This opens up the possibility to run your own custom operating system enabling you to download/install programs and games without having to pay through things like the PS store.       "body": "You know that feeling when you know you've made the right decision and are comfortable with life? \nYeah.... that definitely wasn't how I felt with university.\n\nAll my schooling life, I had no idea what I wanted to be in the future. I am very mathematically inclined and am interested in automotive so first thing everyone would put forward to me was, DO MECHANICAL ENGINEERING!!\nSo what did I do? Exactly that.\n\nI think it was the first week of uni that I was already unsettled with University environment, the lecturers were slack and just read off their powerpoints, the whole teaching environment seemed pointless to me and so from week 2 onwards, I would skip every lecture and worked through the textbook instead (FYI: It's much better to learn through a textbook than a lecturer completely uninterested in teaching a subject)\n\nEvery day I went in I thought, \"Maybe tomorrow will be better\" or \"I'll give it a good crack and maybe I ill enjoy it more\". 3 years on, it never got better.\nI felt sick at the stomach all the time with this gut wrenching decision on what the hell I was even doing. I would just keep persisting and persevering until my mental health took a huge hit. I was forcing myself for 3 years to do something I knew I didn't want to do and my mind didn't like it. I felt depressed, lost and stuck with the massive BULLS*** of a course with no sign of light at the end of the tunnel. It was this point I knew I had to do something about it.\n\nOne day, I felt a sigh of relief, for I had finally made a decision. I had decided to finally leave University for good. It was like the angels had opened up the heavens and started singing harmonically. I had this huge urge to run around and never stop, I finally felt like myself again.\n\nYou see, we're brought up in this society where you're told to go to university after schooling, get a degree in whatever and then go work for the rest of your life. That's just not going to cut it for me, I need more than that, I can't follow a mundane common path because nothing I have ever done follows the common way of life.\nOur standard way of life isn't built to breed external thinkers, it's the ones that break off from the herd and begin to take choices into their own hands that really feel fulfilment in life.\n\nEven though I spent 3 years doing a course that wasn't for me, at an institution forced upon this generation (and ridiculous fees might I add) with very little breathing time to even think, it wasn't a waste of time.\nYou see, I had to go through this experience to realise it, to realise what else life has to offer. It's the mistakes in life that push you further to where you want to go, so long as you learn from them.It also taught me to work hard, meet deadlines and to effectively work in a team, which is very valuable regardless of career path\n\nEven though I have no degree to show for my time, I have built a stronger, wiser and happier character for myself and that is extremely important in life.\n\nAnd lastly, it has taught me that <i>Life is about choices, without them, we're just a puppet hanging  by it's strings</i>\n<center>[10_13.jpg](https://steemitimages.com/DQmXTpLpQubrVJ54HqBQSwxnyyv6NnxWKavWCpxEQqKbF4n/10_13.jpg)</center>\n\n<center><b>So where to from here? (said no-one, ever.)\n\nI know right? \n\nI've been following a lot of crypto chat and TA charts on steemit and decided that I would finally make an account so I can start commenting on people's posts with questions/opinions and also blog some of my own stuff.\nSo now to the part where I talk about me...\n\nI'm 24 years old, living in Australia and keen to get something up and going on the steemit page, it seems there's an awesome community here so I'm excited to get onboard!\nI was in the middle of a Mechanical Engineering/ Science Bachelors double degree until I decided about 6 months ago to leave it behind completely and start my life in a completely different field of gaming, crypto trading, sports betting and also woodworking/steel fabrication as a hobby. (I'll speak about the reasons why I left in another post shortly as that has a whole story to it on its own.)\n\n\nSo that brings me to here, I'm always amazed at what the internet world has to offer and because of this, I get these huge rushes and I just can't sit still (well technically I do sit still at the computer... but you catch my drift), hence why I've just made a steemit account.\n\nAnyway, majority of my posts are going to be about crypto talk and also sports betting (and maybe some woodworking creations/designs and build-blogs if anybody seems interested in that and maybe gaming?). I'm still quite fresh with my TA so please bear with me.\n\n\nI'm excited to be here and hope you guys will be happy with my content!
