      "body": "The author of an explosive new book on Donald Trump’s White House has defended his reporting and said the president’s threat of legal action is only boosting sales.\n\nMichael Wolff, who wrote the highly controversial Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, was responding to the US leader’s claims that the book was “full of lies”.\n\nDiscussing the president’s response on NBC’s Today show on Friday, Mr Wolff hit back by saying: “Not only is he helping me sell books, but he’s helping me prove the point of the book.\n\n“I mean, this is extraordinary that a president of the United States would try to stop the publication of a book.       "body": "https://static.independent.co.uk/s3fs-public/styles/article_small/public/thumbnails/image/2017/11/22/23/trump-soho-hotel.jpg\nA presitigious New York hotel is dropping Donald Trump's name from its title.\n\nOnce one of the prize properties in the US President's real estate empire, The Trump Organization said that it is ending its licensing deal with The Trump SoHo hotel, amid reports that the property has struggled to attract business.\nThe company owned by Mr Trump said that it has signed a deal with the owners of the hotel and residential tower to end management of the property and the use of the Trump name. The announcement comes as the company's other hotels and resorts around the world are showing mixed results.\n\nThe tower in the hip, touristy Manhattan neighbourhood of SoHo has been the source of controversy and trouble for years.\n\nOne of its original backers turned out to be a businessman convicted in a Mafia-linked stock fraud scheme. Later, Mr Trump's three oldest children were alleged to have defrauded buyers of condominiums in the building in a case that was settled in 2011.\n\nLast month, a New York City prosecutor who had dropped a probe sparked by the fraud suit returned a $32,000 (£24,000) campaign contribution from a lawyer who represented the Trump Organization in the investigation. The prosecutor said the contribution had no impact on his decision to drop the probe.\n\nThere have also been signs of business trouble recently at the Trump SoHo. Its sushi restaurant closed earlier this year, and The New York Times has reported a drop in room rates at the hotel and slow sales of condos in the residential part of the building.\n\nA number of Basketball teams recently boycotted the hotel including the Le Bron James' Cleveland Cavaliers.\n\nThe president's company said it would have no comment beyond its news release announcing the move. We believe in mobile power or M-power to empower our citizens.”\n\nThe Prime Minister said financial inclusion through Jan Dhan Yojna, unique identification through Aadhaar and mobile phones have helped to reduce corruption and bring in transparency in the country.\nHe listed Jan Dhan Bank accounts, Aadhaar and mobile phones as three factors (as JAM trinity) that helped the government to better its subsidies delivery and plugging leaks to the tune of around $10 billion so far.\n\nThe first edition of GCCS was held in London in 2011 and since then it has travelled to Budapest (2012), Seoul (2013) and the Hague (2015).\n\nSri Lankan Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe in his address to the inaugural ceremony batted for net neutrality in order to ensure a robust and transparent internet with access for all.\n\n“My govt is determined to ensure a fair internet regime,” said that Sri Lankan PM, adding that he was also against forced or state-ordered shutdown of the internet.\n\nRegarding India’s IT talent pool, Modi said: “Indian IT talent has been recognised worldwide.
