For Steem dollar to become more widely used, it have to first gain widespread acceptance among consumers. Hence the need to build a community around ourselves, introducing it to all who find themselves online. Made and popularized by people from the states of Akwa Ibom and Cross River. This soup is quite popular in various countries because it tastes very good and also rich in nutritional content.\n     It is a general notion that the Edikang Ikong soup is very nutritious and this is very much so. Prepared with a generous quantity of pumpkin leaves and water leaves, this Nigerian soup recipe is nourishing in every sense of the word.\n\nHow to Cook Edikang Ikong Soup\n\nIt is common for Nigerians to request this soup recipe after a bout of illness as we trust it to replenish whatever was lost during the sickness. But you don't need to be in a state of convalescence to enjoy this wholesome Nigerian food recipe.\n\nIngredients for Edikang Ikong Soup\n1kg Pumpkin leaves\n500g Water leaves (Talinum Triangulare)\n600g Beef, Kanda, shaki and Dry fish\nPepper, Salt and ground crayfish: to taste\n200ml Palm oil\n1 cup Periwinkle\n2 medium onions\n2-3 stock cubes\n\nBefore you cook the Edikaikong Soup\nWash and cut the pumpkin and water leaves into tiny pieces. Put them in separate sieves to drain out all the water as much as possible.\nCut the Kanda into small pieces. Cook the beef, kanda and the dry fish with the 2 bulbs of diced onions and the stock cubes with as little quantity of water as possible.\n\nCooking Directions\nWhen the meat is done, add a generous amount of palm oil, the crayfish and pepper and leave to boil for about 10 minutes. The palm oil serves as the liquid in the Edikang Ikong soup. You should try as much as possible to make it the only liquid in the soup.\nAdd the periwinkle and water leaves and leave to cook for another 5 minutes. You may have to cook for less time at this stage so that the water leaves are not over-cooked.\nNow add the pumpkin leaves and salt to taste. Stir the contents of the pot very well and turn off the heat. So you can only login using your \"Steemit username and password or masterkey\". Hence it important for you to have a Steemit account.\n\nAfter logging in, you will be asked to authorized. Then you will be directed to your blog page. After that your good to go. \n\n** Contribution** \n\nContribution are your content that your willing to post.  It is your reason for being here. Your password to getting rewards. \n\nYou are now sign-in to utopian.io (and therefore, the open source platform).  At the top left corner,  you will see the the word \"project\" and a down arrow.  Click that and you will see there are 14 different views you can select from to filter new contributions. Each view is denoted by a particular colour.\n\nNext to the project button is the \"search\" - this allows you to search other contribution by typing keywords\n\nAfter the search box is the \"contribution\" button. This is found at the right corner of your utopian.io page clicking on it direct you to a page I called \"about contribution page\" - here you will be asked to choose what type of contribution you want to make?  There are 12 in number \n\n  *suggestions: Suggestions are minor features/enhancements that you would like to have in an Open Source project.\n  *development: in the development category you can submit Bug Fixes, New Features and your Own Projects.\n  *bug hunting: In this category you can submit Bug Reports for actively maintained Open Source projects on GitHub.\n  * translation: This category is meant only for translations you have created or updated for an Open Source project.\n  * graphics: This category is meant only for graphics/videos/motion graphics that you have realised for an open source project.\n  *analysis:This category is meant only for providing a data analysis you have generated for an Open Source project.\n  * visibility: This category is meant only for providing results of online social engagement, ads and similar for an Open Source project.\nPromotions done on chats (e.g. Whatsapp, Telegram and similar) is not accepted as valid contribution.\n  * documentation: This category is meant only when working on the Official documentation of an Open Source project.\n  * tutorial: Tutorials must be technical instructions that teach non-trivial aspects of an Open Source project.\n  *it also have category for video tutorials \nUtopian-io recently develop an announcement page and also have a diversity platform.
