| title | How Can I Make Money Fast? |
| body | Good question. Making money has a number of factors attached to and your question adds more factors we need to consider before we get to the nitty grittys of it all. # How Much? The first thing you do not tell us is how much money you have in mind. $50, $500 or $5,000? Is this a one off thing or a bi-weekly, monthly or annual thing? Without this specific, then any amount is good enough, right? You will need to be realistic and set a goal. # How Fast? Secondly, how fast is fast? Do you want this money two days from now, tomorrow or next summer? You have to have a time frame to it for the urgency to kick in. This will also determine the options and the accompanying risks you need to look into later. # Boot Camp... Other than that, making money comes down to the following basic issues: 1. Find out what people need or what people want solved. Walk their dogs, or clean their homes or offices, bake their birthday cake, design their websites or something. You are skilled at something...and it better be legal! 2. Help them solve it. Present yourself to them as a solution they can trust..and do such a good job of it every time you do it. It helps to grow your customer base because you turn them into raving fans. 3. They should pay for it at a price they are willing to pay for but also one which will give you profit. As you repeat this process you can increase it by increasing your customer base, or product or service range. All the best. |

| body | To invent God is not, and has not been, a fruitful exercise. Just look at history and every culture you can think of. Intellectualism hasn't helped either. If we can invent a god then we surely do not need one do we? And yet, when I look at nature itself, it speaks of design. There must be a being out there who did all this. I fail to understand how all this can just "happen". The issue becomes how does God reveal himself in ways that we cannot doubt? In my search, I have found the God of the Bible to be true. I guess, being African, I live with the undeniable reality that spirituality is and, when we go into that realm, clearly, there are two different sides. And they don't play by our rules. |

| body | Interesting, to say the least but I have to disagree. I see the effects of polygamy all around where I live. My country is one of the hardest hit when it comes to the HIV/AIDS pandemic (google up HIV?AIDS and Malawi to see what I mean). It has hit so close to home many times and the pain of dealing with child-headed households and the vicious cycle this perpetuates is too much for me. On the basis of that alone, monogamy makes sense to me. Polygamy has done a whole lot more damage than anything...and I have to ask "are rights always right?" |

| title | How To Make Money Without A Job |
| body | http://i.imgsafe.org/d602d06022.jpg Image from [Freeimages](http://www.freeimages.com) It used to be that a job was the only way to make sure money but not so. If you read Robert T. Kiyosaki's [The Cashflow Quadrant](http://amzn.to/2bB3U1e) which I highly recommend, you will realize that a job is just one of the four ways you can make money from. There are a minimum of four ways of how you can make money Let's Beat The Dead Horse Shall We? # 1. Job A job is a sure way you can make money. You are guaranteed a paycheck after a certain period as long as you do your part. Your employer is basically buying the expertise you are selling. But stuff happens in life and you find yourself out of a job (yours truly has been through three of these). # 2. Self Employement Also known as giving yourself a job. You take your expertise and create a job for yourself. So, for instance, I start private tutoring instead of working in a school or I start a medical practice instead of working in a hospital as a doctor. Consulting falls into this category. The list is long. This has it's pluses and minuses which I will not go into but quite a handsome amount of money is made here. # 3. Business Owner These guys are pretty smart. They build a business system which they own. They may work there if they chose or not. Think of Microsoft, Bill Gates does not have to work there anymore...he built it. Others get jobs there. Others are self employed because of Microsoft. # 4. Investors These guys are those who let their money work for money. They can be as big as Warron Buffet or as small as some guys I know around my city. Either way, they are able to make money...lots of it. # 5. Combos There are those who combine being employed and owning a business or being self employed and being and investor and so on and so forth. So the issue is to widen the horizon and ask yourself which way you should be making money. Stop limiting yourslf to a job. Last time I checked, Steemit is making me money and I continue to write more helpful stuff and get paid for it. Bottom line: a job is one of the many ways through which you can make money. |

| body | Indeed: Matthew 6:25-34 NIV 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? 28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. |

| title | Why Worry When You Can Pray? |
| body | http://i.imgsafe.org/afdbe16dd8.jpg Do not read this if you do not believe in God. It simply won't help. But then again... I wrote earlier why people should not manage or control worry but eliminate it altogether. You can read about the [How To Stop Worrying & Start Living](https://steemit.com/life/@sunganani/how-to-stop-worrying-and-start-living) and [The Four Reasons You Should Not Worry](https://steemit.com/health/@sunganani/6-reasons-why-you-should-not-worry) besides the fact that it sucks...literaly. Sucks the life out of you. Allow me to be really undiplomatic and politically incorrect; # Q1: Why Would Do You Worry When You Can Pray? When you are in prayer, there is an exchange going on. You talk with God and he talks with you. He should be able to handle whatever it is that concerns you, right? Or it's time to move to another one...seriously. # Q2: Why Would You Not Want To Give Him What Worries You? I am convinced that, we are not designed to worry pretty much like a 10 ton truck is not designed to carry 15 tons. In spite of that, we do it all the time in my part of the world and breakdowns and accidents due to overloading are very common. Many times with fatalities that could have been avoided. We do the same thing with worry and wonder why we are sickly, or snap at each other and stuff. We are just not designed to carry worry. Pray, give it to God. If he designed us, then he knows how to deal with it, right? # Q3: Why Would You Not Want To Focus On Productive Things? When you worry, you put your thinking to wrong use instead of using your brain to be productive. Can you worry yourself a centimetre taller? No? Then quit it and think, instead of how you are going to earn more and pay off that debt. Worrying will demand more money which you would have used to pay of that debt. God gave you your mind for something and it is definitely not worry. I could go on and on but if you have a God who you can pray to, my point is, he should be able to deal with worry otherwise the whole thing becomes a joke. My opinionated article ends here... |

| title | How To Stop Worrying |
| body | http://i.imgsafe.org/af3fc95ff0.jpg I was in my doctor's office, age 17, when he made this statement: "Young man, I can give you the best medication on the planet for your hypertension (high blood pressure) but if you do not find a way to deal with worry, you will just be spending money for nothing." That put me on a quest on how to stop worrying so I could control my high blood pressure. The literature (and others) said you cannot heal high blood pressure, you just control or manage it...be careful who you listen to. I wish I knew the alternative much earlier because 22 years down the line, I learned a way to totally get out of it. Probably the best literature I came across on this subject was ["How To Stop Worrying and Start Living" Dale Carnegie](http://amzn.to/2bfqJUL)...but I digress. # A Bit of A Rant... As of this writing, this is my third year without taking high blood pressure medicine. I am fine...really. # End of Rant Worrying does not help anyone positively...except the pharmaceutical industry and it's cousins. You find for me someone who has given themselves over to worry and has profited out of it. We tend to worry ourselves sick (literary) and pay heavily for it. Then there are the smart few who, instead of worrying, they think of a solution to what is causing them to worry. So let me share how you can stop worrying, something that works for me. # Step One: Live With This Things that cause us to worry are a dime a dozen and they will always be with us. Bills, broken relationships or relationships that are about to break, war, rumours of war, apocalypse, hunger, epidemic breakouts, terrorist attacks *ad infinitum*. These things are here to stay. Live with that fact. It is a risky business to worry. # Step Two: Find The Root Cause We are going for the root here. What is causing me to have high blood pressure at age 17? Once you get to it, deal with it. I realized that my parents' issue was theirs. I have my life to live. My own destiny to fulfil. It is not worth it to have health issues because of what they went throught. So I adjust and move on towards my life purpose. (Please understand that I love my parents dearly). But worrying myself sick (again, litelary) was not helping. It is a risk business. # Step 3: Transfer the Risk I take my health risk out on something/someone else. In my case I prayed. "God, I am giving this situation over to you. I do not want to be sick anymore" Worked for me...yes, I am what you would call, a spiritual person (but then who isn't). Hey this rocks my boat. Once the risk is transferred then # Step 4 (and the final one): Focus On The Solution(s) You really need to find the solution to your problem. In my case, I tried all sorts of solutions from conventional medicine to the not so conventional. What worked is a combination of good nutrition, good working habits and lots of risk transference to God. My God. You are the one in trouble, you need to find the solution...because nobody else feels the pinch as you do. Quit blaming and just work out a solution. I wish I could say that I did that once and that was the end of it but no, it is a way of thinking that I had to get into...after all, worrying is wrong thinking or shall I say, thinking put to wrong use. Years after 17 later with a wife and three kids, I get plenty to worry about but I continue to employ these steps and they work for me. If you are interested, you can read my book on [How To Stop Worrying and Start Thinking Right](http://amzn.to/2bGz975) but this post pretty much covers the principles I outline in the book. So stop worrying. It sucks, literary, the life out of you. It's just not worth it. You need to live life to the full. It's worth the shot. Upvote, reply, disagree, share...do something. |

| title | How To Stop Worrying And Start Living |
| body | http://i.imgsafe.org/af3fc95ff0.jpg I was in my doctor's office, age 17, when he made this statement: "Young man, I can give you the best medication on the planet for your hypertension (high blood pressure) but if you do not find a way to deal with worry, you will just be spending money for nothing." That put me on a quest on how to stop worrying so I could control my high blood pressure. The literature (and others) said you cannot heal high blood pressure, you just control or manage it...be careful who you listen to. I wish I knew the alternative much earlier because 22 years down the line, I learned a way to totally get out of it. # A Bit of A Rant... As of this writing, this is my third year without taking high blood pressure medicine. I am fine...really. Worrying does not help anyone positively...except the pharmaceutical industry and it's cousins. Bills, broken relationships or relationships that are about to break, war, rumours of war, apocalypse, hunger, epidemic breakouts, terrorist attacks ad infinitum. Focus your energies on what will help you solve those things # Step 4 (and the final one): Focus On The Solution(s) You really need to find the solution to your problem. In my case, I tried all sorts of solutions from conventional medicine to the not so conventional. What worked is a combination of good nutrition, good working habits and lots of risk transferance to God. Years after 17 later with a wife and three kids, I have plenty to worry about but I continue to employ these steps and they work for me. If you are interested, you can read my book on [How To Stop Worrying and Start Thinking Right](https://www.amazon.com/Stop-Worrying-Start-Thinking-Right-ebook/dp/B00BUE8PFW) but this post pretty much covers the principles I outline in the book. So stop worrying. It sucks, literary, the life out of you. It's just not worth it. You need to live life to the full. |

| title | Four Reasons Why You Should Not Worry |
| body | http://i.imgsafe.org/c4dffb719c.jpg Nobody should be worrying. Read it again, I will wait. Done? Good. You are about to find out why I insist on that. It was one of those days when I was lost in a crowd, thinking about something I had just cracked after a lot of mental work when a friend walked up to me and said "You should not worry too much, it will kill you." I understood her concern as I replied "I am not worrying, I am thinking, they are different." Now where did that come from? I had just had an "aha" moment, one that was to lead me to the writing of[ my own book...seriously, it is on kindle but you get the insights here for free.](https://www.amazon.com/Stop-Worrying-Start-Thinking-Right-ebook/dp/B00BUE8PFW) *Now isn't that nice of me?* But I digress. What hit me was that worrying and thinking are two different things. *Worry is thinking put to wrong use.* And a lot of people pay dearly for that, me included. (I will tell my story of how I had hypertension from age 17 for 17 years because of that...in another post). Today I just want to focus on why you should quit worrying. I am serious about that. Nothing justifies you to worry. ## **1. Big Purpose** There are bigger purposes than your personal issues. Now I don't mean to demean whatever issues that have been leading you to worry but you were born for more. Really. If you are worried about whether you will eat spaghetti or macaroni then may I remind you that there are those who do not know what they will eat this week?! If you think spots on your face are unbearable, then you should think of the cancer patient who has been fighting it for months and it's getting worse. Bottom line: you are here for a purpose and you can make a difference to those around you. Get to work and worry will be put in its proper perspective. ## **2. Big Value** Kinda related with the first one but you are a lot more valuable than what you may think. Worrying has been known to cause hypertension, like in my case. When my parents separated, I, like many other children in my case, blamed it on myself and, at age 17 set off a chain reaction that cost me thousands of US$ over the next 17 years with hypertension (that is medical geek for high blood pressure). One doctor was open enough to tell me that this trend of you people having "old people's medical conditions" was becoming very common... and the majority of the so called "blue collar diseases" are due to stress and worry. But you are more valuable than that. Worry tends to devalue your health, your relationships, your work (because you put your thinking to wrong use). Your mind should be thinking about a whole lot more things that will be beneficial to you and the community. ## **3. Unproductive You** Worry is unproductive to you and those around you...well, except for the pharmaceutical industry and its cousins. They basically are making a killing because you worry. Apart from that, there is no productivity on your part...or anybody else's for that matter. I am yet to hear of anyone who ever produced anything out of worry. There are those that changed and started to think right instead of worrying (thinking wrong), I admit, but that is not the same thing. ## **4. Design Alert** http://i.imgsafe.org/c53f0ee5a6.jpg I believe in design and I believe that we, as human beings, are not designed to worry. Now I know the car is a bit on the extreme but, here in Africa, that is not uncommon. We tend to "maximize" all we have got...but I have also learned something: A car is designed with the capacity to carry a load up to a certain limit. Load it with more and you begin to break some things. You become Overloaded. Worry overloads us. Worry breaks us. And, ya, it kills us softly. (to use the the words of Lauryn Hill.) So I will share with you how I deal with worry in my next steems/posts. Otherwise let me make a bold statement: stop it! |

| body | http://i.imgsafe.org/c4dffb719c.jpg Nobody should be worrying. |

(I will tell my story of how I had hypertension from age 17 for 17 years because of that...in another post). Today I just want to focus on why you should quit worrying. I am serious about that. Nothing justifies you to worry.\n\n1. There are bigger purposes than your personal issues. You were born for more.\n2. You are more valuable to through away your life with worry. BP, depression etc\n3. Worry Is Unproductive - except for the pharmaceutical industry and related ones\n4. You are not designed to worry, no wonder it breaks you. Ya, it kills you softly.\nSo I will share with you how I deal with worry in my next steem. Otherwise let me make a bold statement: stop it!",

| title | Day 2 Steemit Update: Where Do I Click? |
| body | So this is day 2 of being on Steemit and I have read around a bit. Coming form Facebook and pals, there is one thing t that has me in pain...somewhat: **Getting to learn markdown** No, I was not a fan of HTML and cousins either. I was hoping for the clickability one has in writing Facebook posts but nah, for some reason yet unknown to the Steemit gods, it is not there. Poor me...and who knows who else, we have to learn the lingo and get along just like everyone else! Pray to the Steemit gods to do some kind of inbuilt text editors in this platform and Oh yes, have you seen this here? When are we going to put our profile pictures in the place o dear Steemit gods? Oh well, if it comes, it comes. In the mean time, thank you to all those "Steemiters" who have done tutorials on how to do links or put up a picture and what not. Really appreciate it. |

Coming form Facebook and pals, there is one thing t that has me in pain...somewhat:\n\n**Getting to learn markdown**\n\nNo, I was not a fan of HTML and cousins either. \n\nI was hoping for the clickability one has in writing Facebook posts but nah, for some reason yet unknown to the Steemit gods, it is not there. Poor me...and who knows who else, we have to learn the lingo and get along just like everyone else!\n\nPray to the Steemit gods to do some kind of inbuilt text editors in this platform and\n\nOh yes, have you seen this here?\n\nWhen are we going to put our profile pictures in the place o dear Steemit gods?\n\nOh well, if it comes, it comes. In the mean time, thank you to all those \"Steemiters\" who have done tutorials on how to do links or put up a picture and what not.\n\nReally appreciate it.",

| body | Hi, I am an entrepreneur from Malawi, somewhere in southern Africa (no, not South Africa) and I just got introduced to steemit by Herc Macgnus, some fella from the US whom I have never met in person ...and that brings me to my fascination with all things internet based. Simply put Love the tool and what is has managed to do for our lives...at least the good that it has done. And when you are from a country like mine then you know just how great the internet it. In the meantime, I am off to explore this Steemit thingie. You will be seeing me around. |
