      "body": "Ah, March. What a perfect opportunity to draw parallels between springtime flowers blooming and beautiful blockchain projects likewise blossoming and thriving. Well, maybe it’s not the best analogy, but you get the point.\n\nThe crypto space is developing at a fever pace, and we aim to do the work of researching projects that are especially active so that you can get in on the excitement. Let’s not waste any time. Without any further ado, here are 5 cryptocurrency projects that we’ll be keeping a close eye on in March.\n\n1. Ethereum Classic and Callisto\n\nExclusive Interview with Ethereum Classic\nWe’ll get the obvious pick out of the way first. As many of you may already know, there will be a new cryptocurrency being airdropped to holders of Ethereum Classic (ETC) at block 5,500,000 – which is estimated to occur on March 5, 2018.\n\nThe new coin is called Callisto (CLO). The aim of the project is to incentivize users to hold coins, thus creating a decentralized store of value as a result. This is done through a concept called cold staking. The simple explanation of cold staking is that it is used to pay dividends to participants who hold coins without requiring them to do anything else. In other words, there is no voting requirement to earn the rewards, nor is there a requirement to run a node. Just hold and you’ll earn interest.\n\nWith Ethereum being the dominant platform for dapp development, Ethereum Classic’s role is supposed to be more geared towards store of value. However, there is currently no incentive to hold ETC beyond pure speculation. Callisto will be a good experiment to see if cold staking is an effective strategy, in which case it could be employed by Ethereum Classic itself sometime down the line.\n\nIf you were paying attention during some of the other notable hardforks and airdrops in the cryptocurrency space, then you know there is a potential for pumps to occur. Of course, nothing is guaranteed. But based on Ethereum Classic’s strong upward price trend throughout February, this is a must-watch coin in early March for anybody who actively trades cryptocurrencies.\n\n2. SelfKey\n\n\nThe purpose of SelfKey is to give individuals and companies full ownership and control of their digital identities.\n\nChances are that you have a lot of sensitive personal data stored on centralized databases. Most of the time, those databases hold up to attacks and your data is protected. But all centralized databases are vulnerable to some degree, and that means that your data is too. That’s been made especially clear by the recent hacks of FedEx,  Uber, and, of course, Equifax.\n\nSelfKey is a self-sovereign identity ecosystem that enables citizens to protect their freedom, privacy, and wealth. Through SelfKey’s Identity Wallet, individuals and companies are able to securely manage their digital identities. On top of that, SelfKey makes the “Know Your Customer” (KYC) norms followed by financial and government institutions quick and painless for users through a simple KYC onboarding process.\n\nImportantly, all of your personal data and documents are stored locally on your device and not on a SelfKey server or on the blockchain. The only time that your data is accessible is when you choose to share it with a trusted institution.\n\nCryptocurrency investors who participate in token sales can especially benefit from using the SelfKey Identity Wallet, as sending ETH and identity documentation can be done with a single click. Additionally, the SelfKey marketplace can be used to apply for passports, claim citizenship through investment, create a bank account, submit residency applications, and more.\n\nThe month of February was very eventful for SelfKey, including new partnerships with banks in the Dutch Antilles and Cayman Islands as well as the alpha release of the SelfKey marketplace. That’s on top of the SelfKey–Polymath partnership that was announced at the end of January. With Identity Wallet support for cryptocurrency transactions coming before the end of Q1, March is shaping up to be another strong month for the project.\n\n3. Decred\n\n\nUnless you actively participate in the Decred community, it’s likely that you don’t hear much about the project. Decred’s leaders and developers have always been focused more heavily on sound engineering than marketing.\n\nDecred was founded by former Bitcoin developers with the mission of solving the problem of blockchain governance. The Bitcoin Cash and canceled SegWit 2X hardforks in 2017 were the culmination of years of debate and fracturing among the Bitcoin community, and the Decred team experienced firsthand the problems with decentralized blockchain governance while working on Bitcoin.\n\nWith Decred’s community-based governance model, updates to the blockchain protocol are determined by everyone who has a stake in Decred, not just the development team. So far, this self-governance strategy has been extremely successful.\n\n\n \nStill, one can’t help but make comparisons between Decred and Bitcoin. That was especially true in the past week as the co-owner of Bitcoin.org, Cobra, wrote an open letter to the Bitcoin community suggesting that Bitcoin’s proof-of-work algorithm should be changed to a hybrid proof-of-work and proof-of-stake system.\n\nThe letter was met with a lot of resistance by prominent figures who see a change to Bitcoin’s PoW at this stage in the game as incredibly dangerous. However, what makes it relevant to Decred is that the hybrid solution Cobra described is essentially the mining system that Decred already employs.\n\nThe Decred team built the project to solve the problems that it saw coming down the line for Bitcoin, and so far that’s exactly what it’s done. While Bitcoin’s community was consumed by hostility and its fees were climbing to unprecedented heights, Decred was quietly building one of the strongest projects with one of the strongest communities in the cryptocurrency space.\n\nUltimately, whether the concerns voiced by Cobra in his letter come to fruition for Bitcoin in the future or not, the real message that letter sent is that there are too many people sleeping on Decred. March is the perfect month to wake up.\n\nOne other recent event worth mentioning is Decred’s release of their 2018 roadmap. The release covered updates on scaling solutions including Lightning Network as well as a mention of ramping up marketing efforts in 2018, to name just a few things. It’s definitely worth a look for anybody who wants to get involved with the project!\n\n4. CEDEX\n\n\nCEDEX is building the first ever decentralized diamond exchange on top of Ethereum’s blockchain and smart contract technology.\n\nFor anybody who doesn’t know much about diamonds, that might not sound like a big deal. The reality, though, is that this project is aiming to completely revolutionize the diamond market and unlock hundreds of billions of dollars worth of unrealized potential.\n\nThere are three big problems that have long been holding the diamond market back: a lack of transparency, lack of standardization, and lack of liquidity. As a result, diamonds have not been a good choice for general investors, despite their historical price stability. In fact, a typical diamond holder who wants to resell their stones normally faces a loss of 30–50% of the fair market value.\n\nCEDEX has developed a proprietary machine learning algorithm – the DEX – which is able to price diamonds coherently and transparently with an accuracy above 99.5%. The DEX replaces human diamond appraisers and creates a significantly higher level of standardization in pricing than has ever been possible before.\n\nAfter being evaluated by the DEX, diamonds can be listed on the blockchain-based exchange. Along with smart contracts, blockchain technology makes all diamond pricing and transactions fully transparent and trustless. Through those solutions, CEDEX enables peer-to-peer diamond exchanges between general investors at fair market value, injecting new liquidity into the market.\n\nIn the past, many have tried and failed to make diamonds a publicly tradable asset. CEDEX appears poised to finally break through the obstacles that have been holding the asset back for so long. If they succeed, this could easily become one of the biggest cryptocurrencies out there.\n\nRegistration is open for the CEDEX Coin token pre-sale, which begins on March 16, 2018. To learn more about CEDEX, you can visit their website and read the project whitepaper or lightpaper.\n\n5. Stratis\n\n\nStratis is an enterprise-grade blockchain-as-a-service (BaaS) platform. In other words, it’s like an Ethereum specifically geared towards businesses.\n\nUnlike Ethereum and many other BaaS platforms, Stratis didn’t create a new programming language. Instead, development on Stratis can be done in C# programming language and within the Microsoft .NET framework. That makes Stratis a more accessible platform for the average company that doesn’t employ any blockchain developers.\n\nAfter announcing new partnerships with the automotive marketplace platform Gluon and the strong developer community C# Corner in January, Stratis followed it up by adding Microsoft Regional Director and CEO of Mindcracker Inc. Mahesh Chand to the project team at the end of February.\n\nAll of that being said, the reason we’re watching Stratis closely in March is that this is a critical month for the project to address some dissatisfaction within its community. While the updated development roadmap mentioned some encouraging progress – including a full node GUI mainnet beta release and development of the ICO platform – many Stratis holders have been feeling frustrated by the project’s pace of development, lack of marketing, and poor communication with the community.\n\nBlockchain projects certainly can’t be built overnight. Stratis is one of the best projects out there on paper, but community sentiment and support are also important factors. If the Stratis team makes some moves to increase communication and spread more awareness about the project, it can certainly put in a strong finish to Q1 and an even better performance in Q2. We’ll be rooting for it from the sidelines, and we look forward to the impact it will have on the crypto markets as things progress.",

In the Philippines, due to limited resources of toys of Filipino children, they usually come up on inventing games without the need of anything but the players themselves. With the flexibility of a real human to think and act makes the game more interesting and challenging. Because it is a tradition for Filipinos to play in a bigger and spacious area, most games are usually played outside the house. Some games are played or held during town fiestas in the provinces. These games of Filipino children include the following:\n\n\nAgawan Base\n\nThere are two teams with two bases. How many players on each team depends on the players. There are two bases which each team claims as their own. The goal is to tag the other team's base without getting tagged. If you're tagged, you're transferred to the other team and must be rescued. There are several variations in which the rules are changed, in some, you can connect other items on the base so you can easily touch the base.There are usually set points, such as first team to tag the other team 5 times wins. You can tag other people who has touched their base before you and are on the opposite team. Each pair then does a hand clapping \"routine\" while singing the \"bahay kubo.\" At the middle of the song, each pair exchanges \"routines\" with the other.\n\nBati-Cobra\n\nThis is a hitting and catching game. This game is played outdoors only by two or more players.\n\nTo play this game, 2 pieces of bamboo sticks (1 long, 1 short) are required. A player acts as a batter and stands opposite the others players at a distance. The batter holds the long bamboo stick with one hand and tosses the short one with the other hand. The batter then strikes the shorter stick with the longer stick. The other players will attempt to catch the flying shorter stick. Whoever catches the stick gets the turn to be the next batter. If nobody catches the stick, any player can pick it up. The batter then puts down the longer stick on the ground. The holder of the shorter stick will throw it with the attempt to hit the longer stick on the ground. If the longer stick is hit, the hitter becomes the next Batter. If the player with the shorter stick misses to hit the longer one, the same batter will continue.\n\nBulong-Pari\n\n- whisper it to the priest - It is composed of two teams and an it. The leader of team A goes to the priest and whispers one of the names of the players of team B. Then he returns to his place and the priest calls out, \"Lapit!\" (\"Approach!\"). One of the players of team B should approach the priest, and if it happens to be the one whom the leader of team A mentioned, the priest will say, \"Boom\" or \"Bung!\" The player then falls out of line and stays somewhere near the priest as a prisoner.\n\nBuwan-Buwan\n\nA rough circle is drawn on the ground and one person from the group is tagged. He is not allowed to enter the circle, but instead has to touch one of the people inside the circle without having entered it. If he succeeds, he can enter the circle, and the person touched becomes the next one tagged.\nCalahoyo (\"Hole-in\")\nThis is an outdoor game by two to ten players. Accurate targeting is the skill developed in this game because the objective of each player is to hit the anak (small stones or objects) with the use of the pamato (big, flat stone), trying to send it to the hole.\n\nA small hole is dug in the ground, and a throwing line is drawn opposite the hole (approx 5 to 6 metres (16 to 20 ft) away from the hole). A longer line is drawn between the hole and the throweing line. Each player has a pamato and an anak. All the anak are placed on the throwing line, and players try to throw their pamato into the hole from the throwing line. The Player whose pamato is in the hole or nearest the hole will have the chance for the first throw. Using the pamato, the first thrower tries to hit the anak, attempting to send it to the hole. Players take turns in hitting their anak until one of them gets into the hole, with the players taking turns a complete round and so on. The game goes on until only one anak is left outside the hole. All players who get their anak inside the hole are declared winners, while the one with the anak left outside the hole is the alila (loser) or muchacho. Alila orMuchacho will be 'punished' by all the winner/s as follows:\n\n·         Winners stand at the throwing line with their anak beyond line A-B (longer line between hole and throwing line). The winners hit their anak with their pamato. The muchacho picks up the pamato and returns it to the owner. The winners repeat throwing as the muchacho keeps on picking up and returning the pamato as punishment. Winners who fail to hit their respective anak will stop throwing. The objective is to tire the loser as punishment. When all are through, the game starts again.\n\nChinese Garter\n\nTwo people hold both ends of a stretched garter horizontally while the others attempt to cross over it. The goal is to cross without having tripped on the garter. With each round, the garter's height is made higher than the previous round (the game starts with the garter at ankle-level, followed by knee-level, until the garter is positioned above the head). The higher rounds demand dexterity, and the players generally leap with their feet first in the air, so their feet cross over the garter, and they end up landing on the other side. The name literally translates to \"game of rings.\" It involves riding a horse while holding a dagger and \"catching\" rings hanging from a tree or some other structure using the dagger.\n\nJuego de Prenda\n\n- game of looking for the missing bird - There is no limit to the number of players that can play. Players sit in a circle with the leader in the middle. Each player adopts a name of a tree or flower that is given by the leader. The leader recounts the story of a lost bird that was owned by a king. He or she says, The bird of the king was lost yesterday. Did you find it, Ylang-Ylang? The player who adopted the name of the Ylang-Ylang tree at once answers that he or she has not found it, so the leader continues to ask the other trees whether the bird has hidden in them. If a player cannot answer after the third count, he or she is made to deposit a thing he or she owns to the leader until the leader has been able to gather a lot of things from the members.\n\nKapitang Bakod\n\n- touch the post, or you're it! or hold on to the fence - When the it or tagger is chosen, the other players run from place to place and save themselves from being tagged by holding on to a fence, a post, or any object made of wood or bamboo.\n\nLangit-Lupa\n\n- heaven and earth - One \"It\" chases after players who are allowed to run on level ground (lupa) and clamber over objects (langit). The \"It\" may tag players who remain on the ground, but not those who are standing in the \"langit\" (heaven). The tagged player then becomes \"It\" and the game continues.\n\nLawin at Sisiw (\"Hawk and Chicken\")\n\n\nThis game is played by 10 or more players. It can be played indoors or outdoors.\n\nOne player is chosen as the 'hawk' and another as the 'hen'. The other players are the 'chickens'. The chickens stand one behind the other, each holding the waist of the one in front. The hen stands in front of the file of chickens.\n\nThe hawk will 'buy' a chicken from the hen. The hawk will then take the chicken, asks him/her to hunt for food and goes to sleep. While the hawk is asleep, the chicken will return to the hen. The Hawk wakes up and tries to get back the chicken he bought while the hen and other chickens prevent the hawk from catching the chicken. If the hawk succeeds, the chicken is taken and punished. As soon as the can is knocked down, the prisoner must put back the tin in upright position before he can tag the any of the players attempting to recover their \"pamato\".
