| body | Hello. I am a writer who is going to do CampNational Novel Writing Month in July. It's a month-long writing contest, where everyone wins as long as you meet your goal. Next month I will be doing a fan fiction using characters from War&Peace, but more specifically the ones used in The Great Comet by Dave Malloy. Here is the start of my ideas for it. They go to school in the US somewhere Andrey: A nerdy guy but he’s an athlete playing football, baseball, and basketball. Probably some type of sports management or communications major. Natasha: A girl that everyone wants to know because she is so opened to people. Probably an undecided major. Sonya: An introvert!!!! The group needs to drag her out kicking and screaming to do things on a Friday night. A psychology major because this is her way of helping as many people as she can. Mom friend TM. Considers Mary her best friend, because they can talk about books. A lesbian!!!!! Marya: teaches history or something. 50% cool hip mom, 50% helicopter parent there is no in between. Anatole: A bisexual frat boy. Problematic and barely goes to class. Helene: A bisexual woman studies major. She picked it cause it seemed like an easy major. She's in a sorority. Dolokholv:See Anatole. Anatole’s partner in crime. Bolkonsky: The dean of the college. Old, and should probably retire, but he’s keeping an eye on Mary and Andrey. Mary: An Introvert in a sea of extroverts!!!!! A freshmen so she is the youngest person of the group. An English major because books and talking about books is her jam. The DD they call when they need a ride home. A lesbian!!!! Has a blog and a tumblr!!!! Balaga: The bar owner of their favorite spot. A shady guy TM. Pierre: Cranky grumpy old guy TM Funny thing is he’s only a junior with the rest of the group. A philosophy major who enjoys reading on a Friday night. Took Mary to her prom as her escort cause he’s a nice guy TM. Drunk a lot, but still manages to get to class on time. |

| body | Best Musical Wild Card. There Will Be Sun Groundhog Day https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p2EB1_mgNr8&list=PL7zuSd2e0NsMWq_thPkD6p8uXjPEhfWpd&index=2. Come From Away Dear Evan Hansen Groundhog Day Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812. With the core four in this category, it’s tough to pick a real winner here. I would love to see Dear Evan Hansen pull out a win. It could go with the very serious Dear Evan Hansen, which I feel like is the overall fan favorite. The Great Comet has a lot of spectacles so that could be its key to the win. They could also go with what I think is the underdog and go with the very fun Groundhog Day. Come From Away is very real, and I think this could be what gives them the win in this category. Best Book David Hein and Irene Sankoff, Come From Away Steven Levenson, Dear Evan Hansen Dave Malloy, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 Danny Rubin, Groundhog Day The best book is another wild card, there are many wild cards among the nominees this year, but overall this is what I was expecting in this category. I think the way that Dear Evan Hansen is so fantastically written, and it’s such a story I think it will win. Dear Evan Hansen is a story that is very real, and I think that people can relate to the story, so that’s why I think it will win. Speaking of real stories I think that Come From Away could be the underdog in the best book, because it’s about real events that actually happened. Best Score: David Hein and Irene Sankoff, Come From Away Dave Malloy, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 Tim Minchin, Groundhog Day Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, Dear Evan Hansen Okay so everyone in this category is extremely talented, and I wish that I could do this post without calling a clear winner, but then there wouldn’t be a point to it. I’m giving the score to Dear Evan Hansen because I mean have you heard that score? I love the music and the lyrics of that score so much. It’s raw and it’s real and I think that this is what will help it win this category. I love the score to The Great Comet as well, and I think that they could pull out a win. Most of the shows have a very serious tone, but Groundhog Day on the opposite end of the spectrum is a very fun score overall, and I think that they could pull out a win as the underdog. Dear Evan Hansen, You Will Be Found performance from Today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNf99gbrotY! Best Revival of a Musical Falsettos Hello, Dolly! Miss Saigon Falsettos Preview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSev5wZKQ2k. I think this has a chance, and not because I don’t know much about the others shows. I really think that of these three that this is going to be the one that wins because I think everything about the production will help it pull out a win. Best Leading Actor in a Musical Christian Borle, Falsettos Josh Groban, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 Andy Karl, Groundhog Day David Hyde Pierce, Hello, Dolly Ben Platt, Dear Evan Hansen. Ben Platt is giving his heart and soul on that stage as Evan. He is acting with such emotion up there, not to say that the others in the category are not, but in my opinion, he is doing it the best. I could see Josh Groban pulling out a win because again he is acting with emotion in his role as Pierre. Best Leading Actress in a Musical. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OL6GLr3k_Vo No One Else music video Denee Benton, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 Christine Ebersole, War Paint Patti LuPone, War Paint Bette Midler, Hello, Dolly! Eva Noblezada, Miss Saigon I would love for Denee to come out with a win for her role as Natasha. She is playing Natasha and making the role her own, and she is singing with such emotion. Jessie Mueller the underdog pulled out a win a few years ago, and I would love to see is happen for Denee. Yes she is the youngest, and this is her Broadway debut but I think she has what it takes to come out on the top of this category. Best Featured Actor in a Musical Gavin Creel, Hello, Dolly! Mike Faist, Dear Evan Hansen Andrew Rannells, Falsettos Lucas Steele, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 Brandon Uranowitz, Falsettos A controversial choice I know, but if you listen to the cast recording I think you will hear that Andrew could win this. He sings his role as Whizzer Brown with such raw emotion and this was a new sort of a role for him, and I think he did it well. Lucas Steele is a cast member that steals the show as Anatole, and I think that he could pull out a win here if Andrew doesn’t get the win. Lucas is one that is singing, dancing, and playing the violin all in the same song in the show. Best Featured Actress in a Musical. Wild card Kate Baldwin, Hello, Dolly! Stephanie J. Block, Falsettos Jenn Colella, Come From Away Rachel Bay Jones, Dear Evan Hansen Mary Beth Peil, Anastasia Now I had a clear winner picked for this category but I changed my mind upon thought. I think that everyone in this category brings something new to the table, and I think that it is tough to pick just one clear winner. I could go to Stephanie J Block for her performance as Trina. It could go to Jenn Colella for her show-stopping number “Me and the Sky”. I could see Rachel Bay Jones getting it for her heartbreaking performance as Heidi Hansen. Scenic Design of a Musical Mimi Lien, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 Rob Howell, Groundhog Day David Korins, War Paint Mimi Lien, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 Santo Loquasto, Hello, Dolly! Mimi Lien designed something special at the Imperial Theater where The Great Comet is playing. I think that she has it in the bag just because of what she did, and how she designed the set. She needed to make sure that people could be sitting on parts of her set, and that they wouldn’t take away from what was happening on stage, or from the rest of the set. Best Costume Design of a Musical Linda Cho, Anastasia Santo Loquasto, Hello, Dolly! Paloma Young, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 Catherine Zuber War Paint Giving this one to Anastasia. What Lind Cho did with those costumes I find really extraordinary, I could also see War Paint winning this one. Best Lighting Design of a Musical Howell Binkley, Come From Away. The Cast of Come From Away performs Welcome To The Rock. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p8JI70eXjG8 Natasha Katz, Hello, Dolly! Bradley King, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 Japhy Weideman, Dear Evan Hansen Honestly, I didn’t know who I should give this one to so I just put Come From Away as my pick so I could get them on this post. I know that I a terrible reason, but I haven’t seen the show so I don’t know what they do with the lighting in the show. This show could be the underdog in this category. Best Choreography Andy Blankenbuehler, Bandstand Peter Darling and Ellen Kane, Groundhog Day Kelly Devine, Come From Away Denis Jones, Holiday Inn, The New Irving Berlin Musical Sam Pinkleton, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 Going with The Great Comet because I love the way that the movements are so intertwined I have never seen this show either, but what they did on The Today Show was amazing. The dancing in what I have seen in this show I love. I could also see Bandstand taking this just from that lift that they have Laura Osnes do, and all of the swing movements. Best Direction of a Musical Christopher Ashley, Come From Away Rachel Chavkin, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 Michael Greif, Dear Evan Hansen Matthew Warchus, Groundhog Day Jerry Zaks, Hello, Dolly! Lots of great directors up for this category. I would love to see Michael take it because direction is a big part of what makes a show, and he is doing some amazing things with Dear Evan Hansen. I could see Rachel taking it for what she is doing with The Great Comet, but I think this one belongs to Michael. Best Orchestrations Bill Elliot and Greg Anthony Rassen, Bandstand Larry Hochman, Hello, Dolly! Alex Lacamoire, Dear Evan Hansen Dave Malloy, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 Finally this one I think that Dave has it which might be another controversial pick here. I pick him because he knows how to write a great song, and I think his talent for writing will help him win. I could also see Dear Evan Hansen taking it, because I love those orchestrations as well, but I think this belong to Dave. From the moment I heard the first chords of the prologue, I thought to myself, “this will win best orchestrations someday. |

Come From Away\nDear Evan Hansen\nGroundhog Day\nNatasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812.\n\nWith the core four in this category, it’s tough to pick a real winner here. Come From Away is very real, and I think this could be what gives them the win in this category.\n\nBest Book\nDavid Hein and Irene Sankoff, Come From Away\nSteven Levenson, Dear Evan Hansen\nDave Malloy, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812\nDanny Rubin, Groundhog Day\n\nThe best book is another wild card, there are many wild cards among the nominees this year, but overall this is what I was expecting in this category. \nBest Score: David Hein and Irene Sankoff, Come From Away\nDave Malloy, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812\nTim Minchin, Groundhog Day\nBenj Pasek and Justin Paul, Dear Evan Hansen\n\nOkay so everyone in this category is extremely talented, and I wish that I could do this post without calling a clear winner, but then there wouldn’t be a point to it. I’m giving the score to Dear Evan Hansen because I mean have you heard that score? I love the music and the lyrics of that score so much. It’s raw and it’s real and I think that this is what will help it win this category. I love the score to The Great Comet as well, and I think that they could pull out a win. Most of the shows have a very serious tone, but Groundhog Day on the opposite end of the spectrum is a very fun score overall, and I think that they could pull out a win as the underdog.\n\nDear Evan Hansen, You Will Be Found performance from Today. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HNf99gbrotY! \n\nBest Revival of a Musical\nFalsettos\nHello, Dolly! \nMiss Saigon\n\nFalsettos Preview https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSev5wZKQ2k.\n I think this has a chance, and not because I don’t know much about the others shows. I really think that of these three that this is going to be the one that wins because I think everything about the production will help it pull out a win.\n Best Leading Actor in a Musical\nChristian Borle, Falsettos\nJosh Groban, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812\nAndy Karl, Groundhog Day\nDavid Hyde Pierce, Hello, Dolly\nBen Platt, Dear Evan Hansen.\n\n Ben Platt is giving his heart and soul on that stage as Evan. He is acting with such emotion up there, not to say that the others in the category are not, but in my opinion, he is doing it the best. I could see Josh Groban pulling out a win because again he is acting with emotion in his role as Pierre. \nBest Leading Actress in a Musical. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OL6GLr3k_Vo No One Else music video\nDenee Benton, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812\nChristine Ebersole, War Paint\nPatti LuPone, War Paint\nBette Midler, Hello, Dolly! \nEva Noblezada, Miss Saigon\n\nI would love for Denee to come out with a win for her role as Natasha. She is playing Natasha and making the role her own, and she is singing with such emotion. Jessie Mueller the underdog pulled out a win a few years ago, and I would love to see is happen for Denee. Yes she is the youngest, and this is her Broadway debut but I think she has what it takes to come out on the top of this category.\n\nBest Featured Actor in a Musical\nGavin Creel, Hello, Dolly! \nMike Faist, Dear Evan Hansen\nAndrew Rannells, Falsettos\nLucas Steele, Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812\nBrandon Uranowitz, Falsettos\n\nA controversial choice I know, but if you listen to the cast recording I think you will hear that Andrew could win this. \n Best Featured Actress in a Musical. Wild card\nKate Baldwin, Hello, Dolly! \nStephanie J. Block, Falsettos\nJenn Colella, Come From Away\nRachel Bay Jones, Dear Evan Hansen\nMary Beth Peil, Anastasia\nNow I had a clear winner picked for this category but I changed my mind upon thought. I think that everyone in this category brings something new to the table, and I think that it is tough to pick just one clear winner. I could go to Stephanie J Block for her performance as Trina. It could go to Jenn Colella for her show-stopping number “Me and the Sky”. | body | I would also like my post to be seen more, but for me it;s just so I can interact with more people here. I would also like to know what to improve on when it comes to my blog. I try and create content that I think people will be interested in, anyway I only tag what is relevant to the post. Sure, I might not get any reviews and I probably won't but I find that it is best to remain true to the post. |

| title | My Fangirl Life |
| body | I wanted to make this blog post about my fandoms, and my life as a fangirl of many things and I know that the term fangirl has kind of a negative light today, but I wanted to talk about my experience of being a fan of different things. My first ever fandom was probably Gilmore Girls, but back when the show was on there wasn’t much of a way to interact with fans that were into the same show as you. With social media, and blogs now people are finding ways to interact with people today. With the addition fan art, fan fiction, and fans posting Meta about their favorite characters on the shows that they love fandoms are more active than ever before. Today being a part of a fandom is like being a part of a family, and the people on the shows that you love are interacting with you as you watch the show. The best thing about fandom for me is the others that watch the same shows that you do, and the fact that you can interact with other people as well as share your theories about the show. The biggest fandom that I am a part of, and the one that I am most thankful for as it has brought so many online friends into my life and I am so thankful for them. This fandom would be the Broadway/Theatre fandom and in this fandom most of us talk about the shows that we love, and we share our experiences together. We are kind of like a giant family in the Broadway/Theatre fandom, and I love that about us as a fandom we also share our art and a skills with each other. The way I met the most people in this fandom is from the social media platform Tumblr, and the Broadwaynetwork on that website. When I joined Tumblr I was just a girl with a blog, and I wanted to interact with other people that loved Broadway/Theatre as much as I did I met a few people online, but I wanted to interact with as many people as I could. A few years ago when networks that were a way for people to connect with one another on Tumblr became popular, I applied to join the Broadway network not sure if I would get in or not due to the amount of applications, and the fact that my blog was not just a theatre blog. I have met people, and I have really enjoyed getting to know them and learning more about them I have also enjoyed having them a part of my life. The second area of my life in fandoms is the TV shows I watch, and I am not as active in these fandoms because I can’t make fan art, and I don’t feel like I could write the fan fiction as well as the authors that are very popular. I consider myself a general fan of the TV shows I watch, and I do this by rebloging a lot of different things, keeping up with the cast on social media and occasionally posting an opinion about what is going on with the show. This side of the fandom also has the ship wars, and I feel that these bring out the real vicious sides of people and so I try and stay as far away from this side of the fandom. These shows are: Once Upon A Time, Supergirl, Doctor Who, Sherlock, The 100, The Flash, IZombie, Agents of Shield, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, and many others. I have met a few people thorough these fandoms, and I enjoy interacting with them. The third and last part of my fandom life is Webseries, these are found on youtube and they are adaptations of different novels, short stories, plays, and poems that are set in our world. I am a fan of these because I am a fan of books, and I am a fan of most adaptations so I enjoy checking out the new ones that come. My contribution to this fandom is rebloging the fan art, rebloging the fandom meta and fan theories, and interacting with other people as they watch the show as well as occasionally posting an opinion about the show. My biggest part of this fandom is Carmilla, but I am a fan of a load of different webseries. I sometimes post comments on the videos, and I sometimes interact with the cast, and the character accounts on trans media. |

| title | The 2016 Broadway season: from Alexander Hamilton through Everlasting. |
| body | The 2016 Broadway season: from Alexander Hamilton through Everlasting. The 2016 Broadway season was a show that broke some boundaries for the Broadway stage, and it was filled of both highs and lows. I know that it is only July, but I wanted to write this up now because I had some feelings that I needed to get out. I want to talk about four shows in this post, two shows that are doing very well aka a high and two shows that didn’t do so well aka a low. As you might be able to tell from the title here, two of them are Hamilton and Tuck Everlasting the other two are Waitress and Bright Star. I have not seen any of these shows, I picked them based on really loving the cast recordings and in two cases thinking that they deserved a longer life. I felt the need to add that in here so you know that is mostly judged by the music, the performances on tv, what I know about the show, and the grosses for each of these shows. I will start with the shows that were the lows, as I feel that ending this post on a high is the way to go about it. Tuck Everlasting was a show that didn’t last long at all, and I feel it is because people wrote the show off as a “kid’s show” or a family show and not a show that told a story, and a timeless story at that. People I feel didn’t see the show because they didn’t take the time to read what it was about fully, they just wrote it off as a children’s show, or a show that would be filled with kids and they didn’t want to see that. There was nothing really ground breaking about this show, and that might be one of the reasons that people didn’t go to see the show. They couldn’t get tickets to Hamilton, and so they went back to an older show or a show that has been around for a while rather than seeing something new and exciting. Tuck Everlasting seems like it was a fun show, maybe not a show that people would say had music that you remembered or music that you would walk out of the theatre singing but it seemed like it was fun. My favorite song from the show is Everlasting, and if you listen to this song and you like it you can still buy the Original Cast Recording on CD or digitally on Itunes. Bright Star was a show that lasted a little longer than Tuck Everlasting did, but I still feel like the time of this show on Broadway was cut short, due to people not seeing the show and not selling tickets they couldn’t keep it open. Eddie Brickwell, and Steve Martin who wrote the music and the lyrics of the show invested their own money into the show because they believed in the show, and they wanted to see the show get to the Tonys. I don’t blame Hamilton for the shows closing, but I am saying that if the show had opened any other year maybe it could have done better and maybe it would still be opened today. A show doesn’t get Tony nominations in multiple categories everything from the music of the show, to the female lead of the show for nothing. I feel that this is a beautiful show, and this is just from the music as they’re careful about not saying much about the plot on the cast recording. I thought this from the moment I listened to the Original Broadway Cast Recording for the first time, and to this day I firmly believe this. I would love to see this show go on tour, so that more people can experience this brilliant show live. This show didn’t have that many things that were that ground breaking in it, but the story of the show that was based on true events, and the music of the show is bluegrass and a more classic sound than modern shows these days, and I feel that this was a ground breaking thing. The thing about this shows music is that I can’t pick a favorite song from this show, as the answer would be most of the songs from this show. If you want to hear some music from this show I would start with The Sun Is Going to Shine Again, or for a more light hearted number I would recommend Another Round if you like these the Cast Recording is available. Waitress is a show that is doing very well right now, and this I feel is a good thing for this show because I want to see this show do well. The thing about this show I feel is the journey, I get this from just listening to the Original Broadway Cast Recording over and over for the past few months. This is show that is filled with fun numbers, and some very serious numbers just like Bright Star was and I love that about this show the variety. With music and lyrics by Sara Barellies It like Hamilton brought people to the theatre to see the show, or it got them to support the show by buying the Original Broadway Cast Recording. Once again this show had a lot of Tony nominations this year, and you don’t get that many Tony nominations for nothing. My favorite song from this show is She Used To Be Mine, this is one of the more serious songs in the show that comes in towards the end of the show. Hamilton is the show that everyone is talking about, and the show that everyone wants to see this year with presales booked into next year this show is a phenomenon. I feel that this show is so popular because it is something that hasn’t been done before it combines history and rap, and it is teaching kids about the history of our country. This show has a lot of things about it that are ground breaking, but the thing that I feel is the most ground breaking is the fact that it is a show that is largely people of color, because that is the way that Lin wanted it. I also feel that this show is so popular is because it is a show by Lin Manuel Miranda, who had a following from his smash hit musical In the Heights. Hamilton won a lot of Tonys this year, and to the credit of the cast and the creative team they deserved every single award they’ve received, and they deserve all of the success I just wish that the awards could have been spread around more. My favorite song is a lot of them, but I do have a soft spot for the song Burn in the second act of the show as I love the character of Eliza. There are many ways to get involved with the Hamilton experience: getting the Cast Recording, and getting the book Hamilton: The Revolution. |

| title | The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet blog post |
| body | I'm still not sure if anyone here would like to read my reviews of things, but I wanted to post this as it was one of my first reviews that I did for pleasure and I really like it. The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennett is a book that is a modern day adaption of Jane Austen’s, Pride and Prejudice it tells the story in a unique way and makes the story that is timeless, relatable to people that in world today. “The Lizzie Bennet Diaries chronicled Lizzie’s life as a twenty-four-year-old grad student, struggling under a mountain of student loans and living at home with her two sisters—beautiful Jane Bennet and reckless Lydia Bennet.”(pemberleydigital.com) The characters that you know and love from the original book are taken out of that world, and they are recreated in our world where they live in real life and they must make their way around life as a modern day young adult. Here we see Lizzie going through what many of the target audience is going through, grad school and trying to have a life and figure out what she is going to do in the future. This book is a novel based off of the web series, The Lizzie Bennet Diaries but seeing as she is letting you into her life so to speak, we see a lot more of the finer details that we might miss through the videos, and we get a closer look at Lizzie’s thoughts on things. “Written by Bernie Su, the series’ executive producer, co-creator, head writer, and director, along with Kate Rorick, the novelist, TV writer, and consulting producer on the series, the novel features a journal-entry format and design, complementing the existing web series, while including plenty of fresh twists to delight fans and new readers alike. The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet expands on the phenomenon that captivated a generation and reimagines the Pride and Prejudice story like it’s never been done before.”(pemberleydigital.com) As a fan of both the web series which I was introduced to when they started airing three years ago I had been a little bit skeptical at first because I was not sure how well that it could be adapted to our world, and when they adapted it that they might change some of the important plot points and characters. I was delighted to find out that they had changed things yes, but they hadn’t changed anything that wasn’t absolutely necessary to the adaption and the way that they were writing the characters. They took a story that was a classic, and they modernized it putting a new spin on it and giving it to a whole new generation to enjoy. They gave the characters new meaning, and new direction which they needed to do in order for the way that they were writing the story, and the vison that they had to make sense. The writers created new and interesting challenges for the characters that you love from the original novel, and they gave them different things that they had to deal with in their own ways in their own time. It is the same things and characters that you love the original novel, only this time they are being put into our world, and you can relate to them more because you see yourself in their characteristics and personalities as well as what they had to deal with. The characters are the same in some ways, and different in some ways because they have moved into a different world than the one that they were put into when Jane Austen was writing the original novel, and it wouldn’t make sense for them to be the same way that they were in the original novel. The main Bennet sister Lizzie is described as the most intelligent, and quick witted as well as being clever and being able to converse with anyone. In the modernization of the original work Lizzie is a grad student who is working on her thesis, and in the way that they portray her in the novel you can see that they kept these traits intact with her character. Darcy in the original novel is also described as intelligent and forthright and someone who judges to harshly, making him the ideal match for Lizzie. The modernizing of the novel we see that he shares these same traits as the original character, but he owns a media company that Lizzie does her thesis for. Lydia in the original novel is described as gossipy, immature, and self-loving. In the modern version she plays more of a vocal role, she is still the same way but you see a switch when she is involved in a sex scandal with George Wickham, claiming that he will post a video of them on a website that eventually gets taken down. |

The Secret Diary of Lizzie Bennet expands on the phenomenon that captivated a generation and reimagines the Pride and Prejudice story like it’s never been done before.”(pemberleydigital.com)\n\nAs a fan of both the web series which I was introduced to when they started airing three years ago I had been a little bit skeptical at first because I was not sure how well that it could be adapted to our world, and when they adapted it that they might change some of the important plot points and characters. It is the same things and characters that you love the original novel, only this time they are being put into our world, and you can relate to them more because you see yourself in their characteristics and personalities as well as what they had to deal with.\n\nThe characters are the same in some ways, and different in some ways because they have moved into a different world than the one that they were put into when Jane Austen was writing the original novel, and it wouldn’t make sense for them to be the same way that they were in the original novel. In the modern version she plays more of a vocal role, she is still the same way but you see a switch when she is involved in a sex scandal with George Wickham, claiming that he will post a video of them on a website that eventually gets taken down.",
