Immediately after the burial, her late husband family collected all the properties and sent her away empty handed and she had two kids. \n\nThe Supreme Court that voided the Igbo tradition and custom, which forbid a female from inheriting her late father's property is one of the best things that happened in Igbo land. The Igbo custom and tradition marginalised women and make room for discrimination, it places man above a woman thereby make a man to be like god to a woman. Women don't talk when men are talking. They stood in love with their parents and siblings even after being married. They took care of their parents more than the men. If women are doing all these, there is no need to marginalise them.
