| body | The only thing I agree with you on is that this HAS to be well thought out & solutions created prior, BUT I still believe in freedom. I STILL hate gov't & I don't believe for one minute that the US of A is a DEMOCRACY. In fact based on my research, it NEVER was. That's why they allowed the Fiat to be created in order to start a society where they could control what people make, spend, how they can spend it, etc. If I'm not mistaken, they even outlawed gold, silver & other forms of currency. It's a police state controlled by criminals in the gov't who PROTECT the EVILS of the world. It's been like even shortly after its inception. If you can't see that, you don't have your eyes WIDE open & you haven't studied enough. You aren't going to learn this from mainstream propaganda. Even so called politicians who mean well when getting into politics are either very naive about the EVIL game that is played, or they think they can actually MAKE a difference. Once they start, they either lose any kind of election as they get further along, or once in power they are blackmailed, threatened (including their family) or they become the evil they claim to be different from. And we CAN'T just talk about the American gov't, this is a world wide systemic problem. I would have watched your videos, but since they are from Harvard, I wouldn't bother. Harvard creates MANY of the EVIL people of the world being that it's an Ivy League school. |

| body | There is an old Quote by Emanuel Kant : >Skepticism is a resting-place for human reason, where it can reflect upon its dogmatic wanderings and make survey of the region in which it finds itself, so that for the future it may be able to choose its path with more certainty. But it is no dwelling-place for permanent settlement. Such can be obtained only through perfect certainty in our knowledge, alike of the objects themselves and of the limits within which all our knowledge of objects is enclosed, Here is the part where self ownership and john Locke are discussed in real life situations: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGyygiXMzRk&list=PL30C13C91CFFEFEA6&index=4 here is the part where basic libertarian principles and taxation are discussed. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VcL66zx_6No&list=PL30C13C91CFFEFEA6&index=8 but i still suggest you to watch the whole debate series, it does not endorse any philosophy in particular, it just puts all of them up for debate among students and tests them in real life situations. I am sorry if my last comment has offended you in any way. i was just trying to say that we ought to put all theories to test in real life situations and keep questioning them Before Reaching to the Decision about any particular theory. And it even takes more diligence when we start to pitch those theories to other people. If you intend to stick with your philosophy for life and further spread it. Be ready to read through any book, theory, questions or whatever some idiot throws at you and learn your opposition better. And most importantly to accept all criticism with warmth. that helps in converting a non-Believer. Democracy was also devised to give power to the people as a concept. Nothing is Good or Bad. It is us, who make anything good or bad, hell or heaven. Even Good, bad, hell, heaven they all are subjective. to declare any philosophy best above all, you need to judge many things for other people that i learned from a fellow steemian @joeyarnoldvn who commented on my intro post and made me realize a whole new dimension and calm my anger a bit, be ready to learn and get surprised that is the essence of life. always look for those who disagree with you. | body | I respect your direction, it's a huge learning curve here and when you add that to the investment side of it, it's a stressful experience on how to handle things correctly when you are still learning. I am on discord and steem chat not so at least I have people to ask, but this took a lot of time to figure out. I bought thousands of dollars in steem and powered up most of it but saw the opportunity with bots to try what was in front of me, only now am I seeing opinions of others. I will look into Curie and PAL as I would like some real votes, sad thing was when I wasn't using bots I would get comments from people who could have given me a nice vote but instead upvoted themselves in my comments, what a waste...even more so than a bot is what I thought, I will get my own votes. As you can see I try and upvote people who have no SP at all on here as I know how hard it is. I appreciate you taking the time to help me out and I will do my best to be a responsible steemian. Thank you for removing my shit award )) |

| body | thanks for your touching reply, i deleted my comment. however i will still request you to use the bots less often , we are handing over domination to these bots or banks, whatever you call them. they are the main cause we are getting more and more shitposts on steemit and after all that, their owners claim that they are fighting scam. i hate them because they are selling something which is not theirs to sell in the first place. even in the real world selling your opinion is considered a shame and that is exactly what these bots are doing. i suggest you look for gathering more followers organically, by being active in communities like Curie, PAL etc. and believe me the followers that you will add that way, will never need you to promote your posts again in order to give upvotes to you. i am sure after reading you in this comment that you are exceptional writer who may not need these bots altogether. i am happy to learn that you care about long term success of this platform but handing over your money to these bots will do nothing to save this platform, instead it is pushing steemit towards getting obliviated. I suggest you buy steem directly or get a big delegation from the money you are investing and power up yourself, your upvotes on other user posts are going to be a much better magnet towards attracting followers and upvotes than these bots. |

| body | I read your intro on your page, I understand ,.. you said explain myself to remove this comment. I invested all the cash I have in the world on this platform since November, I powered most of my steem up but realized nobody was even looking at my blog. My intention was to power everything up anyways so why not attract some followers with high rewards, after all this is who I was noticing on steemit as a newbie and wondering what the hell was going on. Little by little I started using bid bots and was getting some followers And upvoting the comments of every comment I could that upvoted my post. I wanted my steem to get converted to sp faster so I started making bigger bids on multiple bots on steembottracker to make the process faster, not necessarily to make more money but to get organic likes and it worked. I had no idea this was frowned upon by a lot of people but I am finding out it is. I never voted old posts, only new ones and didn't try and time the bid to the last minute to earn curation and I could have ... money wasn't my main objective. I tell everyone about steemit and have brought in some people and I try to help them along too and lots of followers will be exposed to their posts when I resteem them so it's win win.... none of us are posting crap, atleast I don't think I am, I always try my hardest to make quality posts and that never changes when using bots ... I spend hours on every post. I make close to $500 an hour working in my job and don't consider spending 2 or 3 hours on a post and bid bots to get organic followers worth the $50 I might end up making. I could just go work and make $1000 ... so my reasoning is pure, I want a larger following and organic votes. Every time I have extra money to spend I buy more steem. So consider removing this post, I feel you don't I understand but just so you know, I am all for the community and the long term success of steemit and indend on learning and doing the right thing, keep in mind for new people the learning curve is sharp and it takes time. |

| body | Self ownership was an idea termed by john locke, and believe me that idea has long been proven to facade and has no connections to liberty whatsoever, Actually it represents something totally opposite. i don't think you have slightest idea how systems work and what was the aim of that system in the first place. and what questions need to be asked to see the darker side of a brilliant idea. you will need to read a lot before judging and your post only looks like an unorganized rant to me. A lot of info still seems unknown to you and that is why your post looks more like an outburst. i could have suggested you some book but looking at your post i can say, you are in a hurry to reach some decisions. that is why i suggest you to watch **Justice by Michael sandel: A harward series** which is the shortest form of review you can get for every kind of philosophy by the public through questioning. if you still have some questions then maybe you can join the next session at harward to clear your doubts or put your point. finally i would like to say that it is really easy to point fingers towards the fault, Stay away from that. There is a case that can be made that Bitconnect is a security because profit sharing was promised. Ohad has never promised us any kind of profit sharing. There was no agreement that I'm aware of to get any percentage of any profit from anything Ohad does. I cannot speak for everyone but only for my own support of the Tauchain project. I consider it supporting science, and realize that the only thing promised by Ohad is to deliver functioning code. |

I think real assets only have value for the same reason financial assets do: human beings believe they have value and are willing to buy them which gives them financial value via price discovery from functioning markets. If context changes, financial value will change as well not becuase the physical asset changed, but because the belief about the usefulness of the asset changed. I don’t think fist money is much of a liability anymore with it not being backed by anything, redeemable for anything, or securing anything. With zero (or soon even negative interest rates), where does the liability come from? I’ll look into money enigma, thanks. |

| body | People are always going to make money off stupid stuff. You can try your best to try to stop them from making money for stuff that you may disagree with or things that may or may not be worth any or some or a lot of money. But how do you even determine what is more valuable and what is less valuable? That debate can take us down the path of subjectivity, relativity, progressive liberal democratic leftism and so on and so forth. Like I said before, you can try to minimize the alleged spam and crap. But is that the kind of life you want to have? Do you want to focus on being a Steem cop so to speak or would it be better to focus on the posts you do like? You can and I do not totally disagree because I kind of want to do what you do here. # I agree and I may not like some or most of what trends. # The trending posts may or may not encourage newbies to shit out junk as well, to some extent, but that is life is it not and that is what freedoms and choices is all about? How many are encouraged to play basketball all day each day for years and years and maybe too often and too much on the hope they can be in the NBA someday? That is one example. There are many examples. # Your Worst Post Badge can be rewarded to Nothing Burger Trending Posts and people may be encouraged to see that they shouldn't upvote those posts perhaps and some people will agree with you with the badges you give them or whatever you want to call them or whatever you may do and do do perhaps. So, I am not totally against what you do and try to do. I am just questioning the foundation to it and it can work maybe to some extent. It can be tough to do it depending on how you do it but it could catch on and go more viral as more people follow you to create Nothing Burger Badges or Shift Holes. # Where and how do you draw the line between what is personal or not? In capitalism, in business, you make money and you do whatever you can maybe to make money at work through services and through goods, products, etc, and that may or may not include bots it seems. Bots are part of that economical system, right? If bots are part of that, then does that make it personal or too personal? And does it matter if it is personal or not? The voting is a money thing. And money may or may not be personal but does that matter? We find ways to make money. Does that mean we deserve the money? Who decides who deserves how much money? Do I decide how much you deserve? Do you decide how much money I can get or cannot get? All of this can and might become too subjective and relative through opinions and perspectives of our views on values and principles. People believe and value things differently and therefore see some things as more valuable and other things as less valuable. Look at the auctions. Look at the antique Road Shows. People can spend thousands of dollars on paintings and old spoons and old coins and all kinds of things. If I had an original Star Wars item from 1977 or around that time and somebody buys that item for $8,000 USD, you might want to give me a Stupid Badge maybe and you could say I do not serve thousands of dollars for one small item. Like maybe a metal Star Wars lunch box from the 1970's or something assuming there were some. And assuming you are not a big fan of Star Wars. But this is just an example of how something could be considered maybe priceless as a masterpiece or maybe not as art and beauty is in the eye of the beholder. # I believe in making a lot of money even on the top of other people. And that can appear to be scary and ugly and not fair. There might be a difference between taking bribes and asking for bribes. And it also may depend on how you define the word "Bribe" as well. I say, let it be. Each person is responsible for who they may or may not vote for. And if a thousand people vote for a Nothing Burger Post to make the payout $800 USD for example, then maybe it is the fault of each voter, each upvoter, rather than the fault of the Original Poster (OP), the poster, the author, the writer, the content creator. Yeah, maybe the creator sucks too but each user has some voting power and has the right to waste and to even vote up themselves as well. And yeah, people can vote up crap. That is what people do. They have the right to do that but can be wrong in it. I agree that they might be wrong in doing so but it is part of life and the pursuit of happiness and humans are lost in depravity as well. And George Soros is a scary man. http://DrudgeReport.com # |

But this is just an example of how something could be considered maybe priceless as a masterpiece or maybe not as art and beauty is in the eye of the beholder.\n#\nI believe in making a lot of money even on the top of other people. And that can appear to be scary and ugly and not fair. There might be a difference between taking bribes and asking for bribes. And it also may depend on how you define the word \"Bribe\" as well. And George Soros is a scary man.\nhttp://DrudgeReport.com \n#\n",

| body | Thanks for reading through the post and giving your detailed insight, the first two comments were already spam, the guys did not even read what i was saying in the first place. they just upvoted and left an automated comment. Now coming to the discussion i would like to state that i am an objectivist and reason is my guiding light. i have no problem if someone posts stupid things, i have problem when those stupid things are rewarded with a shitload of money and that stupid work gets advertised in trending section. Communism is the kind of system where people compete for being lousy. i used communism word because similarly in our case, if people are earning thousands of dollars for posting shit then why the new users on steemit or even the existing one will want to create anything apart from shitposts like that. Coming to your next point, i think conspiracy theories that you pointed as well as the control thing is merely an illusion whether on our part or government's part. governments and centralization have not fallen from sky, it is us who brought them upon ourselves, democracy was also thought of as giving power to the people but see for yourself how we did with that. you complaining about centralization in democracy already says a lot how well that system has worked. so nothing is good or bad, good or bad is something we decide to make of it. i do not agree with perceiving AI or any new technology as threat and that blockchain people are trying to overtake AI, on the contrary i think a collaboration between both these two is imminent in future, that will be good or bad based how we decide to use it. I agree with having lights does no harm and you can even add some fireworks, but if you decide to add a real bomb in your celebration after getting really high, then that might be too much, and i think i deserve to complain before dying from the bomb. Further i would like to point that votes are not like disco lights at all, they were not meant to be sold and should never be. the vote value is counted as personal that is my issue. only the curation money that a voter or SP Holder receives is his right and nothing more according to the design of steemit. thinking that having larger vote value entitles you a payout for voting is similar to a politician asking for bribe every time he decides to do some public service, and he will vote on any proposal in parliament provided he has been paid for voting. The more you treat votes as disco lights, more you are going to project steemit as a system which has already been gamed by its users and days will be near when the dollars being showed up on posts mean no value, no matter how many digits get printed there. finally i will say that you are free to swing you stick on the road with all your freedom but only to the point where someones nose starts. |
