Post-Steemfest Hangout w/ @soyrosa\ndaveonarrival (63) in travel •  2 days ago\n\nAfter all the fun and shenanigans of Steemfest I stayed around Krakow for a few more days to recover and get some work done. As you can hear, I was sick at this point but I wanted to go to a place that my friend recommended to me who did a pretty big Europtrip and drank a lot of hot chocolate and said that Nowa Prowincja was the best he had. It also come recommended on the local's list so we had to check it out.\n\n@soyrosa was still in Krakow as well and told me she likes chocolate so of course I invited her along. She got there well before I did so she was telling me how great it was. Yes, it is definitely worth going and getting some of this chocolatey goodness.\n\nAfterwards, we saw a Canadian restaurant around the corner that had poutine and we both expressed our love for it. It wasn't the most authentic because they just used grated cheddar instead of cheese curds but the flavors were all there. So I give it a thumbs up.\n\nGoodbye, all you wonderful Steem people that were at Steemfest. It was so sad saying goodbye.       "body": "Trying To Heal An Ear Infection With Music - Will It Work?\nnomadicsoul (67) in fun •  3 hours ago\n\nWhat’s this woo woo stuff doing on my page?!?\n\nIt’s getting’ weird up in here.\n\nI don’t consider myself woo woo.\n\nBUT… I could see how I could end up looking like I’m in that category sometimes.\n\nBecause some of my ideas aren’t in line with what “every body else says.”\n\nThat’s just because I really enjoy researching things.\n\nNERD ALERT.\n\nLong story short - I’ve been on a 10 year health journey (that has included a lot of caving into ice-cream and cookies along the way).\n\nThe past year or so, I’ve discovered that things I thought were healthy…\n\n…weren’t healthy at all.\n\nFood packaging lies big time.\n\nEven if it’s organic and has a green leaf on it.\n\nDon’t trust the leafy mask.\n\nPoint is… I research and get off on rabbit trails…\n\n…next thing ya know, I’m writing about healing my ear infection with music on steemit. 😆\n\nIt all started a few years ago when I took an essential oils class.\n\nThe teacher told us about an experiment by a guy named Something Something Emoto.\n\nHis first name isn’t “Something Something.”\n\nBut I’m too lazy to look it at up and I figure the last name should be sufficient.\n\nWhat more do you want from me?\n\nAnyway, S.S. Emoto is famous for his “water experiment.”\n\nHave you heard of it?\n\nHe spoke kind words to water and then looked at it under a microscope.\n\nThe water made really beautiful snowflake-like formations!\n\nAnd then he said bad things to the water.\n\nAnd the water looked ugly as fudge under the microscope.\n\nHe supposedly even spoke positive words to polluted water and the formations changed.\nSee? Look at this pic that I straight up jacked from the internet somewhere:\n\nHonestly, that sounds crazy and I want to run this experiment myself and see if it’s true.\n\nBut other people have done similar water experiments with music.\n\nWith healing a virus trapped in a vile with water that had music at a certain frequency played with it.\n\nI know a guy who’s been researching how to heal cancer for the past couple of years.\n\nHe lost both of his parents to cancer, so now he’s hardcore researching ways to prevent it.\n\nMusic is one of the ways that he also says can heal cancer.\n\nSo maybe there’s something to this.\n\nApparently music and positive words are both SUPER powerful.\n\nLike badass lightsaber swords.\n\nNow, I’ve used music at certain frequencies lately to help me concentrate better when working and it really does help me at least 85% of the time.\n\nSometimes I’m so distracted that even that Super Herz music can’t save me 😆.\n\nBut I think there might be something to this music thing!\n\nSo I started googling all of the things music can supposedly heal.\n\nI tried anxiety music played at a certain frequency.\n\nThere’s even a special Hertz that was supposedly played by King David in Psalms in the Bible when he just needed to chill out!\n\nSo this hertz is hard to find nowadays because all the instruments switched to 440hz which apparently isn’t the hertz of the good old days =/.\n\nAnyway.\n\nHere’s a fun lil’ nasty fact about me: I’ve had an ear infection for 3.5 years!!!\n\nIt won’t go away no matter what I do.\n\nMy newest woo woo attempt at trying to heal it is garlic and mullein oil.\n\nBut I’ve only had that for a few days so we’ll see how it goes.\n\nBut now I found some music on youtube that supposedly heals bacterial, viral, and fungal infections.\n\nSome of the reviews said the music actually helped them heal things.\n\nI have no idea if this would work or not…\n\n…but I’m going to go listen to the youtube video every night for a month or so and then update you guys on what happens!!",
