martial arts training are the same skills and techniques you can use to rid your body of stress. So, you might be wondering how a skill that is commonly depicted as a fighting tool can actually reduce stress Some of these common images of martial arts arent completely accurate. The cartoons, video games and movies showing martial arts as a fighting tool are only showing you one small facet of the art. The skills necessary for training martial arts can teach you how to balance your mind and body and give you the confidence you need to face the stressful events in your life. HOW DO YOU DO IT? One of the techniques used to create this balance is using breathing and meditation techniques to help you connect and control your mind and body. There are different types of meditation: sitting, standing, kneeling and moving. Find the position that works best for you. Heres how to start. 1. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. 2. Breathe deeply. To make sure youre breathing deeply enough, put your hand on your stomach. If your stomach isnt pushing out as you breath in, youre not breathing deeply enough. Try to pull the air all the way to your navel before you let it out. 3. When you breathe out, keep your tongue on the roof of your mouth. This keeps helps minimize your saliva and swallowing. In the Chinese way of thinking, breathing like this is completing a path: The mouth is a gate and the tongue on the roof of the mouth allows your vital energy called Qi or Chi (both pronounced chee) to circulate throughout your body. Chi is what helps your mind and body connect. After youve gotten the physical aspects of breathing down, you can start counting your breaths this is a form of meditation that many experts teach during stress management courses. Start short and work your way up. 1. Begin with a count of 4 as you breathe in and a count of 6 as you breathe out. 2. As you go along, extend the in and out until you can get a count of 6 as you breathe in and up to 24-30 as you breathe out. Just remember that you want a short, deep breath in and a slow, long breath out. WHY DOES IT WORK? This mind and body connection through breathing works because stress is a mental state that manifests itself as a physical symptom in your body. This physical symptom then acts as a trigger to tell you to do something about it. As you become more aware of your body, youll be able to notice the trigger before it becomes something unbearable such as a severe neck problem or a migraine headache. Once you notice your trigger, you can stop and do something about it such as practicing a breathing technique. For example, I used to get stress-induced migraines that would leave me out of commission for a whole day. Now, Ive come to realize that it actually starts in my lower back as a small thing. If I let it go, it works its way up to my head. Now, when I noticed this trigger in my back, I stop and do my breathing. It allows the issue to surface so I can deal with it and I dont have to deal with a migraine.

Did it involve a doctor, a priest, or a lawyer? Was it on a TV show, part of a stand-up comedy routine, or part of a recent lecture? In any event, do you remember how it made you feel? More likely than not you can remember the last time, and if you took a minute you could probably tell me the jokes, and it probably made your day. It either gave you relief from the stress of taking yourself or what you were doing so seriously, or it took your mind off of something that was causing you grief, or it just livened up an otherwise boring talk. Probably most importantly though, it allowed you to laugh which as we all know is “the world’s best medicine.” But have you ever thought more about why this was so? Is there actually something about jokes and the resulting laughter that can change our health in a beneficial way? What is it about laughter that we love so much? Why are comedies so popular? Why is there such a thing as comic relief and why is it so effective–even in the most serious of plays or dramas? Well, you shouldn’t be surprised to find out that scientists have been studying it but you may be surprised to find out that there is actually something about laughter that affects us more profoundly than we think. Basically, there is good evidence now that laughter produced by jokes can change the chemical milieu that courses through our body on a second to the second basis, and to a profound degree. Laughter releases natural endorphins that act on the same receptors as morphine, producing feelings of relaxation and heightened mood. Levels of Dopamine, serotonin, and Norepinephrine are altered as well which produces an endogenous anti-depressant effect. Researchers then wondered about what action, in particular, was producing these changes–was it smiling, or the physical changes that take place in the rate of breathing, blood pressure, increased heart rate, etc. They found (as usual) that it most likely was a combination of physical changes in the body that occur with laughter. Each one of these changes by itself produced small effects but together were synergistic in producing these stress-relieving, and mood improving results. It was interesting to note that spontaneous laughter was better than self-produced laughs but not by as large a difference as you might think. Also merely smiling produced significant changes in the blood chemistry. So basically tell someone jokes, smile more, and laugh even if you have to fake it–it does the body good!

body![hot-air-balloon-736879_1280.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmaZYUEk3kN4SF5614Luo6iAHKBQ7L1LJC7gHRH4Qa4isJ/hot-air-balloon-736879_1280.jpg) Forget Conventional Dream Interpretation: Learn to Cultivate Your Dreams Today! One of my favourite quotes of all time and I am sure many of you share my thoughts, is the speech by Martin Luther King at the civil rights march in Washington, 1963, which went like this: “I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together at the table of brotherhood…” “I have a dream…” Indeed. Inspiring stuff. I want to discuss our dreams in a very practical way today. I want to talk about how to cultivate your dreaming. It really is a tremendously valuable thing to do. I want to steer away from conventional dream interpretation and will explain why. As of today, pay attention to your dreaming and your daydreaming. Dreams are important to us in many ways, because they do the following: Firstly, when you dream you actively process information and feelings. Secondly, dreams are always involving many senses, so the highly sensory experience is very rich. It is quite rare for us to use all our senses at once as we do when we dream. Thirdly, dreams give us valuable information about what is going on in our lives, whether directly or more often in a disguised or symbolic form. Fourthly, dreams are strongly sequenced, though often in a way which is emotionally rather than logically organised. Finally, dreams draw upon a rich range of unconscious, associative, creative links between many kinds of information. Some people remember their dreams; others tend to forget all but the most dramatic bits as soon as they wake. When you dream or daydream, take time to replay as much of it as you can in your mind before the events of the day overlay it. Relive the story of that dream. Remind yourself of the events, pictures, sensations and other sensory information it involved. This dream was the product of your mind. Marvel at your own creativity! This is amazing stuff here; get excited by it. If you get into the habit of asking yourself when you wake, what did I dream? you may at first only remember a few particularly strong feelings or vivid images: write them down and review it regularly. I actually used to write a dream journal and wrote everything down as soon as I opened my eyes each morning. It provided me with such inspiration when I required it. Naturally, lots of you may want to start with dream interpretation straight away. Resist the urge for dream interpretation, ok? Do your best not to assume that there is necessarily a single clear meaning which can be interpreted according to psychological theories or books on dream significance or dream interpretation. How can your dreams have the same meaning as someone else? Is your brain the same as that persons? For now, ease off the dream interpretation. I have found that the most useful assumption to make about dreams is that they have some kind of significance for you, the dreamer: they come from your internal, unconscious minds storehouse of feelings, experiences and images, and are an active and useful way of processing that is quite different from and just as useful as the processing that belongs to the logical conscious part of your mind. Often a strong feeling will be your first clue to the meaning a dream has for you: so note it, and wonder about it, but dont try to rush to tie it down by conscious analysis. The real work of the dream is often done simply in the dreaming of it: the conscious mind does not always have to understand, and when it tries to translate dreams into its own terms it may be limiting it, just as poetry translated from another language usually loses something of its more subtle tapestry of meanings. Think about the value of dreams. Dreams demonstrate a different level of mental functioning from conscious, disciplined thought. When you pay attention to them, and even cultivate them, you are learning to become familiar with, to trust and to draw upon a fuller range of your own mental resources: in other words, you are using more of what youve got. Hey, this stuff is going to keep happening, so why not really use it. The mind works both consciously and unconsciously. Conscious thought is formally taught in our education system. Its strength is its systematic and disciplined way of handling information. Its limitation is that it tends to be rule-bound and too narrow in its problem-solving approach. The brain also processes information at an unconscious level: mostly, this is associative and depends on links, similarities and feelings. This processing produces dreams, as well as much of our other creative or expressive experience. That is why we are often surprised by the spontaneous connections we make or insights we have, and by our imaginative inspiration: it is not what we would have come up with consciously at all, yet it seems somehow completely right. This way of thinking works laterally it expands, goes sideways and finds multiple avenues rather than just one. We need both kinds of functioning if we are to make the most of our brain power. Logic and intuition, discipline and divergence, are all vital tools that enrich and enable us. But whereas we are used to working with the conscious mind, in part because we are aware of it and can monitor it as it works, many people are less at ease trusting and using the unconscious processes. Paying attention to your dreams, and deliberately cultivating daydreaming, are both ways of stretching yourself into this area. So let us have a look at the value of deliberate daydreaming. Where dreams come unbidden, you may find it useful to deliberately evoke the conditions for daydreaming, if, like many people, you have not really valued the activity before now. How is it valuable? Daydreaming brings us escape and relaxation; visions of the future that inspire and help us to bring about what we have dreamed of; solutions to apparently unsolvable problems; inventions and creative possibilities. Daydream states allow the unconscious, associative parts of the mind to work in their own playful and imaginative ways, bringing not only pleasure but results that our usual deliberate, attentive, rational thought does not. We need space in our lives for both ways of processing if we are to realise ourselves as fully as possible. The key to daydreaming is to be in that right state. If you want to practice, please visit my website and download the free hypnosis session there, or learn self-hypnosis, read my book “The Secrets of Self-Hypnosis” or invest in the self-hypnosis masterclass audio programme, there is nothing else as good in the world today, really there isnt. There is a kind of automatic abstractedness that goes along with daydreaming. Mostly it just seems to happen but when you know about creating and changing states, you can choose to make it happen. Here are some ways you can cultivate and work with your daydreams: Firstly, notice when you have been daydreaming. Is there any pattern of circumstances that helps bring about your particular daydreaming state? Some people find that repetitive, relatively automatic, activities such as jogging, ironing or walking create the right state. Perhaps it is a warm bath, swimming a few lengths, or sitting in the garden. Or it may be swaying to the movement of a train, staring into space, looking out of the window of a bus on the way to work, or going on a long drive. Once you find what helps you daydream, use it and make space for it in your life on a regular basis, imagine that you are in that experience, recreate those circumstances inside of your mind. Let daydreaming come to you, and notice what kinds of windows it opens from our ordinary world into what other kinds of possibilities. Some of your best ideas and inspirations may come at these times. Secondly, next time you have a decision to make, or a problem to solve, or a challenge to overcome, you can set up the circumstances so that you can trigger your daydreaming state and allow yourself to explore your problem or decision in this way. When you have done so, make some notes of what you experienced and discovered. Add that to your conscious thinking on the subject: you now have much more information and the advantage of having engaged more of your mental resources. Thirdly, for today, forget dream interpretation. That is a conscious and limiting thing to do. Did I make myself clear? Forget conventional dream interpretation. For now use your dreams in personal ways to you.

Inspiring stuff. I want to discuss our dreams in a very practical way today.\n\nI want to talk about how to cultivate your dreaming. It really is a tremendously valuable thing to do. I want to steer away from conventional dream interpretation and will explain why.\n\nAs of today, pay attention to your dreaming and your daydreaming. Dreams are important to us in many ways, because they do the following:\n\nFirstly, when you dream you actively process information and feelings.\n\nSecondly, dreams are always involving many senses, so the highly sensory experience is very rich. It is quite rare for us to use all our senses at once as we do when we dream.\n\nThirdly, dreams give us valuable information about what is going on in our lives, whether directly or more often in a disguised or symbolic form.\n\nFourthly, dreams are strongly sequenced, though often in a way which is emotionally rather than logically organised.\n\nFinally, dreams draw upon a rich range of unconscious, associative, creative links between many kinds of information.\n\nSome people remember their dreams; others tend to forget all but the most dramatic bits as soon as they wake. When you dream or daydream, take time to replay as much of it as you can in your mind before the events of the day overlay it. Relive the story of that dream. Remind yourself of the events, pictures, sensations and other sensory information it involved.\n\nThis dream was the product of your mind. Marvel at your own creativity! This is amazing stuff here; get excited by it.\n\nIf you get into the habit of asking yourself when you wake, what did I dream? you may at first only remember a few particularly strong feelings or vivid images: write them down and review it regularly. I actually used to write a dream journal and wrote everything down as soon as I opened my eyes each morning. It provided me with such inspiration when I required it.\n\nNaturally, lots of you may want to start with dream interpretation straight away. Resist the urge for dream interpretation, ok?\n\nDo your best not to assume that there is necessarily a single clear meaning which can be interpreted according to psychological theories or books on dream significance or dream interpretation. How can your dreams have the same meaning as someone else? Is your brain the same as that persons? For now, ease off the dream interpretation.\n\nI have found that the most useful assumption to make about dreams is that they have some kind of significance for you, the dreamer: they come from your internal, unconscious minds storehouse of feelings, experiences and images, and are an active and useful way of processing that is quite different from and just as useful as the processing that belongs to the logical conscious part of your mind.\n\nOften a strong feeling will be your first clue to the meaning a dream has for you: so note it, and wonder about it, but dont try to rush to tie it down by conscious analysis. The real work of the dream is often done simply in the dreaming of it: the conscious mind does not always have to understand, and when it tries to translate dreams into its own terms it may be limiting it, just as poetry translated from another language usually loses something of its more subtle tapestry of meanings.\n\nThink about the value of dreams.\n\nDreams demonstrate a different level of mental functioning from conscious, disciplined thought. When you pay attention to them, and even cultivate them, you are learning to become familiar with, to trust and to draw upon a fuller range of your own mental resources: in other words, you are using more of what youve got. Hey, this stuff is going to keep happening, so why not really use it.\n\nThe mind works both consciously and unconsciously. Conscious thought is formally taught in our education system. Its strength is its systematic and disciplined way of handling information. Its limitation is that it tends to be rule-bound and too narrow in its problem-solving approach.\n\nThe brain also processes information at an unconscious level: mostly, this is associative and depends on links, similarities and feelings. This processing produces dreams, as well as much of our other creative or expressive experience. That is why we are often surprised by the spontaneous connections we make or insights we have, and by our imaginative inspiration: it is not what we would have come up with consciously at all, yet it seems somehow completely right. One of the most systematic ways to do this, is with a list of words, primarily adjectives, to create “what if?” scenarios. The process starts with the question, “what if it was…” and then you insert a word from the list. “It” in the question is the problem you’re working on, or the current solution or situation. Let’s explain the process with an example or two. Example one: You have is an unpleasant co-worker. You aren’t sure how to deal with him, so you ask about the problem, “What if it was…” and insert from the list “smaller.” How could you make the problem smaller? Spend less time with that person? Get reassigned? “What if it was… fun?” makes you wonder if being annoying yourself might keep the other person away from you. “Closer” makes you wonder if this person might be nicer to you if they knew you better. You continue down the list and work with each word a bit to get new ideas, which you will look at more analytically later. Example two: Your house is too crowded because you’re running your business from it. You ask, “What if it was…” and insert from the word list, “smaller.” Your house is already too small, but could the business be smaller? The word “divided” might give you the idea to keep the business in just one part of the house. Since most words on the list won’t help, you can go through the irrelevant ones quickly. But don’t automatically dismiss them without a few seconds consideration. “What if it was hopeless?” may seem like a useless question, or it may make you realize that you just can’t keep the business in the house any longer. Moving into a rented office might be the most profitable of your creative solutions. The Creative Solutions Word List Feel free to create your own list of words. You’ll want to use adjectives, descriptive phrases, and any words that can change your perspective. Here is a shortlist to get you started: What if it was… larger, smaller, farther away, closer, sooner, later, easier, more difficult, higher, fat, rich, short, black, certain, hopeless, newer, boring, casual, subtracted from, cheaper, common, divided, more interesting, extravagant, subtle, or fun? Just as with most problem-solving techniques, it’s important to allow the ideas to flow without judging them initially. You don’t want to stifle the creative process. Take notes, then evaluate your ideas later, when you have a page full of creative solutions.

That's because, in a fast-moving world, where people expect things to get better and better, and cheaper and cheaper, innovation is your route to getting ahead of your competition. Here are 7 ways to put new lifeblood into your organization through innovation. 1. Create An Innovative Climate. Goran Ekvall of Lund University in Sweden has defined three conditions needed for a climate of innovation. They are trust, dynamism, and humor. One of Ekvall's case studies was a Swedish newspaper where the team working on the women section consistently outperformed all the other teams. The reason? Quite simply, this group trusted one another, had a high level of energy, and shared a common sense of humor. 2. Develop Washing-Up Creativity. According to the Roffey Park Management Institute, most flashes of inspiration come to people when they are away from work and not forcing their conscious brains to find solutions to their problems. For some, ideas come while mowing the lawn or taking the dog for a walk or playing golf, or waiting at a railway station. For Isaac Newton, it was an apple on the head while sitting in the garden. For Archimedes, it was in the bath. For others it's while doing the dishes; that's why Roffey Park calls these flashes of insight: washing-up creativity. 3. Make New Connections. Making new connections between existing features of your product or service is a popular way to innovate. Akio Morita, chairman of Sony, said that he invented the Walkman because he wanted to listen to music while walking between shots on his golf course. His team simply put together two seemingly incompatible products: a tape recorder and a transistor radio. 4. Find Out What People Need. Necessity is a great spur to innovation. Take, for example, writing a paper. The Chinese had already made paper from rags around the year 100 BC but because there was no need for it, nothing came of it. When it did reach Europe in the Middle Ages when writing was all the rage, the supply of rags and worn-out fabric soon dried up. That's when a French naturalist made the discovery that wasps made their nests by chewing wood into a mash that dried in thin layers. Within 100 years, all paper was made using the idea of wood pulp. 5. Test, Test, Test. Product testing is the way most inventors and organizations go about innovation. It may not be the quickest route to success, but it is often the surest. Jonas Salk, for example, discovered the polio vaccine by spending most of his time testing and testing and continually finding out what didn't work. Thomas Edison, the inventor of the filament light bulb, recorded 1300 experiments that were complete failures. But he was able to keep going because, as he said, he knew 1300 ways that it wasn't going to work. 6. Adopt and Adapt. One relatively easy approach to innovation is to notice how others deal with problems and then adapt their solutions to your own. It's known as adapt and adopts. It's what watchmakers Swatch did when they realized that the more reliable their watches became, the fewer people needed to replace them. Their solution? Borrow an idea from the world of fashion and collections by turning their watches into desirable fashion accessories. Now people buy Swatch watches not just to tell the time but because it's cool to do so. 7. Take Lessons From Nature. If you really want to be inventive, you can't beat nature. The world of nature gives us an endless supply of prototypes to use in our own world. Take Velcro, for example. Velcro was patented by Georges de Mestral in 1950 after he returned from a hunting trip covered in tiny burrs that had attached themselves to his clothing by tiny overlapping hooks. De Mestral quickly realized that there was an ideal technique to fasten material together. A whole new way of doing things was suddenly invented. The history of the world is the history of innovation. Thomas Kuhn called each acceptance of a new innovation a paradigm shift. Once a new innovation becomes accepted, the world has changed forever and can never go back to the way it was.

It involves the invention of something new or the re-invention of something already existing to make it useful of interesting. Some peoples creative abilities are closer to the surface and one can easily see the manifestations of them. People say that their creativity is inborn. For others, expressing creativity takes more time and cultivation. The important thing to note is that we can all be creative. You just have to take steps to extract it from within you. Try the following: 1. Change your perspective. You might have heard the phrase Think outside the box. You should try looking at the situation from a different point of view. Change your perspective. Consider all factors that are affected by your problem or your concern. Try to breakdown the problem into several elements then shuffle them. Think of what would happen if an idea is replaced. This aspect is important in enhancing creativity because it helps you remove possible fixations that may hinder creativity. 2. Mentally move away from your current location. Imagine how another person would react if subjected in the same situation. Picture how different situations would continue when dealing with the same problem. Application in different settings can be also be done; and then from there, adapt a solution to the current setting. 3. Let your imagination run wild. Exercise your imagination. Modification can trigger creativity because you see things in a different light. You can also try to exaggerate or think of the extremes, be it magnification or minimization of something. Thinking of the possible differences between these two situations could produce ideas. This is the ultimate brain exercise. 4. Your comfort spot. The environment has to be right. You should have somewhere you can focus without being unnecessarily disturbed so you can give a problem your full attention. This should extend to the people you are with. You tend to do better at something when you are with like-minded people. To put it simply, hang out with creative people to help enhance your creative abilities. Most of the time, people tend to be more creative when they are with people who are doing the same thing. It was also found that if you wish to be more creative, you should try hanging out with creative people. 5. Time, time, time. You cant rush creativity. Hurrying does not help in the outflow of ideas. Your mind tends to go into a state of slight disarray when you are trying to force things. Studies show that results produced in this state are generally lacking. If you are low on time, then keep a list of activities like this one close to you. Go over each of the activities and exercise each one. Give it time. 6. Get helpcommunicate your ideas to others. A different view of the problem could help. Better yet, many different views! Never be shy to ask. Diversity is very helpful in relation with creativity. Organize a brainstorming session. The spontaneous generation of new ideas helps in formulation of more ideas. The products of brainstorming can be the raw material in the construction of the idea. Remember that in brainstorming, 4 rules are followed for it to be successful: – There should be no criticisms. Criticism hinders the free flow of ideas. This can be postponed until the session has ended. – Combining and/or modifying ideas are encouraged. – Quantity is preferred over quality in brainstorming. – Weird or strange ideas are encouraged. These are just some ideas to get your creative juices going. They can be adapted to suit each individual. A large amount of it is down to you. How inventive can you be? How open are you? Remove the boundaries from your mind and you will find your creativity will increase.

body![concept-5183469_1920.jpg](https://cdn.steemitimages.com/DQmeg6r5FxCNVr4bw5WJHEtTqcspuqh83j81bMAp3GWucFv/concept-5183469_1920.jpg) Here in England September represents the end of Summer and the beginning of Autumn as well as the start of the new school year and the start of many new initiatives in business, life and lots more besides. When anyone is looking to make any kind of change in their life, often the approach they take needs to become attractive or appealing in order for them to maintain it and often it may not remain attractive or appealing for as long as we like. I get lots of people that tell me that they find it difficult to maintain enthusiasm or keep on investing the required levels of energy in order to make a real success of a project or a goal. So, for that reason, I want to talk about enhancing creativity today. When you become more creative, you can begin to make more out of your every day experiences and perceptions of what it is that you are doing, you can make life more colourful and have more fun and joy when you are more creative. So what actually is Creativity? Good question. We can all be creative; creativity is about making new connections – and that is literally physiologically true within our neurology. Creativity is the mind’s growing edge. It often involves a lot of discovery. By creating new connections you build your brain power and develop mental and interpersonal flexibility which can begin to heighten your ability to do a huge array of things with more and more ease. Imagine this; every time you link two things together, you create a third entity. That new connection can itself then connect with other ideas, additional possibilities. Imagine the impact this can have throughout a system like your brain! Neil Armstrong first stepped onto the moon in 1965. That event changed our beliefs and thoughts about the universe. It also altered thoughts and beliefs about human inventiveness and skill: this event helped us to recognise that if we want something enough, we can find ways to do something that we may have believed to be impossible before. I reckon this gave may people some powerful and liberating thoughts and beliefs about human capability. I heard on the radio recently that there are also plans to land on Mars now! I always fancied being an astronaut. Being creative on an individual level has the same potential: when you connect things together, you go beyond both of them; and you have the possibility of forming new beliefs about yourself and your potential. I remember when I was first learning about NLP, hypnosis and my other beloved subjects, I was so excited, I would read so much material that I felt like my brain was literally growing and stretching. That’s not too scary is it? I love working with children. They have such a vivid imagination, I can remember when I used to play football for hours and days on end as a youngster, I was not just imagining scoring in the World Cup final, I really was actually there at Wembley Stadium scoring that goal, I am telling you I was there! Children are amazingly creative, each of us has been a child (some still are!). Children show their creativity in the way they discover their environment and make their own meanings of it. Many children create new worlds while playing with toys, they don’t need elaborate or sophisticated toys, equipment or props, the meaning comes from within them; the meaning comes from out of themselves. You need to give yourself permission and time (and energy) to make new connections and links which is what creativity is all about. It is about the process rather than the outcome or the final product. You can be creative at home or at work, when changing habits, updating behaviours, resolving issues, or just making life happier in any way you can. You can be creative with words, ideas, thoughts, materials, food and the kind of fun you have. You can be creative with your surroundings or with your internal world. In addition to this, creativity creates something new. That’s right, even if every ingredient is already known to you or is familiar. An insight for example, is creative because the new conclusion is gleaned from information you already had; it is the new perspective that makes the difference. Above all, being creative returns us to that state where we are scoring goals in World Cup finals. It is about being absorbed and enjoying doing what you are doing, paying attention to detail, having a grand vision, being excited and playful, wondering what would happen if…

I get lots of people that tell me that they find it difficult to maintain enthusiasm or keep on investing the required levels of energy in order to make a real success of a project or a goal.\n\nSo, for that reason, I want to talk about enhancing creativity today. When you become more creative, you can begin to make more out of your every day experiences and perceptions of what it is that you are doing, you can make life more colourful and have more fun and joy when you are more creative.\n\nSo what actually is Creativity?\n\nGood question. We can all be creative; creativity is about making new connections – and that is literally physiologically true within our neurology. Creativity is the mind’s growing edge. It often involves a lot of discovery. By creating new connections you build your brain power and develop mental and interpersonal flexibility which can begin to heighten your ability to do a huge array of things with more and more ease.\n\nImagine this; every time you link two things together, you create a third entity. That new connection can itself then connect with other ideas, additional possibilities. Imagine the impact this can have throughout a system like your brain!\n\nNeil Armstrong first stepped onto the moon in 1965. I always fancied being an astronaut.\n\nBeing creative on an individual level has the same potential: when you connect things together, you go beyond both of them; and you have the possibility of forming new beliefs about yourself and your potential. It can happen without our knowledge and can change a life forever. That is not to say the changes are for the worse. If we are aware, early on, that we are experiencing stress and dealing with anxiety then we have a great opportunity to promote positive behavior. This positive behavior can then dominate our lives. There are varying effects anxiety has on the human body, mind and spirit. Anxiety can often times be a silent killer. Stress and anxiety go hand in hand and both promote heart problems, respiratory problems and can cause us to age more rapidly than if we were to have a healthier, slower paced lifestyle. Yoga, deep tissue massages, and even routine exercising can be beneficial in reducing anxiety. All it takes is a phone call, a minute of searching the Internet, or even a chat with your physician or pastor to begin the process of healing. Once you have discovered on your own or been diagnosed by a physician that anxiety is the culprit for what ails you, the healing process is as difficult as you want it to be. Being in denial about anxiety is a step in the wrong direction. When you discover you have symptoms of an illness (serious or otherwise) and all physical elements are ruled out you must look long and hard at how you are living. There is part of us that most are not even aware of until our health plummets and we are forced to look more closely at how we live. Most of us can fully benefit by slowing everything down and easing up on what we cram into one day. Sometimes it is as if we have to fill each moment of everyday to the bursting point in order to feel as if we have accomplished something. Stepping back and doing nothing is a challenge. And it is challenge well worth the effort and one we must take into serious consideration. Slowing down is the first step to forcing out the anxiety that is easily accessible to all of us as humans. Forming a plan of attack on the urges and pitfalls that lead us further into the darkness of anxiety is essential. The war against anxiety begins with the acknowledgement that it exists. When you replace stressful, anxious behavior with positive, relaxed behavior you have the beginnings of a beautiful life.

bodyi like the whole motivational everything is possible point of view, but it's not realistic, everyone has specific limits, sure they can be surpassed with all the motivation and hard work, but if you don't have the natural capabilities for it you're not surpassing them by a lot

More often than not, we think and believe that someone or rather, most people are better than us.- when in reality, the fact is, most people are more scared than us. You spot a totally eye-catching girl sitting by herself at a party, casually sipping on a glass of Asti Spumanti. You think to yourself, she looks so perfectly calm and confident. But if you could read thru her transparent mind, you would see a bunch of clouds of thoughts and you might just be amazed that shes thinking are people talking about why I am seated here alone?… Why dont guys find me attractive? I dont like my ankles, they look too skinny I wish I was as intelligent as my best friend. We look at a young business entrepreneur and say Wooh what else could he ask for? He stares at himself at the mirror and murmur to himself, I hate my big eyes I wonder why my friends wont talk to me I hope mom and dad would still work things out. Isnt it funny? We look at other people, envy them for looking so outrageously perfect and wish we could trade places with them, while they look at us and thinks of the same thing. We are insecure of other people who themselves are insecure of us. We suffer from low self-esteem, lack of self-confidence and lose hope in self improvement because we are enveloped in quiet desperation. Sometimes, you notice that you have an irritating habit like biting off your finger nails, having a foul mouth, and you of all people, is the last to know. I have a friend who never gets tired of talking. And in most conversations, she is the only one who seems to be interested in the things she has to say. So all of our other friends tend to avoid the circles whenever shes around, and she doesnt notices how badly she became socially handicapped gradually affecting the people in her environment. One key to self improvement is to LISTEN and TALK to a trusted friend. Find someone who you find comfort in opening up with even the most gentle topics you want to discuss. Ask questions like do you think I am ill-mannered?, Do I always sound so argumentative?, Do I talk too loud?, Does my breath smell?, Do I ever bore you when were together?. In this way, the other person will obviously know that you are interested in the process of self improvement. Lend her your ears for comments and criticisms and dont give her answers like Dont exaggerate! Thats just the way I am! Open up your mind and heart as well. And in return, you may want to help your friend with constructive criticism that will also help her improve her self. One of Whitney Houstons songs says Learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all. True enough. In order to love others, you must love yourself too. Remember, you cannot give what you do not have. Before telling other people some ways on how to improve themselves, let them see that you yourself is a representation and a product of self improvement. Self improvement makes us better people, we then inspire other people, and then the rest of the world will follow. Stop thinking of yourselves as second-rate beings. Forget the repetitive thought of If only I was richer if only I was thinner and so on. Accepting your true self is the first step to self improvement. We need to stop comparing ourselves to others only to find out at the end that weve got 10 more reasons to envy them. We all have our insecurities. Nobody is perfect. We always wish we had better things, better features, better body parts, etc. But life need not to be perfect for people to be happy about themselves.Self improvement and loving yourself is not a matter of shouting to the whole world that you are perfect and you are the best. Its the virtue of acceptance and contentment. When we begin to improve ourselves, we then begin to feel contented and happy.
