I'm actually surprised that it's an action adventure type of game.\n\nPuzzles and death traps aplenty and with tank controls, it is a pain. Oh boy~~ But oh well, Playstation era stuff.\n\nI saw there is this Fear Effect Sedna game release back in march and it reminded me of this game. Hopefully I can play more of this game in the future. Shop owners would let the kids have a go at the game with the light guns and the kid's parents would ask questions about the console and game.\n\nEventually some of the time, the parents would buy the console there and then. Convinced by the shop owner to buy for their kids.\n\nIt is very hard with a controller which is what i'm doing in the video. The enemies come hard and fast and I just don't get why you need to move the targeting reticle to the side of the screen when you are using controllers??\n\nI understand with light guns, you want to mimic the arcades way of reloading but using controllers come on man. It ruins you targeting and you get hit a lot as a result. \n\nThe anime cutscenes are top notch tho. They kind of remind of Tekkaman Blade anime in the 90s. I always like to imagine that the younger guy is D-Boy and shouting VOL-TEKA~ everytime I press the grenade button LOL.\n\nAnyway there is no subtitles in the anime cutscenes so you won't know what is going on. Not knowing what is really going on, i just struggled with the controls until i got used to it.\n\nYeah it uses tank controls, I don't think it has support for dualshock. It would make life so much easier with it tho. It is those type of games where you need to play the first character to unlock the 2nd and so on.\n\nThere are 3 characters to unlock, each with a different weapons setup and specials.\n\nThe menus are in English language here and the voice over for the intro is done in English as well, so it is very much playable without the need for Japanese language knowledge.\n\nNot bad game actually and i quite enjoyed it. Guess my young child mind think that it is fun? Oh well guess it was back then.\n\nDidn't know it's from Interplay until i was recording the game for this video. What a surprise there, the game is not bad actually. \n\nI was doing good actually chasing around shooting the bad guys up, until I screwed up and harm too much civilians. In the end i got a big fat game over LOL. Why did me and my vehicle get shot up in the game over screen?? Even tho i just harm too many civilians?? So you start looking on the interwebs and see what password let you play as T-Rex.\n\nAnd that's how it goes usually. Camera is the usual side scrolling Beat 'em up type of deal. Considering it has to cram 4 players simultaneously  at the same time on one screen.\n\nI think it does a decent job. In arena battle mode, the camera changes to a type of view similar to power stone games. Kinda but not quite.\n\nAnyway decent game, 4 initial characters to choose from with unlocks as you play.
