It is a far, far better thing that I do, than I have ever done; it is a far, far better rest I go to than I have ever known” Okay. It is not about any sacrifice as Dicken intended. It is about how the exchanges feel good about going to Malta. Whilst Binance and OKEX are going for Malta, do you hear any noise about exchanges going to Gibraltar? The main reason is the people of the country. Maltese are genuine and welcoming, particularly about people who brought in economy and new opportunities. These Islanders are truly welcoming crypto-businese in their heart. Gibraltarians are still adopting the British gentlemen style of doing business, cold and arrogant. It may be my own subjective view. But look at the local banks in these 2 countries. I have heard 1 or 2 Malta local banks are friendly to crypto, while local banks in Gibraltar are probably STILL THINKING the feasibility to crypto. See the difference? |

| body | It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness… These are the best lines describing the industry today. OKEx is moved (or somebody says it just opened another branch) in Malta, making Malta the home or second home to the 2 largest exchanges, OKEx and Binance. What does Malta offer to those two giants? A crypto-friendly jurisdiction? Potential Licensing regime for crypto business? An English-speaking country? British legal system? These are the common understanding in the industry. If they are the only reasons, then don’t the exchanges go to Gibraltar? Gibraltar has all along been known as crypto-friendly country. Gibraltar’s licensing regime has announced long before Malta’s. It has announced that any crypto company doing business in Gibraltar before December 2017 will have a grace period to obtain license, while Malta’s grace period only starts on 1 June 2018. I have flirted with both Gibraltar’s and Malta’s regulators. To know the insider truth of the two countries, you have to see my next post. |

| body | Reporting from India - Gujurat's Finest has once again shocked the world by bringing Bitcoin to the international spotlight. More than 10 police officers were said to be involved in securing a businessman for his own safety (kidnapping) in exchange for some much-needed refreshments their mere civil servant salary could not afford (extortion). Little is known on what these fine gentlemen will be getting with 200 BTC but it is great to know that one can walk safely in our backyard and not be living in constant fear. This is what you can get with 200 BTC (1.35Million USD at current price): - 1,350,000 Cheeseburgers from our local chronic heart disease factory (hint: I’m loving it) - 1,083,200 cans of sugar water (Coke, Sprite, Pepsi – pick your poison) - 1,000,000 donuts (best cop food) - 33,750 lap dances from struggling college students See more of their heroic acts here: www.coindesk.com/indian-police-officers-charged-1-3-million-bitcoin-extortion-scheme/ |

| body | One may not realize, crypto has substantially change a marriage life. 1. Bread and butter is no longer an issue in a marriage, BTC and ETH are. A married couple are no longer materialistic. They do not argue about the size of a diamond or the michelin star anniversary dinner. Scalability and a new project are more far more important than gifts and nice dinner. They will stay home and watch the price of BTC going up and down. On a special occasion, they will go out for an ICO meet-up and have the snacks/pizza there. 2. Family time is trading time. Spending time with family is precious, but the market is extremely volatile. The only solution is to trade together, all the time. Yes. All the time. And since you don’t see your friends anymore when you start trading, the family bond is tighter. 3. Thanks to decentralization, divorce proceedings have never been this easy. You do not need to prove where your partner has stashed the money, you only need to know the wallet address. If your partner has dissipated any asset right before the divorce, you could trace it all. If your partner did not all-in to crypto and stashed asset elsewhere, that’s mean you have chosen the wrong person in the very first place. Blame yourself. |

| body | Many people think that crypto and regulators (or Government) are going against each other. They have their reasons. Crypto is decentralized and government is, obviously, centralized. Non-crypto friendly country wants to ban crypto. Even in a crypto friendly country, the government still want to regulate crypto with various restrictions. Governments do not want their fiat currency to be replaced. If we look closer to the government’s position on crypto, it is interesting to see that a government is fighting against itself. Korea – In Jan 2018, the Justice Ministry made statements that Korea will ban cryptocurrency in its entirety. Few days later, Korea’s finance minister said they have no plans to shut down cryptocurrency trading. A policy does not change that fast. From the source of the inner circle of Korea government blockchain committee, Korea never has a plan to ban crypto. The incident was a pure political move. A fight between 2 camps in a government. Venezuela – On 20th February 2018, Venezuela launched the presale of its own oil-backed token. But just 1 month before the launch, the Venezuela’s congress declared petro-crypto was illegal. The congress still holds the same position. Kazakhstan - On 30th March 2018, the National Bank of Kazakhstan said they will ban crypto trading and mining. Until the present day, as far as I understand, Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA) of Kazakhstan is still promoting their jurisdiction for crypto businesses. From what I have seen, it wasn’t the government who is fighting against crypto, it is just people fighting against people. Crypto is merely a mean, not an end. Just like gun itself doesn’t kill, it is the people to do the killing. Crypto is not a wrongdoer, human being is. |

| body | To be honest, when I was first introduced to Bitcoin, my initial response (like most intellects of my caliber) was that it is a scam. And because we are SO smart and not – ignorant, we made the conclusion without further research or investigation. It wasn’t until after a few bull runs before bitcoin was again within my radar. After some much-delayed alone time on youtube while powering through Satoshi’s whitepaper with the help of endless cans of redbull, I started to question whether or not I can be any more Donald Trumped for passing on this revolutionary technology. What caught my eyes the most was the ability to escape the tyranny big institutions had enforced on our lives with an iron fist of greed. For example, we now have ICOs which allow average crypto enthusiast to get their hands on tokens / coins backed by projects they believe in. For the first time I felt freedom within the grasp and life has rewarded me with an investment opportunity traditionally only reserved for rich folks. Then today I saw Telegram announcing that their plan of raising 1.2 billion from ICO open to public investors has been scrapped entirely because 2 whales decided to put in 1.7 billion F You money. Is this the new trend? Are you going to see my private sales over public sales? Why are we moving backwards? Why are we replacing the “C” in ICO with a “P”? |

| body | The most commonly discovered new species are typically insects but from time to time newly discovered mammal species do occur. Scientists have recently discovered a new species of hippie, sloppily-dressed Bros roaming the halls of any events with the slightest mention of “cryptocurrency” around the world. The new bro belongs to the Bitcoiner family (Bitcoinislifedus), which the scientists describe as “one of the most peculiar looking and sounding Bro species they have encountered”. Alas, with the growth of a new industry such as cryptocurrency, there will always be a new breed of posers (or in this case, ‘bros’) who want to hop on board the bandwagon and use their newfound “knowledge” to get laid. ___________ >Physical description: intentionally disguised themselves in sloppy clothes in order to look like a nerdy programmer. This camouflage is their defense mechanism to avoid anyone from calling out their inability to understand complex technology. Or blockchain technology, to be exact. >Behaviour: Often has a weak grasp on blockchain/ crypto as a whole but likes to boast about their investments and very opinionated on which the best ones are. However, this behaviour is rarely seen by public as they are infected with Keyboard Warrior Syndrome. >Communication: At their natural habitats, Crypto Bros have been observed to make the following sounds: rareeemoooo (when provoked), tearrrxxx (when excited) and pabadummm (before feeding). In order to make it easier for our readers we have attempted to replace these sounds with actual English words: “When moon”, “10 X” and “Pump and dump” respectively. >Enemies and Competitors: Crypto Bros typically dominate other species in areas where they both occur with their large arsenal of cryptocurrencies they have accumulated during the early stages of their birth. They are likely to namedrop random alt/shitcoins in your face at every opportunity, highlighting their superiority over you as a crypto-species. _______ The biggest question is … What should you do when encountering a crypto bro? Here are our pro tips: When encountered with a Crypto Bro, never have any eye contact and escape as calmly as possible. Do NOT ever be persuaded by their rhythmic yet deadly chants composed of crypto advices. Block them on Telegram if they mysteriously add you. Act quick. So, dear readers, have you ever encountered a Crypto bro? Do you think crypto bros could ever evolve into a more meaningful, intellectual species? | body | Many people think that crypto and regulators (or Government) are going against each other. Crypto is not a wrongdoer, human being is. |

| body | One may not realize, crypto has substantially change a marriage life. Blame yourself. |

| body | Reporting from India - Gujurat's Finest has once again shocked the world by bringing Bitcoin to the international spotlight. This is what you can get with 200 BTC (1.35Million USD at current price): - 1,350,000 Cheeseburgers from our local chronic heart disease factory (hint: I’m loving it) - 1,083,200 cans of sugar water (Coke, Sprite, Pepsi – pick your poison) - 1,000,000 donuts (best cop food) - 33,750 lap dances from struggling college students See more of their heroic acts here: www.coindesk.com/indian-police-officers-charged-1-3-million-bitcoin-extortion-scheme/ |

| body | I have worked alongside many professionals in different industries on various projects. But I have always wondered why these professionals would take the pay cuts and move into the wild wild west we called Cryptocurrency. When they can easily have a stable, handsome salary amongst the elites of Wall-Street. Speaking of finance, not long after President Donal Trump announced the trade war with Kim Jong Un, I heard a trader friend said that in the traditional corporate world, crypto industry is seen as North Korea, a space which is mystery yet dangerous but hard to resist not to go in. Looking at it from the outside it might seem like a dictatorship with harsh regimes which acts as a deterrent to new comers who wish to enter. Yet if you understand how the game is played with proper due diligence it could also create unimaginable gains and reward. Disclaimer: This entry does not intent to disrespect any country or its citizens. If you feel offended, here is my advice: (1) Immerse yourself with a sense of humour; or better yet (2) Buy BTC. |

| body | Image source: freedomnode.com 1. Too volatile – going from afternoon tea at the Ritz to choosing your dinner on the McDonald’s Value meals to Champagne Showers with Dom Perignon might be too much of a roller coaster for most. Plus who wants to drive a lambo in this traffic anyways? 2. It is a bubble – the JP Morgan CEO said ‘Bitcoin is a fraud’ late 2017, so what other proof do you need? We all know Wall Street Bankers have the best interest of the small investors in mind always. But wait he also said he ‘regretted’ his comments early 2018 and his traders are heavily exposed to cryptocurrencies, hmmm now I am confused. 3. Bitcoin has no value – this is a no brainer comparing with something like USD which has no limit in supply (Quantitative Easing), could represent more gold than there physically are in reserve and cannot be traced making it truly anonymous. 4. Used for illegal activities – with its’ public ledger design and the ability to conduct cheap / quick international transfers, no wonder the criminals are starting to deal in Bitcoin and not the traditional USD. 5. Unregulated space – without the support of governments who’s going to do the bailout during financial crisis? Who needs self-regulation by the mass when everything can be controlled by a few intelligent selfless individuals who’s only compensation is a huge bonus and useless luxurious items? BE YOUR OWN JUDGE ;) |

| body | To be honest, when I was first introduced to Bitcoin, my initial response (like most intellects of my caliber) was that it is a scam. |
